【Objective】To meet the requirements of Artificial Intelligence(AI)cluster networks for flexibility in resource allocation and resource utilization, Optical Burst Switching (OBS) has returned to people’s view. More items may be required to the optical module: firstly, a nanosecond optical path switching speed is required, and the receiver of the high-speed optical module is required to adapt to burst mode. Secondly, currently high-speed optical switches that reach the nanosecond level usually have the problem of high optical path insertion loss. Therefore, the link loss of high-speed optical modules is required to meet the Extended-Reach(ER) distance standard.【Methods】To meet this requirement, the article presents the assembly of an ER optical module using a fully commercial chip with a Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) and PhotoDetector (PD) solution. A testing system has been designed for this module, and the subsequent steps of the work are still in progress.【Results】The experimental results show that an optical link budget of 20 dB is obtained, basically meeting the requirements of high-speed optical switching for optical module link budget. The OBS system is acceptable for optical modules with various particle size. We have preliminarily explored the design of three types of 100 Gbit/s lane optical modules: due to limitations in overall power consumption and volume, four wave mixing, and difficulties in coupling with multiple Avalanche PhotoDetectors(APD), the implementation of 4-way ER4 optical modules is much easier than 8-way ER8 modules. The ER2 module with two optical channels can adopt the coaxial process Electro-absorption Modulation Laser(TO-EML)+ small aperture APD scheme, which has the advantages of easy implementation, high cost-effectiveness, and mature supporting chips.【Conclusion】Therefore, 200 Gbit/s ER2 is the optimized choice for OBS systems

Objectives: This study was to investigate the correlation between oxidative balance score (OBS) and the prevalence of kidney stones in the general adult population. Materials and methods: We conducted an analysis using data from the 2007–2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) project, including 17,988 participants. The OBS was computed based on previous research, combining 16 dietary factors and 4 lifestyle factors. Multiple logistic regressions and restricted cubic spline (RCS) regressions were utilized to explore the associations between OBS and kidney stone prevalence. Results: Our analysis included 1,622 adults with kidney stones and 16,366 adults without kidney stones. The average age of participants was 46.86 ± 0.27 years, with 50.72% being male. The median OBS was 22.00 (17.00, 27.00). After adjusting for all covariates, each one-unit increase in OBS was associated with a 3% decrease in kidney stone prevalence (odds ratio [OR] = 0.97 [0.96–0.98], P < 0.001). Moreover, compared to the first quartile, the fourth quartile of OBS (OR = 0.65 [0.50–0.84], P = 0.001) exhibited a negative association with kidney stone prevalence after adjusting for multiple variables. Furthermore, we observed a non-linear negative relationship between OBS and kidney stone prevalence, with inflection points at 18.2 (P for nonlinearity = 0.048). Stratified analysis did not identify any variables significantly affecting the results. Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) have been found in toilet paper in Europe, the United States, and Africa; however, their presence in Chinese household paper has not been investigated. In this study, 21 legacy and 30 emerging PFASs were analyzed in tissue and toilet paper from China, including 48 samples of different origins and materials. Median concentrations of chlorinated polyfluorinated ether sulfonates (Cl-PFESAs), hexafluoropropylene oxide homologs (HFPOs), and p-perfluorous nonenoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS) were 0.32, 0.19, and 0.10 ng/g dry weight (dw), respectively. The detection frequencies (DFs) of Cl-PFESAs and OBS both were greater than 96%, followed by hexafluoropropylene oxide trimer acid (HFPO-TrA, DF: 85%). Notably, the level of HFPO-TrA in one sample was as high as 540 ng/g dw, indicating a potential environmental risk to humans. In addition, the concentrations of Cl-PFESAs in toilet paper were significantly higher than that in tissue (p < 0.05). However, no significant differences were observed in the concentrations of PFASs in tissue and toilet paper from different materials and origins. This suggests that PFASs, particularly emerging PFASs, are widely detected in tissue and toilet paper products across China, and their presence is a potential source of landfill contamination and human exposure.

The escalating consumption of LPG in Indonesia has prompted the country's National Oil & Gas Company to embark on constructing a new LPG Facility. This paper addresses the imperative to streamline the Front-End Loading (FEL) stage to prevent cost and schedule overruns due to scope creep. The primary objective is to formulate a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the LPG Facility Construction project, aimed at facilitating accurate cost estimation and scheduling processes for diverse stakeholders. Using the unfolded tesseract theory to analyze stakeholder needs and elucidate the object-oriented WBS, a Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) analysis was conducted. The study concludes that a multidimensional WBS, particularly employing OmniClass, is the optimal choice for addressing the complexities of the LPG Facility Project and meeting stakeholder needs within BIM software. As an alternative for perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), sodium p-perfluorononyloxybenzene sulfonate (OBS) has been widely used in petroleum, fire-fighting materials, and other industries. In order to efficiently and economically remove OBS contaminations from water bodies, in this study, a ternary heterojunction was constructed by coupling BiOBr and BiOI@Bi5O7I for improving the redox capacity and carrier separation ability of the material and investigating the effect of the doping ratios of BiOBr and BiOI@ Bi5O7I on the performance of the catalysts. Furthermore, the effects on the degradation of OBS were also explored by adjusting different catalyst doping ratios, OBS concentrations, catalyst amounts, and pH values. It was observed that when the concentration of OBS was 50 mg/L, the amount of catalyst used was 0.5 g/L, and the pH was not changed. The application of BiOBr/BiOI@ Bi5O7I consisting of 25% BiOBr and 75% BiOI@ Bi5O7I showed excellent stability and adsorption degradation performance for OBS, and almost all of the OBS in the aqueous solution could be removed. The removal rate of OBS by BiOBr/BiOI@ Bi5O7I was more than 20% higher than that of OBS by BiOI@Bi5O7I and BiOBr when the OBS concentration was 100 mg/L. In addition, the reaction rate constants of BiOBr/BiOI@ Bi5O7I were 2.4 and 10.8 times higher than those of BiOI@ Bi5O7I and BiOBr, respectively. Acoustic velocity varies in deep-water environments, and the variable-velocity seawater can affect the dispersion characteristics of Scholte wave. To improve the accuracy of inversion, a horizontal layered-seawater and layered-seabed (HLSLS) model is established with continuously varying velocities for seabed S-wave velocity inversion using Scholte wave. First, we deduced the Scholte wave dispersion equation and the amplitude-depth equation of the HLSLS model based on wave theory. Then, with the real acoustic velocity of the seawater and submarine sediments parameters of the Shenhu area in the South China Sea, we analyzed the influence of variable-velocity seawater on the dispersion characteristics of Scholte wave. Finally, we performed two-dimensional (2D) S-wave velocity inversion on the field OBS multi-component data in the South China Sea. The results showed that the variation of seawater acoustic velocity had a certain influence on the dispersion characteristics of Scholte wave in deep water. BackgroundThere is limited research on the relationship between Systemic Oxidative Stress (SOS) status and inflammatory indices. Adding onto existing literature, this study aimed to examine the association between dietary Oxidative Balance Score (OBS) and lifestyle OBS (which make up the overall OBS), and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) prevalence at different Systemic Immune Inflammation Index (SII) and Systemic Inflammatory Response Index (SIRI) levels.MethodsThis study involved 9,451 subjects selected from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007–2018. The OBS comprised 20 dietary and lifestyle factors. Statistical methods included Weighted Linear Regression Analysis (WLRA), Logistic Regression Analysis (LRA), Sensitivity Analysis (SA), and Restricted Cubic Spline (RCS) analysis.ResultsThe multivariate WLRA revealed that OBS was significantly negatively correlated with both SII (β = −5.36, p < 0.001) and SIRI (β = −0.013, p < 0.001) levels. In SA, removing any single OBS component had no significant effect on the WLRA results of SII and SIRI. Further subgroup analyses revealed that OBS was more impactful in lowering SII in women than in men. Additionally, OBS was more significantly negatively correlated with SII and SIRI in the low-age group than in the high-age group. Moreover, RCS analysis confirmed this linear relationship. Effects of dry and wet grind on peanut oil and protein yield, oil bodies (OBs) stability, fatty acid composition, protein composition and functional characteristics were systematically analyzed. Results showed that peanut oil and protein yields reached highest at dry grind 90 s (92.56% and 83.05%, respectively), while peanut oil and protein yields were 94.58% and 85.36%, respectively, at wet grind 120 s. Peanut oil and protein yields by wet grind was 2.18% and 2.78% higher than that of dry grind, respectively. Surface protein concentration (Г) and absolute value of zeta potential of OBs extracted by wet grind (WOBs) were 11.53 mg/m2 and 18.51 mV, respectively, which were higher than OBs extracted by dry grind (DOBs), indicating stability of WOBs was higher than DOBs. Relative contents of oleic acid and linoleic acid in peanut oil, essential and hydrophobic amino acids in protein extracted by wet grind were higher than dry grind. There was little difference in protein composition between wet and dry grind, but thermal denaturation degree of protein obtained by wet grind was lower than dry grind. Solubility, oil retention, emulsion stability, foaming and foam stability of protein obtained by wet grind were better than dry grind. Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) belongs to perfluorinated and polyfluoroalkyl compounds (PFASs), and is a persistent organic pollutant that has been banned worldwide. As a substitute for PFOS, sodium p-perfluorinated noneoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS) has been widely produced and used in China, and has been detected in various environment media and human body. This article conducts a review of existing research on PFOS and OBS, summarizing their environmental behavior, population exposure, and toxic effects. It is recommended that although the bioaccumulation of OBS is weaker than that of PFOS, the biological toxicity of OBS still deserves attention. Sodium p-perfluorous nonenoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS) is a novel alternative to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), with environmental health risks largely unknown. The present study aims to unravel the adipogenesis effects and underlying molecular initiating events of OBS, which are crucial for understanding and predicting its adverse outcome. In undifferentiated human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs), exposure to 1–100 nM of OBS for 7 days stimulated reactive oxygen species production. In the subsequent multipotent differentiation, hMSCs favored adipogenesis and repressed osteogenesis. The point of departure (PoD) for cellular responses of OBS was 38.85 nM, higher than PFOS (0.39 nM). Notably, OBS/PFOS co-exposure inhibited osteogenesis and synergistically promoted adipogenesis. Consistently, the expression of adipogenic marker genes was up-regulated, while that of osteogenic marker genes was down-regulated. The decreased adiponectin and elevated tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα) secretion were observed in differentiated cells exposed to the mixture of OBS and PFOS. The co-treatment of a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) antagonist alleviated the adipogenic effects of PFOS and its combination with OBS. Moreover, OBS/PFOS co-exposure induced peroxisome PPARγ activation in reporter gene assays, and increased formation of PPARγ - retinoid X receptor α (RXRα) heterodimers measured by co-immunoprecipitation assays. Molecular docking showed interaction energy of OBS (-20.7 kcal/mol) with intact PPARγ-RXRα complex was lower than that of PFOS (-25.9 kcal/mol). Overall, single OBS exhibited lower potency in inducing adipogenesis but is comparable to PFOS in repressing osteogenesis, whereas OBS/PFOS co-exposure increases interaction with PPARγ-RXRα heterodimers, resulting in the synergistic activation of PPARγ, ultimately enhancing adipogenesis at the expense of osteogenic differentiation. The results indicate the potential health risks of increased obesity and decreased bone density caused by OBS and its co-exposure with PFOS, as well as other perfluorinated alkylated substances mixtures.

Telematic services that require low latency for realtime applications and that make use of wireless mobile networks are increasingly popular. In the case of Tele-Surgery services that employ Live Video Streaming (LVS), latency times of the order of 1ms are needed. Given the difficulty of implementing real 5G test scenarios that enable this type of service to be characterized, this paper presents an emulation scenario that uses Simu5G to simulate the network, Wowza as a real video server, OBS Studio for transmission and VLC media player for content playback. This emulation scenario makes it possible to modify such parameters as bitrate, bandwidth, frequency and numerology index in order to evaluate different network configurations. By varying these parameters in a controlled way, packet losses are obtained for different bitrate values. The best quality video was obtained with a bitrate of 3000 Kbps. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Since Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is the dominant protocol on the Internet and optical burst switching (OBS) networks represent the optical transmission solution that can meet future high bandwidth requirements, TCP and OBS networks represent a possible combination for the next-generation Internet. However, a problem with this combination model is that operations at the OBS layer need to be controlled so that false congestion detection at the TCP layer is minimised. Considering the combination of TCP Vegas and OBS, congestion detection at the TCP layer is based on the round-trip time (RTT), where congestion is detected if the current RTT exceeds a given RTTmax. The extra delay may be due to some actual loss, but it may also be due to the extended execution time caused by some OBS layer operations. Therefore, reducing the time of operations at the OBS layer will reduce false congestion detection at the TCP layer. This paper investigates the impact of reducing the buffering time at the ingress node on the false congestion detection rate at the TCP layer. The reduction of the burst buffering time is accomplished by nesting the offset time in the assembly time. The simulation results and analysis show that the transmission efficiency in TCP Vegas over OBS networks is significantly improved; the throughput remains high, and the delivery success rate is significantly increased compared to the conventional buffering mode. Di tengah merebaknya pandemi Covid-19 secara global, pemerintah memberlakukan Belajar Dari Rumah (Learning From Home) di masing-masing daerah selama pelaksanaan PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat). Pendidik khususnya guru memiliki tugas untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan belajar mengajar secara online. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memastikan bahwa guru tidak lagi menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengakses dan menggunakan teknologi TIK, terutama dalam proses pembuatan video pendidikan tentang topik tertentu, dan siswa akan dapat dengan mudah memahami materi yang diberikan. Hal ini untuk dapat memahami dan secara tidak langsung memotivasi siswa didalam belajar. Format pelaksanaannya adalah Luring, dengan tutorial langsung praktek. Para guru juga diberikan proyek mandiri sebagai indikator pemahaman dan peningkatan keterampilan terhadap media pembelajaran video. Pihak mitra memberikan respon positif terhadap pendampingan ini dengan mencoba menggunakannya dan sangat terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian berupa pembuatan video pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi OBS( Open Broadcast Software). Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner dari evaluasi yang diisi oleh guru-guru setelah kegiatan selesai didapatkan 52,2% yang puas dan 45% sangat puas dengan adanya pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran ini.

As an alternative to perfluorooctane sulfonate, sodium p -perfluorous nonenoxybenzene sulfonate (OBS) has been widely used and caused ubiquitous water pollution. However, its toxicity to aquatic organisms is still not well known. Therefore, in this study, parental zebrafish were exposed to OBS at environmentally relevant concentrations from ∼ 2 h post-fertilization to 21 days post-fertilization (dpf) in order to investigate the thyroid disrupting effects in F0 adults and F1 offspring. Histopathological changes, such as hyperplasia of thyroid follicular epithelia and colloidal depletion, were observed in F0 adults at 180 dpf. In F0 females, thyroxine (T4) levels were significantly reduced in 30 and 300 μg/L exposure groups, while triiodothyronine (T3) levels were significantly increased in 3 μg/L exposure group. For F0 males, significant increases of T4 and T3 levels were observed, revealing the sex-specific differences after the OBS exposure. The transcription levels of some key genes related to the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis were significantly disrupted, which induced the thyroid endocrine disruption effects in adult zebrafish even after a prolonged recovery period. For F1 offspring, the thyroid hormone (TH) homeostasis was also altered as T4 and T3 levels in embryos/larvae exhibited similar changes as F0 females. The transcription levels of some key genes related to the HPT axis were also significantly dysregulated, suggesting the transgenerational thyroid disrupting effects of OBS in F1 offspring. In addition, the decreased swirl-escape rate was observed in F1 larvae, which could be caused by disrupting gene expressions related to the central nervous system development and be associated with the TH dyshomeostasis. Therefore, parental OBS exposure at early life stage resulted in thyroid endocrine disruption effects in both F0 adult zebrafish and F1 offspring, and caused the developmental neurotoxicity in F1 larvae. Improving the dispersion or suspension of magnesium oxide micro/nanoparticles in fluorocarbon solvent is the key to ensure the efficient and stable deacidification of paper. Here, we chose a dispersant of sodium perfluorononenoxybenzene sulfonate (OBS), to improve the dispersion stability of nano magnesium oxide (nano MgO) in a fluorocarbon solvent without affecting original performance of paper, and then optimized deacidification performance of paper. After addition of OBS, nano MgO was able to stably disperse in fluorocarbon solvent for up to 1 h. With 0.1 wt% OBS, nano MgO could have excellent deacidification effect and good alkali reserves on paper with different ages. In addition, the physical properties had been slightly impacted. MgO is uniformly dispersed in the cross-section of paper fibers, contributing to increasing the strength of paper sheet. The crustal velocity structure in the South Yellow Sea (SYS) Basin is crucial for understanding the basin’s geological structure and evolution. OBS (ocean-bottom station) data from the OBS2013 line have been used to determine the crustal velocity structure in the SYS. The velocity model of the upper crust in the northern SYS was determined using first-arrival traveltime tomography. The model showed a higher resolution shallow crustal velocity structure but a lower resolution middle-lower crustal velocity structure. The crustal velocity structure, together with the Moho discontinuity in the SYS Basin, was also constructed using a human–computer interactive traveltime simulation, and the result was highly dependent on the prior knowledge of the operator. In this study, we reconstructed a crustal velocity model in the SYS Basin using a joint tomographic inversion of the traveltime and its gradient data of the reflected and refracted waves picked from the OBS data. The resolution of the inverted velocity structure from shallow-to-deep crust was improved. The results revealed that the massive high-velocity body below the Haiyang Sag of the Jiaolai Basin extends to the Qianliyan Uplift in the SYS; the low-velocity Cretaceous strata directly cover the pre-Sinitic metamorphic rock basement of the Sulu orogenic belt; and the thick Meso-Paleozoic marine strata are retained beneath the Meso–Cenozoic continental strata in the northern depression. The Moho depth in the SYS Basin ranges from 28 to 32 km.

Dietary exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) has been a concern for many years. Previous studies demonstrated that foods such as meat, milk, fish, vegetables, and tuber crops could be potential sources of human exposure to PFAS. However, research on PFAS contamination in grains remains limited. Therefore, this study conducted a comprehensive investigation of PFAS contamination in raw grains from major grain-producing regions in China. Among all grain species, soybeans exhibited the highest Σ 16 PFAS level (1.01 ng/g dw), followed by rice (0.570 ng/g dw), wheat (0.542 ng/g dw), and maize (0.245 ng/g dw). Short-chain perfluoroalkyl carboxylates (PFCAs) displayed higher detection frequencies compared to their long-chain homologues and perfluoroalkyl sulfonates (PFSAs). Perfluorobutanoic acid (PFBA) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) were dominant in wheat, maize, and soybean samples, while sodium p-perfluorous nonenoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS) was predominant in rice. OBS contributed approximately 70 % to Σ 16 PFAS concentrations in rice. The concentration difference of OBS was not significant between indica rice and japonica rice, however, a disparity was observed between early indica rice and mid-late indica rice, suggesting that the growing period potentially affects OBS level in rice grains. Compared to other regions, east China displayed relatively higher PFAS concentrations in grain samples. This finding is consistent with previous studies and may be attributed to the intensive industrial and human activities. The estimated daily intake (EDI) of Σ 16 PFAS in grains from this study ranged from 0.0829 to 3.32 ng/kg bw/day. Background: The oxidative balance score (OBS) serves as an indicator of systemic oxidative stress status, where a higher OBS indicates significant exposure to antioxidants through dietary and lifestyle choices. Studies exploring the relationship between OBS and suicidal ideation are limited. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the association between OBS and suicidal ideation., Methods: This cross-sectional study selected 28,598 individuals aged ≥20 years from the 2005-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey dataset. The OBS was determined using 16 dietary components and 4 lifestyle components. Item 9 of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 was used to evaluate suicidal ideation. The association between suicidal ideation and OBS, dietary OBS, and lifestyle OBS was examined using weighted logistic regression and restricted cubic spline. The subgroup analyses and interaction tests were further conducted to assess the robustness of these associations across different populations., Results: The prevalence of suicidal ideation was 3.35 %. OBS, dietary OBS, and lifestyle OBS were substantially and inversely linked with suicidal ideation in Models 1, 2, and 3 (p < 0.05). The odds ratio for the highest quartile (Q4) of these variables and suicidal ideation in Model 3 was 0.44 [95 % confidence interval (CI): 0.30-0.65], 0.54 (95 % CI: 0.37-0.78), and 0.50 (95 % CI, 0.34-0.74), respectively, compared with the lowest quartile (Q1). The subgroup analyses revealed consistent connections between the three oxidative stress indices and suicidal ideation. The lifestyle OBS was negatively correlated with suicidal ideation, especially in women (p for interaction < 0.05)., Conclusions: The dietary and lifestyle OBSs may influence suicidal ideation by modulating oxidative balance. An antioxidant diet and lifestyle are crucial in mitigating suicidal ideation. Environmental risks caused by emerging per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) have attracted increasing attention. As an important substitute for perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), sodium p-perfluorous nonenoxybenzene sulfonate (OBS) is widely used as a firefighting foam additive and oil recovery agent in China. This study reported the tissue distribution of OBS in KM mice that were administered a dose of OBS at 10 µg/day via daily oral gavage for 7, 14, or 28 days. During exposure, gender-based differences were observed in body weight changes and tissue distribution of OBS. Liver exhibited the highest concentrations (males: 12.57 ± 1.80 µg/g; females: 11.80 ± 5.32 µg/g) and tissue/blood ratios and contributed more than 50% to the whole-body burden of OBS in both male and female mice, showing its ability to enrich PFASs. Furthermore, there were certain differences in the distribution characteristics of the three OBS isomers. Based on its bioaccumulation potential and widespread use, further studies are required on the human exposure risks of OBS.

Sodium p -perfluorous nonenoxybenzene sulfonate (OBS)—one of the main alternatives to perfluorooctane sulfonate—has been increasingly detected in both aquatic environments and human bodies. Therefore, the pathogenic risks of OBS exposure warrant attention, especially its central nervous system toxicity mechanism under long-term exposure. In this study, the effects and mechanisms of OBS on the zebrafish brain at 40 days post exposure were examined. The results demonstrated that at 3.2 μg/L, OBS had no significant effect on the zebrafish brain, but 32 μg/L OBS caused depression or poor social behavior in zebrafish and reduced both their memory and survival ability. These changes were accompanied by histological damage and cell apoptosis. Furthermore, OBS caused the accumulation of excessive reactive oxygen species in the fish brain, leading to oxidative stress and subsequently cell apoptosis. Moreover, an imbalance of both inflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-1β, IL-10, TNF-α, and NF-κB) and neurotransmitters (GABA and Glu) led to neuroinflammation. Additionally, 32 μg/L OBS induced decreases in mitochondrial membrane potential and Na+-K+-ATPase activity, leading to both mitochondrial structural damage and the emergence of mitochondrial autophagosomes, partly explaining the neurotoxicity of OBS. These results help to analyze the target sites and molecular mechanisms of OBS neurotoxicity and provide a basis for the scientific evaluation of its health risks to humans. Due to the increasing attention for the residual of per- and polyfluorinated compounds in environmental water, Sodium p-Perfluorous Nonenoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS) have been considered as an alternative solution for perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS). However, recent detections of elevated OBS concentrations in oil fields and Frontal polymerization foams have raised environmental concerns leading to the decontamination exploration for this compound. In this study, three advanced reduction processes including UV-Sulfate (UV-SF), UV-Iodide (UV-KI) and UV-Nitrilotriacetic acid (UV-NTA) were selected to evaluate the removal for OBS. Results revealed that hydrated electrons (e aq −) dominated the degradation and defluorination of OBS. Remarkably, the UV-KI exhibited the highest removal rate (0.005 s−1) and defluorination efficiency (35 %) along with the highest concentration of e aq − (K = −4.651). Despite that nucleophilic attack from e aq − on sp2 carbon and H/F exchange were discovered as the general mechanism, high-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HPLC/Q-TOF-MS) analysis with density functional theory (DFT) calculations revealed the diversified products and routes. Intermediates with lowest fluorine content for UV-KI were identified, the presence nitrogen-containing intermediates were revealed in the UV-NTA. Notably, the nitrogen-containing intermediates displayed the enhanced toxicity, and the iodine poly-fluorinated intermediates could be a potential-threat compared to the superior defluorination performance for UV-KI. The supply expansion of 5G services and personal smart devices has caused the sharp increase of data traffic and the demand of various services. Again, these facts have resulted in the huge demand of network bandwidth. However, existing network technologies using electronic signal have reached the limit to accommodate the demand. Therefore, in order to accept this request, optical internet has been studied actively. However, optical internet still has a lot of problems to solve, and among these barriers a very urgent issue is to develop QoS technologies. Hence, in order to achieve service differentiation between classes in optical internet, especially in OBS network, a new QoS method automatically tuning the size of data bursts is proposed in this article. In medical area, very high resolution images, which is loss sensitive data, are used. Therefore, the use of optical internet with high bandwidth and the transmission of high realiability is required. However, according to the nature of the Internet, various data use the same bandwidth and a new scheme is needed to differentiate effectively these data. In order to achieve the differentiation, optical delay line buffers are used. However, these buffers is constructed based on some optimal values such as the average offered load, measured data burst length, and basic delay unit. Once the buffers are installed, they are impossible to reinstall new buffers. So, the scheme changing burst length dynamically was considered. However, this method is highly unstable. Therefore, in this article, in order to guarantee the stable operation of the scheme, the analysis of operation conditions is performed. As increasing the growth of the Internet in medical area, a new technology to transmit effectively massive medical data is required. In optical internet, all OBS nodes have fiber delay lines, hardware components. These components are calculated under some optimal traffic conditions, and this means that if the conditions change, then the components should be altered. Therefore, in this article a new service differentiation algorithm using the previously installed components is proposed, which is used although the conditions vary. When traffic conditions change, the algorithm dynamically recalculates the threshold value used to decide the length of data bursts. By doing so, irrelevant to changes, the algorithm can maintain the service differentiation between classes without replacing any fiber delay lines. Contention is the main problem in optical burst switching (OBS) systems that lead to loss more burst by dropping the contended burst. To deal with this problem, we propose a new proactive method which is based on the integration of Real-Time Scheduling Techniques: Earliest-deadline-first (EDF) and round-robin (RR). Based on this consideration, this paper proposes a series of novel coherent interdependence methods to propose a novel OBS edge node Architecture: (i) An adaptive priority system to obtain QoS guarantees, (ii) Admission control and bandwidth distribution to maximize the link throughput. The proposed technique classifies the incoming data packets into two categories: granted service (GS) for high priority and best effort (BE) for low priority. The RR technique is used for scheduling different BE and GS packets when they have the same deadlines while the EDF is used to manage GS packets with different deadlines. In addition, the admission and bandwidth assignment policies vary in function of traffic characteristics. For GS traffic, only the bandwidth used is needed, while the remaining bandwidth is assigned to best effort traffic. With the EDF and RR scheduling algorithms, the proposed edge node design obtains a brand new architecture. The proposed OBS architecture has been tested for dynamic traffic in which both BE and GS traffic arrives according to a Poisson distribution for different scenarios based on traffic distribution and switch resources reservation. In scenario#1, 90% GS traffic and 10% BE traffic and reserve 7% of the switch resources for BE traffic are considered. Therefore, the proposed architecture provides a higher grade of service to the end-users with the guaranteed service level of agreements than the existing architecture that does not implement resource reservation protocols. In addition, the modified OBS-edge node is designed and implemented on FPGA Virtex-11C2V40. The hardware performance analysis shows that the network dimension is a key factor in latency measurement. A $2\times 2$ network dimension can serve approximately 230 Mbps throughput and approximately 400 Mbps in the case when the number of flits (segment of burst) is twice.

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran melalui live streaming youtube berbasis open broadcast software dan whatsaap pada mata kuliah keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh saat perkuliahan mata kuliah keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia semester gasal 2020/2021. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui simak catat rekam, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni bahwa proses pembelajaran daring melalui live streaming youtube berbasis OBS dan whatsaap pada saat perkuliahan berdampak positif hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya keterangan dalam proses pembelajaran yakni mahasiswa dapat memahami penjelasan dari dosen, mahasiswa mampu berinteraksi dalam proses pembelajaran, dan mahasiswa dapat mengulang kembali proses pembelajaran jika merasa ada kesulitan dengan memutar kembali video pembelajaran yang telah ada di channel youtube tersebut.

The estimation of a reliable velocity–depth model from towed streamer marine seismic data recorded in deep water, especially with a complex seafloor environment, is challenging. The determination of interval velocities from the normal move-out (NMO) of the reflected seismic signals for shallow reflectors (<1 km below the seafloor) is compromised by the combination of a long wave path in the water column and the complex ray paths due to topography, leading to small move-out differences between reflectors. Furthermore, low sediment velocities and deep water produce refraction arrivals only at limited far offsets that contain information about deeper structures. Here, we present an innovative method where towed streamer seismic data are downward continued to the seafloor leading to the collapse of the seafloor reflection and the emergence of refraction events as first arrivals close to zero offset, which are used to determine a high-resolution near surface velocity–depth model using an efficient tomographic method. These velocities are then used to perform pre-stack depth migration. We found that the velocity–depth model derived from tomography of downward continued towed streamer data provides a far superior pre-stack depth migrated image than those produced from velocity–depth models derived from conventional velocity estimation techniques. The management of Spodoptera litura by entomopathogenic Nucleopolyhedrosis Viruses (NPVs) is one of the eco-friendly methods. The present study was aimed to evaluate Nucleopolyhedrosis Virus (NPV) against S. litura and its potential as a bio-pesticide. The Occlusion Bodies (OBs) of S. litura nucleopolyhedrosis virus was isolated from infected larvae collected from cabbage field. Pathogenicity studies evaluated three NPV suspensions viz. SpltNPV-native, SpltNPV-commercial and SpltNPV-NIPHM against second and fourth instar larvae of S. litura recorded maximum mortality at 1×109 OBs/ml. The LC50 values of the SpltNPV-native, SpltNPV-commercial and SpltNPV-NIPHM suspensions against second instar larvae were 0.584, 0.540, 0.625 OBs/mm2, respectively, which increased to 0.696, 0.620, 0.756 OBs/mm2 against the fourth instar larvae. The LT50 at 1×109 OBs/ml was found to increase from 146.33, 137.51 and 155.88 h for SpltNPV-native, SpltNPV-commercial and SpltNPV-NIPHM suspension, respectively, against the second instar larvae to 178.51, 162.07 and 187.67 h, respectively, against the fourth instar larvae. The cumulative per cent mortality, LC50 and LT50 suggested that the second instar larvae were more susceptible and easier to kill than the fourth instar larvae. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

El presente artículo da a conocer el impacto que tiene la semilla generadora de tráfico junto con un nuevo algoritmo de ensamble de ráfagas sobre el desempeño de una red de conmutación óptica por ráfagas OBS. En el que el algoritmo de ensamble implementado se caracteriza por ser mixto y adaptativo, es decir, un algoritmo no clásico. El modelo de red OBS tiene algunos parámetros preestablecidos fijos, como la cantidad de canales por enlace óptico, la velocidad por canal, implementación de algoritmos clásicos en los otros procesos del esquema funcional de la red, y otros. Para evaluar el desempeño se analizan la cantidad de ráfagas perdidas transmitidas o con probabilidad de bloqueo. Los resultados muestran el efecto que tiene variar la semilla y el impacto del algoritmo de ensamble propuesto en la probabilidad de bloqueo según el escenario. Cada escenario de simulación tiene una semilla diferente y se implementa para un volumen de tráfico alto específico.

Scholte-wave dispersion analysis is effective at imaging the relatively low shear-wave velocity of shallow marine sediments in marginal seas. The combination of a four-component ocean-bottom-seismometer (OBS) and a towed air-gun source can economically and effectively acquire the marine dispersive seismic data. Extracting higher-order dispersive Scholte wave modes is the most critical problem in the dispersion analysis method. The extremely low shear-wave velocity and severe attenuation in the top hundreds of meters of marginal sea sediment provide an uneven dispersive energy distribution for the four components of the Scholte wave data. The fundamental mode dispersive energy dominates in the vertical component and higher-order modes dominate in the horizontal component. We developed the method of the four-component OBS Scholte velocity-spectra stacking, which can effectively, rapidly, and robustly extract higher-order modes. We imaged the shear-wave velocity structure of complicated shallow marine sediment in the North Yellow Sea using an active OBS seismic profile with a large-volume air-gun array. The fourth higher-order Scholte wave mode can be imaged with the four-component velocity-spectra stacking method with a lower frequency range of 1.0–7.0 Hz. Only the second-order mode can be recognized from the dispersion energy image of the single vertical component. The joint inversion of multimode dispersion curves can provide more accuracy and deeper constraints for the inverted model; thus, the constraint depth with five modes increases by a factor of 1.9 compared with single fundamental mode inversion. The inverted profile suggests a low shear-wave velocity of 123–670 m/s and strong lateral variations within 350 m. The main regional geological structures are shown by the inverted shear-wave velocity structure.

Background: There is limited research on the relationship between Systemic Oxidative Stress (SOS) status and inflammatory indices. Adding onto existing literature, this study aimed to examine the association between dietary Oxidative Balance Score (OBS) and lifestyle OBS (which make up the overall OBS), and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) prevalence at different Systemic Immune Inflammation Index (SII) and Systemic Inflammatory Response Index (SIRI) levels., Methods: This study involved 9,451 subjects selected from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007-2018. The OBS comprised 20 dietary and lifestyle factors. Statistical methods included Weighted Linear Regression Analysis (WLRA), Logistic Regression Analysis (LRA), Sensitivity Analysis (SA), and Restricted Cubic Spline (RCS) analysis., Results: The multivariate WLRA revealed that OBS was significantly negatively correlated with both SII ( β  = -5.36, p < 0.001) and SIRI ( β  = -0.013, p < 0.001) levels. In SA, removing any single OBS component had no significant effect on the WLRA results of SII and SIRI. Further subgroup analyses revealed that OBS was more impactful in lowering SII in women than in men. Additionally, OBS was more significantly negatively correlated with SII and SIRI in the low-age group than in the high-age group. Moreover, RCS analysis confirmed this linear relationship. Compared to dietary OBS, lifestyle OBS exerted a more significant effect on Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) (OR: 0.794, p  = 0.002), hypertension (OR: 0.738, p  < 0.001), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) (OR: 0.736, p  = 0.005), Myocardial Infarction (MI) (OR: 0.785, p  = 0.002), and stroke (OR: 0.807, p  = 0.029) prevalence. Furthermore, SIRI exhibited a significant interaction in the relationship between overall OBS, dietary OBS, and CHF ( P for interaction  < 0.001). On the other hand, SII had a significant interaction in the relationship between overall OBS, dietary OBS, and MI ( P for interaction  < 0.05)., Conclusion: OBS, including lifestyle and dietary OBS, were significantly negatively associated with SII and SIRI. In this study, we measure compliance and coherence signals at 13 broadband OBSs deployed along Cascadia's continental shelf and upper slope. We then use a recently developed technique to probabilistically invert compliance signals for shallow VS structure that makes use of mixture density neural networks. Finally, we compare and contrast our inverted VS profiles and derived properties obtained using this method with previous studies focused on the properties of basin sediments. Plain Language Summary: Long‐period water waves on the open ocean are capable of deforming the seafloor above which they propagate. The physical phenomenon, whereby the seafloor deforms in response to the loading caused by these waves, is known as compliance. The characteristics of compliance depend on the elastic properties beneath the seafloor. Consequently, material properties can be inferred from compliance measurements. In this study, we measure compliance signals recorded by 13 broadband ocean‐bottom seismometers deployed along the continental shelf of the Cascadia Subduction Zone. We then use a technique from the field of machine learning, known as a mixture density network, to determine the most probable range of structures that gave rise to the compliance signals observed by each station. Finally, we compare and contrast our results with other studies on the properties of Cascadia basin sediments. The geodynamic complexity in the western Mexican margin is controlled by the multiple interactions between the Rivera, Pacific, Cocos, and North American plates, as evidenced by a high seismicity rate, most of whose hypocenters are poorly located. To mitigate this uncertainty with the aim of improving these hypocentral locations, we undertook the TsuJal Project, a passive seafloor seismic project conducted from April to November 2016. In addition to the Jalisco Seismic Network, 10 LCHEAPO 2000 Ocean Bottom Seismometers (OBSs) were deployed by the BO El Puma in a seafloor array from the Islas Marías Archipelago (Nayarit) to the offshore contact between the states of Colima and Michoacan. We located 445 earthquakes in four or more OBSs within the deployed array. Most of these earthquakes occurred in the contact region of the Rivera, Pacific, and Cocos plates, and a first analysis suggests the existence of three seismogenic zones (West, Center, and East) along the Rivera Transform fault that can be correlated with its morphological expression throughout the three seismogenic zones. The seismicity estimates that the Moho discontinuity is located at 10 km depth and supports earlier works regarding the West zone earthquake distribution. Subcrustal seismicity in the Central zone suggests that the Intra-Transform Spreading Basin domain is an ultra-low spreading ridge. A seismic swarm occurred during May and June 2016 between the eastern tip of the Paleo-Rivera Transform fault and the northern tip of the East Pacific Rise-Pacific Cocos Segment, illuminating some unidentified tectonic feature.

The crustal structure around the Islas Marías Archipelago has been debated for a long time. An important unresolved question is where the Rivera-North American plate subduction ends and the Tamayo fracture zone begins, from SE to NW. Results from the TsuJal project have shed light on the northwesternmost part of the Jalisco block structure. It is now clear that Sierra de Cleofas and the Islas Marías Escarpment comprise the northwestern continuation of the Middle America trench. However, other questions remain. In this paper, we present the structure of the shallow and deep crust and the upper mantle of the Islas Marías western region through the integration of multichannel seismic reflection, wide-angle seismic bathymetric and seismicity data, including records of an amphibious seismic network, OBS, and portable seismic stations, purposely deployed for this project, providing an onshore-offshore transect of 310 km length. Our findings disclose new evidence of the complex structure of the Rivera plate that dips 8°–9° underneath the NW Jalisco block as revealed by two seismic profiles parallel to the Islas Marías Escarpment. Moreover, we find five sedimentary basins and active normal faults at the edges of tectonic structures of the E-W oriented West Ranges and the N-S trending Sierra de Cleofas. Furthermore, the Sierra de Cleofas is the beginning of the active subduction of the Rivera plate beneath North America. The oceanic crust thickens and submerges towards the south while is coupled with the continental crust, from 6 km at the northern ends of the seismic profiles to 15 km in the contact region and 24 km at the coast and southern ends of them. The continental Moho was not fully characterized because of the geometry of the seismic transects, but a low-velocity layer associated with Rivera Plate subduction was observed beneath the Jalisco Block. Our results constrain the complexity of the area and reveal new structural features from the oceanic to continental crust and will be pivotal to assess geohazards in this area.

Selective adsorption mechanisms of emerging PFAS contaminants on fluorinated MOFs. [Display omitted] • Adsorption of OBS increased with the increasing fluorine content of MOFs. • The oleophobicity of fluorinated structures made MOFs repel hydrocarbon compounds. • The selectivity was due to the hydrophobic and F–F non-covalent interactions which captured OBS molecules. • The novel mechanisms of the selectivity facilitated the target-oriented design of highly selective adsorbent for PFAS. Selectivity is the key for adsorption or recovery of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from aqueous environments. In this study, the fluorinated metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with different fluorine contents were prepared and investigated to evaluate the selective adsorption of an emerging PFAS, sodium p‑perfluorous nonenoxybenzenesulfonate (OBS). Adsorption of OBS increased with the increasing fluorine content of MOFs, and the best fluorinated MOFs showed an excellent selective adsorption capacity. The influence of various co-existing hydrocarbon substances on OBS adsorption was slight. The adsorption amount of OBS was 15-fold to that of the hydrocarbon surfactants (n-caprylic acid). The selectivity was attributed to the fluorinated structures of MOFs whose oil contact angle was up to 101°, and thus the oleophobicity of fluorinated structures made MOFs repel hydrocarbon compounds. Molecular dynamics simulations and density functional theory calculations indicated that the fluorinated structures were able to capture OBS molecules from the long distances (roughly 1–100 nm) via hydrophobic interaction, and then formed a F–F non-covalent interaction which was highly probable to be driven by a dispersion force to further attract OBS fluorinated tails within shorter distances (less than 3.5 Å). Despite recent observations of slow earthquakes along the Nankai subduction zone, none have been reported in the central Nankai Trough between the Kii Channel and Cape Shionomisaki. In November 2018, a very dense array of 96 ocean‐bottom seismometers were deployed by JAMSTEC to acquire active‐source seismic refraction dataset (supplemented by a multichannel seismic reflection profile) from the seaward side of the subduction trough to the accretionary prism off Cape Shionomisaki. We applied traveltime tomography to the refraction data to constrain the P wave velocity down to the upper mantle, coordinating with a migrated seismic reflection profile to confirm the depth of the Moho and interpret shallower structural features. From a comparison with a transect across the Kumano basin, we conclude that structural and physical differences between these two locations, especially the geometry of the subducting plate surface, lead to different slow earthquake activities. Plain Language Summary: The Nankai subduction zone, where one tectonic plate slides beneath another, hosts many slow earthquakes and gives us an opportunity to study the mechanisms of these events. In the central part of the Nankai subduction zone, swarms of slow earthquakes have been observed off the eastern and western coasts of the Kii Peninsula during the last 20 years, but none have been reported in between. Although the slow earthquakes east of the Kii Peninsula have been well studied in the Kumano Basin, the gap zone remains enigmatic. Here we present newly acquired high‐density seismic survey data within this gap in slow earthquakes that reveal the detailed subseafloor structure as deep as the downgoing oceanic crust. We discuss the different subsurface structures and physical properties in these two locations, especially the surface geometry of the downgoing plate, which might account for the distinct behaviors of slow earthquakes. Background: Limited research has examined the association between Oxidative Balance Score (OBS) and mortality, particularly in individuals with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. This study investigates the correlation between OBS and H. pylori infection and their impacts on all-cause mortality within a cohort of individuals, considering both infected and uninfected individuals. Methods: Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1999-2018, comprising 4,532 participants, were analyzed. Logistic regression analyses assessed the relationship between H. pylori infection and relevant covariates. Cox regression and restricted cubic spline analysis evaluated the association between total OBS, lifestyle OBS, dietary OBS, and all-cause mortality in H. pylori -positive and -negative individuals. Results: Restricted cubic spline modeling revealed a linear relationship between total OBS and all-cause mortality, particularly in H. pylori -negative patients. Total OBS, dietary OBS, and lifestyle OBS inversely correlated with H. pylori infection, even after adjusting for confounders. Higher dietary OBS was associated with decreased mortality risk exclusively in H. pylori -positive individuals, while lifestyle OBS was associated with mortality only in H. pylori -negative individuals. These findings underscore the complex relationships between OBS, H. pylori infection, and mortality, stressing the importance of infection status in assessing oxidative balance's impact on health. Conclusion: In this sample, higher OBS was associated with lower H. pylori infection risks. Dietary OBS correlated significantly with all-cause mortality in H. pylori -positive individuals, while lifestyle OBS was notably associated with mortality in H. pylori -negative participants.
