This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women in the working area of the Oesapa Health Center. This type of research is cross-sectional with simple random sampling. The results showed that the percentage of pregnant women who experienced CED was 57.3%. Statistical test data showed that there was a significant influence between eating patterns, namely food frequency (p-value 0.015), amount of food (p-value 0.018), type of food (p-value 0.014), education (p-value 0.027), occupation ( p-value 0.038) and knowledge (p-value 0.004) with CED events. In conclusion, diet, education, work and knowledge affect the incidence of SEZ. Keywords: Pregnant Women, Chronic Energy Deficiency

This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status, type and duration of contraceptive pills, 1-month injection and Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) injection with menstrual disorders in women of childbearing age in Kupang City. The method used is a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with stratified random sampling. The results showed that there was a relationship between nutritional status and menstrual disorders with a value of (P = 0.000), type of contraception and menstrual disorders (P = 0.000), duration of contraceptive use and menstrual disorders (P = 0.001). In conclusion, there is a relationship between nutritional status, type, and duration of use of contraceptive pills, 1-month injections and DMPA injections with menstrual disorders. LATAR BELAKANG : Pekerja pada instalasi radiologi rumah sakit, memiliki resiko terpaparan radiasi pengion selama bekerja. Radiasi pengion berpotesi menyebabkan ionisasi dalam tubuh, sehingga dapat menimbulkan kerugian bagi pekerja. Salah satu upaya untuk meminimalisir resiko paparan radiasi adalah dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala. TUJUAN : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentikasi efek dari paparan radiasi, khususnya radiasi pengion yang diterima selama bekerja terhadap jumlah leukosit pekerja METODE : Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 orang pekerja pada instalasi radiologi di 3 rumah sakit di Kupang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang ditetapkan. Variabel bebas (X) dalam, penelitian ini adalah dosis paparan radiasi dalam satuan milisievert (mSv), sedangkan variabel terikat (Y) adalah jumlah leukosit darah pekerja HASIL : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan paparan radiasi terhadap jumlah leukosit pekerja pada instalasi radiologi menurut persamaan dengan p-value 0.001 dan R2 = 0.455 KESIMPULAN : Paparan radiasi pengion yang diterima oleh pekerja memberikan dampak sebesar 45.5% terhadap penurunan jumlah leukosit sebesar 0.03 , setiap peningkatan 1 unit dosis. Perilaku pencegahan Covid-19 sebenarnya bukan perilaku kesehatan baru yang harus dilakukan masyarakat. Cuci tangan misalnya, perilaku ini merupakan bagian dari penerapan hidup bersih dan sehat yang sudah lama digalakkan oleh pemerintah. Perubahan hidup dapat terjadi melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perubahan pada sektor predisposisi, penguat, dan pemungkin, yang diikuti dengan perubahan niat untuk berperilaku dan pada akhirnya terjadi perubahan perilaku.

Perilaku tidak aman dari pekerja dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yaitu manajemen proyek, supervisi, kontraktor, individual faktor (sikap, persepsi, pengalaman, umur, penggunaan obat, kompetensi, kemampuan, kondisi psikologi dan kompetisi), kondisi tempat kerja, kelompok kerja, organisasi dan masyarakat. Perilaku tidak aman dikaji menggunakan model perilaku, karena perilaku tidak aman tersebut merupakan bagian dari perilaku pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) atau teori perilaku terencana, untuk mengkaji perilaku pekerja dalam melakukan pekerjaannya.

The tailor is a worker who does in groups or individually working of making garments include the process of measuring body size, making patterns, cutting fabric, sewing and refnement. All the work process likely to cause MSDs because the size of the working process tool that did not correspond to the lenght of the leg so that workers working with bowed and bent in a long time this ultimately leads to muscle pain or MSDs in the worker's body. This tipe of research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional design. The population in this study was all tailor workers who work in Kelurahan Solor, Kupang, especially on the road Udayana as many as 35 tailors. The whole population being sampled in this study. Data were analyzed usingchi squaretest. Reserach findings show that there is a significant realtionship between the size of the working tools of the suitability of anthropometry (p= 0,020) with MSDs. It is then suggested to workers should work with the appropriate office chair with anthropometry workers and do break when already feeling tired or stressed muscles of the body by stretching and relaxation.

Energi panas dapat dikonversi menjadi energi listrik secara langsung dengan menggunakan Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) berdasarkan fenomena yang disebut efek Seebeck. Pemakaian fan yang kurang efektif pada perangkat TEG pada umumnya akan diganti menggunakan cooling tower. Perangkat TEG yang memakai cooling tower ini akan memakai dua fluida berbeda sebagai media pendingin yaitu air dan oli.Rangkaian kelistrikan dari sistem memakai rangkaian seri dan paralel. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi termoelektrik yang rata-ratanya hanya 5%, dan untuk mengetahui performa fluida pendingin dan tipe rangkaian yang efisien. Dalam penelitian eksperimental dilakukan analisis matematis terhadap cooling tower berbentuk kotak dengan dimensi 10 cm x 10 cm x 40 cm yang menggunakan heatsink sebagai cooling tower, dirangkaikan dengan modul termoelektrik 4 buah. Sumber panas yang digunakan yaitu plat pemanas yang dapat dikontrol sehingga tidak menyebabkan over heating pada termoelektrik. Pengambilan data yang akan dilakukan meliputi data voltase, ampere, dan 4 titik data temperatur. Hasilnya menunjukan variabel berpendingin air yang dirangkai seri menghasilkan daya lebih baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 2,2 Watt dan efisiensi sebesar 0,7 %

Penyebaran penyakit berbasis lingkungan di kalangan anak sekolah di Kota Kupang masihtinggi. Kasus infeksi seperti demam berdarah dengue, diare, cacingan, infeksi saluranpernapasan akut, serta reaksi simpang terhadap makanan akibat buruknya sanitasi dankeamanan pangan. Selain itu risiko gangguan kesehatan pada anak akibat pencemaranlingkungan dari pelbagai proses kegiatan pembangunan makin meningkat. Seperti makinmeluasnya gangguan akibat paparan asap, emisi gas buang sarana transportasi, kebisingan,limbah industri dan rumah tangga serta gangguan kesehatan akibat bencana. Selainlingkungan, masalah yang harus diperhatikan adalah membentuk perilaku sehat pada anaksekolah. Permasalahan perilaku kesehatan pada anak usia PAUD dan SD biasanyaberkaitan dengan kebersihan perorangan dan lingkungan seperti gosok gigi yang baik danbenar, kebiasaan cuci tangan pakai sabun, kebersihan diri. Permasalahan lain yang jarang menjadi perhatian sekolah dan orang tua adalah permasalahan tidak sesuainya saranaprasarana belajar khususnya meja dan kursi sekolah dengan antropometri anak.Permasalahan kesehatan tersebut terjadi juga di PAUD dan SD Montesori Kupang sertaPAUD Tunas Zaitun.

Keluarga merupakan komponen penting dalam pencegahan penyakit selain peran dari kualitas lingkungan dan sarana serta prasaran kesehatan. Keluarga juga merupakan tempat pertama kali kehidupan sosial dan pendidikan didapatkan oleh anak, termasuk pendidikan terkait kesehatan. Perilaku hidup sehat yang didapatkan sejak dini akan memicu kesadaran terhadap pentingnya kesehatan baik di keluarga maupun masyarakat. Mengingat pentingnya peran keluarga dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang sehat, pemerintah membuat program Indonesia Sehat dengan pendekatan keluarga.

Occupational stress is a condition in which the work demands exceed the workers' capabilities, resulting in various adverse reactions to the worker's physical, psychological, and behaviour. The inability to answer these demands is very likely a trigger for work stress, that work stress is a situation where a person faces a task or job that cannot or cannot be reached by his / her abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the work stress of health workers (nurses, midwives and doctors) and to determine work stress based on aspects of work stress (physiological, psychological and behavioral) in health workers at Naibonat Hospital, Kupang Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The total sample was 110 health workers, namely 51 nurses, 49 midwives and 10 doctors. In this study, using descriptive analysis to determine the work stress between nurses, midwives and doctors. The results of the descriptive analysis state that there is a comparison of work stress between nurses, midwives and doctors as well as aspects of work stress in terms of aspects (physiology, psychology and behavior) in health workers at Naibonat Hospital, Kupang Regency.

Transportation is a very important part of human life. In fact, the existence of a vehicle can improve all human activities in carrying out the occupied routine, but problems arise such as traffic jams and increased traffic accidents. The Minister of Transportation stated that 4 (four) people died every day due to traffic accidents, 72% occurred in Indonesia and 73.9% involved motorbikes. The incident was an indication that motorbikes were the main cause of traffic accidents and contributed the most victims. The traffic accident data of the East Nusa Tenggara POLDA in 2018 showed a trend of increasing traffic accidents in 2018. The level of population mobilization in the legal territory of the West Sumba POLRES is relatively high. Based on the annual report book of West Sumba POLRES in 2018 there have been traffic accidents with 126 cases. The study aims to determine the factors associated with motorcycle driver traffic accidents in the area of West Sumba POLRES in 2019. This type of research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted at the West Sumba Police Resort with a sample of 53 people. Analysis of the data used the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study indicate that the factors associated with traffic accidents are age (p = 0.004), behavior (p = 0.008), and lamp conditions (p = 0.005).

Low Back Pain (LBP) is the pain experienced in the lower back muscles region. Sitting for a long time as that of online game users may cause such complaints. Other risk factors such as age, sex, BMI, and a longer time to play the game theoretically have a relationship with the incidence of LBP. This study aims to determine the relationship of individual factors and ergonomic factors to the incidence of LBP on the use of online games in Kupang. The study design was cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 38 online game users in Kupang and selected by using accidental sampling technique. Data analyzed by Chi-Square test with the significance of 95%. Result research indicated that individual factors that were age (p = 0.497), gender (p = 0.198), smoking (p = 0.547), and body mass index (p = 0.554) had no association with the incidence of LBP, while the ergonomic factors namely the duration of playing games (p = 0.007) and sitting position (p = 0.004) were related with LBP. Therefore, online game users should consider the duration of the game and sitting position applied in order to reduce LBP.

This research aim to know factors associated with musculoskeletal disorder in blacksmith in Alak Subdistrict Kupang City, 2018. This is an analytic research with Cross Sectional design. Population on this study amounted to 31 that used chi square analyze. This research doing at November 2018 in the three kelurahan that Kel. Alak, Kel. Nunbaun Sabu and Kel. Namosian with 31 worker and used total sampling. Dependent variable: Musculoskeletal Disorder. Independen variable: age, cumulation year of worked, time work per day, smoked habitual, work load, work posture, work temperature and noise.At this research, from 31 respondents be found 26% minor sigh, 39 % mild sigh dan 35% sever sigh. Staticsly associated variable are: cumulation of year worked (-Value 0,047), kerja, time work per day (p-Value 0,013), dan work posture (p-Value 0,031). Doesn’t associated variable: age (p-Value 0,457), smoked habit (p-Value 0,551), work load (p-Value 0,682), work temperature (p-Value 0,764) and noised (p-Value 0,302). Blacksmith must be better work posture and time of worked perday and hope so the other principal review variable that’s no researching at this research.

The hospital is a complex health service institution that needs to implement worker health and safety efforts. Work accidents often experienced by nurses are needlestick injuries. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with work accidents, including knowledge, attitudes, actions, K3RS information, and K3RS supervision of nurses in the inpatient room of BLUD RSU dr. Ben Mboi Ruteng in 2019. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The research population was nurses in the inpatient room. The sample size was 113 nurses taken by simple random sampling. The data analysis used was Chi-square with α = 0,05 (5%). The results showed that the majority of nurses were aged 30-50 years old (80,5%), D3 education level (85,8%), and tenure of 10-20 years (47,8%). Variables related to work accidents on nurses were K3RS information (p-value = 0.008), and K3RS supervision (p-value = 0.028), while knowledge (p-value = 0.170), attitude (p-value = 1,000), and actions (p-value = 0.075) were not related to work accidents. Regular training and supervision are vital to prevent workplace accidents for nurses.

Fatigue at work is an occupational health and safety problem. Internal and external factors affect work fatigue. Internal factors relate to workers' characteristics, while external factors include unconducive work and work environment. This study purposed to describe the work fatigue of traditional workers in the St. Maria Boro weaving industry, Yogyakarta. This type of research is a descriptive survey. The research population and samples were all 48 workers in the St. Maria Boro Yogyakarta Weaving Industry. Data collection of work fatigue used a questionnaire to measure the feelings of work fatigue (KAUPKK). The results showed that the level of work fatigue significantly felt by workers was tired (83.33%). Regular physical exercise (gymnastics) for the workforce is necessary to reduce work fatigue.

A good occupational health safety at hospital can reduce the incidence of work accidents and increase the productivity of each officer. This study was to analyze the factors related to knowledge, perceptions and attitudes of health workers with occupational safety and health behavior. The study design was a cross sectional study. The population was 709 people with a simple random sampling technique of 97 people. The inclusion criteria are all health workers who have been selected by all hospital medical personnel who have contact with patients compared to hospital personnel in the field of management, where their presence has a greater risk of experiencing occupational diseases or occupational accidents (doctors, specialists, nurses, midwives and health analysis) and willing to be research subjects by signing the informed consent. Meanwhile, the exclusion criteria were respondents who were not willing to be the subject of research and medical officers who were on leave/sickness/ permission when collecting data. the instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of statistical tests showed p < 0.05, that is, there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge, attitudes and K3 RS behavior, while the statistical results of the perception level with behavior were p > 0.005. Health and safety behavior of health workers is an action or activity in an effort to prevent occupational diseases and accidents. Therefore, it is hoped that the K3 Hospital can promote health and safety at the hospital regularly with various themes tailored to the needs of the workers.

Background: Earlier studies have shown that about 90% of accidents in the work settings occur because of unsafe behavior and human errors. If workers do not have the right knowledge, favorable attitude, and proper behavior toward safety measures in a safe workplace, all efforts for an accident-free workplace will be in vain. This study aimed to determine factors associated with unsafe occupational behavior among construction workers in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Subjects and Method: This was a cross sectional study carried out in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. A sample of 200 construction workers were selected at random for this study. The endogenous variables were perceive benefit, favorable attitude, and unsafe occupational behavior. The exogenous was good knowledge. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by a path analysis model. Results: Good knowledge increased perceived benefit (b= 0.25; 95% CI= 0.06 to 0.56; p= 0.038). Pembuatan rambut palsu membutuhkan ketelitian dan konsentrasi mata yang tinggi, karena memiliki objek kerja yang kecil dan dikerjakan secara monoton. Jika dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang lama akan menimbulkan ketegangan pada otot mata, sehingga dapat menyebabkan kelelahan mata. Upaya untuk mencegah kelelahan mata yaitu dengan melakukan gerakan senam mata untuk meningkatkan kemampuan saraf dan otot mata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan nilai rerata kelelahan mata antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol terhadap penurunan tingkat kelelahan mata pada pekerja rambut palsu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan eksperimental dengan menggunakan randomized pre-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di CV. Dona Mandiri Kecamatan Kelapa Lima Kota Kupang. Populasi berjumlah 79 orang dan dilakukan acak alokasi untuk memilih subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 17 orang pada kelompok perlakuan yang diberikan senam mata dan 17 orang pada kelompok kontrol tanpa diberikan senam mata. Tingkat kelelahan mata diukur menggunakan kuesioner kelelahan mata yang terdiri atas 10 pertanyaan tentang gejala kelelahan mata. Analisis data menggunakan uji T tidak berpasangan.
