The the main physical, hydrophysical and chemical attributes of some Vertisols from Olt county were investigated. The field study was carried out on agricultural area in four soils, from each pedogenetic horizon were collected soil in disturbed samples and undisturbed samples for laboratory analysis. The soil classification was made according WRB 2014 and SRTS 2012, and the investigated soils were classified as Vertisols. In the studied soils, the granulometry data showed a clay texture in all the pedogenetic horizons. According to the values of Saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ksat), most of the studied horizons had low and very low permeability. Useful water capacity (UWC) was obtained by calculation, as the difference between wilting coefficient and field water capacity, and in most of the horizons of the investigated soils, recorded very low values. Moreover, low values of draining capacity (DC) pointed out the studied soils have aeration, permeability drainage deficiencies. The studied Vertisols, in top soil, show moderat acid to low acid pH, low humus content (2.72-3.34%), low content of Pm and high content of Km. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Olt County comprises 57 game funds with a surface of 492.073 ha. Eight game species from the ones present in this area (fallow deer, mouflon, eurasian-coot, common-quail, eurasian-jay, hooded crow, bream, picke-perch) were chosen and ranked according to 19 criteria (harvesting period, the quantity gathered by a worker in eight hours, harvesting cost, harvesting knowledge, knowledge for harvesting the species, tools needed for harvesting, complexity of harvesting process, harvesting process development, knowledge for recognition, distribution range, biotic threats, abiotic threats, perishability, market potential, market demand, "celebrity" of the product on the market, the price of raw product, the price of the derived product, portfolio of derived products, the transport from the harvesting point up to the storage center). Grades 1 to 8 were assigned to each species studied by specialists in the field and using a hierarchical analytical process (AHP) based on Desktop Choice Expert software. As such, the species with an important game interest in this area are the fallow deer and mouflon due to the fact that they have a large portfolio of derived products, a large distribution range and a high demand on the market. On the other side, the least important species are the eurasian-jay and eurasian-coot as they are low in biotic threats, abiotic threats, perishability, market potential, market demand, "celebrity" of the product on the market, the price of raw product, the price of the derived product and the portfolio of derived products. Overall, the harvesting potential and commercialization of game species, as well as their diversity and portfolio of derived products is high in this County. This is due to the forest and sapling area, which is the favorable environment for the reproduction and development of the species, as well as a large crop area from which the hunting can obtain its food and a good management of the fauna through the protection of the fauna and the complementary food that has a contribution essential. Olt is among Romania's counties that remains hidden when it comes to tourism. Unlike other Romania's counties that possess tourism advantages in the form of landscape or anthropic heritage, Olt county appears to lack the first part. However, the landscape is developed on a wavy morphology with not so crowded roads that favours cyclotourism. Therefore, the analysis focused on highlighting the historical-geographic objectives with touristic potential, as well as turing them to good account in the form of cycle routes. The novelty of the research is to design four cycle routes using Strava app and choosing a county in the lowlands as a case study. At the time of this analysis cycle tourism in Olt county, there was only one route for cyclists, currently online, but without no touristic importance. The methodology used involved identifying historical and geographical ob jectives of national importance, structuring categories and grouping them into four mixed tracks which were dedicated to cyclists. Previous stages were followed by field research in order to collect technical data (map, time, distance, total ascent etc.). Finally, a critical review of proposed bicycle routes was undertaken in the research. Study results showed that cycling tourism is a real opportunity for Olt county economy thanks to the number and value of the present tourism potential objectives. Nevertheless, at this stage, the lack of infrastructure, promotion and the small number of units makes it difficult to organize cycle tourism. What is more, the lack of cycle paths endangers cyclotourists’ safety.

Sustainable development and success of rural tourism and agrotourism not depends only by attractive tourist facilities and landscape, depends to an extent more or less equal competitive and quality service. Tourism, being known as one of the world's most competitive activities require commitment, professionalism, understanding, organization and not least an effective strategy for human resource development. The materials we will present the method used in the study was a questionable applied in Olt county, in the 9th joint distributed three forms of relief: Meadow: Gura Padinii, Gârcov and Orlea, Plain: Călui, Curtişoara, Pleșoiu and hill Leleasca, Oboga and Sâmbureşti, in order to analyze and agro tourism potential, to develop strategy and promote recovery. In evaluating the survey data used to test the association, (Chi, Hi or χ2 theoretically) test allows highlighting the existence / non-existence of a link between the association created under local segmentation variables studied.

Compossessorates are social unions instituted with the object of sharing the exploitation of the stock of wood. In Olt County there are two prevalent types of compossessorates: the former boyars’ compossessorates (of genealogical consuetudinary system) and the former serfs’ compossessorates (of non genealogical consuetudinary system).

The Olt County occupies a territory that is in a majority proportion intended for areas under cultivation, agriculture is one of the priority activity in this area. This paper analysed the main indicators of agriculture and the tendency manifested along the period from 2000 to 2014. Among the indicators analysed are the land fund of the County with the study of the evolution of the utilized agricultural area and arable area, the main crops and yields of these crops, the holdings endowment with machinery and agricultural equipment, the livestock devolving to 100 hectares, the active population from agriculture and the agricultural value production by sectors of activity. All these data have been analysed as physical size, value of the tournament which it occupies within the County, and in their evolution. The tendency of these indicators was assessed through the annual rhythm of growth and using polynomial equations of degree two and three. The study undertook showed some pragmatic conclusions concerning how the consulting activity evolves in Olt County, in terms of farmers benefiting from agricultural advice. Through its quality, consultancy seeks through its specific methods, to be equally appreciated by the beneficiaries. Normally, agricultural consultancy, should be assessed, approximately equally by farmers, i.e. that there may not be no significant differences of appreciation over the areas analyzed, namely: projects preparation (Sapard and others), plants protection, chemical fertilizer procurement, procurement of pesticides, purchase of agricultural equipment, purchase of seeds and planting, animal husbandry, in various forms. From the analysis of the responses showed that farmers in Olt County, the geographical shape of the County is of particular importance to the ways of the consultancy evaluation, resulting in appreciations of significant differentiation from all areas, excluding the purchase of seeds and planting material, where appreciation was similar.
