Introduction Takayasu arteritis (TAK) is a granulomatous inflammation of vessels of large diameter, mainly affecting the aorta and its proximal branches, which is more common in young women. The incidence of coronary artery disease in TAK is unknown and not sufficiently studied. Material and Methods A literature review was performed for the period 2003 to 2023 using a search of the PubMed and Scopus scientific databases. We used the following key words to search the academic journal data-bases: “Takayasu arteritis”, “coronary angiography”, “myocardial revascularization”, “coronary artery disease”, “angina pectoris”, and “myocardial infarction”. Results The analysis of studies showed that coronary artery lesions (CAL) in TAK are not uncommon, being identified particularly in children and young individuals. Pathology of the coronary arteries increases the morbidity and mortality of TAK patients. In TAK, the ostia and proximal segments of the coronary arteries are more frequently affected, presenting as stenosis or occlusion with the development of stable coronary artery disease, unstable coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction, and sudden death. The diagnosis of TAK and coronary artery pathology is often complicated due to non-specific manifestations and frequently the absence of symptoms. The treatment of patients with TAK with CAL is challenging and requires both pharmacological therapy and interventional or surgical methods of myocardial revascularization. Conclusions Takayasu arteritis is a more prevalent cause of CAL development, especially in young patients, than previously believed, and cardiovascular death due to CAL is not rare. Early diagnosis of TAK with CAL, particularly occlusion or hemodynamically significant stenosis, and the prompt initiation of appropriate treatment prevent dangerous complications, reduce mortality, and improve prognosis.

Violation of the main technological parameters of keeping and feeding poultry is the main factor in reducing egg productivity and health in the industrial production system. Therefore, the research aims to determine biochemical markers in acute technological stress caused by factors of various etiologies. In this study, serum biochemical parameters were evaluated for the effects of stimuli in egg-laying chickens. The study was conducted on several Hy-Line W-36 cross chickens in the conditions of a production line. Four groups of chickens (101 heads each) aged 52 weeks were formed to conduct the study. The control group was formed from 10 representatives of each of the groups. Further, each group was exposed to a corresponding technological stimulus. Birds of group 2 were not fed for 24 hours, those of group 3 were kept in a darkened place, and 60 additional birds were placed in a cage with the chickens of group 4. The highest effect on the dynamics of biochemical parameters was an increase in their concentration by 1 m2 cage space. The studies identified a substantial increase in the concentration of glucose and creatinine in the blood serum of chickens during over-compaction – by 24-28% (p

Background. Handgrip strength (HGS) and physical activity (PA) reflect an individual’s overall health and can predict morbidity and mortality. The purpose of the study was to investigate the level of PA and HGS and associated factors in young adults with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and determine the connection with body composition parameters. Materials and methods. We conducted a cross-sectional monocentric study of 40 young adults aged 18–30. We collected data on PA and anthropometric and clinical measurements, including disease activity and articular and extra-articular damages. All patients had the following evaluations performed: body composition (dual X-ray absorptiometry), PA level (International Physical Activity Questionnaire), and HGS measurement (using manual hand dynamometer). Results. Sixteen (40 %) patients were considered sedentary, and 32 (80 %) JIA patients had low HGS. The reduced HGS was likely in women, patients with lower body mass index, higher disease activity, and articular damage. In contrast, bone mineral density (BMD) and lean mass were protective factors for reduced HGS (p < 0.05). The level of PA was positively correlated with BMD and lean mass and negatively correlated with fat mass, swollen joint count, and articular damage (p < 0.05). Conclusions. JIA leads to changes in body composition parameters, particularly lean (muscle) mass and muscle strength, and therefore is a risk factor for the development of sarcopenia.

Plate-like heat exchangers made of the 06KhN28MDT alloy (similar to AISI904L steel) in the production of sulfuric, phosphoric, orthophosphoric acid, etc are used. It is resistant to local corrosion in these media, but can be exposed to crevice corrosion between the corrugations of adjacent heat transfer plates of plate-like heat exchangers from the side of circulating water, which is used to cool the technological product. In the article, the resistance of the alloy to crevice corrosion in model circulating water of 3% NaCl by electrochemical methods has been investigated. For five industrial melts of the alloy, anodic potentiodynamic curves of forward and reverse move have been constructed and potentials Er, Ecor, Ecrew have been determined. The resistance of the 06KhN28MDT alloy to crevice corrosion by the Ecrew potential and the basis of the resistance of the alloy to this corrosion in the crevice ΔE has been estimated, which simulated a gap between adjacent plates of plate-like heat exchangers of 0.3 mm. The Ecrew potentials are the most positive (1.10 and 1.13V) in melts of alloy 1, 5, and in melts 2, 3 – the most negative value (0.58V) has been established. This is due to the fact that they have the highest content of Cr (24.29 and 23.44 wt %) and the total content of Mo, Ti and Cu (6.41 and 6.19 wt %), and in melts 2, 3 – the smallest Cr (22.69 and 21.82 wt. %) and the total content of Mo, Ti, Cu (6.05 and 5.75 wt. %). Taking into account the literature data, it is assumed that this trend is related to the formation of mixed Cr, Mo, Ti oxide films enriched in Cr on the surface of the alloy, since Cu promotes its diffusion to the oxide film. Melts 1, 4, 5 with the lowest C content (0.050; 0.048; 0.050) have the most positive values of this potential (1.10; 1.10; 1.13V), and No 2, 3 are the most negative (0.58V) has been found, which may be due to the carbon content greater than its solubility in the solid solution of austenite (0.067 and 0.068 mass .%). No correlation between the Ecrew potential of the alloy and the volume of titanium nitrides in it has been found, but it that the potentials Er, Ecor, Ecrew significantly depend on the volume of titanium sulfides in the melt 1 (0.0091 vol. %), which is more than twice as high as in melts 2, 5 has been established. Evaluation of the resistance of the alloy to crevice corrosion in circulating water by ΔE, which was determined by the difference in the potentials of Еr and Ecor, showed similar results, in particular melts 1, 4, 5 are the most resistant to this local corrosion (ΔЕ = 1.2; 0.95; 0.98V), and No 2, 3 (ΔЕ = 0.93; 0.64V) are the least resistance. This is due to the influence of C, Cr, Mo, Ti and Cu, as well as the volume of titanium sulfides on the Er and Ecor potentials, similar to their influence on Ecrew. It is shown that pl. 1, 5, which are the most resistant to this local corrosion, have the minimum values of the mean diameter of the austenite grain (11 and 15 μm), and No 2, 3, which are most prone to it - 24 and 29 μm. But in melt 4, which occupies an intermediate place, this indicator is 31 μm. This is most likely due to the low probability of crossing titanium carbonitrides with austenite grain boundaries, where local corrosion damage originates. Melts 1, 5, which are the most resistant to crevice corrosion in circulating water, have the largest area of local damage has been established. This is due to the redistribution of currents between a smaller number of local damages due to the repassivation of a larger part of them. Manufacturers of plate-like heat exchangers to choose melts of the 06KhN28MDT alloy with a minimum content of C and a maximum of Cr, Mo, Ti and Cu with a mean austenite grain diameter of up to 15 μm are recommended.

sarcopenia ,inflammation ,rheumatic diseases ,review ,Medicine (General) ,R5-920 - Abstract
Sarcopenia is characterized by a loss of skeletal muscle mass, a decrease in muscle strength and/or physical performance, and is one of the main causes for limiting daily activities in the elderly. This is associated with an increased incidence of many adverse events such as dysfunction, falls, frailty, hospitalization, disability, and mortality. Primary (considered as a part of the aging process) and secondary sarcopenia (due to malabsorption, immobility/bed rest, starvation, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis, immune-mediated rheumatic diseases) are united by a chronic inflammatory process of different degrees. Sarcopenia supports one of the most widely accepted theories that low-grade chronic inflammation is important in the pathogenesis of many diseases. For a long time, sarcopenia was considered an age-related disease, but recently it has been reported to be more common in young subjects with autoimmune diseases. In particular, the relationship between sarcopenia and rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis has been studied in detail. Although the pathogenesis of sarcopenia in autoimmune diseases is not fully understood, it is believed that a chronic inflammatory process contributes to the development of loss of muscle mass and strength, and is different depending on the underlying disease. The definition of sarcopenia varies between studies, which complicates and limits direct comparisons. Therefore, in this review, we demonstrate various diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia, focusing on its prevalence in patients with rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, axial spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and systemic sclerosis. We developed a structured search strategy for English language publications in PubMed using the term “sarcopenia” in combination with the following keywords: “inflammation”, “diagnosis”, “criteria”, “muscle mass”, “strength”, “outcomes”, “disability”, “mortality”, “pathophysiology”, “rheumatoid arthritis”, “juvenile arthritis”, “axial spondylitis”, “psoriatic arthritis”, “systemic sclerosis”. We focused on clinical trials, meta-analyses and review articles. Articles published only after 2000 year were included, however, we did not include major contributions published before. The search was completed on October 8, 2022.

The research focuses on simulation modeling of the influence of factors on transport nodes. The utilization of electronic devices and sensors to track factors that are difficult to take into account by conventional methods is considered. The research emphasizes the importance of simulation modeling for the analysis of complex systems and offers the concept of applying modern technologies to accurately collect real data and create more realistic impact models. In the course of the research, current theories and developments concerning modern trends in simulation modeling were analyzed, areas that require clarification and additions were identified. In the experimental part, a simplified electronic circuit of a device for generating pulses, which is sensitive to the readings of real-time sensors, is proposed. The use of such devices can facilitate the collection of primary information about operational changes in the city’s road network, the formation of data arrays for traffic management systems. The development is of significant importance for identifying stochastic factors in certain areas and transport hubs, as well as determining the intensity of stochastic effects.

The main function of dUTPases is to regulate the cellular levels of dUTP and dTTP, thereby playing a crucial role in DNA repair mechanisms. Despite the fact that mutant organisms with obliterated dUTPase enzymatic activity remain viable, it is not possible to completely knock out the dut gene due to the lethal consequences of such a mutation for the organism. As a result, it is considered that this class of enzymes performs an additional function that is essential for the organism’s survival. In this study, we provide evidence that the dUTPase of bacteriophage T5 fulfills a supplemental function, in addition to its canonical role. We determined the crystal structure of bacteriophage T5 dUTPase with a resolution of 2.0 Å, and we discovered a distinct short loop consisting of six amino acid residues, representing a unique structural feature specific to the T5-like phages dUTPases. The removal of this element did not affect the overall structure of the homotrimer, but it had significant effects on the development of the phage. Furthermore, it was shown that the enzymatic function and the novel function of the bacteriophage T5 dUTPase are unrelated and independent from each other.

Relevance. Nonspecific aortoarteritis (NAA) or Takayasu's disease can exacerbate life-threatening arteritis of the pulmonary artery (LA), which is usually diagnosed with delay and lead to a poor prognosis. Objective: to review the literature data on LA lesions in NAA to improve the diagnosis and timely appointment of appropriate treatment for better the prognosis of the overall outcome. Methods. Review of scientific literature in international electronic databases PubMed, Google Scholar by keywords for the period 2007-2022. The search was conducted by two independent authors. 90 sources were selected for analysis, of which 43 were used, which were written in English and met the search criteria. Results. In NAA, LA lesions are not a rare pathology, which is observed in 5.7-66% of cases. LA arteritis can manifest itself in the form of stenosis, occlusion, dilatation, aneurysm, thrombosis in situ, and thickening of the arteries. When LA is involved in the pathological process, the risk of developing pulmonary hypertension (LH), heart failure, and lung parenchymal lesions increases, which worsens the prognosis of such patients. The pathology of LA is often diagnosed with a delay due to nonspecific symptoms. It should be noted that in NAA LH can develop not only due to LA arteritis but also due to the presence of pathology in the left heart. Conclusions. LA lesions are common in patients with NAA, however, are often diagnosed with a delay. Involvement of LA in the pathological process can lead to the development of LH, HF, and lung parenchymal lesions and worsen the prognosis, so early diagnosis and timely appropriate treatment are important to reduce morbidity and mortality due to LA lesions in NAA. In addition, pulmonary blood flow and intracardiac hemodynamics should be monitored regularly.

The experimental studies results of temperature distribution over metal corrugated sheet structure surface at positive and negative ambient temperatures are presented. It is established that the temperature is distributed unevenly over the sheet surface along its plane. An analytical method for calculating the temperature field from a fragment of a structure metal sheet in the case of setting the temperature at the sheet area boundaries is presented. The calculation of the temperature field distribution on the metal sheet of the structure with the setting of the temperature along the contour of the sheet is performed. As a result, it is established that at the metal sheet boundaries there is a temperature difference, which can cause the occurrence of temperature stresses and deformations.

This paper deals with theoretical models of soft skills development in teacher education. The immediate purpose of this consideration is to develop a model for the development of a teacher’s soft skills as a competent, innovative, motivated, and competitive specialist in the labor market in the present time. The role of soft skills in the process of professional development of employees in all organizations has been increasing in recent times. However, the importance and necessity of teachers’ soft skills and, therefore, their formation among students studying in pedagogical areas are not yet adequately realized by many participants in the educational process. This paper examines the concept of soft skills and identifies the importance of these skills for the development of a specialist in the pedagogical field. In addition, a comparative analysis of hard skills and soft skills was conducted, and their components, namely competences, values, and behavioral indicators were evaluated. An analysis was conducted to assess the labor market needs for new qualifications. This made it possible to design a model of the modern teacher with skills reflective of their real environment. The results of this study can be further used in the improvement of lifelong learning and adult education.

germinative chimaera ,shaoxing duck ,shanma ,busulfan ,egg productivity of ducks ,Animal culture ,SF1-1100 - Abstract
The relevance of the study is conditioned upon the necessity to explore the possible influence of chimerisation on the productivity of germinative duck chimaeras and their descendants. To obtain duck chimaeras, the method described by Aige-Gil & Simkiss and Tagirov was applied. Shanma duck embryos were used as recipients and Shaoxin duck embryos homozygous for the plumage colour gene (wild type) were used as donors. To evaluate the egg production of germinative chimaeras of ducks, the analysis of experimental animals and their control counterparts was performed. Analysis of the age of sexual maturation (laying the first egg) indicates that the chimaeras matured later. While in the control group the average age of puberty was 139±9 days, in the chimaera group it was 148±13 days. Thus, it can be concluded that in this experiment chimaeras matured later than control animals, which may be related to the effect of busulfan during the sterilisation of recipient embryos. The average live weight of ducks in the control group was lower, and the group itself was more united. Thus, in control ducks, the weight was 1422.40±57.00 g, and in chimaeras – 1608.80±94.76 g. The advantage of chimaeras over the control group in terms of live weight may be related to the fact that the control group consisted of recipients of the Shanma breed. Egg production of ducks for the entire research period was 87.5±0.05% (control) and 79.5±0.12% (busulfan). The weight of eggs in ducks of two groups for the entire period was: 70.62±0.199 g (control) and 71.15±0.157 g. Morphometric parameters of eggs of the researched groups of ducks: average values of egg length – 6.056±0.0564 cm (control) and 6.269±0.1341 cm (busulfan); egg width – 4.520± 0.0053 cm (control) and 4.529±0.004 cm (busulfan). There were no statistical intergroup differences in the morphometric parameters of the eggs of the research groups. Analysis of the productivity of daughters of germinative duck chimaeras demonstrates that, in general, the chimerisation of parents did not affect the productivity of their daughters. The analysis of the productivity of the group of daughters obtained from chimeric animals demonstrates that, by most indicators, this group occupies an intermediate place between the groups whose breeds served as donors and recipients. The method author of the research uses to obtain chimaeras is of practical value for the conservation of genetic resources

Background The SarQoL, a quality-of-life questionnaire specific to sarcopenia, was developed in 2015 and has since been translated into a number of other languages. The main reason to introduce this new Ukrainian version of the questionnaire was to measure sarcopenic individuals’ perceptions regarding their positions in life in the context of their culture and value systems. Methods The questionnaire was translated using a forward-backward approach with a pre-test. A total of 49 participants were recruited for the validation study. Sarcopenia was diagnosed according to the Ishii test. The validation analyses included discriminative power, internal consistency, floor and ceiling effects, construct validity, and test-retest reliability. We compared the SarQoL questionnaire to the Short-Form 36 and the EuroQoL-5 Dimensions. Results A total of 28 participants out of 49 were categorized as probably sarcopenic. They had a significantly lower quality of life (overall score 58.43±17.13 vs. 69.89±13.31; p=0.014). The internal consistency was excellent (α=0.898), with none of the domains showing a disproportionate influence on the homogeneity of the questionnaire. Convergent construct validity was also confirmed. The results indicated a near-perfect degree of test-retest reliability. Conclusions The first Ukrainian version of the questionnaire is equivalent to the available original English version.

Development of effective technology of rare and endangered plant species mass reproduction in vitro is one of the urgent nowadays tasks. Diantus hypanicus Andrz. of the Caryophyllaceae Juss. family belongs to this group of plants. It is an endemic, narrow-localized species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, the European Red List and the Annex to the Berne Convention. Prospects for the conservation of this species are associated with the study of its viability and require the development of effective reproduction methods. Aim. The purpose of the experiment was to determine the effect of different growth regulators concentrations on the D. hypanicus explants regenerative capacity during in vitro propagation. Methods. For the experiment the seed were used collected from plants of natural habitats and sown on a hormone-free nutrient medium according to the recipe of Murashige and Skoog. For 12–15 days, 4–6 cm long seedlings were obtained which were transferred to nutrient media modified with the content of growth-regulating substances: BAP 0.5–2.0 mg / l, IBA 0.01 mg / l and IAA 0.1 mg / l. Results. Initiation of adventitious buds with subsequent shoot formation was observed for 12–16 days. Each variant plants differed in number, growth activity and intensity, morphometric parameters. After 35–40 days from the explant introduction, conglomerates with well-developed leafy shoots were formed. It was found that, when modifying nutrient media with growth regulators BAP, IBA, IAA of different concentrations, D. hypanicus explants were actively undergoing regeneration processes of different intensity. Conclusions. It was proved that high ability to regenerate was the characteristic of explants cultured on a nutrient medium modified by the addition of BAP – 0.5 mg / l and IAA – 0.1 mg / l, where, on average, 18 ± 0.24 shoots of 2.42 ± 0.17 cm long were formed with a net reproduction of 19.06 ± 0.14. Shoots with 3.0–5.0 pairs of leaves that reached 3.5–6.0 cm were selected and transferred to nutrient media for rooting. Less developed shoots were planted on nutrient media for further reproduction. The next stage of the study is aimed at modifying nutrient media to achieve explants rhizogenesis and obtain a large number of plants necessary for the preservation of this endemic narrow-localized species in culture with subsequent repatriation to natural places of growth.

Reactive arthritis (ReA) remains an important problem in the practice of rheumatology, and is one of the most common types of acute arthritis in young people. The relevance of ReA is due to its high frequency, difficulties of diagnosis, a chronicity with an insufficiently effective treatment. The article discusses current literature data on Yersinia arthritis, features of pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment. The occurrence of ReA is most often associated with gastrointestinal or urogenital infection, which precedes the development of joint syndrome. Among the ReAs associated with intestinal infection, Yersinia is quite common. Intestinal yersiniosis is severe, has a significant duration with a tendency to chronicity, involvement of various organs and systems in the pathological process. The features of Yersiniosis pathogens in combination with infectious conditions cause a wide variety of clinical manifestations. The disease has a frequent association with HLA-B27 antigen. Among the common clinical symptoms of ReA there are asymmetric arthritis of the lower extremities, sausage-like toe deformity, tendonitis, enthesitis (most commonly heel tendon enthesitis), and asymmetric sacroiliitis. The frequency and severity of extra-articular manifestations may be different: lesions of the eyes, skin, mucous membranes, urogenital or gastrointestinal tract. First-line drugs in the treatment of ReA are NSAIDs. Patients with an active source of infection also require a long-term treatment with antibacterial therapy, sulfosalazine is added in case of a chronic arthritis. The article presents a clinical case of Yersiniosis reactive arthritis, emphasizes the multidisciplinary approach in the management of the patient.

The article analyzes the issues of inclusion and special education in the creative heritage of Sofia Rusova – teacher, citizen, politician, state maker, who considered them in the context of world scientific achievements of the interwar period of the XX century. Inclusion, as a process of increasing the participation of all citizens in society, including those with physical or mental disabilities, involves the development and implementation of specific solutions that will allow each person to participate equally in academic and public life. The evolution of the idea of inclusion and the birth of special education S. Rusova closely linked with the understanding and interpretation of the leading principles of pedagogy, general and social psychology, sociology, philosophy of education, historical and pedagogical searches of the late XIX - early XX century. Perhaps the most important source of new pedagogical ideas of S. Rusova, embodied in the writings of the interwar period (“New School of Social Education”, “Education and Sociology of Durkheim”, “Social Education: Its Importance in Public Life”, “Public Issues of Education” became acquainted with the latest trends in Western European pedagogy, which allowed her to keep up with the times, psychologize pedagogy. Extensive education, fluency in the leading European languages (first and foremost, French) made it possible for S. Rusova to access the original literature - works by J. Dewey, E. Claapared, G. Kerschensteiner, V. Lai, E. Meiman, and G. Spencer with the most prominent pedagogical figures of the 1920s and 1930s, including O. Decroly and M. Montessori, and studying the experience of their practical work. Guided by the statement that “ development of the child is influenced by three main factors: education, heritage, and environment”, based on the experiments of foreign (German, Belgian, Czech) researches, the scientist revealed the specifics of social and educational impact of the environment, preparing the groundwork inclusion as a set of conditions, methods and means of their implementation for joint learning, education and development of the educational recipients, taking into account their needsand opportunities. At the same time, I emphasize the shaft that no child “is passively influenced by the environment: it takes from it what its individuality seeks.” The issue of special education, in particular, the psychological and pedagogical principles of working with children with intellectual disabilities, is most fully revealed in S. Rusova's work, “Something about defective children in school”. It clearly traces the idea that children of all walks of life are necessarily subject to process education and training. According to S. Rusova, children with deviant behavior (in particular, “child offenders”), for whom the conditions for education as a factor of their re-education should be created, and for the needs of such schools, should not be left out of the educational influence in order to organize teacher training “with a deep psychological understanding of their sick students, with a heart warmed with love for them, and with a certain understanding of their social and pedagogical task: to return these children to citizenship ...”. Summarizing the above, it can be argued that the issues of inclusion, studying, education of children and young people with special educational needs, as represented by the property of Sofia Rusova are a significant contribution to Ukrainian and world pedagogical thought, an important factor in the revival of national educational systems in the teaching experiences of the past.

Abstract Species occupying habitats subjected to frequent natural and/or anthropogenic changes are a challenge for conservation management. We studied one such species, Viola uliginosa, an endangered perennial wetland species typically inhabiting sporadically flooded meadows alongside rivers/lakes. In order to estimate genomic diversity, population structure, and history, we sampled five sites in Finland, three in Estonia, and one each in Slovenia, Belarus, and Poland using genomic SNP data with double‐digest restriction site‐associated DNA sequencing (ddRAD‐seq). We found monophyletic populations, high levels of inbreeding (mean population FSNP = 0.407–0.945), low effective population sizes (Ne = 0.8–50.9), indications of past demographic expansion, and rare long‐distance dispersal. Our results are important in implementing conservation strategies for V. uliginosa, which should include founding of seed banks, ex situ cultivations, and reintroductions with individuals of proper origin, combined with continuous population monitoring and habitat management.

Relevance. The polyarticular variant of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a disease that begins in childhood and leads to joint damage and disability in adulthood with significant social losses. At 18, patients go under the supervision of adult rheumatologists, often accompanied by loss of control of the disease due to insufficient compliance from both the patient and the physician. Today, there is no documented process for the transfer of patients from childhood to adulthood in Ukraine. Therefore, creating an algorithm for managing such patients is an urgent task. The polyarticular variant of JIA is a disease that begins in childhood and leads to joint damage and disability in adulthood with significant social losses. Objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical and laboratory status and to develop an algorithm for managing adult patients with polyarticular variant of JIA, depending on the detection of RF or/and A-CCP. Materials and methods. The study included 168 adult patients from different regions of Ukraine who were diagnosed with JIA in childhood between 1984 and 2014 without severe comorbidities. Inclusion criteria were: 16 to 60 years old; duration of the disease more than 3 years; the presence of documentary evidence of childhood diagnosis of JIA (ambulatory card, hospital records). Among patients with JIA were identified 53 patients with polyarticular variant, of whom 42 or 25% - with RF (-) polyarthritis and 11 or 6.5% - with RF (+) polyarthritis. The disease activity was evaluated by DAS28 and JADAS-10. The questionaries SF-36, HAQ, TAS-20, PHQ-9 were analyzed and remote articular JADI-A and extra-articular JADI-E damages were evaluated. Statistical studies were performed using IBM SPPS Statistics version 25.0.0.0 software, the results were considered to be reliable at 5% critical level (P

interleukin 17A in complex with VHH domain ,netakimab ,crystal structure ,Biology (General) ,QH301-705.5 ,Chemistry ,QD1-999 - Abstract
Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is a cytokine produced by the Th17 cells. It is involved in chronic inflammation in patients with autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, and psoriasis. The antibodies targeting IL-17 and/or IL-17R are therapy tools for these diseases. Netakimab is an IL-17A-specific antibody containing a Lama glama VHH derivative domain and a VL variable domain. We have determined the crystal structure of the IL-17A-specific VHH domain in complex with IL-17A at 2.85 Å resolution. Certain amino acid residues of the three complementary-determining regions of the VHH domain form a network of solvent-inaccessible hydrogen bonds with two epitope regions of IL-17A. The β-turn of IL-17A, which forms the so-called epitope-1, appears to be the main region of IL-17A interaction with the antibody. Contacts formed by the IL-17A mobile C-terminal region residues (epitope-2) further stabilize the antibody–antigen complex.

Introduction. In countries of Europe are implementing mechanisms for the humane treatment with farm animals, which provides also minimizing the pain and suffering of animals during slaughter. For this, government of EU in 2009 year adopted the corresponding Regulation № 1099/2009. Established, that stress before slaughtering animals leads to an increase the level of catecholamines and creatinekinase in their organism, which causes rapid glycolysis, during which accumulates lactic acid in the meat. This leads to a decrease level of glycogen, which causes change pH of the meat and capacity holding the water, the meat acquiring tougher and darker color. In Ukraine many Ukrainian enterprises of the meat industry received certificates, that attesting the accordance of their products the conditions of "Halal", which opens for them the way to new markets of selling the meat of beef. However insufficiently studied remains the issue of storing the qualitative indices of halal meat during transportation on long distance. The data about study the date of expiration such meat also absent. The purpose of this work was to study the qualitative indices of cooled and frozen meat of certified beef of breed of Aberdeen-Angus, to establish the date of expiration. Research materials and methods. The object of the research: cooled and frozen meat of beef obtained from cattle of breed of Aberdeen-Angus of the company "HALAL MEAT COMPANY" is packed in vacuum bags for establish the date of expiration during storage for 16 months. In order to conduct the research were taken three samples of halal beef of the Aberdeen-Angus breed: sample № 1 – a neck cut from the scapular part of the carcass, sample № 2 – marbled beef for pork from the scapular part of the carcass, sample № 3 – marbled beef classic from the breast part of the carcass. The pH of the meat was determined on a pH meter Delta OHM HD2305.0 the Italian company SIMVOLT with a electrode KP70. Organoleptic evaluation of the product carried out in accordance with DSTU 4589:2006, determination of the number of mesophilic aerobic and facultatively anaerobic microorganisms - in accordance with GOST 10444.15, detection of bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli - in accordance with GOST 21237. Research on the presence bacteria of L. monocytogenes carried out according to DSTU ISO 11290-1, and the presence bacteria strain of Salmonella carried out in accordance with GOST 21237. The results processed by methods of variational statistics with using the standard package of programs of Microsoft Excel. Research results. When measuring the level of pH it established, that in the cooled test samples it was within the normal range and was: sample № 1 – 5.83, sample № 2 – 5.74, sample № 3 – 5.79. When they were stored after thawing the pH decreased. Thus, after 4, 12 and 16 months of storage, the pH of experimental sample № 1 was 5.25; 5.16 and 5.20; sample № 2 – 5.29; 5.21; 5.18; sample № 3 – 5.24; 5.17 and 5.21. After thawing the test samples, that were stored, occurred loss the moisture. Thus, when they were stored for 4 months the loss of moisture after thawing for sample № 1 was 5.2%, sample № 2 – 4.9%, sample № 3 – 4.3%. When carrying out organoleptic studies it established, that in all thawed test samples detected signs change of color after 4 months of storage and signs of spoilage after storage of 16 months. After carrying out microbiological studies it established, that pathogenic microorganisms such as Salmonella and L.monocytogenes detected in samples of thawed meat, which had been stored for 16 months. The number of mesophilic aerobic and facultatively anaerobic microorganisms during storage increased. Thus, in the cooled meat of sample № 1, sample № 2, and sample № 3, this indice was 6.8*103; 6.1*103 and 5.7*103, which did not exceed the requirements of the standard. For thawed test samples after 12 months of storage this indice increases: sample № 1 – 4.6*104, sample № 2 – 3.9*104, sample № 3 – 4.0*104. Exceeding the requirements of the standard of thawed samples of meat noted after 16 months of storage, which leads to their spoilage. Conclusions. In result of the conducted research it established, that the pH of all experimental samples of cooled meat of beef was within the normal range and was in average 5.78. During storage of experimental samples after their thawing, the pH decreased, which is associated with damage to fibers of meat caused by the formation crystals of ice during freezing and thawing. Also, when were stored the experimental samples for 4 months the loss of moisture after defrosting was from 4.3% in sample № 3 to 5.2% in sample № 1. The change the level of pH in the experimental samples and loss their moisture affected on organoleptic indices: changed the appearance of the meat, color, it has lost the juiciness. The number of mesophilic aerobic and facultatively anaerobic microorganisms after 16 months of storage exceeded the established standards according to GOST 10444.15. In the course of research it was established, that the recommended date of storage of halal meat of beef of breed of Aberdeen-Angus is 12 months at a temperature of -18...-25°С in vacuum packs.

Relevance. It is known that the poly-articular variant of JIA is associated with significant articular and extra-articular damages with predominant lesions of small and medium joints with limitation of their function and the development of ankylosis, requiring surgical intervention in these patients. Objective. The aim of the study was to evaluate the risk factors of articular and extra-articular damages in adults with the poly-articular variant of the JIA and to work out a prognostic model for their development. Materials and methods. The study included 45 adult patients with poly-articular (RF+ and RF-) variant of the JIA. Retrospective analysis of medical records of patients with poly-articular variant of JIA was made, taking into account clinical manifestations in the onset of the disease, laboratory parameters and response to therapy. In adulthood, the integral index of articular (JADI-A) and extra-articular (JADI-E) damages was used to assess the long-term effects of JIA. Results. Unfavorable prognostic factors were revealed by method of binary logistic regression. Mathematical model for predicting the probability of long-term negative articular and extra-articular damages of poly-articular JIA was developed. Conclusions 1. The risk factors for the development of articular and extra-articular damages in adulthood in patients with a poly-articular variant of the JIA are female sex, the presence of lymphadenopathy and/or splenomegaly in childhood, the level of ESR during treatment in childhood, the activity of JADAS in childhood, the presence of symmetric arthritis in childhood, the RF positivity in the debut of the disease, the treatment with glucocorticoids, the cumulative dose of the DMARDs, and lack of therapy by DMARDs. 2. A prognostic model for the development of articular and extra-articular damages in adult patients with a poly-articular variant of the JIA is developed. This model is effective and allows determine the adverse course of the disease and can be the basis for personalized treatment for the prevention of the development of significant articular and extra-articular damages of JIA.

Relevance. The existence of associations between histocompatibility antigens and JIA variants has been proved. There is no consensus that the JIAs associated with HLA-B27 antigen are transformed in adulthood into other diseases for which it is necessary to revise the diagnosis, according to the adult classification of rheumatic diseases. Is this one process that began in childhood and continues into adulthood, and whether these two processes that begin in childhood and adulthood have common signs and differences? There is few data about the hallmarks of the disease and outcome in adulthood. Objective. – To investigate the frequency of HLA-B27 detection in adult patients with a history of JIA and to evaluate the clinical features of the course of arthritis in adulthood and the long-term articular and extra-articular consequences of JIA. Materials and methods. A survey of 132 young adult patients with different variants of JIA in the history (70 women, 62 males), aged – 24,3±8,3 years; disease duration – 13,6±9,3 years. We evaluated body mass index, anamnestic data, visual analogue scale, C-reactive protein quantitatively, HLA-B27, rheumatoid factor (RF), IgG-antibody to cyclic citrulline peptide (anti-CCP) and antinuclear antibody (АNА). Long-term effects JIA assessed by joint indices (JADI-A) and extraarticular (JADI-E) damage. Disease activity in childhood and adulthood was assessed on a scale JADAS (Juvenile Arthritis Disease Activity Score) and DAS 28. For statistic analises we use the Statistica 6.0 software packages Copyright © StatSoft, Inc. 1984-2001. Results. The materials were analyzed by the methods of variational statistics using the standard package of programs the Microsoft Excel. Research results. In 01.01.2001 year the statuses of subjects breeding business in animal husbandry for the breeding the Simmental beef breed confirmed 7 farms in 5 regions of Ukraine. Since 2004 year rapidly increase the number of agricultural enterprises and, accordingly, the number of stock. The peak values of the number of farms were marked in 2007 and 2008 years. The structure of enterprises as 1 of January 2007 year of the number of cows was following: 47% enterprises with the number of breeding stock more than 100 heads; 25% of enterprises – up to 50 heads; 19% – up to 100 heads and only 9% of enterprises with the number of cows more than 200 heads. In accordance with the change number of breeding stock, also changed the load of bulls during natural mating. Over the years, the maximum number of certified live sires reached 50 heads. Accordingly, the load on one sire per mating campaign fluctuated from 34 cows in 2017 year to 104 – in 2003 year. But practically, the loading pressure was smoothed partially due to artificial insemination and the use of live sires of other breeds, such us Limousin, Aberdeen Angus – for ease of calving. Practical work directed at the breeding of the Ukrainian Simmental beef breed provided the constant functioning of breeding enterprises for the evaluation of bulls and the accumulation of sperm production from the best sires. The highest number of sperm production was marked from 2008 to 2011 years. Since 2012 year systematically decrease the number of genetic material and in 2015 year it was minimal. According to the materials prepared for the approbation of the Simmental beef breed, the genealogical structure is represented by 6 lines: Abricot 58311, Achilles 369, Metz 529019743, Honig 005230191, Streiter 015920791 and Zabavny 1142 and 19 families. However, the low dynamics of the movement of genetic material due to the productive use of sires more than 6 years and the reduction of basic farms bring to the practical cessation of laying and formation of families and work with lines. Since 2015 year breeding the Simmental beef breed engaged 4 enterprises with an average annual breeding stock of more than 100 cows. The effectiveness of the activity of subjects breeding business in animal husbandry is determined by the parameters of production and economic activity, a constituent element of which are quantitative indicators of the realization of genetic resources. Analyzing the level of operations of purchase-sale of breeding animals of the Simmental beef breed for 20 years, marked an annual predominance volumes of realization over volumes of acquisition. Exception are the indicators of 2004 and 2006 years, in which the purchase of breeding young prevailed the level of sales. Conclusions. Statistical analysis confirms the importance of state regulation on the development of specific breeds in agricultural enterprises. The working mechanism of state subsidies and the regulatory influence on the volume and direction of export-import operations ensured a progressive movement towards increasing the stock of the Simmental beef breed. The decrease in the influence of the state on the functioning of the internal market products of cattle breeding has led to a reduction farms breeding this breed and a general decrease in selection parameters among the available stock. Due to the absence of investment attractiveness to beef cattle breeding in general and to the Simmental breed in particular decreases the possibility of its approbation as a new selective achievement of Ukraine.

Bacterial S1 protein is a functionally important ribosomal protein. It is a part of the 30S ribosomal subunit and is also able to interact with mRNA and tmRNA. An important feature of the S1 protein family is a strong tendency towards aggregation. To study the amyloidogenic properties of S1, we isolated and purified the recombinant ribosomal S1 protein of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Using the FoldAmyloid, Waltz, Pasta 2.0, and AGGRESCAN programs, amyloidogenic regions of the protein were predicted, which play a key role in its aggregation. The method of limited proteolysis in combination with high performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometric analysis of the products, made it possible to identify regions of the S1 protein from P. aeruginosa that are protected from the action of proteinase K, trypsin, and chymotrypsin. Sequences of theoretically predicted and experimentally identified amyloidogenic regions were used to synthesize four peptides, three of which demonstrated the ability to form amyloid-like fibrils, as shown by electron microscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. The identified amyloidogenic sites can further serve as a basis for the development of new antibacterial peptides against the pathogenic microorganism P. aeruginosa.

Background. Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) is a term used to classify a group of heterogeneous pediatric rheumatic diseases. Many of these conditions persist through adulthood. Presence of chronic inflammatory disease along with a glucocorticoid treatment is the risk factor of osteoporosis in young adult males. The purpose was to study the bone mineral density (BMD), T- and Z-scores in young adult males with JIA. Materials and methods. The study included 50 patients aged 19–25 years, divided into two groups: I — 25 apparently healthy young males; ІІ — 25 young men from different regions of Ukraine with a history of JIA in childhood, regardless of the presence or absence of active inflammation at the time of the observation. Two-energy X-ray densitometry (Prodigy, GE Lunar, Madison, USA) was performed at the D.F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology, Ukrainian Scientific-Medical Centre for the Problems of Osteoporosis, together with analysis of BMD, T- and Z-scores at different skeletal areas. Results. Young men with JIA and healthy individuals did not differ in age, height, weight and body mass index. Four patients with JIA (16 %) had fractures, while in the control group, there were no fractures. Negative impact of the JIA on the BMD was found in group II compared to group I. Lumbar spine BMD in group II was lower (p < 0.01) than in healthy subjects, as well as the Z-score (p < 0.001) in the L1-L4 lumbar spine region. BMD, T- and Z-scores in femoral neck region were lower in group II than in group I (p < 0.001; p < 0.001; p < 0.01, respectively). Significant differences between the two groups were found in total body BMD (p < 0.001), T-score (p < 0.01), Z-score (p < 0.05). Patients with JIA had lower BMD (p < 0.01) and T-score (p < 0.05) of the ultradistal radius. Decrease of BMD up to the level of osteopenia (Z-score < –2 SD) was found in 20 % patients at the level of L1-L4 lumbar spine, in 8 % — at femoral neck, in 12 % — at total body and in 8 % patients at the level of ultradistal radius. Conclusions. Young men with JIA aged 19–25 years had reduced total body BMD, T- and Z-scores, which indicate the negative impact of the disease on the bone tissue compared with healthy men of the corresponding age.

Background. Study of bone mineral density (BMD) in young adults with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is important because long-term administration of glucocorticoids and the presence of chronic systemic inflammation can lead to loss of bone tissue in young people with chronic inflammatory disease in anamnesis. Objective: the study of BMD in young female with juvenile onset of JIA. Materials and methods. Ninety-nine female patients aged 19 to 39 years were divided into two groups: І — 59 healthy young female, ІІ — 40 young female with JIA. The following parameters were evaluated: the age of the disease onset, the duration of delayed diagnosis, disease duration, the ILAR-variant in the disease onset, the BMD in different areas and their T and Z scores. Results. It was found that the onset of JIA was at the age of 11.16 ± 4.34 years, it took 23.52 ± 21.37 months from the beginning of the first clinical manifestations to the time of diagnosis, the disease duration was 11.9 ± 9.4 years, persistant oligoarthritis was detected in 25 % of patients, RF-negative polyarthritis in 22.5 %, extended oligoarthritis in 10 %, RF-positive polyarthritis in 10 %, systemic-onset JIA in 12.5 %, enthesitis-related JIA in 15 %, undifferentiated arthritis in 10 %, psoriatic arthritis in 5 % of patients. BMD (p < 0.000001), T (p = 0.00001) and Z scores in the lumbar spine were lower in female with JIA than in healthy people. Femoral neck BMD (p < 0.000001) and T score (p = 0.00002), total body BMD (p < 0.000001), T- (p = 0.00009) and Z-scores (p < 0.000001) were lower in patients with JIA than in healthy people. However, ultradistal forearm BMD in the female patients differed from healthy ones’ only in T and Z scores (p = 0.004). Z score < –2 SD in young adults was detected in 40 % of patients in the lumbar spine, in 24 % of patients in the femoral neck, in 35.5 % of patients in the total body and in 52.9 % of patients in ultradistal forearm, and T score < –2.5 SD in 3.3 % patinets in lumbar spine, in 3.4 % patients in the femoral neck, in 36.7 % patients in the total body, in 23.5 % patients in the ultradistal forearm. Osteopenia by T score at the lumbar spine was found in 43.3 %, the femoral neck in 41.4 %, the total body in 36.7 %, ultradistal forearm in 23.5 % of patients. Conclusions. А significant decrease of bone mineral density, T- and Z-scores was observed in young female with JIA in the lumbar spine, femoral neck and total body, compared to healthy female patients of the corresponding age. The presence of JIA in childhood negatively affects the formation of peak bone mass and leads to a decrease of the BMD in adulthood, that requires the active observation and appointment of prophylactic therapy in childhood and, if necessary, treatment to prevent osteoporotic complications.

The data presented in this article are related to the research article entitled “One of the possible mechanisms of amyloid fibrils formation based on the sizes of primary and secondary folding nuclei of Aβ40 and Aβ42” (Dovidchenko et al., 2016) [1]. Aβ peptide is one of the most intensively studied amyloidogenic peptides. Despite the huge number of articles devoted to studying different fragments of Aβ peptide there are only several papers with correct kinetics data, also there are a few papers with X-ray data, especially for Aβ42. Our data present X-ray diffraction patterns both for Aβ40 and Aβ42 as well for Tris–HCl and wax. Moreover, our data provide kinetics of amyloid formation by recombinant Аβ40 and synthetic Аβ42 peptides by using electron microscopy.

The article is devoted to analysis of the essential meaning of the notions “stock market” and “securities market”, which necessity stems from the current situation in the Ukrainian stock market, referred to as “reloading”, as a consequence of change in the national legislative and regulatory acts, introduction of a novel approach to accounting of its transactions, and the blurred border line between the above notions. This situation prevents from enhancing the reliability of statistical information on the securities market dynamics, which causes the distrust in it by potential investors. The essential meaning of stock market as an economic category and its operation principles are defined in the article, for proper elaboration of the guidelines for analytical studies of the Ukrainian stock market. The objective of the study is to analyze and sum up the approaches to interpretation of the notions “stock market” and “securities market”, with formulating definitions that take account of theoretical and practical contexts. The scientific contribution of the study is in broader interpretation of the category “stock market” as the synergy of securities market (including all the types of transactions with all the types of securities) and the system of economic relations that occur in the process of raising, distribution and redistribution of corporate and private funds and transactions with them. Also, the category “securities market” is interpreted from practical point as the system of economic relations between the market participants engaged in profit–making transactions on allocation, circulation, purchase and sales of securities. The structural scheme for the Ukrainian stock market is proposed, which lay grounds for the conclusion about the essential difference of the two notions, because one market is an integral part of the other. The need for future in–depth studies in the field is emphasized.

Introduction. The parameters of the statistical estimation structure of the population of the Polissian beef breed now testify to the necessity to attribute it to the objects, that requires the practical realization of the basic mechanisms preservation of gene pool. Now in Polissian beef breed the most numerous are only three factory lines: Kaskader 530, Omar 814 and Iris 559, which is not enough for maintain the optimal level of breed-specific variability of breeding signs and organization of controlled use of bulls of improving breeds, in particular Charolais, in reproduction of livestock. Thus, there is a necessity for a comprehensive study of individual datum to the birth of animals of the Polissian beef breed in individual herds, which was the purpose of this work. The purpose of this work was to investigate the peculiarities of the birth of the livestock of Polissian beef breed in SFG "Veres" Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region. Research materials and methods. The study of the genealogical structure was carried out on the basis of data of primary zootechnical accounting in the format of SMBC "Orsek-M", expeditionary examination of the herd and the results of a comprehensive individual estimating of animals. Live weight of cows was taken into account based on the results of their annual weighing for rating. The milk yield of cows was calculated from the live weight of their calves at weaning – in 180 days. Biometric processing of data was carrying out according to the method of N. A. Plokhinsky with using the software Microsoft Excel. Research results. According to the decree from 03.09.2021 № 171 "About the appropriation of respective to statuses to the subjects of pedigree business in stock-breeding in the I and II quarters of 2021 year "SFG "Veres" was appropriated the status of pedigree breeder for breeding Polissian beef breed. In 01.10.21 year the total population of the breed is 142 heads, including 97 cows and 2 bulls. When analyzing the genealogical structure of the livestock it was determined, that 48.6% of cows belong to the line of Kaskader 530, 41.7 – to the line of Iris 559 and 8.3 – to the related group Yavor 636. Only 1 cow descended from the bull of the breed of Charolais, which is 1.4% from the total number of cows. The average age of cows is 5.4 years. In general, the age of cows fluctuate from 3.2 to 7.4 years. The cows of the line of Iris 559 are the oldest, and the cows of the related group Yavor 636 together with the cow, which is descended from the bull of the breed of Charolais – are the youngest. For improve the selection traits in the herd was used the gene pool of the breed of Charolais. Thus, in 2021 year were obtained the repair heifers, which descended from bulls of the breed of Charolais: Brend UA 8013844717, Snezhok UA 8014325575 and Greek UA 8012090666. When analyzing the growth of repair heifers it was determined, that the average live weight of heifers at weaning – in 180 days is 221.3 kg, which exceeds the parameters of the rating scale of young animals for the class of elite-record by 21 kg. The highest average live weight at weaning had the daughters of bulls Snezhok UA 8014325575 – 238.5 kg, which is 22.1 and is 17.9 kg more, compared with the daughters of bulls Greek UA 8012090666 and Brend UA 8013844717. For a more detailed description of the herd were analyzed the results of individual weighing of cows of III and IV calving and their offspring at the age of 210 days for determination milk yield. It was determined, that cows of III calving had an average live weight of 667.5 kg with a coefficient of variation of 7.2%. When analyzing the average live weight of cows of different lines it was determined, that the highest its indicator had cows of the line of Kaskader 530 – 678.3 kg, which is 25.0 and is 1.0 kg more, compared with cows of the line of Iris 559 and related group Yavor 636. The average milk yield of cows of the III calving is 249.2 kg, which exceeds the parameters of the rating scale of young animals for the class of elite-record by 29 kg. The detected regularity of higher parameters of milk yield in groups of animals with lower live weight can be used as a factor in the selection of cows by indicators to the efficiency conversion of feed into milk productivity. The average live weight of cows of IV calving is 643.3 kg with level of variability of 5.9%. When analyzing the average live weight of cows of different lines by IV calving it was determined, that the highest its indicator also had cows of the line of Kaskader 530. The average milk yield of cows of IV calving is 265.2 kg with a coefficient of variation – 9.7%. The average milk yield was highest in the cows of the related group Yavor 636 and of the line of Kaskader 530. Conclusions. The analyze of the genealogical structure of the herd forms the information basis for further selection work based on the adjustment of the mating campaign. The results of the analysis of live weight and milk yield cows of Polissian beef breed taking into account the birth by paternal reflect the prospects of quantitative expansion of the line of Kaskader 530, which will increase the level of genetic variability and improve parameters individual growth and development of animal.

Controlling the aggregation of vital bacterial proteins could be one of the new research directions and form the basis for the search and development of antibacterial drugs with targeted action. Such approach may be considered as an alternative one to antibiotics. Amyloidogenic regions can, like antibacterial peptides, interact with the “parent” protein, for example, ribosomal S1 protein (specific only for bacteria), and interfere with its functioning. The aim of the work was to search for peptides based on the ribosomal S1 protein from T. thermophilus, exhibiting both aggregation and antibacterial properties. The biological system of the response of Gram-negative bacteria T. thermophilus to the action of peptides was characterized. Among the seven studied peptides, designed based on the S1 protein sequence, the R23I (modified by the addition of HIV transcription factor fragment for bacterial cell penetration), R23T (modified), and V10I (unmodified) peptides have biological activity that inhibits the growth of T. thermophilus cells, that is, they have antimicrobial activity. But, only the R23I peptide had the most pronounced activity comparable with the commercial antibiotics. We have compared the proteome of peptide-treated and intact T. thermophilus cells. These important data indicate a decrease in the level of energy metabolism and anabolic processes, including the processes of biosynthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. Under the action of 20 and 50 μg/mL R23I, a decrease in the number of proteins in T. thermophilus cells was observed and S1 ribosomal protein was absent. The obtained results are important for understanding the mechanism of amyloidogenic peptides with antimicrobial activity and can be used to develop new and improved analogues.

Introduction. In the structure of meat cattle breeding in Ukraine already a long time the leader in the number among of breeds of foreign origin there is a Aberdeen-Angus. This breed, due to its high manufacturability, is intensively used as a genetic material in the breed-forming process and increase the production capacities of the pedigree base of cattle breeding. At one time, the most intensive works on the development of the breed was conduct on the basis of the SAE "Main Breeding Center of Ukraine". Thanks the validity state support was organized the estimating of bulls for their own productivity and quality of descendants, was formed a bank of deep-frozen sperm and embryos, were created informative electronic card indexes of individual data of pedigree animals. This determines the expediency of analyzing the features of the formation of the genealogical structure of the population of the Aberdeen-Angus breed on the basis of the study of individual herds, which becoming the purpose of this work. The average daily gain of live weight of heifers for the period from birth to 12 months of age fluctuated from 615 to 750 grams. The highest and the lowest average live weight at 12 months had the heifers the family of E. Pride 11153487 – 307.0 ± 19.7 kg and the family of K. Pride 11212597 – 249.2 ± 8.5 kg, respectively. Almost identical average live weight had the heifers the families of K. Wessie 10887560 and Kornela 3200797248 – 266.1 ± 11.14 kg and 266.6 ± 6.1 kg, respectively. The age of the first insemination fluctuated from 17.6 months in heifers the family of Erika 3200797288 to 21.4 months in heifers the family of K. Vessi 10887560. The highest average live weight at the age of the first insemination had the heifers the family of Sandy 951931 – 364.7 ± 20.6 kg, and the lowest – the heifers the family of Erika 3200797288 – 303.0 ± 8.8 kg, due to the younger age of their first insemination. Conclusions. Considerable narrowing of the genealogical structure of the modern herd of Aberdeen-Angus breed in SAE "Main Breeding Center of Ukraine" provoke the full absence representatives such classical lines as Ideal 3163, Power Play 8974207 and Showshoun 548. Due to the expansion of the related group Team Z Pecina 4031 will increase the genetic variability, reorganize age structure the uterine stock and direct zootechnical work with families to improve the parameters of individual growth and development of animals.

To assess the long-term effects of juvenile idiopathic arthritis in adulthood, unified diagnostic methods for articular and extra-articular lesions should be used which depend on the juvenile idiopathic arthritis variants, the disease activity and treatment. The objective of the research was to compare the clinical manifestations in adult patients with different juvenile idiopathic arthritis-specific immunogenic markers and to evaluate their impact on the long-term articular and extra-articular damage. Materials and methods. We observed 132 young patients with different juvenile idiopathic arthritis variants. According to genetic/immunological markers the following groups were formed: Group I - 38 positive human leukocyte antigen B27 patients; Group II - 13 positive antinuclear antibody patients; Group III - 26 positive rheumatoid factor/anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide patients and Group IV - 55 patients with all negative markers. Long-term effects of juvenile idiopathic arthritis were estimated by the articular juvenile arthritis damage index (JADI-A) and the extra-articular juvenile arthritis damage index (JADI-E). Descriptive statistics, the Student’s T-test, the Fisher’s exact test and Mann-Whitney U-test were performed. Results. 70 women and 62 men with the disease duration of 13.6±9.3 years at the age of 24.3±8.3 years were included into the study: 12 (9.1%) patients with positive rheumatoid factor polyarthritis, 30 (22.7%) patients - with negative rheumatoid factor polyarthritis, 32 (24.2%) patients with persistent oligoarthritis, 19 (14.4%) patients with extendent oligoarthritis, 20 (15.2%) patients with entesitis-related arthritis and 19 (14.4%) patients with systemic arthritis; there were no patients with psoriatic arthritis. There were no differences between groups in age, disease-modifying antirheumatic drug cumulative dose, mean dose of prednisolone and quality of life according to the SF-36. In Group I, the delay in the diagnosis was more than one year (18.6±24.2 months). In this group, less painful (p

The materials consider the possibility of using hydrogen as a fuel for suburban rolling stock in Ukraine. The analysis of the use of hydrogen fuel in transport in various countries of the world is carried out. One of the main stages of calculating the rolling stock is the construction of its traction characteristic, which largely depends on the type of power plant. Therefore, a model has been developed for constructing traction characteristics of a suburban rolling stock when it is converted to hydrogen fuel. For this purpose, an analysis of power equipment with an energy source from a polymer of an exchange membrane fuel cell and methods of connecting their batteries to blocks is done. The scheme of power transmission for the rolling stock is proposed and its efficiency coefficient is preliminarily calculated. The main technical indicators of suburban rolling stock in Ukraine at the moment and using proton-exchange membrane fuel cells on it are considered. Preliminary consideration is given to the operation parameters of the electric circuit of the rolling stock under various modes of its motion. The traction characteristic of a suburban mobile suction on hydrogen fuel is constructed. The proposed model is implemented in the software product MathLab.
