Pengurusan zakat yang cemerlang bergantung kepada kecekapan dan ketelusan amil dalam pelaksanaan urusan kutipan dan agihan zakat. Kewujudan isu yang membabitkan kompetensi dan kualiti keperibadian amil seperti isu ketirisan dan salah guna kuasa telah mengikis kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kredibiliti mereka. Islam telah menggariskan amalan keperibadian pekerja yang komprehensif dan holistik meliputi nilai itqan, qawiyy, amin, serta amalan sifat siddiq, amanah, tabligh dan fathonah. Amalan-amalan ini menjadi teras kepada konsep keperibadian amil berdasarkan ciri-ciri mukmin sejati di dalam al-Quran dan al-Hadis iaitu mengabdikan diri kepada Allah SWT, meraikan pembayar zakat, menyantuni asnaf, dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai murni termasuk dalam aspek komunikasi dan penampilan diri.

The study is a descriptive survey study that aims to see the level of soft skills among Islamic Studies students’ courses. A total of 346 samples from a population of 955 students in Bachelor courses of Islamic Studies from a public university participated in the study. Seven attributes of soft skills (soft skills) for university students as outlined by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE) which include communication skills, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving, lifelong learning, entrepreneurship and professional skills moral ethics were adopted. Data for this study were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 17.0. Min analysis shows that students master the six constituents of soft skills at a high level unless entrepreneurial skills at moderate level. The highest skill mastered was teamwork skills, followed by learning skills and information management skills, leadership skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving, communication skills and moral and professional ethics. Entrepreneurial skills which was mastered the least need to be improved to encourage Islamic studies graduate to join entrepreneurship. The study recommends that the students to pursue other professional fields without forgetting the noble role to preach the message of Islam in any career endeavor. Abstrak Kajian ini merupakan kajian tinjauan secara deskriptif bertujuan untuk melihat tahap penguasaan kemahiran insaniah pelajar kursus Pengajian Islam. Seramai 346 sampel daripada 955 orang populasi pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kursus Pengajian Islam daripada sebuah universiti awam tempatan terlibat dalam kajian. Tujuh attribut kemahiran insaniah (softskill) untuk pelajar IPT seperti yang digariskan oleh Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia (KPTM) merangkumi kemahiran komunikasi, kepimpinan, kerja berpasukan, berfikir kritis dan penyelesaian masalah, pembelajaran sepanjang hayat, keusahawanan dan kemahiran etika moral profesional (KPT 2006) digunapakai. Data kajian ini telah diperoleh melalui soal selidik dan dianalisis menggunakan prisian SPSS versi 17.0. Analisis min menunjukkan pelajar menguasai enam juzuk kemahiran insaniah pada tahap tinggi kecuali kemahiran keusahawanan pada tahap sederhana tinggi. Kemahiran yang paling tinggi dikuasai ialah kemahiran kerja berpasukan diikuti kemahiran pembelajaran berterusan dan pengurusan maklumat, kemahiran kemahiran kepimpinan, kemahiran pemikiran kritis dan penyelesaian masalah, kemahiran komunikasi dan kemahiran etika moral dan profesional. Kemahiran keusahawanan yang paling rendah dikuasai perlu dipertingkatkan sebagai usaha menggalakkan graduan pengajian Islam menceburi bidang keusahawanan. Kajian mencadangkan pelajar Pengajian Islam menceburi bidang-bidang profesional yang lainnya tanpa melupakan peranan mulia sebagai penyebar mesej keislaman dan pendakwah dalam apa jua karier yang diceburi.

This  study  aimed to identify of maqasid  syariah  and   its importance in  the interpretation  of laws in the  Quranic verses.  This study also aimed to analyze maqasid syariah  in  the interpretation of  alcohol laws in the Quran  verses which were applied by Hamka  in Tafsir  al-Azhar.  This study used texts and contents analyses. Inductive, deductive and comparative methods were also used to analyze the data. The main result  of this study showed that the maqasid syariah  was  applied  by mufassir  in  interpretation  of the laws  in the Quran verses. The  study found  that Hamka has  applied the maqasid  syariah  in  the interpretation  of alcohol laws in  the Quran verses in Tafsir  al-Azhar.  This  study concludes  that the application  of maqasid syariah  in  the interpretation  of law verses in the  Quran should be emphasized  by mufassir.  The collection of law verses is important to facilitate Muslims to refer and practice them. The implication  is that the study has created a  maqasidi  thematic  interpretation  methodology and  it can be used as  a method to interpret law verses in the Quran.

This research is discusses about the involvement of a handful of women immoral activities such as beggars, homeless, drug addicts, sex workers, pregnan before marriage in Kuala Lumpur City. This situation affects the image of the capital in the eyes of tourists, problems urban sanitary issues and publicly exposed to infectious diseases. Increased crime, security issues, urban hygiene and social health are rising due to various factors. The objective of the study is to identify women being involved in illegal activities and the methods of building a good rules in lives. This method is uses library research and field study. Field studies include interviews and observations. Focus location of study is Kuala Lumpur City as "hotspots area" the public area. Three women respondents was selected in this study. This findings is that normally involved women immoral activities come from unhappy family backgrounds, low levels of education and engagement in jobs of lucrative income. Another problem is not enough finance for respondents, homeless survivors, family conflict and understanding about Islam is very low. The proposal to rebuild the new life of the women involved in the immoral activities returned to the community is to approach them with wisdom, providing temporary shelter, learn basic Islamic teachings, helping financial resources such zakat and to give skill training which suits their ability.

This study examined 307 elementary school children’s judgements and reasoning about bullying and other repeated transgressions when school rules regulating these transgressions have been removed in hypothetical school situations. As expected, children judged bullying (repeated moral transgressions) as wrong independently of rules and as more wrong than all the other repeated transgressions. They justified their judgement in terms of harm that the actions caused. Moreover, whereas children tended to judge repeated structuring transgressions as wrong independently of rules (but to a lesser degree than when they evaluated bullying) and justified their judgements in terms of the disruptive, obstructive or disturbing effects that the actions caused, they tended to accept repeated etiquette transgressions by arguing that the acts had no negative effects or simply that the rule had been removed. The findings confirm as well as extend previous social-cognitive domain research on children’s socio-moral reasoning.
