Permasalahan sampah plastik merupakan sebuah fenomena lazim yang harus segera dicari alternatif penyelesaiannya. Sampah plastik sendiri merupakan jenis sampah yang memberikan dampak negatif serius terhadap lingkungan. Sungai citarum merupakan salah satu sungai yang paling tercemar di Indonesia, keberadaan sampah plastik dan material lain pada aliran sungai citarum membuat air meluap menjadi banjir pada musim hujan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka pemerintah terkait bekerja sama dengan instansi TNI&POLRI membentuk sebuah tim dengan nama satgas citarum harum yang salah satu fokus tujuannya berupa penanganan lahan kritis dan pengelolaan sampah disekitar daerah aliran sungai (DAS) citarum. Normalisasi sungai citarum dilakukan dengan cara melibatkan masyarakat di sekitar bantaran sungai citarum, salah satu bentuk sosialisasi yang dilakukan kepada masyarakat adalah pemanfaatan limbah botol plastik sebagai media tanam hidroponik. Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan Dosen dan mahasiswa STT Mandala menyasar ke generasi muda di SDN Sukajadi Baleendah, dimana para siswa diberikan bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah botol plastik menjadi media tanam system hidroponik. Dari hasil evaluasi kegiatan, tingkat kepuasan para siswa peserta pelatihan mencapai 96.4% yang membuktikan kegiatan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan berjalan baik dan memuaskan.

Tujuan dari penelitan ini adalah melakukan benchmarking untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi profesi pendidikan dengan studi kasus di Ikatan Guru Raudhatul Athfal (IGRA) Kabupaten Sumedang ke IGTKI Pekalongan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Benchmarking ini dilakukan melalui competitive benchmarking, dalam hal kualitas output. Tahapan benchmarking yang dilaksanakan oleh IGRA Kabupaten Sumedang yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengumpulan data, tahap analisis data dan tahap adaptasi. Indikator evaluasi diri sangat penting sehingga tujuan yang diharapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu tercapai. Dari hasil evaluasi diri ditentukan bahwa hal yang perlu dilakukan benchmarking oleh IGRA Sumedang adalah tentang pengelolaan keuangan, manajemen kepemimpinan dan sumber daya manusia. Benchmarking yang telah dilaksanakan PD IGRA Kabupaten Sumedang mendapatkan hasil dengan terwujudnya gedung sekretariat dalam jangka waktu kurang lebih 3 tahun, etos kerja pengurus semakin meningkat, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana organisasi serta transparasi dan akuntabel laporan keuangan. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to conduct benchmarking to improve the performance of educational professional organizations with a case study at the Raudhatul Athfal Teachers Association (IGRA) Sumedang Regency to ITGKI Pekalongan. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Benchmarking is done through competitive benchmarking, in terms of output quality. The benchmarking stages carried out by IGRA Sumedang Regency are the planning stage, the data collection stage, the data analysis stage and the adaptation stage. Self-evaluation indicators are very important so that the expected goals to improve quality are achieved. From the results of the self-evaluation, it was determined that the things that need to be done by Benchmarking by IGRA Sumedang were about financial management, leadership management and human resources. The benchmarking that has been carried out by PD IGRA Sumedang Regency has resulted in the realization of a secretariat building within a period of approximately 3 years, the work ethic of the management has increased, the completeness of organizational facilities and infrastructure as well as transparency and accountability of financial reports.

Remote door lock control using an android based Arduino. where homeowners can lock and unlock by controlling the door lock via a cellphone that is often carried everywhere. So it is hoped that a remote door locking system can be via a smartphone (smartphone) to assist in locking without having to go to the door. In addition to that, the software created is expected to make it easier for homeowners to lock the door without having to go to the door by controlling the door lock using a cellphone to make it easier to open and lock the doors. The method used is the method of data collection and system development methods. The method of data collection is the method of observation and literature study. While the system development method used is the waterfall method. Application control door locks remotely using Arduino based on android were modeled using UML diagrams (Unified Modeling Language). The conclusion of the application made can be used to lock and unlock the door of the house using a cellphone. The creation of an Android-based home door lock application can make it easier for homeowners to open the lock and homeowners are not afraid to lose their house keys. It is expected that the addition of features in the door lock control applications remotely using Arduino based on android not only controls the door lock.

In the field of transportation, one of the technological developments can be found in the parking service system. However, in the current parking service system, there are still several shortcomings, one of which is the absence of a parking system that can provide information to motorists regarding vacant parking locations. If the condition of the parking lot is congested, it will be difficult for customers to find an empty parking location and cause queues at the parking location. The purpose of this study is to design a system for calculating the availability of parking spaces that can make it easier for motorists to find an empty parking area so that the mobility of vehicles in the parking lot can be organized, efficient, and well organized. This smart parking system is designed using an Arduino microcontroller and uses an infrared sensor to detect the condition of the car in the parking lot. The information provided in the form of parking conditions will be displayed through the LCD and the LabView application so that the information can be known by the driver before entering the parking area. In addition, drivers can also find out the number of parking fees for their vehicles. Results of the simulation show that the prototype can work normally according to the design made.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a means of measuring and monitoring important signals from heart activity. One of the major biomedical signal issues such as ECG is the issue of separating the desired signal from noise or interference. Different kinds of digital filters are used to distinguish the signal components from the unwanted frequency range to the ECG signal. To address the question of noise to the ECG signal, in this paper the digital notch filter IIR 47 Hz is designed and simulated to demonstrate the elimination of 47 Hz noise to obtain an accurate ECG signal. The full architecture of the structure and coefficient of the IIR notch filter was carried out using the FDA Tool. Then the model is finished with the help of Simulink and the MATLAB script was to filter out the 47 Hz noise from the signal of ECG. For this purpose, the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm was used. The results indicate that before being filtered and after being filtered it clearly shows the elimination of 47 Hz noise in the signal of the ECG. These results also show the accuracy of the design technique and provide an easy model to filter out noise in the ECG signal.

Differential quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) modulation techniques and their variants are widely applied in digital communication, such as for high-speed optical fiber, bluetooth, or satellite communication. In its implementation, DQPSK cannot be separated from the potential harmful interference. In this research, a system model has been made for observation and analysis of the interference cancellation process. Discrete finite-duration impulse response (FIR) filters for band limiting and adaptive filter are the key components of the supporting block for this system model. Robust Simulink results have shown a significant increase in system performance in the existence of these key components. The indication has been shown by the best bit error rate (BER) of 3.3e-05. Constellation and eye pattern diagrams have supported the BER.

Technological developments have brought convenience to human life. Many things can be done today to solve human problems more efficiently without spending a lot of money, time, and energy. One of these technological developments can be found in agriculture. An automatic tool project based on the Arduino nano microcontroller will monitor hydroponic plants, assisted by sensors to detect water level, the temperature around the plant will be detected by a sensor DHT-22, the level of light intensity using the sensor BH1750 water level and room temperature will be displayed on nextion 3.5” as a human-machine interface. The purpose of designing this tool is to realize an automatic hydroponic system with LED light as a substitute for sunlight, a pH sensor to read the acidity level of a solution for plants, a ppm sensor to see the viscosity level of a solution for plants, and several motors to provide nutrition in a proper manner automatic and also to maintain water circulation, here is also provided a human machine interface to see the condition of the plant along with planting media and solutions. Based on the value of the test results, the entire hydroponic system is able to work well, all values that affect hydroponic plants are always in their proper condition. The temperature in this hydroponic environment is continuously monitored by using the DHT-22 sensor which aims to get a temperature that is always as stable as from a temperature range of 27°C to 35°C, the expected pH is in the range of 6.5 to 7.4, and the ppm required for hydroponic plants is ranging from 1050 ppm to 1400 ppm.

The background of this research is to make it easier for young researchers to develop brush control dc geared servomotor with a microcontroller which is part of the overall control system where there are other control parts such as TX commands obtained from sensor devices received through radio communication, conditioning circuits, and transisitor-taransistor logic for the driver for servo-control and other control parts of the bridge brushed dc geared servomotor switching system. Here the research limits itself to the control parts of the dc geared servomotor brush, the control part is in the form of software related to the microcontroller, for the other three parts are discussed in another reset. This limitation only discusses signals from radio, encoder one, encoder two, encoder three, mathematical processing, output command output. The command output is ready to connect to the brush geared dc servomotor.

Conventional switching can be used to drive a brush dc geared servomotor, in terms of adjusting the position to our liking. For brush geared dc servomotor drivers we use a switching bridge where each arm is used a power transistor, in the process of switching bridge need to be considered the area where the short circuit is likely to occur, to avoid it we use dead time, as well as the possibility of a short circuit due to the upper arm and the lower arm of the bridge turns on at the same time for that it is necessary to make a transistor-transistor logic circuit so that the upper arm will not turn on when the lower arm is on or vice versa. From the results of conventional switching, it is able to drive the DC brush geared servomotor to the desired position.

Many devices use an induction-type electric motor as the prime mover, such as an electric drilling machine, cutting machine, cement mixer/sand, and various kinds of machinery contained in industrial textiles, automotive industry, and others. The use of machines is closely related to the application of electric motors that will essentially consume electricity vary depending upon the size of the motors that. And generally, this equipment always operates at a nominal price of electrical voltage or full voltage of 220 volts for example per phase or 380-volt three-phase. In this condition, when the motor is not fully loaded suppose half of its full load, it would be a waste of electrical energy consumption, especially if the motor is not given mechanical load on its axis. Therefore, this paper gives a little solution in saving electrical energy consumption of the motor. Two important things are studied in this paper regarding the working arrangements, namely the motor on the state of the start and on the state of the running.

M-ary frequency shift keying (FSK) is a low-power, low-data-rate modulation scheme currently used by manufacturers of data transmission equipment. Inter symbol interference (ISI) occurs in all communication systems. To analyze the effect of the raised cosine filter and adaptive equalizer on reducing the ISI, the binary FSK (BFSK) modulation technique has been studied extensively in this research. In this study, we have selected the square root raised cosine filter and the sign least mean square (LMS) equalizer. The bit error rate (BER) performance of the 2-FSK system with the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel is evaluated and analyzed with the help of Simulink. The best BER value of 1.7e-03 was obtained in this study.

The source of backup power supply at telecommunication BTS is only temporary because its power only depends on the generator and battery capacity used. However, on the other hand, the backup power system is rarely monitored due to a lack of resources such as human resources and the remote location of the equipment/site. Meanwhile, the use of Android which is open source is now widely used by the public for many things, but there are still not many Android applications used to control the power supply system. The purpose of this research is to design and analyze the automatic backup power system on the integrated power system in the telecommunication network by adding an Android application to monitor the occurrence of faults in the system. The communication used in this research is the connection of the automatic backup power control circuit, the microcontroller, the webserver, and the android application itself. Automatic backup power control circuit in the form of a main power transfer control circuit, for example, the power from State Electricity Company (PLN), if a problem occurs it will switch to the back-up power in the form of a generator and battery. The results show that the design of the automatic power system device can work properly.

The spectrum efficiency in fourth-generation (4G) i.e. orthogonal frequency division multiplxing (OFDM) systems has become a major problem at this time due to the increasing need for communication bandwidth. This efficiency is reduced due to the high out-of-band emission (OoBE) that exist. As one of the candidates that still has the potential to be used in the fifth generation (5G) signal modulation method, this paper aims to make observations by out of band emission simulation on a multi carrier filter bank (FBMC). This paper illustrated facets of the 5G with FBMC modulation scheme. To illustrate it, 24 sub-carriers were simulated with each sub-carrier spaced 15 kHz, later the power spectral density of the FBMC signal is plotted. The MATLAB simulation results with the 256-QAM order indicated that FBMC is more advantageous than OFDM because it offers higher spectral efficiency with a difference of 130 dBW/Hz. In other words, this system offers low out of band emission. Previously, an illustration of the FBMC prototype was also shown.

The development of technology can be seen from the increasing number of industries that are standing and especially industries that produce air-conditioning machines such as Air Conditioner (AC), Air Cooler and Chiller. As the name implies, AC has a function to condition the air in a room so that it feels cool, comfortable, and healthy. In operation, AC requires electricity, and almost all of its main components require electricity so that the cost of using flow electricity is the benchmark in efforts to save energy. At the tool and system design stage, an overall tool design is carried out to form a miniature air-conditioning system using a Peltier Thermoelectric. The purpose of designing this tool is to produce a tool that functions to cool a room, so that the temperature in the room is cool and maintained, with the performance of Peltier TEC1-12706 and also heatsink as a channel for cold air through fans indoor and outdoor, and displaying temperature. In testing the system there is a slight difference from the measurements of the results with the component datasheet. On the results of the power test on the 12 V.10A adapter without load, the average output is 12.11 V, not pure at 12 V because the voltage displayed on the AVO meter has an average difference of 0.92%. Whereas in the measurement of power by load, that is, with an average load of 12.05V because the voltage displayed on the AVO meter has a difference and the voltage already has a load and has an average error of 0.41%. The existence of this error is because the current entering the adapter is also unstable.

A common problem that occurs very often in society is motorcycle theft. The rampant cases of motorcycle theft, which are even carried out in the parking lot of homes, need to find the right solution. One solution to handling motorcycle theft cases and securing motorbikes is by installing smart vehicle technology. The purpose of this research is to design a motorcycle safety system based on the Internet of Things. The design uses the Arduino Mega microcontroller, the ESP8266 wifi module, a fingerprint sensor, and the Blynk application on a smartphone. Hardware design with fingerprint and microcontroller integration then designing IoT-based applications with the ESP8266 and combining a security system with notifications to smartphones. Application this can help to turn on and off the engine of two-wheeled motorized vehicles remotely, can assist users in supervising or monitoring two-wheeled motorized vehicles.

At present, permits to enter the Base Transceiver System (BTS) location are still done manually so that incoming access is long. In this experimental study, the development of smart key manufacturing was carried out to offer a solution to the problem above, where by adding the location of the BTS in an accurate monitoring display, the request for permission became more valid. The stages begin with standard key detection; analysis of the relationship between the location of the site and the length of time the site opens; designing with the ESP8266 microcontroller and making key prototypes based on Internet of Things (IoT) so that the network operation center (NOC) can find out and approve immediately the BTS location permit process through the technician's Android application.

The electricity crisis can hamper various community or industrial activities. Meanwhile, the magnetic field with a high field strength around the wire and along the power line wire that is passed through a large electric current can be used as a new source of electricity with considerable power. For this reason, efforts are needed to utilize the magnetic field to offer an energy crisis solution. This research applies the magnet-electric law to the toroid core transformer to become a power plant. The simulation is carried out on a toroid transformer with an outer diameter of 11cm, 2.5cm thick, 9cm long which is mounted on a 27A current; 220V or 380V 3Ø. The result can be to turn on a 5W-160V or 10W-65V incandescent or 7W-200V LHE lamps. The value of 27A on the wire does not change due to the utilization of the magnetic field around the electric wire. From the analysis of a linear approach to power lines with larger currents up to several kA, a power of several kW can be generated at 220V. To get more power at a voltage of 220V required more toroidal transformers placed along the power line.

The use of wireless technology in today’s infrastructure has taken a very important role in the development of mobile communications. The use of wireless technology through the Wireless Distribution System (WDS) technique has also been widely applied to the hotspot network infrastructure in the campus area. WDS is a method of developing wireless network infrastructure that enables the development of wireless networks to become more extensive. However, distance and placement between access points become very important factors to consider that cause problem when sending data and when receiving data. Implementation of the PCQ method, which is one of the features of the proxy router, is aimed at ensuring the quality and performance of the network in good and optimal conditions. The quality of data services provided is regulated using a system voucher, the user is divided into several segments depending on the chosen service plan. This research begins with the planning stage which consists of design and topology selection, then continues with the design and implementation phase, and ends with the preparation phase. The test result data will then be compared with the standard determined by TIPHON which is 0% loss, 150 ms delay, and jitter under 75 ms.

Liner equations with n variables can be solved if there are n equations, the matrix is formed n x n square matrix, using the inverse matrix method. In this research, the linear equation used comes from the rod and mesh grounding system method, which is solved by the finite element method to calculate the grounding impedance, from the results of other research researchers. Here the researcher wants to inform in this study how to solve the linear equation with a calculation program. And the research results are plotted in Cartesian coordinates V = V (t). The results of this calculation program can be used to estimate how much the transient voltage is in the ground rod / mesh in the place where the electrical power system substation will be built when lightning strike with an amplitude of 34 kA/switching with a current of 34 kA/step with a current of 34 kA crash it. Filling in the Study Plan Card (KRS) is a part that plays an important role in the academic system. The KRS filling system that has been running so far is still using the manual system. The development of a web-based online KRS application aims to replace the manual KRS system that is running so that later lecture activities can run smoothly. The system development method used is WebE, the system design method uses UML (unified modeling language), and the system test uses a black box system. This application is made with the programming language PHP and MySQL as a database. The results of this study indicate that the application of web-based online KRS applications can make it easier for students to fill in KRS compared to manual filling. This application can also assist the campus in managing data on the number of students who are active in the current semester. However, it is necessary to develop the system that has been made to become a better and perfect system, such as adding the KRS menu for short semesters so that this system makes it easier for students.

The process of managing data and eating employees is underway now in the process of counting the number of employees who take servings still use conventional methods. Collection without using other tools so that in calculating the number of employees who take portions of food is very susceptible to errors, and making reports are still handwritten on paper so that it cannot present reports quickly and accurately. A system development process to produce software that facilitates the process of managing employee meal data. This application is to develop design software to manage employee data input using a barcode scanner and prepare reports for parties involved in management. This software development process uses the system development life cycle method that starts from the system analysis phase, system design, to the system implementation stage. The expected results of the development of this software can help officers involved in the process of managing employee data, such as the calculation of the number of employees taking food portions, and reporting by the system designed based on the results of the analysis of the running system, so that it can present the information needed more quickly, accurately, relevant and as expected.

A smart antenna is an array of antennas with signal processing capabilities to transmit/receive information in an adaptive manner. This capability continues to be investigated to find the best adaptive algorithm for the desired beamforming capability. This paper aims to provide a study and analysis of the effect of the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm on step size parameter settings which have an impact on the desired minimum square error (MSE) value and on the nulling beam radiation pattern arrangement of smart antennas in its role in mitigating interference. The simulation for beamformer performance for 1000 iterations was carried out using the Matlab tool on the additional white noise gaussian (AWGN) channel and the simulation parameters were changed to some step size values (μ) with the NLMS algorithm for 16 antenna elements. The effect of the value of the step size μ is seen in the iterations number that takes place before the minimum error noise is obtained, where the increase in the value of this step size reduces the iterations number required; at the same time further improving MSE levels. From the pattern of amplitude response after the beamforming process, the result is an escalation in the number of nulling to increase the distance between the spaced elements taken. The interference source is eliminated/closed by placing the nulls in the path of the interference source where the worst interference level is obtained around -90 dB when the smallest step size is taken.

The current application of technology has played a large role in human activities, especially in industry. One of the technologies applied is an automatic filling and packaging system for cooking oil using a filling machine. The application of cooking oil packaging technology using modern machines is usually carried out in the large-scale cooking oil industry. However, the packaging for bulk cooking oil which is common in traditional markets that are classified as a small scale still uses the conventional method of measuring and packaging it. To improve the quality of bulk cooking oil sales and answer this problem, we need a tool that can fill the oil with an adjustable number of measures as needed and has high accuracy and can be run automatically. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, this type of qualitative descriptive research displays the results of the data as they are without any manipulation or other treatment processes. The overall results of the work system design of this tool discuss the results of the automatic oil filling system and the sending of oil expenditure data to the Antares ID webserver. The resulting delay value is still below the normal limit, which is around 1-2 seconds. The deviation that occurs is in the ratio 0.11 and the percent error is in the range of 0.2%.

To improve efficiency, effectiveness, improve the image and corporate social responsibility, standard principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) are required, namely transparency, accountability, responsibility and fairness, and to recognize and protect rights and the obligations of other stakeholders. Strategic information system planning that is in line with the company’s business strategy so that it can be highly competitive. By analyzing Ward and Anita Cassidy’s method, it will produce a portfolio of information systems development applications. Recommendations are given by analyzing the problem using the SWOT method and information needs both internal and external using the ward and Peppard method. The results of the study are the SI business strategy, IT strategy and information system application portfolio and recommendations for the number of costs needed as well as applications that can be implemented.

In AC Power Systems, the compensation of reactive power is very important to support both of load and grid voltage. Generally, the objective of every reactive power compensators is to improve power factor that is the ratio of real power with apparent power to supplied the load. The main aim of this paper is twofold. Firstly, to design and realize a power factor corrector so the system's power factor is kept high, secondly to monitor energy consumed by the load using IoT technology. The uniqueness of this work is that to improve system power factor, we used capacitor bank which are composed from several capacitor with different values. The software is embedded in a low-cost microcontroller then will activate a unique combination of the capacitor by using successive approximation algorithm such that the power factor compensator more reliable; in this case, the damage of one or several capacitors in bank will not degrade the performance of the power factor compensator too much.
