Görüntü işlemede, görüntünün yeniden oluşturulması temel bir işlemdir ve görüntülerin mümkün olan en düşük gürültü ve en yüksek doğrulukla yeniden oluşturulması istenir. Sayısal holografi, yaygın olarak Hızlı Fourier Dönüşümünü (FFT) kullanan görüntü yeniden oluşturma yöntemlerinden biridir. Ancak, sayısal holografinin yeniden oluşturma sürecinde gürültüyü azaltmak veya sayısal hologramı optimize etmek için genetik algoritma (GA) gibi çeşitli yinelemeli yöntemler kullanılabilir. Bu çalışmada, sayısal holografide ikili kodlu genetik algoritma (BGA) kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen bir görüntü yeniden oluşturma sunulmaktadır. Bu amaçla, camdan yapılmış bir yıldız nesnenin görüntüsü hem orjinal olarak hem de orijinal olarak yeniden yapılandırılana benzer bir çözüm bulmak için BGA kullanılarak yeniden oluşturulmaktadır. Ayrıca yeniden oluşturulan görüntüdeki faz düzeltme etkisi Goldenstein ve Quality guided path teknikleri olmak üzere iki farklı yöntem kullanılarak değerlendirilmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, BGA'nın orijinal olarak yeniden oluşturulan görüntüye oldukça benzer bir çözüm sağladığından, sayısal holografide yaygın olarak kullanılan yeniden oluşturma işlemine bir alternatif olarak düşünülebileceğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca, faz bilgisine sahip 3 boyutlu (3D) görüntü, faz düzeltme teknikleri ile elde edildiğinden, daha kaliteli görüntülere sahip olunmasını sağlar., Image reconstruction is a fundamental task of image processing and images are desired to be reconstructed with the lowest noise and most accuracy possible. Digital holography is one of the methods for image reconstruction that uses Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) as a commonly tool. However, several iterative methods such as genetic algorithm (GA) can be used to decrease the noise or optimize the digital hologram in the reconstuction process for digital holography. In this paper, we propose an image reconstruction task that is performed by using binary genetic algorithm (BGA) in digital holography. In this scheme, the image of a glass made star object is reconstructed both orginally and also by using BGA to find a similar solution to the originally reconstructed one. In addition, unwrapping effect in the reconstructed image is evaluated by using two different methods that are Goldenstein's and Quality guided path following techniques. The obtained results indicate that since BGA provides a solution with higher similarity to the originally reconstructed one, it can be considered as an alternative to common reconstruction process in digital holography. In addition, since 3-dimensional (3D) image with phase information is obtained by unwrapping techniques, it provides to have better quality images.

06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü Tezlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır. Aile işletmeleri geçmişten beri ekonominin yanı sıra uygarlığın gelişmesinde de önemli rol üstlenmiştir. Aile kontrolündeki işletmeler sanayileşme döneminin ilk aşamalarından beri ekonomik gelişme sürecinin itici güçleri arasında yer almışlardır. Türkiye'de bulunan işletmelerin %95'i aile işletmesinden oluşmaktadır ve bunların çoğunluğu da KOBİ'dir. KOBİ'ler için büyüme ve uluslararasılaşma önemli bir adımdır. Türkiye ekonomisi üzerinde aile işletmelerinin sahip oldukları pay dolayısıyla sadece aile için değil toplum için de önemli olduğu görülmektedir. Türkiye ekonomisinin çoğunluğunu oluşturan aile işletmelerinden üçüncü kuşağa ulaşabilenlerin sayısı oldukça düşüktür. Ömürlerinin kısa olması aslında doğru büyüme stratejileri izleyemiyor olmalarından kaynaklanabilir ve bu tezde özellikle uluslararasılaşma yoluyla büyümeye gidilmemesi uzun ömürlü olamamanın bir nedeni olarak öngörülmüştür. Literatür incelemesinin sonucunda; son yıllarda aile işletmelerinin de dikkat çekici oranda uluslararası arenada yer alma isteğinin arttığı gözlemlenmektedir. Ancak literatürde araştırmacının kaynak ve kabiliyetleri kapsamında erişebildiği kaynaklar üzerinden bakıldığından; aile işletmelerinin büyüme ve uluslararasılaşmalarının kavramlarının arasındaki ilişkiye dair kaynak bulunamadığı ve yöntem açısından da Türkiye bağlamını ortaya çıkarması ve karşılaştırmalı bir analiz sunmasından dolayı literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Araştırmada yerel ve uluslararası olmak üzere toplam 14 aile işletmesi kasti örnekleme uygun olarak seçilmiştir. İşletmelerin yerel ve uluslararası olarak seçilmesindeki amaç ikisi arasında aralarında büyüme ve uluslararasılaşma konularına bakıştaki farklılıkları varsa ortaya koyabilmektir. İşletmeler ile yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar yapılmıştır. Ardından tema ve kodlar oluşturulmuştur. Mülakatlar MAXQDA 2018 nitel araştırma programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz üç boyuttan oluşmaktadır. İlk boyutta yerel ve uluslararası aile işletmelerinin aile işletmesi kimliğine bakış açılarını öğrenmek amaçlanmış, ikinci boyutta yine yerel ve uluslararası işletmelerin büyüme stratejilerinin ne olduğu, büyümeye karşı tutumlarının nasıl olduğu öğrenilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü boyut da ise sadece uluslararası aile işletmelerinin uluslararasılaşma kararını nasıl aldıkları, hangi yollar ile uluslararasılaştıkları ve karşılaştıkları engelleri öğrenmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın en temel ve çarpıcı bulguları: - Aile işletmeleri kendilerini "aile işletmesi" olarak tanımlarken dahi bu kavrama farklı anlam yüklemekte bu da farklı aile işletmesi kimliklerinin varlığına neden olmaktadır. - İlk bulgudaki farklılıklara rağmen büyüme ve uluslararasılaşma konularına ilişkin algılarının ise benzer olduğu görülmüştür. - Ayrıca uluslarasılaşma teorilerinden en çok ağ yaklaşımı modeli aile işletmelerinin uluslararası pazarlara girmeyi tercih ettikleri ve bunun en temel gerekçesinin de ne olduğu görülmüştür. Family businesses have played an important role in the development of civilization as well as the economy. Family-controlled enterprises have been among the driving forces of the economic development process since the early stages of industrialization. 95% of enterprises in Turkey consists of a family business and the majority of them are SMEs. Growth and internationalization are an important step for SMEs. the family business which has a large share of over Turkey's economy seems to be important for the family as well as for society. The number of companies that see the third generation of the family businesses that make up the majority of the Turkish economy is very low. Short life span may be due to the fact that they cannot follow correct growth strategies. in this thesis, it is envisaged that the lack of international expansion is a reason not to live longevity. As a result of the literature review, it has been observed that in recent years the desire of family enterprises to take part in the international arena has increased. However, in the literature, the researcher's resources and abilities are viewed through the sources that are accessible; it is thought that the relationship between the concepts of growth and internationalization of family enterprises cannot be found and it will contribute to the literature as it reveals the context of Turkey in terms of method and provides a comparative analysis. In this study, 14 family enterprises, including local and International, were selected as judgemental. The aim of the local and international selection of enterprises is to reveal the differences between the two if there are differences in the view of growth and internationalization issues. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with businesses. Then the themes and codes were created. The interviews were analysed with the qualitative research program of MAXQDA 2018. The analysis consists of three main themes. The first dimension is to learn the perspectives of local and international family businesses on the family business identity. in the second dimension, it is aimed to learn how local and international businesses are strategies for growth and their attitudes towards growth. In the third dimension, it is aimed to learn how the international family businesses only take the decision of internationalization, the ways in which they are internationalized and the obstacles they face. The most basic and striking findings of the research; - Even if family companies define themselves as "family business", they have different meanings and this leads to the existence of different identities. - Despite the differences in the initial findings, the perceptions of growth and internationalization were similar. - In addition, it is seen that family businesses prefer the most network approach model from internationalization theories by entering international markets.

We investigated adaptive algorithms for a Hammerstein block structure in which a static nonlinear block and dynamic linear block are cascaded. The approach considered here is to use generalized orthonormal basis functions in a Hammerstein block structure by using fixed pole filter banks. We applied the normalized least mean square approach to the developed adaptive algorithm in order to acquire Hammerstein block structure parameters. Performance comparison of the proposed approach was investigated considering convergence speed and parametric complexity for acoustic echo cancellation application. The results indicated that in the developed algorithm along with appropriate selection of fixed poles, the algorithm convergences faster and less parametric complexity is provided when compared to direct adaptive Hammerstein algorithms with IIR and FIR linear blocks.

25th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference, SIU 2017 -- 15 May 2017 through 18 May 2017 -- -- 128703, Reverberation and multipath propagation afîect the accuracy of time of flight (TOF) estimation in confined underwater medium. In this paper, time delay has been estimated by obtaining the transmitted signal and first echo signal from measured signal acquised by using a wideband transducer with 5 MHz central frequency. Cross-correlation (CC) and generalized cross-correlation (GCC) methods have been applied to the obtained signals and their performances have been compared. The results show that GCC method has better performance for time delay estimation in confined underwater medium where multipath propagation and reverberation are severe. © 2017 IEEE.

Elastik dalgalar, sadece gaz ve sıvılarda değil aynı zamanda katılarda da yayılırlar. Katılar, sıvı ve gazlarda olmayan form elastisitesine sahip olduğundan, katıların elastik özellikleri farklıdır. Bu nedenle, sadece boylamsal dalgalar değil aynı zamanda diğer dalgalar da katılarda yayılabilir. Katı içinde yayılan dalgalar kullanılarak hedefin konumu hakkında bilgi edinilebilir. Bu çalışmada ince düzlemlerde tek transdüktör kullanılarak ultrasonik dalga yayılımının modellenmesi yapılarak, uyarlamalı algoritma ile hedef uzaklığı kestirilmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlarda, modellenen dalga yayılımında ultrasonik dalganın hızı ile birlikte zaman gecikmesi uyartım noktasının sensöre olan uzaklığı ile ilintili olduğu için, uyarlamalı algoritma ile darbe cevabı başlangıç noktası belirlenerek hedef konumunun tespit edilebildiği görülmektedir., Elastic waves propagate not only in gases and liquids but also in solids. The elastic properties of solids are different since they have form elasticity which liquids and gases don't have. Because of this reason, not only longitudinal waves but also other waves can propagate in solids. Waves propagating in solids can be used to get information about target location. In this paper, modelling of ultrasonic wave propagation in thin plates is investigated by using a single transducer and target distance is estimated with adaptive algorithm. According to the obtained results, it can be seen that target location can be estimated by detecting the starting point of the impulse response with adaptive algorithm since the delay along with the velocity of ultrasound wave in the modelled wave propagation is related to the distance between the excitation point and sensor.

Ultrasonik transdüktör dizileri, tıbbi görüntüleme uygulamalarında ve endüstrinin birçok alanında sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Dizilerin kullanımı, ses hüzmesine alıcı ya da verici modunda odaklanmayı sağlar ancak donanım maliyetini arttırır. Bu nedenle, donanım maliyetinin yüksek olduğu teknikler yerine düşük maliyetli tekniklerin geliştirilebilmesi önemli bir araştırma konusudur. Bu doktora tez çalışmasında, transdüktör dizisi yerine tek transdüktör kullanılarak katı, sıvı ve doku ortamlarında ultrasonik dalga yayılımı incelenmektedir. Katı ortam olarak ele alınan ince düzlemde dalga yayılım ortamında oluşan eko yok edilerek, ultrasonik dalga yayılımının modellenmesi için türetilen elastik dalga modeli ile uyartım noktası kestirilmektedir. Modellenen dalga yayılımında ultrasonik dalganın hızı ile birlikte zaman gecikmesi uyartım noktasının hedefe olan uzaklığı ile ilintili olduğu için, uyarlamalı algoritma ile darbe cevabı başlangıç noktası belirlenerek hedef konumunun tespit edilebildiği görülmektedir. Sıvı ortamlarda, türetilen elastik dalga modeli ile ultrasonun sıvı içinde yayılması modellenerek darbe cevabı kestirilmektedir. Ayrıca, türetilen teorik model ile ultrasonun homojen olmayan ortamlar olan doku içinde yayılması modellenerek dokudaki farklılıkların ortaya çıkarılması için ultrason zayıflaması incelenmektedir. Klasik spektral kayma ve spektral fark yöntemlerinin sınırlamalarını azaltan yeni bir zayıflama kestirim yöntemi sunulmuştur. Ultrason zayıflamasının kestirilmesi için frekans bölgesi yöntemler incelenerek canlı içinden alınan böbrek dokusu verisi için iki boyutlu görüntüleme çalışmaları yapılmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında sunulan spektral fark-kayma hibrid yönteminin hem düzgün zayıflamanın hem de geri saçılmada değişikliğin olduğu bölgelerde zayıflama katsayısını klasik spektral yaklaşımlara göre daha iyi performansla kestirebildiği gözlemlenmektedir. Farklı hastalardan alınan biyopsi sonucundan elde edilen doku verileri ile deneysel çalışmalar yapılmıştır ve dokularda oluşan farklı yapıların belirlenmesi için ultrason dalgasının yayılması ve yansıması incelenerek elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmaktadır. Ayrıca, elde edilen sonuçlardan, dokudaki farklı yapılar ve kitle yerleşimleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olunacağı görülmektedir. Ultrasonic transducer arrays are used commonly in medical imaging applications and many fields of industry. Using arrays provides focusing to beam as a receiver or transmitter mode. However, it increases hardware cost. Therefore, it is an important research area to be able to improve low cost techniques instead of high cost ones. In this thesis study, ultrasonic wave propagation in solid, liquid and tissue mediums is investigated by using a single transducer instead of transducer array. Echo formed in the wave propagation medium of thin plate which is considered as solid medium is cancelled and excitation point is estimated by means of elastic wave model developed to model the ultrasonic wave propagation. Since ultrasound wave speed with time delay in the modelled wave propagation is related to the distance between excitation point and target, it has been seen that target location has been detected by determining the starting point of impulse response. In liquid mediums, the propagation of ultrasound in liquid is modelled by means of developed elastic wave model and impulse response is estimated. Also, by using developed theoretical model, the propagation of ultrasound in tissue mediums which are inhomogeneous is modelled and attenuation in tissue is investigated in order to detect the variances in the tissue. A new attenuation estimation method has been proposed which decreases the limitations of classical spectral downshift and difference methods. Examining frequency domain methods for estimating the attenuation of ultrasound 2D imaging study is performed for in vivo kidney data. It has been seen that spectral difference-downshift hybrid method proposed in this thesis study can estimate the attenuation coefficient with better performance than classical spectral approaches for both regions which have uniform attenuation and variations in backscattering. Experimental studies with tissue data obtained from biopsy results of different patients are carried out by using derived theoretical model and obtained results are compared by investigating the reflection and propagation of ultrasound wave in order to determine the different structures formed in tissues. Also, it has been seen that results give info about different structures and localizations of bulks in the tissue. 227

In this study, investigations of variations of ultrasonic speed with salinity and temperature in water samples are reported. Initially samples of saline water were prepared by dissolving measured quantities of salt (table salt, NaCl) in a given volume of pure water. Measurements were carried out in a rectangular bath having plexi-glass windows. One transducer with 4 MHz is used for launching and receiving the longitudinal ultrasonic pulses through the water. A mathematical expression describing speed as a function of temperature and salinity is developed. Results indicate that ultrasonic speed increases with temperature and salinity., Bu çalışmada, suda ultrases hızının tuzluluk ve sıcaklıkla değişimi incelenmiştir. Tuzlu su, kullanılan saf su hacminde ölçülen miktarda sofra tuzunun (NaCl) çözdürülmesiyle hazırlanmıştır. Ölçümler plexi camları olan dikdortgen bir havuzun içinde yapılmıştır. Boyuna ses ötesi darbeleri suya göndermek ve almak için 4 Mhz ‘lik transduser kullanılmıştır. Deneysel ölçümlerden elde edilen veriler kullanılarak hızı, sıcaklık ve tuzluluk fonksiyonu olarak tanımlayan matematiksel bir ifade geliştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar, ultrasonik hızın sıcaklık ve tuzlulukla arttığını göstermiştir.
