Distribution. Guangxi (Diding, Shiwandashan, Wanggangshan); Yunnan (Maguan, Xishuangbanna). Discussion. After Li et al. ’s (2014) study, the species was mainly distributed in China (Yunnan: Cangyuan, Jinping, Maguan, Malipo, Menghai, Mengla) and Vietnam. In the original description, Ocellar n aca emeie nsis Li, Fang, Liu & Li, 2014 was recorded in Sichuan and Guangxi. While in Bian’s list, Ocellarnaca emeiensis was only recorded in Sichuan, and the specimens from Guangxi were treated as a new undescribed species. Ocellarnaca emeiensis brachyptera Shi & Zhu, 2021 stat. nov. DMNJDZẠṀDzdz Figures 18–21 Description. Female (first description). Face ovoid; forehead nearly smooth with some scattered impressed; fastigium verticis about 2 times as wide as scape (Fig. 20A). Ocelli very distinct, light yellow; median ocellus obviously larger than lateral ocelli (Fig. 20A).Anterior margin of pronotum slightly projected in the middle, posterior margin almost truncate with median concavity; lateral lobes longer than high (Fig. 20B). Wings shortened; tegmina oval, reaching the middle area of first abdominal tergite, veins simple and subparallel; hind wings shorter than tegmina (Fig. 20B, E). Fore coxae with 1 small spine; fore and middle femora unarmed, hind femora with 12–15 internal and 6–7 external spines on ventral surfaces. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 pairs of spines, middle tibiae with 1 internal spine on dorsal surface; tibiae with 6 internal and 7 external spines on dorsal surface, subapical areas of 1 ventral spine, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spines and 2 pairs of ventral spines. Second and third abdominal tergites with few largely reduced, indistinct stridulatory pegs (Fig. 20D). Seventh abdominal sternite prolonged at posterior margin with 1 pair of small lobes, which directing aside; following a membranous zone with some transverse folds (Fig. 20H). Subgenital plate with wide base, the lateral margins converging to apex, posterior margin with 1 obtusely triangular concavity and the lateral lobes triangular (Fig. 20H). Ovipositor elongate, strongly upcurved at basal area, margins gradually approaching towards apex, the subapical area faintly widened, apices narrowly rounded (Fig. 20F). Coloration. Body light brown. Frons, genae, mandibles and anterior area of fastigium verticis black. Eyes black; ocelli yellow. Base of scape black. Pronotum with a broad longitudinal pink stripe along the midline; posterior margin black, which extending to the middle area of lateral lobes. Tegmina light brown, cells black. Ocellarnaca longilobulata sp. nov. K叶DflDzễ Figs. 1–2 Description. Male. Face ovoid; forehead nearly smooth with some scattered impressed; fastigium verticis about 1.4 times as wide as scape (Fig. 1A). Ocelli very distinct, light yellow; median ocellus slightly larger than lateral ocelli (Fig. 1A). Anterior margin of pronotum slightly projected in the middle, posterior margin almost truncate with median concavity; lateral lobes longer than high (Fig. 1B). Fore coxae with 1 spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed, hind femora with 3–4 internal and 6 external spines on ventral surface. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 ventral spurs on both sides on ventral surfaces, including one pair of apical spurs; hind tibiae with 7–8 internal and 8 external spines on dorsal surface, ventral surface with 1 pair of subapical spurs, apices with 1 pair of dorsal and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Tegmina surpassing the apex of abdomen (Fig. 2A–B). Tegmen (Fig. 2C–D): radius with two branches: both forked near tip; MA has a common stem with radius, arising as first posterior branch of radius before basal third; media posterior absent; cubitus anterior forks before basal third into two veins, CuA1 and CuA2; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins, the last two with common base. Second and third abdominal tergites with two rows of stridulatory pegs separately (Fig. 1D). Eighth abdominal tergite prolonged (Fig. 1E). Ninth abdominal tergite projecting backwards, forming an angular (Fig. 1E), the apical half curved ventrad and split along the midline, both sides swollen and terminating into a small process on ventral margin, ventral surface of the process with one slender spine one each side (Fig. 1F–G). Cerci slender, apices subacute. Subgenital plate wider than long, posterior margin with rectangular lobe and ventral surface of the lobe with obviously median carina (Fig. 1H–I). Styli inserted on the lateral area of posterior margin of subgenital plate. Female. Unknown. Coloration. General color yellowish brown. Face, genae and labrum reddish brown (Fig. 1A). Ocelli pale yellow (Fig. 1A). Mandibles black. Pronotum with darker margins (Fig. 1B). Tegmina light brown. Dorsal surface of abdomen medium or reddish brown. Measurements (mm). The new species differs from other Ocellarnaca species in: body slender, median ocellus smaller than congeneric species, about as large as lateral ocelli (Fig. 1A); male ninth abdominal tergite split along the midline, both sides swollen and terminating into a small process on ventral margin, ventral surface with one slender spine one each side (Fig. 1F–G); posterior margin of male subgenital plate with rectangular lobe and ventral surface of the lobe with obviously median carina (Fig. 1H–I).

2 Ocellarnaca nigrofemora sp. nov. (Figs 2, 4) Description. Body medium. Face ovoid, frons smooth. Fastigium verticis broad, width as about two times that of antennal scapus. Eyes ovoid, comparatively small, protruding outwards. Median ocellus large; lateral ocelli small. Pronotum short and broad, anterior margin lightly protruding forward, posterior margin slightly concave. Second and third abdominal tergites each with two rows of stridulatory pegs. Wings comparatively long, reaching apex of postfemur. Tegmina: Radius with two branches: media anterior has a common stem with radius, arising after end of basal half; media posterior absent; cubitus anterior undivided; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins plus a short and weak incomplete vein at hind margin of tegmen. Hindwings shorter than tegmina. Legs. Procoxa with a spine at anterior margin, profemur and mesofemur unarmed on ventral surfaces, protibia and mesotibia with four pairs of long spines and a pair of short apical spurs on ventral surfaces. Postfemur with 7 inner spines and 5 outer spines on ventral surface; posttibia with 5–6 spines on both sides on dorsal surface separately, apex with a pair of dorsal spurs and two pairs of ventral spurs. Coloration. Head and pronotum yellowish brown, labrum reddish brown, mandible brown. Eyes brown. Median ocellus yellowish white, lateral ocelli light yellow. Profemur and protibia black, spines and spurs on ventral surface light. Mesotibia is similar to protibia, but dorsal surface on mesofemur grey. Postfemur with dorsal surface grey; posttibia black. Veins light, cells brown. Male eighth and ninth abdominal tergites black, projections of ninth abdominal tergite black including the appendages. Male. Ninth abdominal tergite shorter, subapex of ventral surface with one pair of short conical projections, distance between which wide, apices rounded; ventral surface of every projection with a robust and short process. Cerci long conical, apices rounded. Subgenital plate broad and short, posterior margin concave. Styli medium length, cylindrical, apices rounded, inserted on lateral sides of subapex of subgenital plate. Female. Unknown. Specimen examined. Holotype: male, Bingzhongluo, Gongshan, Yunnan, China, 11 August, 2018, collected by Kai Sun and Zhi-Peng Li. Measurement (mm). Body: ♂ 21.0; pronotum: ♂ 4.9; tegmen: ♂ 15.5; postfemur: ♂ 12.0. Discussion. The new species is different from known species of the congener in: male ninth abdominal tergite with one pair of short conical projections on subapex of ventral surface, distance between wide, apices rounded; ventral surface of every projection with a robust and short conical process; legs black. Etymology. The new species is named for black femora; from Latin nigr - (black) and femor -(femora).

Ocellarnaca brachyptera sp. nov. (Fig. 1) Description. Body medium. Head: Face ovoid; occiput nearly smooth; fastigium verticis broader, about two times as width of scapus. Eyes comparatively small, ovoid, protruding outwards. Ocelli very distinct, light yellow; median ocellus very large, lateral ocelli small. Pronotum broad and short, anterior margin slightly protruding forward, posterior margin concave. Abdominal tergites of two and three each with two rows of stridulatory pegs. Wings shortened. Tegmina:Apices of male tegmina reaching middle area of first abdominal tergite, veins parallel. Hind wings shorter than tegmina, not exposed. Legs. Procoxa with a spine at anterior margin, profemur and mesofemur unarmed on ventral surfaces, their tibiae with four pairs of long spines and a pair of short apical spurs on ventral surfaces. Postfemur with 6–8 spines on outer margin and 14–16 spines on inner margin of ventral surface; posttibia with 6–7 spines at both sides on dorsal surface separately, a pair of dorsal apical spurs and two pairs of ventral apical spurs, and a pair of subapical spurs. Coloration. Body light brown. Frons, genae, mandibles and anterior area of fastigium verticis black. Eyes black; median ocellus light, lateral ocelli light yellow. Scapus with base black, other area light straw brown. Pronotum with a broad longitudinal pink stripe in the midline; posterior area with a black stripe along the edge, which reaching anterior margin of lateral lobe. The spine on procoxa black, basal areas and apical areas of protibia and mesotibia black separately, apical area of tarsus and apical half of claw dark brown. Apical area, ventral surface of postfemur and base and apex of posttibia black; spines and spurs on posttibia black. Tegmen and hindwing veins light, cells brown. Sternites of thorax black, every abdominal sternite with a pair of black spots, eighth and ninth abdominal tergites black. Male. Eighth abdominal tergite long, ninth abdominal tergite comparatively short, globular, apex split, with a pair of stout and short projections, apices rounded; with an appendage on inner surface of basal area separately, which with base broad and apex acute. Subgenital plate broad and short, apical half with a rectangle-shaped bulge on the midline, posterior margin rounded. Styli medium length, conical, apices subacute, inserted on subapex of subgenital plate. Cerci long conical, apices rounded. Female. Unknown. Specimen examined. Holotype: male, Tiantaishan, Yizhang, Hunan, China, 4 August 2021, Jian-Yu Chen. Measurement (mm). body: ♂ 22.0; pronotum: ♂ 4.5; tegmen: ♂ 3.8; postfemur: ♂ 12.0. Discussion. The new species differs from the known species of the genus by tegmina distinctly short, only reaching the middle of first abdominal tergite, oval. Etymology. The name of the new species refers to male with short wings; from Greek brachy -(short), and pter -(wing).

The new species is similar to O. brevicauda Li et al. 2014 with regard to the appendages of the male ninth abdominal tergite that are lateral instead of in middle of apex as in other species of the genus and the seventh sternite female has no medial process but instead the lateral angles produced. It differs from O. brevicauda by a longer lateral appendage of the ninth tergite that is distinctly curved and at tip with serrate margin and by the female subgenital plate that has distinct full-length bulging lateral margins separated from disc by a distinct furrow and the apical margin has a wider concave excision, additionally the seventh sternite has distinct compressed apico- lateral expansions and a wide and deep excision in between with subtruncate bottom while in the subgenital plate of O. brevicauda the lateral bulges are only indicated at very base and the apical excision is narrow while the seventh sternite has the apical margin as whole concave with rounded lateral angles. Description. Rather short and stout species. Head: Face ovoid; forehead nearly smooth with some scattered impressed dots and very fine transverse riffles; fastigium verticis moderately wider than scapus, separated by a transverse suture from fastigium frontis; ocelli very distinct, light yellow; median ocellus very large; subocular furrow indistinct (Fig. 22A). Ocellarnaca Gorochov, 2004 Type species: Ocellarnaca ocellata Gorochov, 2004 Discussion. The genus is closely related to Eugryllacris. It differs by the somewhat brachypterous wing condition resulting in rather short oval fore wings with subparallel veins, and the large conspicuous median ocellus. The projections from male ninth abdominal tergite are larger and more diversified and often consist of a wide trunk with a narrow appendage (Fig. 23). Ocellarnaca fusca sp. nov. Figs. 21 C–D, 22C–F, 24C–D Material examined. Holotype (female): Vietnam: Hanoi prov., BaVi N.P., (21°4'4''N, 105°21'30''E), 25– 29.vi.2015, coll. J. Constant & J. Bresseel (I.G.: 33.092)—(Brussels RBINS). Other specimens: same data as holotype— 1 female (Brussels RBINS). Diagnosis. The new species is similar to O. disjuncta sp. nov. in general appearance and with regard to the female abdominal apex. It differs by the apico-lateral projections of the seventh sternite that are shorter and more roundly projecting than in O. disjuncta and especially by the subgenital plate that is provided with a distinct basal groove, by the apical lobes that are in top view rounded at tip not truncate, and in lateral view the subgenital plate is in basal area bulgy then strongly narrowed and slightly curved while in O. disjuncta it is in lateral view about equally elevated, strongly curved before apical margin that terminates in a lateral angle. The coloration of the wings of O. fusca sp. nov. is similar to that of O. wolffi (Krausze, 1906). But O. fusca has a short and upcurved instead of a long ovipositor and less strongly reduced wings with larger surface of the hind wings. Moreover, the shape of the seventh abdominal sternite of female and the shape of the subgenital plate are quite unique in new species. Description. Rather short and stout species. Head: Face ovoid; forehead with transverse furrows and fine riffles and scattered impressed dots; fastigium verticis distinctly wider than scapus, separated by a transverse suture from fastigium frontis; ocelli very distinct, whitish; median ocellus very large; with week, indistinct subocular furrows (Figs. 22 C–D). Abdominal tergites two and three with very small stridulatory pegs. Wings about reaching hind knee (Figs. 21 C–D). Tegmen: Radius with two branches; RS arises in apical third and forks once more near tip; media anterior has a common stem with radius, arising as first posterior branch of R in about mid-length of tegmen; media posterior absent; cubitus anterior undivided; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 6 anal veins, the last vein shortened. Legs: Fore coxa with a spine at fore margin; fore and mid femora unarmed; fore and mid tibiae with four pairs of large ventral spines and one pair of smaller ventral spurs; hind femur with 5–9 external and 10–12 internal spines on ventral margins, the basal spines very small; hind tibia with spaced spines on both dorsal margins, ventral margins with one pre-apical spine; with 3 apical spurs on both sides. Coloration (holotype): General color light medium brown with femora except for baso-dorsal area and tibiae of all legs black. Face dark maroon brown except for light ocelli, towards genae and mandibles darker; ventral area of clypeus yellowish. Tegmen with veins, veinlets and immediately bordering areas white; cells dark brown, towards anterior and apical margins paler; hind wing dark brown, lighter towards tip; main veins blackish brown, lighter towards anterior margin and tip; cross-veins bordered on both sides by white bands. Ovipositor in basal area black, except for light ventral surface, afterwards yellowish brown. Coloration (second female): General color light to medium brown without distinct pattern except for wings; legs medium to dark brown. Face uniformly reddish brown except for light ocelli; ventral and lateral margins of clypeus yellowish, mandibles dark brown. Tegmen semi-transparent whitish, towards middle and base yellowish, with greyish or yellow veins and veinlets, cells with pale brown, towards base dark brown spots in middle; hind wing semi-transparent greyish with yellowish brown main veins and grey cross-veins, cells with grey spots in middle. Male unknown. Female. Seventh abdominal sternite longer than preceding sternite; with medial furrow; widening apically with greatly rounded apico-lateral angles and wide, faintly concave apical margin; surface black or blackish brown except for pale apical and apico-lateral margins (Fig. 24D). Subgenital plate wide-bilobate with a large and deep transverse basal groove; surface black, only bottom of groove yellowish; in lateral view bulbous in more than basal half, narrow and curved in apical area (Fig. 22F, 24C). Ovipositor in subbasal area strongly upcurved, afterwards only faintly curved, lateral surface with longitudinal furrow; margins approaching till about middle of upcurved area then diverging again; tip subobtuse (Fig. 22F). Measurements (2 females).—body w/wings: 25–27; body w/o wings: 22; pronotum: 5.5–6.5; tegmen: 17–19; tegmen width: 6.5–8.9; hind femur: 13–15; antenna: 80–120; ovipositor: 9 mm. Discussion. Apart from the holotype there was a second female collected at the same place and time that had not been fully hardened after final molt. In that female the subgenital plate is distorted with the lateral parts are flat and flipped mediad. It is also of much lighter color than the holotype. Etymology. Ovipositor falcate, mainly in basal area strongly curved, with gradually approaching margins towards apex; tip subacute (Fig. 22H). Head: Face ovoid; forehead nearly smooth with some scattered impressed dots and very fine transverse riffles; fastigium verticis moderately wider than scapus, separated by a transverse suture from fastigium frontis; ocelli very distinct, light yellow; median ocellus very large (Fig. 22M). Abdominal tergites two and three each with two rows of stridulatory pegs. Wings shortened, in male about reaching tip of abdomen but not hind knees, in female leaving last abdominal tergites uncovered (Figs. 21 E���F). Tegmen: Radius with two branches: both unforked or RS forked once; media anterior has a common stem with radius, arising as first posterior branch of radius at about end of basal third; media posterior absent; cubitus anterior undivided; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 5 anal veins. Legs: Fore coxa with a large spine at fore margin; fore and mid femora unarmed; fore and mid tibiae with 4 pairs of large ventral spines and one pair of smaller ventral spurs; hind femur with 6���8 external and 14���15 internal spines on ventral margins; hind tibia with spaced spines on both dorsal margins, ventral margins with one preapical spine; with 3 apical spurs on both sides. Coloration. General color brown without distinct pattern except for wings; vertex with dark spots at internal margins of compound eyes, variation: male with black spot at hind margin of pronotum, male with black hind margin. Face uniformly brown except for light ocelli; mandibles black. Tegmen dark brown with light colored veins and veinlets; hind wing yellowish or light brown, veins little darker, the cells between veins and cross-veins with a dark brown spot in middle, borderlines light. Male. Ninth abdominal tergite globular, apical surface furrowed and then angularly divided, medio-ventral angles extended into a narrow, little curved and dorsally flattened process with acute tip; above base of process with another process that is black, dorso-ventrally compressed but little vaulted and with rounded tip (Figs. 23 D��� E). Subgenital plate wider than long with medial furrow, posterior-central area little depressed, lateral margins convex, apical margin truncate but at end of medial furrow little projecting; styli shorter than plate, inserted inside of latero-apical angles (Fig. 23F). Female. Seventh abdominal sternite prolonged, simple; with 2 small membranous extensions at hind margin. Subgenital plate wide at base with concave, approaching lateral margins, apical margin roundly excised, on both sides with subacute angles; basal and central areas and lateral margin in mid-length membranous, only lateral margin at base and apical area sclerotised; lateral margins in apical area strongly swollen with widening furrow in between (Fig. 24E). Ovipositor elongate, strongly curved in basal area, slightly curved thereafter, lateral surface furrowed, margins gradually approaching towards apex; tip subacute (Fig. 22N).
