Sulfur/selenium grading is a widely used optimization strategy in kesterite thin-film solar cells to obtain a bandgap-graded absorber material and to optimize optical and electrical properties of the solar-cell device. In this work, we present a novel approach to introduce a [S]/([S] + [Se]) grading for Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4solar cells. In contrast to commonly used methods with slow process dynamics, the presented approach aims to create a fast sulfurization reaction on the surface of pure selenide kesterite absorbers by using highly reactive H2S gas and high sulfurization temperatures in a rapid flash-type process. With a combination of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray emission spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and Raman-shallow angle cross sections spectroscopy, we gain depth-varied information on the [S]/([S] + [Se]) ratio and discuss the impact of different process parameter variations on the material and device properties. The results demonstrate the potential of the developed process to generate a steep gradient of sulfur that is confined mainly to the surface region of the absorber film.

Purpose. Integral assessment of the security situation in the Ukrainian education system under the intensive implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and identification of promising scenarios for the postwar reconstruction of Ukraine, using the example of rural education. Methodology. The scientific research was based on general scientific methods, supplemented by a comprehensive econometric analysis of the main indicators of educational security in Ukraine. Optimisation and integral evaluation methods were also used, which do not require the involvement of experts from various fields of educational activity. The key tool in the integrated multi factor evaluation method is the module of intelligent economicmathematical modeling and forecasting of optimistic, realistic, and pessimistic scenarios for the implementation of digital initiatives for the postwar recovery of the educational system of Ukraine, which is implemented through the method of principles, the “tcriterion” in the calculation of scalar thresholds based on IBM SPSS Modeler, AIProphet, Cloud Pak for Data, and RStudio AI. Findings. The work highlights the key factors influencing the level of security of the Ukrainian rural education system and defines the corresponding integrated index of educational security, which in further research can play a key role in strengthening the economic security of the national economy in the era of postwar reconstruction of the country and the formation of a new digital economy in Ukraine. Based on the obtained integrated assessment of the security of the educational system, the authors have identified probable trajectories for the transformation of educational processes in the context of the use of AI technologies. Key scenarios for the improvement of tactical and strategic management tools in the education sector are proposed in order to accelerate the processes of highquality digital transformation aimed at the postwar recovery of Ukraine. Originality. Based on the developed innovative digital platform “Central European Network for Sustainable and Innovative Economy”, an open source program IISGPT 3 was created, which, unlike the existing analogues, integrates new algorithms for the use of AI technology for forecasting key security indicators based on SPSS and AIProphet. This made it possible to carry out an independent integral assessment, modelling and forecasting of the transformation of the processes of strengthening the educational security of Ukraine in the context of postwar reconstruction. Practical value. The conducted research proves the relevance of the modern national educational policy of digitization and indicates the potential benefits, challenges, and risks, particularly regarding the implementation of a digital environment with AI elements “Dream”, which can become a game changer in Ukrainian education. Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is a subtype of myeloid leukemia characterized by differentiation block at the promyelocyte stage. Besides the presence of chromosomal rearrangement t(15;17), leading to the formation of PML-RARA (promyelocytic leukemia-retinoic acid receptor alpha) fusion, other genetic alterations have also been implicated in APL. Here, we performed comprehensive mutational analysis of primary and relapse APL to identify somatic alterations, which cooperate with PML-RARA in the pathogenesis of APL. We explored the mutational landscape using whole-exome (n=12) and subsequent targeted sequencing of 398 genes in 153 primary and 69 relapse APL. Both primary and relapse APL harbored an average of eight non-silent somatic mutations per exome. We observed recurrent alterations of FLT3, WT1, NRAS and KRAS in the newly diagnosed APL, whereas mutations in other genes commonly mutated in myeloid leukemia were rarely detected. The molecular signature of APL relapse was characterized by emergence of frequent mutations in PML and RARA genes. Our sequencing data also demonstrates incidence of loss-of-function mutations in previously unidentified genes, ARID1B and ARID1A, both of which encode for key components of the SWI/SNF complex. We show that knockdown of ARID1B in APL cell line, NB4, results in large-scale activation of gene expression and reduced in vitro differentiation potential.

We perform time-resolved pump-probe microscopy measurements by recording the local force between a sharp tip and the photo-excited sample as a readout mechanism for the material's nonlinear polarization. We show that the photo-induced force is sensitive to the same excited state dynamics as measured in an optical pump-probe experiment. Ultrafast pump-probe force microscopy constitutes a non-optical detection technique with nanoscale resolution that pushes pump-probe sensitivities close to the realm of single molecule studies.

The aim of the following work was to determine the possibility of using barley malt as a binder in moulding sands technology. The moulding sands prepared on the basis of three kinds of sands, i.e. quartz, olivine and chromite sands were analyzed. In order to determine the properties of moulding sands, typical determinations were made, i.e. moisture content, flowability, permeability, strength properties and abrasion wear. The obtained results indicate that it is possible to use barley malt as an independent binder for masses made of quartz, olivine and chromite sands. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The presented research was aimed at searching for an exact and effective method of determining moisture content in traditional moulding sands. By measuring resonance frequency and quality factor of a waveguide resonance cavity, relative permittivity was determined for different synthetic moulding sands. Analysis of the presented results confirms a linear relation between relative permittivity values and moisture content values in the selected traditional moulding sands. The obtained linear relationship can be used as a reference characteristic for evaluation of humidity of moulding sand.

This paper presents the impact of microwave penetration depth on the process of heating the moulding sand with sodium silicate. For each material it is affected by: the wavelength in vacuum and the real and imaginary components of the relative complex electrical permittivity εr for a selected measurement frequency. Since the components are not constant values and they change depending on the electrical parameters of materials and the frequency of the electromagnetic wave, it is indispensable to carry out laboratory measurements to determine them. Moreover, the electrical parameters of materials are also affected by: temperature, packing degree, humidity and conductivity. The measurements of the dielectric properties of moulding sand with sodium silicate was carried out using the perturbation method on a stand of waveguide resonance cavity. The real and imaginary components of the relative complex electrical permittivity was determined for moulding sand at various contents of sodium silicate and at various packing degrees of the samples. On the basis of the results the microwave penetration depth of moulding sand with sodium silicate was established. Relative literature contains no such data that would be essential to predicting an effective process of microwave heating of moulding sand with sodium silicate. Both the packing degree and the amount of sodium silicate in moulding sand turned out to affect the penetration depth, which directly translates into microwave power density distribution in the process of microwave heating of moulding sand with sodium silicate.

W pracy podjęto badania odpadów odlewniczych w postaci zużytych mas formierskich i rdzeniowych w celu określenia skuteczności procesu mikrofalowej utylizacji. Przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów przenikałności elektrycznej oraz tangensa kąta stratności. które określają zachowanie materiałów w polu elektromagnetycznym. Pomiary przeprowadzono na stanowisku falowodowej wnęki rezonansowej, która umożliwia precyzyjne wyznaczenie metodą perturbacyjną wymienionych parametrów. Badania pięciu zużytych mas formierskich i rdzeniowych potwierdzają, iż skuteczność mikrofalowej utylizacji jest zależna od ich właściwości elektrycznych (przenikalności elektrycznej oraz tangensa kąta stratności).
