Introduction. A special category among induction machines with a massive rotor is occupied by the class of multifunctional electromechanical energy converters, which are integrated with the links of technological processes Problem. The exchange of reactive energy between the source and the electromechanical converter during periods of operation with a low load leads to a significant decrease in its efficiency and power factor. With the use of non-linear loads and taking into account possible resonance, it has become more difficult to improve the power factor by installing capacitor banks. Goal. Increasing the energy indicators of the electromechanical converter by spatial displacement of the main and additional stator windings and internal capacitive compensation. Methodology. Comparative analysis of connection schemes and spatial arrangement of stator windings when using internal capacitive compensation. Modeling and experimental studies of electromagnetic and electromechanical characteristics of a screw electromechanical converter. Results. The distribution of electromagnetic quantities was established and the choice of the angle of spatial displacement of the main and additional windings of the stator phases of the modified converter, which ensure an increase in the value of the electromagnetic torque and power factor, was justified. The results of experimental studies of the screw electromechanical converter are presented. Originality. For the first time, a method of internal capacitive compensation of reactive power is proposed for multifunctional electromechanical converters of technological purpose. Practical value. The use of the proposed method of spatial displacement of the main and additional stator windings and internal capacitive compensation will ensure an increase in the energy performance of the screw electromechanical converter. The aim of the study: to analyze and evaluate the relationship between previous life events of a stressful nature in patients who have surgical diseases of the thyroid gland. Materials and methods. We used the questionnaire method (The Life Experiences Survey Irwin G. Sarason, 1978) of patients before planned surgical intervention on the thyroid gland. The number of positive and negative events that happened to patients during the previous year was evaluated. Results. Among individuals, significantly more adverse events were reported by patients with Graves’ disease (128.0 ± 2.3 points) and proliferative hyperthyroid nodular goiter (105.0 ± 1.7 points) compared to patients treated surgically for euthyroid nodular goiter (53.0 ± 0.7 points of negative events) and thyroid carcinomas (62.0 ± 0.8 points of negative events). Conclusions. It has been proven that stress and negative life events can be triggers for dysfunction and development of thyroid gland diseases. Analysis of a patient survey before thyroid surgery indicated a possible relationship between acute stress and the initiation of Graves’ disease and proliferative hyperthyroid nodular goiter.

Background. The article presents structural changes of the renal medulla in experimental traumatic skin injury in rats under conditions of intravenous infusion of a colloid-hyperosmolar solution of gekoton. It was found that gekoton acts on the structure of the body as a cytoprotector. Objective. To study structural changes of the renal medulla in case of an experimental skin burn injury in rats under conditions of an intravenous infusion of gekoton. Methods. Macroscopic, histological, electron microscopic, laboratory, statistical analysis. The experimental study of morphological changes of the renal medulla in case of burn disease (within 1, 3, 7, 14, 21, 30 days) under condition of exposure to 0,9 % NaCl solution and an infusion of colloidal hyperosmolar drugs with detoxicating, rheological, energetic, antishock effect gekoton and lactoproteinum with sorbitol has been executed in 90 male Wistar rats of 155-160 g. Results. The destruction of microvilli of limbus penicillatus and the breakage of apical region epithelial cells cytoplasm of proximal convoluted tubules of the nephron are typical for the renal medulla in rats with skin burns which were given the gekoton solution during the first three days, one and three days after the experiment began. Conclusion. In case of an experimental skin burn of ІІ-ІІІ grade of 21-23 % of body surface area in rats a remarkable cytoprotective effect of gekoton on the structure of the renal medulla is a morphologic equivalent of positive effect of an intravenous infusion of gekoton. The above-mentioned cytoprotective effect is caused by the induction of mitochondria hypertrophy and hyperplasia, as well as the stimulation of mitophagy which provides the removal of damaged mitochondria and suppresses the progress of cell apoptosis.

The paper is aimed at the comparative analysis of the rates of rat adenohypophysis cell cycle and DNA- fragmentation following the 14, 21 i 30 days after thermal burn in rehabilitation with 0,9 % NaCl solution, lactoprotein with sorbitol and HAES-LX-5%. Materials and Methods. The experimental study has been made on 100 Wistar white male rats, weighted 160- ISO g, provided by the vivarium at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology of NAMS of Ukraine, and carried out on the basis of the Research Laboratory of Functional Morphology and Genetics of Research Center at National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya. Before simulation of pathological state the lateral surfaces of animals' bodies were shaved with shaver and safety razor. The infusion of 0.9% NaCl solution, lactoprotein with sorbitol or HAES-LX-5% was conducted in the lower hollow vein after its catheterization through the femoral vein, made in aseptic conditions. Catheter was sewed subcutaneously, its lumen was filled with heparin titrating solution (0,1 ml heparin per 10 ml 0.9% NaCl solution) after each administration of agents. Infusions were performed once a day during the first 7 days. Catheterization of great vessels and animals decapitation were made under 60 mg/kg intravenous propofol anesthesia. Flow analysis was made on multifunctional research flow cytometer “Partec PAS” (Partec, Germany) in the Research Center at N.I. Pirogov Vinnytsya National Medical University. The analysis of cell cycle was made by means of FloMax (Partec, Germany) software in full digital compliance with mathematical model. Statistical processing of the results was carried out in the STATISTICA 6.1 license package using the nonparametric methods of the evaluation of the obtained results. Results.
