Objective: The nursing image is built on a tripod of the public, nursing students, and nurses. Determining how each leg of this tripod perceives the nursing is crucial to improving the professional image. This study aimed to determine the nursing image perceptions among nurses at a private hospital group in Istanbul.Material-Method: This descriptive-cross-sectional study was carried out with 428 nurses at four private hospitals affiliated with a foundation university in Istanbul. Data were collected through a random sampling method using a self-administered questionnaire, including a personal information form, and The Image Scale for Nursing Profession. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal Wallis-H variance analysis. Results: Nurses generally perceived the nursing image as positive with a median score of 169 (160-177) out of 210. Nursing image for gender and professional status subscales was perceived more negatively than others, with median scores of 23 (19-28) and 19 (17-22), respectively. Nurses who were female (p=0.007), younger than 22 years (p=0.001), unwilling to re-choose nursing as a career (p=0.001), had professional experience less than a year (p=0.002), and worked more than 55 hours a week (p=0.000) perceived nursing image more negatively.Conclusion: The results of this study showed that nurses working at a private hospital group had positive perceptions of the nursing image at a high level, except in terms of gender and professional status. Reflecting a gender equality perspective on nursing management, employing only undergraduate nurses for nursing, and planning an effective work schedule are recommended., Amaç: Hemşirelik imajı, genel olarak toplum, hemşirelik öğrencileri ve hemşireler olmak üzere üçlü bir saç ayağı üzerine kurulmuştur. Her saç ayağının hemşireliği nasıl algıladığını belirlemek, mesleki imajı geliştirmek için oldukça önemlidir. Bu araştırmada, İstanbul’da özel bir hastane grubunda çalışan hemşirelerin hemşirelik imajı algılarını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.Materyal-Metot: Tanımlayıcı- ilişki arayıcı araştırma, İstanbul’da özel bir vakıf üniversitesine bağlı dört hastanede çalışan 428 hemşire ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, özel bir hastane grubunda çalışan hemşirelerin, cinsiyet ve mesleki durum dışında, hemşirelik imajına ilişkin olumlu algılarının yüksek düzeyde olduğunu göstermiştir. Hemşirelik yönetimine toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği bakış açısının yansıtılması, hemşirelik için sadece lisans hemşirelerin istihdam edilmesi ve etkin bir çalışma takviminin planlanması önerilmektedir.

Amaç: Araştırma, kanser tanısı alan bireylerin hemşire varlığını algılama ile öz bakımda aktiflik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı-ilişki arayıcı tasarımdaki araştırma, Ocak-Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da bir sağlık grubunun hastanelerinde yatarak tedavi alan ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 188 birey ile gerçekleştirildi. Bireysel Özellikler Formu, Hemşire Varlığı Ölçeği ve Hasta Aktiflik Düzeyi Ölçüm Aracı ile veriler toplandı. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Mann Whitney-U testi, Kruskall Wallis analizi ve Spearman korelasyon analizi kullanılarak veriler analiz edildi. Giriş: Metaforlar, bir kavramın açıklanması ya da anlatılması, kavramın daha kolay anlaşılmasını sağlamaktadır. Metafor odaklı çalışmaların hemşirelikte kullanımı ile mesleğin hemşireler tarafından nasıl algılandığının anlaşılmasını ve mesleğin daha iyi analiz edilmesini kolaylaştırmaktadır. Amaç: S Bu çalışmanın amacı, pediatri hemşirelerinin kendi mesleklerine ilişkin algılarını, metaforlar aracılığıyla ortaya çıkarmaktır. Yöntem: Çalışma nitel araştırma yaklaşımlardan biri olan olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) yaklaşımı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Türkiye’de pediatri servislerinde görev yapan 163 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri Google Form aracılığıyla online olarak, 6 Temmuz-1 Eylül 2020 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Verilerinin toplanmasında kullanılan veri toplama formu, katılımcıların tanıtıcı bilgilerini ve pediatri hemşireliğini nasıl algıladıklarını içeren “Pediatri hemşiresi… gibidir, çünkü…” metafor cümlesinin yer aldığı iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde “içerik analizi tekniği” kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerinin yaş ortalaması 30.81±7.16’dır (minimum: 21, maksimum: 55). Pediatri hemşirelerinden toplam 51 farklı metafor elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen metaforlar olumlu, olumsuz ve hem olumlu hem olumsuz olmak üzere üç kategoriye ayrılmıştır. Olumlu kategoride üretilen 23 (%45) metafor; olumsuz kategoride üretilen 14 metafor (%27,5) ve hem olumlu hem olumsuz kategoride ise 14 metafor (%27,5) yer almaktadır. Katılımcıların 10’unun, pediatri hemşireliği ile ilgili belirtmiş olduğu ifadenin metafor özelliği taşımadığı saptanmıştır. Metaforların gerekçeleri incelendiğinde ise; olumlu kategoride yer alan metaforların, genellikle pediatri hemşireliğinin anne, baba, teyze gibi algılanarak bakım verici yönünün gerekçelendirildiği belirlenmiştir. Olumsuz kategoride yer alan metaforların, ek iş yüklerinin fazla olması, çalışma saatleri ve koşullarına yönelik gerekçeler olduğu görülmüştür. Hem olumlu hem olumsuz kategoride yer alan metaforların gerekçeleri ise pediatri hemşireliğinin çalışma koşullarının yorucu ve yıpratıcı olmasına rağmen çocuklarla birlikte çalışmanın olumlu duyguları ile ilgili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, pediatri hemşirelerinin çoğunluğunun olumlu kategoride yer alan metafor ürettiği belirlenmiştir. Pediatri hemşirelerinin mesleki beklentilerinin belirlenmesi, mesleki motivasyonlarının artırılması için çalışma şartlarının iyileştirilmesi önerilebilir.

Neonatal intensive care nurses have faced additional difficulties in adapting to a new work environment with a stressful situation brought about by the pandemic. The aim of this study is to evaluate the experiences of nurses working in neonatal intensive care units during the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Experiences were determined using phenomenology, a form of qualitative research. The study involved 14 neonatal intensive care nurses. The data were analyzed on the MAXQDA qualitative data analysis software in accordance with Colaizzi's 7-step method. Four themes were identified after the interviews: the experiences related to working conditions, neonatal care, psychosocial effect, and social life. In addition, 17 subthemes were created. The study revealed that neonatal intensive care nurses experienced physical, psychological, and social difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is thought that these results have become even more important to reduce the workload of nurses and to increase the quality of nursing care, especially in times of crisis such as pandemics.

Since the time of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, data obtained by nurses in relation to patient diagnosis have become the most important source in planning care. These data have now been transferred to electronic media. Electronic health records have increased the quality and safety of care, as well as helping establish accessible and holistic health records. In this process, while nurses try to rapidly adapt to the electronic health record system, they also experience work stress due to the difficult workflow and time pressure. However, in the current period of rapid digitalization, nurse informaticsts, with their increased skills and observation of user experiences, can be the key health personnel for every institution to develop and improve electronic health records.

Son yıllarda teknolojinin kullanımının giderek artması ile birlikte sosyal medya platformlarının kullanımı da artmıştır. Bu çalışma, 6-24 ay bebeği olan annelerin ek besin tercihlerinde sosyal medya kullanma durumları ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini, Ekim 2020-Ocak 2021 tarihleri arasında 6-24 ay arasında bebeği olan 193 anne oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında Anne/Bebek Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Ek Besin Tercihinde Sosyal Medya Kullanımı Soru Formu ve Sosyal Medya Kullanım Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan annelerin yaş ortalaması 29,46±4,62’dir. Annelerin en çok %64,2’sinin ek besin türlerini, %59,1’inin ek besin hazırlarken dikkat edilecek durumlar, %64,2’sinin bir yaşından önce ve sonra verilebilecek ek besinleri araştırdığı saptanmıştır. Annelerin sosyal medya kullanma ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ortalaması 32,41±11,65’dir (min.10, maks.57). Background: Fever is one of the most common problems of childhood, which worries mothers. An insufficient level of knowledge about when and how to intervene in fever causes children to be exposed to inadequate and/or wrong practices and to use unnecessary or improper doses of antipyretics and antibiotics Aim: In this study, it was aimed to examine the fever management and rational drug use of mothers with children under six years old. Material and Method: The research is of descriptive type. It was conducted with 276 mothers between January and March 2021.Introductory Information Form, Parental Fever Management Scale (PFMS) and Rational Drug Use Scale (RDUS) were used. The data were analyzed by number and percentage distribution, mean standard deviation, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis and correlation test. Results: It was determined that 25% of the mothers participating in the study were 30 years old and younger. The mean total score for PFMS is 28.71±3.86; RDU scale is 39.28±3.18. There was a statistically significant difference between the mothers taking their children to the doctor to fever, the children being hospitalized due to high fever before, the children having convulsions due to fever, and measuring the fever of the children when they got a fever, and the total score of the parental fever management scale. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the education level of the mothers, the place of residence, income level, and the total score of the rational drug use scale and getting information from someone when fever occurred. Conclusion: Based on the result of this study, It was determined that the mothers had good fever management and had rational knowledge of drug use. In addition, mothers' education level, place of residence, income level and the fact that they receive information from someone during febricity increase the knowledge of rational drug use. Therefore, it can be suggested that education programs for mothers on fever management and rational drug use.

Background: Communication and collaboration with colleagues are crucial for new graduate nurses (NGNs) because of the adaptation to both the healthcare system and professional role. Therefore, working units with effective collaboration among nurses may increase new graduates' work readiness. Aim: This study aimed to determine the relationship between the perceptions of nurse–nurse collaboration and the work readiness level among NGNs. Methodology: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out with 198 NGNs in four private hospitals affiliated with a university. A self-administered questionnaire, including a personal information form, the Nurse–Nurse Collaboration Scale, and Work Readiness Scale, was used to collect data. Data analysis was performed using descriptive tests, and Spearman's rank correlation coefficients. Results: NGNs had moderate perceptions of nurse–nurse collaboration, with a median score of 2.46 (2.23–2.88) out of 4. Work readiness among NGNs was moderate, with a median score of 304 (270–332) out of 460. Background: The quality of communication and collaboration with colleagues, managers, and physicians affects the intention to leave a job and the profession for new graduate nurses (NGNs). New graduates have difficulties communicating and collaborating with physicians, especially. Aim: This study aimed to determine the relationship between the attitudes of nurse-physician collaboration and the levels of intention to leave the current job and professional commitment among NGNs. Methodology: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out with 231 NGNs in four private hospitals affiliated with an university. Data were collected by using a self-administered questionnaire, including a personal information form, the Jefferson Scale of Attitudes towards Physician-Nurse Collaboration, Intention to Leave Scale, and Nursing Professional Commitment Scale. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, and Spearman's rank correlation coefficients. Results: NGNs had a high positive attitude towards nurse-physician collaboration with a median score of 49 (45-54). The professional commitment of NGNs was high level with a median score of 75 (69-86). The intention to leave the current job median score was 3 (2.3-3.6) out of 5. There was a statistically significant correlation between attitudes towards nurse-physician collaboration and the levels of intention to leave the current job (r(s) = -0.22; p < 0.01) and professional commitment (r(s )= 0.42; p < 0.01). The aim of this study is to examine the social media and technology use of mothers during breastfeeding.Descriptive cross-sectional study. The study was carried out with mothers who brought their children for follow-up in the pediatric outpatient clinics of a public hospital, a university hospital and a private hospital located in Turkey. A questionnaire developed «ad hoc» was used for data collection.The total sample consisted of 275 mothers (n = 275). Mothers participating in the study 89.8% of the mothers used social media, 86.5% sought on the reliability of the information on the internet, 73.8% used the medical information on the internet to decide on any case about breastfeeding and 66.9% of them used cell phone or computer during breastfeeding. A statistically significant difference was determined between the education level of the mothers and social media use (plt; 0.05). It was determined that the mothers who were secondary school graduate and those with three or more children talked on a cell phone while breastfeeding.Most of the mothers used social media and technology at a level limiting their interaction with their children. It is recommended to protect mothers from digital addiction and improve their digital literacy levels.

Background: Different simulation strategies are used to improving to critical thinking and self-efficacy skills, but evidence is limited about which provides better outcomes. Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of different simulation methods on the self-efficacy and critical thinking skills of students during pain management. Methods: This was an experimental study. The students were divided randomly into an experimental (High fidelity = 23, Standardized Patient = 23) experiencing simulation and control groups (Control = 25) having traditional teaching program. All students were complete the study instruments pretest and posttest. Results: There was no significant difference found between the groups for critical thinking disposition, self-efficacy, simulation performance, and knowledge level (p > .05). The self-efficacy post-test scores of the students in the control group were lower than the pre-test scores (Z = -2.291, p = .022). A moderate correlation was found between critical thinking and self-efficacy post-test scores, respectively of all groups (p < .001). Conclusion: In this study, no differences in outcomes were identified between the simulation methods and traditional teaching methods. Background: Patients receiving hemodialysis treatment are among the risk groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. They must cope with many factors simultaneously like anxiety about being ill, social isolation, inadequate information about protective precautions, and the need to attend regular treatment. Objectives: This study was performed with the aim of determining problems experienced by individuals receiving hemodialysis treatment during the pandemic. Design: This was a descriptive and cross-sectional type study. Participants: The research included 234 patients receiving chronic hemodialysis treatment. Measurements: For collection of data in the research, a patient descriptive information form and COVID-19 phobia scale (CP19-S) scale were used. Results: Patients receiving hemodialysis treatment were determined to have high levels of compliance with individual precautions required during the pandemic. Of patients, 87.6% were determined to experience concern about bringing infection from the dialysis unit to family members. The mean total points for CP19-S were 59.80 ± 14.49. Patients who were female, had low educational level, were not employed, had heart disease in addition to kidney failure, with hemodialysis age from 6 to 8 years, who did not want to go to the dialysis center and had not received education about the pandemic (p < 0.001) were identified to have high phobia at statistically significant levels. Conclusions: Changes occurring in normal life and to hemodialysis treatment during the pandemic cause concern and anxiety in many patients. In this process, providing patients with education about the pandemic and protective methods is very important.

Objective: Currently, nurses representing Baby Boomer, X and Y generations provide health care services to individuals in their own or other generations. This point of the view, the study was conducted with the aim of comparing the nursing image perceptions of individuals from different generations. Materials and Methods: The descriptive-cross-sectional study was completed with 2426 individuals attending as outpatients and relatives in a private hospital group between January and June 2017 in Istanbul. Data were collected with a survey form comprising Personal Characteristics Form and Nursing Image Scale. Analysis of data used descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis variance analysis. Results: More than half of participants were in generation Y (55.2 %). The median was determined as 64 (47-71) for Nursing Image Scale. The subscale perceived most positively was professional and educational qualities with median of 34 (25-40). Background Burns are a source of pain, which cannot be fully treated with medications. Objectives This study aims is to test the effectiveness of lavender oil inhalation aromatherapy applied before dressing change on vital signs and pain levels of children with burns. Design This randomized controlled study was held between May 2018 and May 2019. A total of 108 children who met the inclusion criteria were studied in three groups: Lavender-15 Group inhaled lavender oil for 15 min before dressing (n:36), Lavender-60 Group inhaled lavender oil for 60 min before dressing (n:36), and Control Group inhaled jojoba (placebo) oil for 15 min before dressing (n:36). Baseline pain levels and vital signs of the children were measured before inhalation. Pain levels and vital signs of the children were re-measured at the 1st and 30th minutes after dressing. Results There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of pain levels (p = 0.750) and vital signs before dressing. In post-dressing measurements, the number of respiration (after 1 min p = 0.000, after 30 min p = 0.000), heart rate (after 1 min p = 0.000, after 30 min p = 0.000), mean arterial blood pressure (after 1 min p = 0.010, after 30 min p = 0.000) and pain levels (after 1 min p = 0.000, after 30 min p = 0.000) were lower in the Lavender groups compared to the placebo group. Discussion The result of this research reveals that inhalation aromatherapy which applied before dressing in children with burns affects the reduction of pain levels and stabilization of vital signs.

AMAÇ: Araştırma, eğitimlerinin büyük bir bölümünü uy-gulamada geçiren ve atık ayrıştırılmasında etkin görev alan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin bilgi düzeylerinin belirlen-mesi amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. GEREÇ VE YÖNTEM: Araştırma bir vakıf üniversitesinin hemşirelik bölümünde okuyan, klinik uygulama deneyi-mi olan ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü 195 öğrenciyle tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Verilerin toplanmasında birey-sel özelliklerin belirlenmesine yönelik 8 adet açık uçlu soru ve hastane atık yönetimine yönelik 20 adet çoktan seçmeli sorudan oluşan bilgi formu kullanıldı. Verilerin analizi SPSS 21 paket programında sıklık, yüzde, Mann Whitney-U ve Krusskal Wallis testleri ile yapıldı. BULGULAR: Araştırmada öğrencilerin yaş ortalamasının 20,6±1,49 olduğu, %93,8’inin kadın ve %46,1’inin 2.sınıf-ta eğitim gördüğü, tamamına yakınının devlet ya da özel hastanede klinik uygulama yaptığı saptandı. Öğrenci-lerin %91,1’inin hastane atık yönetimine yönelik eğitim aldığı belirlenirken, bu eğitimi %72,8’inin hemşirelerden, %63,1’i eğiticilerden ve %72,3’ünün klinik uyum eğitim-lerinden aldığı belirlendi. Öğrencilerin hastane atık yöne-timine yönelik bilgi formundan aldıkları toplam ortalama puanları 12,91±2,66 olarak belirlenmiş olup 2. sınıfta öğ-renim gören öğrencilerin en yüksek puana sahip olduğu (12,57±2,38) saptandı. Yaş (p=0,002), cinsiyet (p=0,006) ve sınıf (p=0,028) özellikleri açısından bilgi sıralamaların-da istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülürken, di-ğer bireysel özelliklere göre anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı saptandı. SONUÇ: Araştırmamızdan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultu-sunda; öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun atık yönetimi konu-sunda eğitim aldığı, hastane atık yönetimine yönelik bilgi düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu ve üst sınıflara doğru bilgi düzeylerinin azaldığı belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda öğrencilerin bilgi düzeylerini arttırmak üzere eğitimle-rin tüm sınıflarda sürdürülmesi, uygulama alanlarında gözlemlenmesi ve ara değerlendirmelerle bu durumun saptanmasına yönelik aktivitelerin planlanması öneril-mektedir. OBJECTIVE: The study was conducted on the purpose of determining the level of knowledge about waste mana-gement of nursing students who spend the large part of the education period on clinical practice and take charge about waste parsing efficiently. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The descriptive study was conducted with 195 students who were from the nur-sing department in a private university, the experience was for a clinical practice and the students accepted to participate in this study voluntarily. The information form which included 8 open-ended questions for determining individuals characteristics and 20 multiple choice ques-tions for determining hospital waste management was used to collect data. Frequency , percentage, chi-square, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskall Wallis tests were used to analyze the results. RESULTS: When the students characteristics were exa-mined, it was found that their average age were (was) 20.6±1.49, 93.8% were females and 46.1% had the 2nd-grade education. Almost all the students were de-termined to have experience in clinical practice whet-her in state and (or) private hospitals. While 91.1% of the students stated that they had received a hospital trai-ning from nurses, 63.1% an educator, 72.3% from clinical adaptation training while it was determined that the to-tal average score was obtained from the information qu-estions was 12.91±2.66. The students who had education in 2nd grade, had the highest score(12.57±2.38) While statistically a significant difference was found according to the age (p=0.002), gender(p=0.006), and the educati-on grade (p=0,028), No significant difference was found according to the other characteristics. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the results which were obtai-ned on (from) our research, it is determined that most of the students received education on waste management , the knowledge level of waste management was inter-mediate and the knowledge level was decreased towards upper classes. In this context, with intent to increase the knowledge level of the students, it is suggested to main-tain all education in every classes, to observe in applica-tion areas and to plan activities for determination of the situation.

Pay sahipliğinin devri devreden ve devralanın iradeleri sonucunda gerçekleşeceği gibi iradeleri dışında cebri icra yoluyla da gerçekleşebilecektir. Cebri icra yoluyla payların devri; haczedilen, rehnedilen, hapis hakkı kurulan paylar veya miras yoluyla kalan ve iradi şekilde paylaştırılamayan paylar bakımından söz konusu olmaktadır. Bu payların devri, açık artırma usulünde ihale anı, pazarlık usulünde satış anı ile gerçekleşecektir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın birinci bölümünde genel olarak halka açık ve halka kapalı anonim ortaklığa değinilerek pay kavramı, pay sahipliği ve pay sahipliği sıfatının devren ve aslen kazanılması halleri açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca pay ayrımı yöntemleri, pay türleri ele alınarak, anonim ortaklık payları, senede bağlanmış paylar, senede bağlanmamış paylar ve ilmühabere bağlanmış paylar olarak incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde pay devrine ve cebri icra hukukuna ilişkin genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Payın devri ele alınırken pay türleri bakımından uygulanan devir usulleri farklılık gösterdiğinden her bir pay türü bakımından devir usulü ayrıca açıklanmıştır. Payın devir yollarından biri olan anonim ortaklık payının cebri icra yoluyla devrinin daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için, cebri icra hukukuna ilişkin genel bilgiler de bu bölümde işlenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde anonim ortaklık payının cebri icra yolu ile devri incelenerek, payın haciz yoluyla devri, payın hapis hakkı kullanımı ile devri, rehnedilmiş payın devri ve son olarak miras kalan payın iradi şekilde paylaşılamaması nedeniyle; payın mahkeme kararı ile devri incelenmiştir. Çalışmamız yasal mevzuat ve yargı içtihatları ışığında ele alınmıştır. In joint-stock companies, shareholders gain a saying in partnership through shareholding and participate in the management of the partnership. For his reason, share transfer has a great importance for joint stock companies. Share transfer can happen as a result of the shareholders' free will, it can also ocur against their will, through compulsory execution. Transfer of shares through forced execution occurs for the shares that are foreclosed, pledged, established with the right to imprisonment or for the shares that cannot be shared in the inherited will. The transfer of these shares shall be realized by auction moment in auction procedure and sale moment in bargaining procedure. In this respect, in the first part of our study, the concept of share, ownership and acquisition of the title of shareholding and the acquisition of the title of shareholding are explained by referring to the publicly held and closed joint stock company in general. Also,with respect to share types, the methods of share allocation are analyzed through the separation of joint-stock shares, documented shares, undocumented shares and certified shares. In the second section, general information about transfer of shares and forced enforcement law is presented. Since the transfer procedures applied in terms of share types differ when dealing with the transfer of shares, the transfer procedure is explained separately for each type of share. In order to provide a better understanding of the transfer of shares, which is one of the ways of transfer of shares, by compulsory execution, general information on compulsory enforcement law is also given in this section. In the third section, with an exploration of joint-stock share transfer through forced execution, share transfer through foreclosure, share transfer by use of the right of imprisonment, transfer of pledged shares and finally the transfer of inherited shares with court decision due to impossibility of its voluntary share are analyzed. Our study is addressed in light of legal legislation and jurisprudence.

Naming a person has an important place among the Turks’ old traditions. As mentioned in the Turkish epics and legends, the young would not be accepted as the member of the clan until they showed acts of heroism and also they would not be called by other names except for their given name by their fathers. Because 6317 people were martyred and they showed resistance to the French for nearly a year under difficult conditions during the defence of Antep, the city was given the title “Ghazi” by The Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 6, February, 1921 and thus the citizens of Antep were honoured, which shows similarity to the mentioned traditions of naming. Considering today’s conditions, bringing holiness to the place with the honorary title for war veterans (Ghazi) and honouring the public were realized for the purpose of establishing a nation and nation-state. However, it is not correct to perceive this change experienced with the settlement names during the re-establishment of the nation as a condition unique to the Turks and Turkic countries. The nations that have gained their independence or have been fighting for their independence usually apply similar practices and they make an effort to adjust the names of the places and settlements suitable to themselves to show that they dominate the region. This study which discusses the effects of the Antep Defence on the settlement names and the reflections of this effect on the space via benefiting from Geographical Information System tried to analyse the relationship between the settlement names-events-space. Acquiring new approaches for the research studies carried out about the space via geographical information systems, the scarcity of the number of the studies carried out by the geographers despite the increasing number of the research studies carried out about the settlement names in recent years and the strong influence of the Antep Defence on the settlement names constitute the rationales for the research to be carried out. The fact that the effect of the Antep Defence on the names of the city and the two central districts, nearly 3% of the neighbourhoods of the city and 0,25% of the total number of the streets constitute the concrete evidence of this strong influence., Antep Savunması süresince 6317 şehit verilmesi ve zor şartlar altında bir yılı aşkın bir süre boyunca Fransızlara karşı büyük bir direniş gösterilmiş olması nedeniyle TBMM tarafından 6 Şubat 1921'de şehre "Gazilik" unvanı verilerek Antep halkının onurlandırılması, eski Türk devletlerindeki ad verme geleneğiyle benzerlik göstermektedir. Günümüz şartları açısından bakıldığında ise, gazilik unvanı ile mekâna kutsallık kazandırılması ve halkın onurlandırılması, ulus ve ulus devlet inşa etme amacına yönelikti. Ancak vatanın yeniden inşası sürecinde yerleşme adlarında görülen değişimi sadece Türklere ve Türk devletlerine özgü bir durum olarak algılamak doğru değildir. Bağımsızlığı yeni elde etmiş veya elde etme mücadelesi veren uluslar, genellikle benzer uygulamalara başvurmakta ve bölgeye hâkim olduklarını göstermek amacıyla yer ve yerleşme adlarını kendilerine uygun hale getirme çabası içerisine girmektedirler. Antep Savunması’nın yerleşme adları üzerindeki etkisinin ve Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri’nden yararlanılarak bu etkinin mekân üzerindeki yansımasının ele alındığı çalışmada, yerleşme adları-olay-mekân ilişkisi analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemlerinin, mekân üzerinde yapılacak araştırmalara yeni yaklaşımlar kazandırması, son yıllarda yerleşme adları konusunda yürütülen araştırmalarda görülen artışa rağmen coğrafyacılar tarafından yapılan araştırmaların sayıca azlığı ve Antep Savunması’nın yerleşme adları üzerindeki güçlü etkisi, çalışmanın yapılmasındaki gerekçeleri oluşturmaktadır. Amaç: Geleceğin hemşirelerine sürekli değişen ve gelişen dünya düzeni içinde mesleğin varlığını koruyabilecek ve sürdürebilecek nitelikleri kazandırmak son derece önemlidir. Bu fikirden yola çıkılarak gerçekleştirilen çalışmada, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin bireysel yenilikçilik davranışları ile otonomi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı-ilişki arayıcı nitelikteki çalışma, İstanbul’da bir vakıf üniversitesinin hemşirelik bölümünde öğrenim gören 283 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirildi. Bireysel Bilgi Formu, Bireysel Yenilikçilik Ölçeği ve Sosyotropi-Otonomi ölçeğinin alt boyutu Otonomi Ölçeği’nden oluşan anket formu ile veriler toplandı. Tanımlayıcı testler, Mann Whitney- U testi, Kruskal Wallis analizi ve Spearman korelasyon analizi kullanılarak veriler değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin Bireysel Yenilikçilik Ölçeği’den aldıkları puan ortalamasının 65.26±8.66 ve Otonomi Ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ortalamasının 81.23±18.18 olduğu belirlendi. Purpose: The aim of this study is to perform a comparison of the personality characteristics of nursing students and their status regarding tattoos and piercings. Materials and Methods: The sample of this descriptive study consisted of the students of the nursing departments of one private and one public university in the year 2016-2017 (n=718). Data for the study was collected using an Information Form and the Hacettepe Personality Inventory via face to face interviews. Results: 8.9% of the students were found to have tattoos, and 11% were found to have piercings. When the mean scores taken by the participants from the Hacettepe Personality Inventory were compared according to their status regarding having tattoos and piercings, a statistically significant difference to the advantage of those without tattoos was found in the social adaptation dimension. No differences in the Hacettepe Personality Inventory mean scores of the students were found according to their status regarding having piercings. Conclusion: A majority of the students were found to not have tattoos and piercings. No significant difference could be found between the tattoo/piercing statuses of the students and their personality characteristics. These results are thought to be related to the cultural values the students were raised with and the dynamics of the society they live in., Amaç:. Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin kişilik özellikleri ile dövme-piercing yaptırma durumlarını karşılaştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı olarak yapılan bu araştırmanın örneklemini bir vakıf ve bir devlet üniversitesinde 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında tüm sınıflarda öğrenim gören 718 öğrenci oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan yapılandırılmış bilgi formu ve Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri kullanılarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile toplandı. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %8,9’unun dövme, %11,’sinin ise piercing yaptırdığı belirlendi. Hacettepe Kişilik Envanterinden öğrencilerin aldıkları ortalama puanlar incelendiğinde, sosyal uyum boyutunda dövme yaptırmayan öğrencilerin, ortalama puanlarının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlendi. Öğrencilerin piercing yaptırma durumlarına göre ise Hacettepe kişilik envanterinden aldıkları puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin büyük bir çoğunluğunun dövme veya piercing yaptırmadığı belirlenirken, kişilik özellikleri ile dövme veya piercing yaptırma durumları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı. Bu sonucun öğrencilerin yetiştiği kültürel değerle ve içinde bulunduğu toplumun dinamikleriyle alakalı olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Introduction: In this retrospective study, we aimed to determine the risk factors for coronary artery bypass surgery in patients under 45 years of age, and evaluate the early postoperative results and the effect of gender. Methods: A total of 324 patients under 45 years of age who undergone on-pump coronary artery bypass surgery between April 12, 2004 and January 10, 2012 were included to the study. Patients divided into groups as follows: Group 1 consisted of 269 males (mean age 41.3), Group 2 consisted of 55 females (mean age 41.6). Preoperative risk factors, intraoperative and postoperative data and early mortality rates of the groups were compared. Results: Smoking rate was significantly higher in Group 1. Diabetes mellitus incidence and body mass index were significantly higher in Group 2 (P values P=0.01; P=0.0001; P=0.04 respectively). The aortic cross-clamping and cardiopulmonary bypass time and number of grafts per patient were significantly higher in Group 1 (P values P=0.04; P=0.04; P=0.002 respectively). There were no deaths in either group. Conclusion: We found that gender has no effect on early mortality rates of the coronary bypass surgery patients under 45 years. Introdução: Este estudo retrospectivo teve como objetivo determinar os fatores de risco para cirurgia de revascularização do miocárdio em pacientes com menos de 45 anos de idade e avaliar os resultados pós-operatórios precoces e o efeito do gênero. Métodos: Um total de 324 pacientes com menos de 45 anos de idade, que submeteram à cirurgia de revascularização miocárdica entre 12 de abril de 2004 e 10 de janeiro de 2012 foram incluídos no estudo. Os pacientes divididos em dois grupos: Grupo 1, composto por 269 homens (idade média 41,3 anos), Grupo 2, composto por 55 mulheres (idade média 41,6 anos). Fatores de risco pré-operatórios, dados intraoperatórios e pós-operatórios e mortalidade precoce dos grupos foram comparados. Resultados: A taxa de tabagismo foi significativamente maior no grupo 1. Incidência de diabetes mellitus e massa corporal foram significativamente maiores no grupo 2 (valor de P: P=0,01, P=0,0001, P=0,04, respectivamente). O pinçamento aórtico e tempo de circulação extracorpórea e número de enxertos por paciente foi significativamente maior no grupo 1 (valor de P: P=0,04, P=0,04, P=0,002, respectivamente). Não ocorreram mortes em ambos os grupos. Conclusão: O gênero não tem efeito sobre as taxas de mortalidade precoce dos pacientes de cirurgia de revascularização do miocárdio com menos de 45 anos.

Amaç: Bu sistematik inceleme, hemşirelik eğitiminde simülasyon kullanımının sonuçlarını değerlendiren çalışmaları sistematik olarak incelemek amacıyla planlanmıştır.Yöntem: Bu çalışmanın evrenini Nisan-Temmuz 2013 tarihinde CINAHL Plus, Medline, Health Source: Nurse/Akademic Education veri tabanları ile Google Scholar ve digital tez kaynaklarından taranarak ulaşılan 545 makale oluşturmuştur. İncelemede “simulation”, “nursing education” ve “simulation in nursing” anahtar kelimeleriyle son on yılda yayınlanmış (Nisan 2003- Temmuz 2013), yayın dili Türkçe ya da İngilizce olan ve tam metni bulunan makaleler seçilmiştir. Bu makalelerden araştırma kriterlerini karşılayan toplam 15 çalışma incelemenin örneklemini oluşturmuştur.Bulgular: Hemşirelik eğitiminde simülasyon kullanımını ilişkin çalışmaların sistematik incelemesi, bilgi-beceri ve etkili iletişim-eleştirel düşünme-klinik karar vermeyi değerlendiren araştırmalar olarak iki grup altında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmaya dahil edilen makalelerde deneysel, yarı deneysel ve tanımlayıcı-ilişki arayıcı araştırma tasarımlarının kullanıldığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmaların 7’sinde, hemşirelik bilgi ve becerilerinin kazandırılmasında simülasyon ile eğitimin etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca 10 araştırmada da simülasyon ile eğitimden sonra öğrencilerin etkili iletişim, eleştirel düşünme, öz etkililik ve öz güven düzeylerinde artma saptanmıştır.Sonuç: Hemşirelik eğitiminde simülasyonun, öğrenciye bilgi ve beceri kazandırmasının yanı sıra etkili iletişim, eleştirel düşünme, öz etkililik ve öz güvenin de gelişmesine katkı sağlayan bir öğrenme yöntemi olduğu görülmektedir., Aim: This systematic review is planned to investigate systematically the studies that evaluated the results of the use of simulation in nursing education.Method: The population of this study is consisted of 545 articles from accessed by searching on “CINAHL Plus”, “Medline”,” Health Source: Nurse / Academic Edition” and “Google Scholar” databases and “Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissestations” sources in dates between April a July 2013. In this review, the articles were selected as full text by searching with “simulation”, “nursing education” and “simulation in nursing” key words and they were published in English and Turkish languages in the last decade (April 2003-July 2013).Total 15 studies of these articles that meet the research’s criteria have occurred the sample of the review.Results: Systematic review of the studies that evaluated simulation in nursing education were divided into two groups as studies that are evaluating the knowledge-skills and critical thinking-clinical decision making. In this review, experimental, quasiexperimental and descriptive-correlational research designs were used often for the studies. In the seven researches, simulation training have been identifi ed to be effective in gaining of nursing knowledge and skills. Also, in ten studies, were determined an increase the level of student’s critical thinking, self-effi cacy and self-confi dence, after training with simulation. Conclusion: The simulation in nursing education, is observed a learning method is contributing to the development critical thinking, self effi cacy and self confi dence besides gaining knowledge and skills to students.Key Words: Nursing education, simulation, simulation in nursing

In this retrospective study, we investigated the demographic data and evaluated our early postoperative results of premenopausal and postmenopausal females who underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG).A total of 730 female patients who underwent CABG between April 2004 and January 2012 were included in the study. Patients were divided into two groups based on whether they were pre- (group 1) or postmenopausal (group 2). The groups were compared in terms of the demographic and peri-operative parameters.Smoking and the preoperative hematocrit levels were higher in group 1, whereas the incidence of hypertension and obesity and the European system for cardiac operative risk evaluation values were higher in group 2 (p values0.01;0.01;0.01; 0.004 and0.01 respectively). The utilization of a left internal mammary artery graft and the postoperative drainage volumes were higher in group 1; however, the number of grafts per patient, cardiopulmonary bypass duration, number of patients who needed inotropic support, blood transfusion volumes, the duration of ventilatory support and the hospital stay were higher in group 2 (p values 0.038; 0.040; 0.026; 0.032; 0.014; 0.001;0.01 and0.01, respectively).Although the mortality rates were not significantly different, postmenopausal patients require more intensive postoperative care in comparison to premenopausal patients following CABG.

In this study, we aimed to identify the factors influencing the use of ambulance among patients admitted to two Turkish hospitals with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Overall, 330 with a mean age of 55±13 years, hospitalized patients with ACS at 2 different hospitals were included in this prospective cohort study. The factors influencing the use of ambulance hospital were investigated through a questionnaire. The comparisons were made between two groups regarding use of ambulance. The predictors of the use of ambulance were determined using multiple logistic regression analysis.Despite the high rate of knowing the emergency service number of "112", of the 330 patents, only 96 (29%) used ambulance. Ambulance users had shorter arrival duration with median of 60 min vs 120 min (p=0.03). Presenting with ST elevation myocardial infarction (OR=3.127, 95% CI: 1.555-6.2877, p0.001), severity of chest pain (OR=2.665, 95% CI: 1.938-3.665, p0.001), presence of accompanying symptoms such as dyspnea (OR= 5.510, 95% CI: 2.614-11.614, p0.001), dizziness (OR=4.172, 95% CI: 1.901-9.154, p0.001) and vomiting (OR=3.756, 95% CI: 1.521-9.272, p=0.004), knowledge of cardiac risk factors (OR=10.512, 95% CI: 4.497-24.572, p0.001) or chest pain related to heart attack and the importance of quickly seeking for medical care by calling ambulance (OR= 4.184, 95% CI: 2.528-6.926, p0.001) are the factors associated with ambulance use.Using ambulance was in a very low rate among our study patients with ACS. Severity of symptoms, type of ACS and knowledge are seemed to be related with increased ambulance use. Informative health educational programs can be organized to achieve a behavioral change in using of ambulance.AMAÇ: Ambulans kullanılması akut koroner sendromlu (AKS) hastaların hastaneye nakli sırasında sadece hızlı değil, aynı zamanda güvenilir ulaşım şeklidir. Bu çalışma AKS tanısı ile iki ayrı merkeze başvuran hastalarda ambulans kullanımını etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. YÖNTEMLER: Türkiye’de 2 ayrı hastanede AKS tanısı ile hastaneye yatırılan ve yaş ortalaması 55±13 olan toplam 330 hasta bu prospektif kohort çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Hastaların hastaneye ulaşım şeklini etkileyen faktörler bir anket formu aracılığıyla araştırılmıştır. Hastalar ambulans kullanıp kullanmadıklarına göre iki gruba ayrılarak karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Ambulans kullanımını belirleyen faktörler çoklu lojistik regresyon analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir.Acil servis numarası “112”nin yüksek oranda biliniyor olmasına rağmen, 330 hastanın sadece 96’sı (%29) ambulans kullanırken, geri kalan 234 (%71) hasta kendi ulaşımını sağlamıştır. Ambulans kullananların hastaneye ulaşım süreleri (ortanca 120 dakikaya karşılık 60 dakika olarak) daha kısa olmuştur (p=0,03). ST yükselmeli miyokart enfarktüsü ile başvurma (OR=3,127, %95 GA: 1,555-6,2877, p0,001), göğüs ağrısının şiddetli olması (OR=2,665, %95 GA: 1,938-3.665, p0,001), eşlik eden dispne (OR=5,510, %95 GA: 2,614-11,614, p0,001), baş dönmesi (OR=4,172, %95 GA: 1.901-9.154, p0,001) ve kusma (OR=3,756, %95 GA: 1,521-9,272, p=0,004) gibi semptomların bulunması, kardiyak risk faktörlerini biliyor olmak (OR=10,512, %95 GA: 4,497-24,572, p0,001) ve kalp krizi ile ilişkili olan göğüs ağrısını ve bu durumda hızlıca tıbbi yardım için ambulans çağrılmasının önemini biliyor olmak (OR=4,184, %95 GA: 2,528-6,926, p0,001) ambulans kullanımını belirleyen faktörlerdir. SONUÇ: Türkiye’de AKS’da hastaların hastaneye ulaşım için ambulans kullanımı oldukça düşük orandadır. Semptomların ciddiyeti, AKS tipi ve bilgi düzeyi ambulans kullanımını arttıran faktörler olarak görülmektedir. Hastalarda ambulans kullanımına yönelik davranışsal değişiklik oluşturmak ve ambulans kullanımını arttırmak için aydınlatıcı sağlık eğitim programları düzenlenebilir.

We investigate the 3.45-eV luminescence band of spontaneously formed GaN nanowires on Si(111) by photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence spectroscopy. This band is found to be particularly prominent for samples synthesized at comparatively low temperatures. At the same time, these samples exhibit a peculiar morphology, namely, isolated long nanowires are interspersed within a dense matrix of short ones. Cathodoluminescence intensity maps reveal the 3.45-eV band to originate primarily from the long nanowires. Transmission electron microscopy shows that these long nanowires are either Ga polar and are joined by an inversion domain boundary with their short N-polar neighbors, or exhibit a Ga-polar core surrounded by a N-polar shell with a tubular inversion domain boundary at the core/shell interface. For samples grown at high temperatures, which exhibit a uniform nanowire morphology, the 3.45-eV band is also found to originate from particular nanowires in the ensemble and thus presumably from inversion domain boundaries stemming from the coexistence of N- and Ga-polar nanowires. For several of the investigated samples, the 3.45-eV band splits into a doublet. We demonstrate that the higher-energy component of this doublet arises from the recombination of two-dimensional excitons free to move in the plane of the inversion domain boundary. In contrast, the lower-energy component of the doublet originates from excitons localized in the plane of the inversion domain boundary.
