Abstract: The article is devoted to a problem of diagnosis and treatment of postcholecystectomy syndrome caused by benign neoformations of the major duodenal papilla. The material of study was formed by 76 patients; among them 53 ones had isolated benign neoformations of the major duodenal papilla. The medical-diagnostic algorithm applied by authors for the examination of patients with postcholecystectomy syndrome is presented. It's been defined, that benign neoformations of the major duodenal papilla take an essential place in the structure of postcholecystectomy syndrome and make 13.5% of the reasons of its occurrence. Thus, the most widespread morphological substratum of these benign neoformations is the hyperplastic polyp.

Abstract: The authors offer recommendations on the choice and use of optimal clinically tried drugs in ophthalmic traumatology with consideration for posttraumatic changes, doses, and mechanism of action. The recommendations are based on the clinical observations of 16,000 patients treated at department of ocular injuries, reconstructive surgery, and ocular prosthetics of Helmholtz Institute of Ocular Diseases in Moscow.

Abstract: With the aid of the Coombs indirect method the authors studied the blood sera of 79 patients with different forms of schizophrenia and 27 normal donors. It was demonstrate that the blood sera of schizophrenic patients and normals contain globulins capable of fixation on different components of a nervous cell. However, the character and intensity of fluorescence as well as the amount of fluorescent nerve cells in the field of vision distinguishes the examined patients from normal donors.

Abstract: Seven days after vagotomy in rats there was an increase of the mitotic activity of the epithelium of the small intestine; this index was about 1.5 greater in the experimental ats in comparison with control animals. Daily rhythm of the mitotic activity was constant under these conditions, but the amplitude of daily fluctuations was levelled. Vagotomy failed to alter the stable regimen of renovation of the cell population of the "crypt-villus" system.
