Based on the Ising model, using the Monte Carlo method, we examine the magnetic and thermodynamic characteristics of a ferrimagnetic hexagonal nanowire with spin-5/2 and spin-7/2 of alternate layer structure under external and longitudinal crystal magnetic fields, in particular the physical effect of the external magnetic field on compensation behavior. Moreover, the phase diagrams in the ( T , D / J s ), ( T , J int / J s ), and ( T , J σ / J s) planes have been detailed. Consequently, we have obtained single and double compensation temperatures for the determined longitudinal crystal and external field parameters. The magnetizations of type-N, type-Q, and type-M have been found for certain parameter values in our system. This research was compared with other theoretical and experimental findings. Using the Monte Carlo method, we have examined in detail the thermal and magnetic properties of a ferrimagnetic mixed-spin (3/2, 5/2) hexagonal Ising nanowire with a core-shell structure. Under the effects of single-ion anisotropy and exchange couplings, we examined different magnetic properties such as partial and total magnetization, susceptibility, specific heat, and phase diagrams. Our particular results show that the system exhibits the second-order phase transitions as well as the compensation points for certain conditions. Moreover, the multiple hysteresis loops with various shapes and step effects have been detected. These important phenomena are compared with previous theoretical and experimental studies. In this paper, we have examined in detail the behavior of magnetic properties, hysteresis loops, and compensation phenomenon of a ferrimagnetic mixed spin- (3 ∕ 2 , 2) hexagonal Ising nanowire with alternate layers within the Monte Carlo method based on the Metropolis algorithm. The effect of longitudinal crystal field and exchange coupling constants on the total and the sublattice magnetizations, susceptibilities, specific heat, internal energy, as well as hysteresis loops are investigated for particular parameters. The obtained résults showed different interesting magnetic phenomena, such as seven and triple hysteresis loops at low temperatures, and one or double compensation temperatures under certain parameter values.
