Abstract

Com a disseminação dos dispositivos móveis dotados de vários sensores, como câmeras, acelerômetros e GPS, o uso de Realidade Aumentada (RA) tem se difundido em várias áreas. Com foco na área da Educação, o objetivo deste artigo foi avaliar a aceitação dos estudantes em relação a adoção de recursos de RA no ensino de Biologia. Para tanto, foi conduzido um experimento orientado pelo Modelo de Aceitação de Tecnologia, no qual 19 estudantes testaram e emitiram as suas percepções sobre esse tipo de recurso. Os resultados do experimento revelaram uma boa aceitação dos estudantes para utilização de RA, reconhecendo que esses recursos são fáceis de utilizar e que são úteis para o processo de aprendizagem. Porém, vale ressaltar que os resultados, também, apontaram a necessidade de observar fatores que podem prejudicar essa aceitação, como a falta de internet e de dispositivos para o acesso a RA.

18. Entrepreneurship education: A brazilian way to teachability

Abstract

Purpose - The aim of this paper is to analyse whether and how entrepreneurial competencies can be effectively taught and learned, specifically when young students are involved. More specifically, the research aims at identifying the best teaching method to teach entrepreneurship to school students, by showing the activities and results of a didactic program carried out in Brazil. Design/methodology/approach - The methodology is based on a case study approach and is qualitative in nature, because it involves gathering data from statements made by individuals and the researchers’ own description of their observations. Findings - The paper shows that an effective way to entrepreneurship education can be represented by a method that carefully blends thinking and acting, and is based on a set of assumptions that goes beyond understanding, knowing, and talking and requires using, applying, and acting. At the core of the method is the ability for students to practice entrepreneurship and we introduce a portfolio of practice-based pedagogies. Practical implications - The paper highlights how the adoption of a mainly experience-based didactic approach can greatly improve the teachability of entrepreneurial skills. Originality/value - The paper presents a valuable approach to entrepreneurship education for school students, a conceptual perspective that scholars could adopt to study this topic in greater depth and a didactic project that other trainers could apply effectively.

19. A EVOLUÇÃO CONCEITUAL DA EDUCAÇÃO PARA O EMPREENDEDORISMO COMO UM CAMPO CIENTÍFICO.

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to outline the longitudinal evolution of the conceptual dimension of education for entrepreneurship as a scientific field, and its characterization in the form of stages between the years 1990 and 2013. The study relied on co-word analysis to describe the invisible thematic interactions that exist between different time stages of the evolutionary process of education for entrepreneurship. For the bibliometric analysis, a sample was used consisting of 274 ISI articles published in major online newspapers, internationally recognized by the scientific community, indexed to Web of Science platform. The results reveal an eclectic, multifaceted and interdisciplinary field that has gone through the stages of embryonic growth, to maturity, and scientific maturity. The result also suggest important links between education for entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, the development of entrepreneurial skills, and cultural context. Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the interactions between the strategic process and the one of innovation, observing, in particular, how the mechanisms of decision making and the strategic actions of innovation contribute to the formation and formulation of different competitive strategies. This framework is proposed for analyzing the innovative strategic actions of ViniBrasil, given the challenges posed by the intensification of competition in the domestic and international wine markets. The study has a qualitativeexploratory character and used, as reference of the framework, the model developed by Sarkar (2007). The data arise from archival research and from a questionnaire applied to the key managers of ViniBrasil. The survey used is divided into two parts. The first one contains three blocks of closed answers (data analysis of characterization of the company, socio demographic data, and about the ability to innovate and use ICT). The second part consists of four blocks of responses, with a metric scale of measurement, in order to measure a set of latent variables. The most significant findings relate to the strategic actions of innovation applied to the production process, including the conversion of vineyards, the adequacy of the conduction and irrigation system, the production of differentiated wines, the winery modernization and to the business model, with emphasis on new marketing standards focused on domestic and foreign markets. The ViniBrasil is located in Fox Archetype Space, both at the level of product as of the production process. This space is characterized by the existence of a large number of competitors, operating in an environment of much competitive pressure and high degree of differentiation/innovation. Innovations occur in a continuum, ranging from the introduction of new products and processes, significant improvements in marketing and in the business management itself, factors which generated different impacts on the sustainability and maintenance of the competitive advantages of business.
