Hybrid organic-silica material modified by amino groups has been investigated as adsorbent of radionuclides 90Sr, 90Y and 137Cs from aqueous solutions. The sorption ability of the organicsilica material in the pH range of 2-9 with thermostating is studied by static sorption method. Analysis of sorption kinetic curves of radionuclides for aminoxerogel has shown that sorption equilibrium is established in 3-3.5 h. It is shown that the mechanisms of radionuclides sorption on the organic-silica material are combined by the complex formation and ion-exchange mechanism. The amino containing organic-silica material can be recommended for the cleaning of surfaces and purification of water solutions contaminated with 90Sr and 90Y. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The problem of developing the new methods of pile installation arises due to the necessity of erection of pile basement in difficult climatic/environmental conditions. The present paper describes the way of driving piles by shooting them into the ground from a specially redesigned single-barrel combat artillery piece. Also the paper presents main technical solutions dedicated to this retrofitting. For shooting piles into the soil we offer the method of pulse indentation and artificial increase of a pile weight, both of them together provide a 2.5-fold increase in penetration compared to a conventional shot. This paper describes the basic configuration and gives a schematic diagram of the piston rammer design as an important part of construction ordnance. The final part of the paper presents the results of practical use of the described patents in building construction and industrial construction at the facilities of Western Siberia, and gives a brief description of the problems currently being solved by the developers of construction artillery in Perm (Russia). The inhibiting activity of thirteen nitrogen and sulfur compounds (ligands, L) in the presence of lead(II) diethyldithiocarbamate (Pb(dtc)2) (1: 1) in the initiated oxidation of ethylbenzene with oxygen at 75°C was studied. Six ligands and Pb(dtc)2 inhibit ethylbenzene oxidation when used individually. The joint use of antioxidants in two out of thirteen cases leads to the enhancement of the inhibiting activity of a pair as compared to that predicted by the rule of mixtures. The formation of new lead(II) complexes ([Pb(dtc)2 L]) was revealed in ethylbenzene, chloroform, and acetonitrile solutions by UV-visible spectrophotometry and anodic polarography for all the L + Pb(dtc)2 pairs due to the coordination of a ligand donor atom to the metal. In the cases of enhancement of the antioxidant activity of the ligands when they were used in combination with Pd(dtc)2 (1: 1), the specificity of the ligand structure was established. This is very important for the selection of inhibiting ligand + metal complex pairs. The tentative structure and parameters of the chelate center of the [Pb(dtc)2 L RO· 2] were given. Quality of life in rural areas as the main goal of rural development and regulation of this process by the state is the compliance of the standard of living of rural residents with state social standards in the sphere of material, social and cultural benefits provided to the population. In this regard, the standard of living in rural areas can be viewed through the prism of compliance with statistically measurable indicators reflecting the fulfillment of standards of living of rural residents. As a result of the analysis of existing approaches, the concept of sustainable development, which aims to improve the quality of life of the population, was chosen as the basic concept. To achieve the goal defined in the Concept of Sustainable Development, it is necessary to develop a Standard of Quality of Life, which would enshrine a set of necessary services for each rural resident, regardless of income, social status, health and age. The standard provides the functioning of the system of rules, creates a model of the quality of life in rural areas. The standard of the quality of life in rural areas should be considered as a system of minimum normative values, on the basis of which it is possible to make comparisons with other objects. The article proposes a methodology for the formation of a variable standard of quality of life in rural areas.
