Therefore, consumers are very much informed by various media to be more cautious in visiting shopping malls and spend less time in there. The purpose of this study was to identify the predictors influencing the desire to stay shorter at the shopping mall. This study was conducted in Malaysia, with the application of three psychological theories and one behavioural theory. This is quantitative research based on an online cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected from 296 respondents, by applying the online snowball sampling method through numerous media platforms i.e., Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger, and other apps in three severely affected cities in Malaysia i.e., Selangor state, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur. SmartPLS was used to analyse the data. Using structural equation modelling, this study result shows risk, protection motivation, and fear have a significant effect on the desire to stay a shorter time at the shopping mall. Social norm moderates the association between fear and the desire to spend a shorter time at the shopping mall. These findings, highlight the need for a more empirical study to design more robust strategies, and a safer and risk-free shopping mall environment.

This research examines the factors that affect Photo Voltaic (PV) solar technology’s usage intention in rural households in Bangladesh. The conceptual model for this research was developed according to past studies. There were five hypotheses developed and verified in this study. Cross sectional quantitative method was used in this research. The model was tested using empirical data collected from 209 households. This research mentions that PV solar technology usage intention was predicted by environmental concern, environmental knowledge, adoption cost, awareness, and government initiatives. The model shows a larger proposition (95 %) in the variance of PV solar technology usage in rural households in Bangladesh. According to the results of this study, we have accepted all hypotheses (H1–H5). From a practical perspective, this study’s results provide a guideline for investment decisions for the usage of PV solar technology in Bangladesh.

This study investigates the role of innovativeness and learning orientation on the internationalisation performance of small and medium entrepreneurial firms. Exporting has been the most appropriate mode of expansion into foreign market for SMEs due to lower risk and less resource commitment. The literature insists that future study should pay more attention on how SMEs improve export performance. Review of literature brings to the conclusion that innovativeness and learning orientation are pertinent in building the success of SMEs in export markets. Notwithstanding the existing investigation on the impact of innovativeness on performance, the results are inconclusive, reinforcing the need for investigation in the context of emerging market and SMEs. In addition, learning orientation composed of three dimensions namely managerial commitment, system perspective and openness and experimentation. Previous studies view learning orientation as summate of all three dimensions. Unlike previous studies, this study investigates the effect of each dimension on innovativeness. A conceptual framework was developed based on the resource-based view. Data were collected from small and medium business exporters in the manufacturing sector of an emerging market. A total of 220 respondents participated in this study. Data were analysed using structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses, and the results show that innovativeness is positively related to export performance. In addition, the findings reveal that managerial commitment is a function of innovativeness. System perspective, and openness and experimentation have no significant effect on innovativeness.
