Dieser Fahrplan richtet sich an Organisationen, die sich für eine bienenfreundliche Landschaft einsetzen. Der Fahrplan besteht aus einer Übersicht von Erfolgsfaktoren für die Umwandlung eines Gebiets in eine „Bienenlandschaft“. Es wird zwischen verschiedenen Phasen der Vernetzung und verschiedenen Arten von „Erträgen“ aus einer Bienenlandschaft unterschieden.

This road map can be used by organisations that want to contribute to and support a bee-friendly landscape. The road map offers a clear overview of success factors to transform an area into a ‘Bee Landscape’. It distinguishes between different phases of network development and types of returns a bee landscape can provide.

Cette feuille de route est destinée aux organisations qui souhaitent œuvrer en faveur d'une terre favorable aux abeilles. La feuille de route consiste en une vue d'ensemble des facteurs de réussite pour transformer une zone en une « Terre de pollinisateurs ». Une distinction est faite entre les différentes phases de la mise en réseau et les différents types de « bénéfice » d'une terre de pollinisateurs.

Going beyond the traditional nature based solutions, this paper claims that a landscape-based planning approach should be introduced, solving regional planning problems by emphasising the spatial dimension, the specific time horizon considered and the interaction of all sectoral considerations of both the urban and rural landscapes. This would allow a circular landscape to develop, revitalising the liveability of the countryside, adapting to and structurally counteracting climate change and biodiversity decrease. Thus, a landscape based planning approach to regional spatial policy challenges should allow a transition to a rural-urban space resilient to various external pressures.

Green veining consists of natural linear elements in the landscape. Think of alder girths, hedgerows, hedges and hedges, avenues, thickets, quays and dikes, garden walls, flowery (plot) edges and verges.The green veins is an important habitat for many plants and animals and functions as a corridor for different ecosystems.Dikes are a valuable part of the green veining system in the Netherlands. Many plant species are found on flower rich dikes, such as the little pimpernel, the harebell, wild carrot, parsnip, yarrow and yellow morning star. The many continuous kilometers of flower-filled dikes form a network with a high biodiversity. The dikes are important habitats for many species, where they find food and nesting places. In addition, the linear dikes are used by many species as a connection between other, large habitats. Flower rich dikes are also important for the safety of dikes; they are more resistant to erosion due to the structure of the rooting.

Living labs are understood as collaborative platforms in which actors from research, government and business, and citizens, work together to address complex societal challenges. They are increasingly seen as an instrument to support sustainability transitions, such as transitions to a circular bio-based climate smart society. Living labs can create spaces for joint experimenting and learning by exploring the barriers and possibilities for transition and co-creating appropriate and viable solutions. These high expectations for and increased interest in living labs has sparked a keen interest in methods for assessing the performance of living labs. However, there is not yet an evaluation method or framework that is generally accepted and used. The few existing methods and frameworks mostly focus on the functioning of the living lab itself, and not on its wider impacts. Building on existing approaches and informed by the experiences in three living labs, we developed an assessment framework that enables the capturing of the dynamic role and contribution of living labs. This paper describes the framework and how it was developed. The paper contributes to the development of appropriate ways of assessing the functioning of living labs and the ways in which they contribute to sustainability transitions.

Bij de bestuiving van veel voedselgewassen en wilde planten spelen bloembezoekende insecten een essentiële rol. Het gaat dan niet alleen over honingbijen, maar over een breed spectrum van soorten wilde bijen en zweefvliegen. Er zijn sterke aanwijzingen dat de laatste decennia zowel de aantallen als de soortendiversiteit van bestuivers sterk achteruit zijn gegaan. Via de Nationale Bijenstrategie werken het ministerie van LNV en meer dan 80 maatschappelijke partners (status november 2021) samen om bestuivers en bestuivingsdiensten in ons land te behouden en bevorderen. Dit is in de praktijk lastig, omdat in Nederland honderden soorten bijen en zweefvliegen voorkomen met elk hun specifieke wensen ten aanzien van hun leefgebied. Bij de planning van inrichtingsmaatregelen is het ondoenlijk om met al deze soorten rekening te houden. Toch zijn er wel groepen te onderscheiden van soorten die vergelijkbare eisen stellen aan het landschap. In dit rapport wordt de veelheid aan soorten, teruggebracht tot een beperkt aantal groepen, ‘ecoprofielen voor bestuivers’, en worden per ecoprofiel gerichte bouwstenen gepresenteerd voor een landschap dat aantrekkelijk is voor bestuivers. Deze bieden initiatiefnemers handvaten om zo effectief mogelijk bestuivers te bevorderen.

Met deze notitie en de resultaten van de analyse krijgt het netwerk inzicht in de betekenis van de huidige regionale groene infrastructuur voor wilde bestuivers. Daarnaast krijgen de aangesloten organisaties (gemeenten, maar ook bedrijven en burgers) inzicht in de gebieden waar ze het best maatregelen kunnen nemen voor wilde bestuivers. De maatregelen kunnen bestaan uit bij-vriendelijke beheermaatregelen maar ook uit de aanleg van nieuwe bij-vriendelijke gebieden. Deze notitie geeft uitgangspunten en richtlijnen.
