A study is conducted on the magnetization of two series of samples of lithium doped YBaCuO. The first series of samples are annealed in oxygen and are orthorhomic and metallic while the second series are annealed in argon and are tetragonal and insulating. Results show that magnetization for both samples is similar at temperatures higher than the transition temperatures of the orthombic samples and up to 300 K. At lower temperatures and for tetragonal samples, magnetization is disproportional to the magnetic field.
