Abstract: Niche partitioning is a mechanism that allows species to coexist by minimizing competition. This mechanism has been broadly studied at trophic and spatial scales while partitioning across a daily temporal scale has been less studied. We collected data of hummingbirds (visits to plants) and plants (nectar production and morphological traits) from the Brazilian Atlantic forest to explore niche segregation at trophic (for hummingbirds) and temporal daily (for hummingbirds and plants) scales. The hummingbirds visited the same plant species during the same hours throughout the day, indicating overlap patterns and lack of competition at both trophic and daily scales. On the other hand, the plant community offered nectar throughout the day, showing no pattern of segregation of daily nectar production. The niche overlap in daily nectar production did not differ between species that co-flowered or shared a hummingbird species. However, the plant species that shared hummingbirds showed the lowest niche overlap in daily nectar production. Also, we found that plant species with higher morphological similarity had higher overlap in daily nectar production. Overall, we show patterns of overlap in resource use both on the trophic scale and the daily scale, indicating that facilitation may be structuring the hummingbird community. For plants, the lack of segregation in nectar production and the high overlap of hummingbirds on plants throughout the day suggests that plants may be facilitating each other rather than competing for pollination. This indicates that indirect interactions, such as facilitation, may be structuring the hummingbird and plant community they visited in the southeastern Atlantic Forest.

The present work allows to establish a means of evaluation for the projects established by the government, as in this case the Electronic Money which was implemented by the public sector in order to boost the economy by including people who are outside the scope of banking services due to remoteness, lack of education, failure to comply with any requirement, few values in their charge that do not require depositing them in a financial institution, among others. In addition to providing citizens a way to make transactions avoiding the use of physical money in order to obtain security against assault and avoid extra expenses for transportation, use and wear of physical money. Currently, Electronic Money is in charge of private financial institutions which must offer this service to their customers, taking into account that the securities that are sent through this medium are backed one hundred percent with United States dollars, which allows This virtual currency is legal within the country and is supported by differentiating it from other currencies such as Bitcoin, which is not legal in the country because it does not have a backup. The supply of money is related to the prices of goods and services that, at the time of increase, prices will also cause inflation, money loses its purchasing power, which is important in the event that the government want to create electronic money under another type of support that helps to help the fiscal deficit, a fact that kept the public quite concerned and for which so much distrust was generated that it came to total rejection in some cases. The present project determines the degree of rejection that the Electronic Money System project had, as well as identifying the sector of society that has benefited from the incentives that sought to increase its use and, in this way, justify the costs that were generated for its application.

- Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a current paradigm which can be part of several fields of application, and Healthcare is one of the most important. Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) is an important subfield in Healthcare. Also, services demand and network requirements of IoT systems due to the increase of connected devices and data flow overcharges Cloud. Fog Computing represents a new paradigm that lightens the network. Some applications use Fog Computing in order to reduce costs and improve performance of IoT applications. Healthcare is one of them and the implementation of Fog Computing architectures inside those systems is a new trend nowadays. The importance of having a data infrastructure in this kind of IoT systems is evident because of the relevance of the data. In this paper is presented a Data Infrastructure for Managing Information Obtained from Ambient Assisted Living. The model provides the data flow starting in the data reading in the IoT devices and ending in the Cloud by crossing Fog Computing Layer. The model considers communication protocols, security features and relationship between elements which take part in an AAL system. Moreover, the model was developed using Eclipse Modeling Tool and validated in the same tool by using an instantiation of the main classes of the model.

- Abstract
This investigation is Qualitative-quantitative, of transversal and descriptive type; we used many situations with a single unite of analysis. We worked with a population of 85 students, which belong to 1st grades, General Basic Education in the morning and evening schedule. We used two types of evaluation instruments: “Inventario para maestro” from Prieto and Ballester (2003) (ctd. In Luis Carpio, 2014) and Multiple Intelligences Test from Howard Gardner adapted from Celso Antunes (2002). The main objective of our investigation was the multiple intelligences evaluation and to find which intelligence is the most developed in schooled kids, that are between 5 to 6 years old, inside the leaning process such as the General Basic Education obligatory Curriculum 2016 from The Education Ministry does. In final terms, we found Mathematical logician intelligence, is the dominant, with 72.8%, and the lowest with 59.7%. These results are based on tests with direct application on the kids. On another hand, we have the teacher´s perception, which the dominant percentage is 83.6% in Visual space intelligence and the lowest with 75.0% in Mathematical logician intelligence. These teacher´s grades, represents the highest percentage in all the intelligences including: The musical intelligence, with a 99.8% and repeatedly, the lowest one is the Mathematical logician intelligence. These final results explain that there’s no agreement between the interests of the child, the perceptions and qualifications of the teacher.

This paper analyzes the period 2000 - 2014, which includes the fall of the Fujimori Regime and the return of democratic governments to the country. This periodization is important to explain the phenomenon of the state response towards the social conflicts, from year 2000 and the return of democratic governments, the problematic begins to take a stance on the state agenda and therefore efforts began to develop a managing and conflict resolution strategy The paper also proposes a division of four stages of this state response. These stages that do not correspond neither to the presidential periods nor the denomination of the conflict resolution offices, are defined by factors that produced significative changes between each stage. Likewise the text explains each of these factors and the measure in which they made these changes possible. The research gathers information from diverse theoretical sources as well as a compilation of interviews to officials that worked during this period in each of the stages. In this way we can present the response of the state against the social conflicts, which had been and are the strategies used to deal with these issues and specially which are the factors that produce a change in the function of management and conflicts resolution. - Abstract
This research, which is entitled "tort liability and redress for damages in the Ecuadorian Legislation" seeks, analyzing the rules governing the amount of the damage caused by unlawful acts of individuals, since in everyday relationships that exists in society, it is very common that there is this type of behavior, the issue of reparation to which they are entitled will be treated who has been the victim of a prejudice, because at present, there is great many people do not go to the competent courts to claim this right, perhaps out of shame or ignorance, because most people believe that the absence of a document that supports the breach of certain obligations, which have been the antecedent of damage, they are not enforceable. In terms of damages, as to the compensation ordered by the court to pay the person who has suffered the damage, our Civil Code is clearly repaired, it raises three institutions regarding damage, being the following: damage consequential, lost profits and moral damages; that is, it is a heritage asset and extra compensation for the damage caused to a legally protected. The determination of compensatory damages, differentiating when there has been a patrimonial or extra-patrimonial damage, given that we find ourselves in the second case, will be the discretion of the judges shall determine the amount of compensation it is why within the development of this research, which will be mentioned are the different factors and parameters that must conform to the judges when determining the amount of compensation for each case.

- Abstract
This paper aims to determine if there is a proper access for people with disabilities and reduced mobility to three tourist attractions in the city of Cuenca, in order to know the level of inclusion that the city offers for this vulnerable group society. The correct access to all goods and services is an enshrined right in the Constitution of the Republic, (National Constituent Assembly), which seeks to incorporate people with special needs in different social activities, providing easier access to it. The three tourist centers analyzed in here are: Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción, Catedral del Sagrario, and La Plaza de las Flores, considered essential places to visit in the historic center of the city, the level of accessibility compliance is also going to be verified as determined in INEN standards. Having identified the shortcomings in accessibility in the three aforementioned centers, the application of the INEN technical rules arises, thereby seeking to open inclusive tourism field, as well as skills enhancement in attention to this segment.

Background We previously detected Helicobacter pylori infection by stool antigen ELISA assay in 33-41% of asymptomatic Chilean children between 2-3 years of age, of which 11-20% had a transient infection and 21-22% a persistent infection. A total of 88% of ELISA-positive samples were also rt PCR positive, while 37/133 (33%) of ELISA-negative stool samples were rt PCR positive. The significance of a ELISA-negative/rt PCR-positive sample requires clarification. We aimed to determine whether rt PCR is able to detect persistent infections not detected by ELISA. Materials and Methods We selected 36 children with an ELISA-negative/rt PCR-positive stool sample, of which 25 were never H. pylori infected according to ELISA, and 11 had a transient infection with an ELISA-positive sample before or after the discordant sample. At least two additional consecutive ELISA-negative samples per child were tested in duplicate by rt PCR for the 16s rRNA gene. Results A total of 14 of 78 (17.9%) rt PCR reactions were positive, but only 4/78 (5.1%) were positive in both duplicates, representing a total of 3/36 (8.3%) children with an additional rt PCR-positive sample, only one of whom was persistently negative by ELISA. One child with a transient infection had two positive rt PCR reactions despite negative ELISA samples. Conclusions In H. pylori noninfected or transiently infected children, as determined by stool ELISA, additional ELISA-negative/rt PCR-positive stool samples were found in 8.3% of children, but a possible persistent infection was only identified in 2.7% of children. Thus, the characterization of infection dynamics in children is not being misrepresented by application of stool ELISA. Furthermore, rt PCR does not significantly improve dynamic characterization. - Abstract
Ecuador is a mega-diverse country where plants are widely distributed and used by Ecuadorian people with different purposes, being the medicinal one the most common in our country. This abundance has enabled the widespread use of plants unfortunately, most without a prescription, or studies which support its safety or efficacy. The present research project was focus on the analysis of the pharmacological potential as anti-inflammatory products of the hydro-alcoholic and chloroform extracts from Matricaria recutita, Rosmarinus officinalis, Aristeguietia glutinosa, Urtica urens, Cestrum sp, Cestrum aff. peruvianum, and Uncaria tomentosa using the zebrafish as a model (Danio rerio). The use of zebrafish can be explained due to its genetic homology, physiological and pharmacological similarity on responds as humans. It is of particular importance to mention the fact that this research was based on previous experience of Dr. David Achig, regarding to the therapeutic use of various plants, according to concepts present in the traditional Chinese medicine. One objective of this particular research is to give scientific support to this ancient knowledge. For the present study, seven plants were selected according to Dr. Achig criteria and ethnomedical information. Plant samples were collected, botanically characterized, rinsed, dried, and stored until analysis. Hydro-alcoholic and chloroform extracts were obtained. The toxicity of obtained extracts was assayed on zebra fish larvae of 7 days post fertilization in order to determine the maximum tolerable concentration (MTC). Subsequently, in vivo assay was developed in order to evaluate the leukocyte migration and determine the extract anti-inflammatory activity. Statistical analysis was performed with the free software "R" version 2.15.2 64-bit, using ANOVA analysis and multiple comparison procedure Tukey. Results allowed us to conclude that hydroalcoholic and chloroform extracts of Matricaria recutita, Rosmarinus officinali
