Introduction: Healthcare workers continue to be a population at risk of vaccine-preventable diseases. The overall aim of our study was to contribute to the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases among healthcare workers in Abidjan university teaching hospitals., Material and Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted over a 6-month period among healthcare workers in Abidjan's university teaching hospitals. Data were collected using two survey forms sent to the staff and management of the university hospitals. The data were processed using Epi info 7 software., Results: One thousand seventeen (1017) workers out of a population of 2550 participated in the study: 54.6% were women with an average age of 36 ± 6 years. They were represented by physicians in 47.7% of cases and had an average professional seniority of 7 ± 5 years. Coverage rates by infectious agent were: 53.1% (hepatitis B), 16.5% (influenza), 67.9% (tetanus), 46.6% (typhoid fever), 78.5% (yellow fever), 47.6% (meningitis). Most of the vaccination costs were covered by the caregivers themselves., Conclusion: The study of vaccination coverage among UHC nursing staff revealed low levels overall. Objective: To describe the epidemiological characteristics of occupational accidents occurring in 2022 among workers at a cashew nut processing plant in Côte d'Ivoire., Material and Method: We conducted a retrospective descriptive study of occupational accidents occurring between January 1 and December 31, 2022. Data were recorded on a survey form using information from work accident registers and declaration forms., Results: We recorded 211 work-related accidents, most of them involving women (77%) with an average age of 28 ± 8.21 years. The workers most affected were huskers (42.7%), day laborers (92.4%), not affiliated to a social security organization. Work-related accidents per se (95%) occurred between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. (74%), after contact with a chemical substance (32.2%) or intraocular projection of a foreign body (27%). Injuries were superficial trauma and wounds (40.7%), burns (32.3%) and intraocular foreign bodies (25.1%)., Conclusion: Occupational accidents are a reality in cashew nut processing. Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders are the most common occupational disease in the world. They constitute a major health problem., Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out over a period of three months involving the secretaries of the Yopougon University Hospital. The data were collected using a questionnaire inspired by the National Research and Security Institute (INRS) questionnaire., Results: The study found an exclusively female population with an average age of 40.6 years ± 8.6, mostly overweight or obese (71%). Almost half of the secretaries had more than ten years of seniority in the post (44.7%) and the absence of an ergonomic chair was noted in 84% of cases. In this population of 38 secretaries, the prevalence of MSDs was 89.5% with pain as the main symptom (89.5%). The preferred locations for MSDs were the dorsolumbar spine (78.9%) and the cervical spine (57.9%). The study showed a predominance of MSDs in the following populations: overweight secretaries (63.1%); more than ten years in the post (39.6%); poor working posture (68.4%); the use of a non-ergonomic seat (81.6%)., Conclusion: Musculoskeletal disorders are common among secretaries. They are associated with many factors.
