Rapid growth in the infrastructure sector gives rise to greater demand for traditional and conventional resources. It is very essential to find substitute or alternate materials for construction sector in the direction of sustainable growth. Main source of sugar production is sugar cane and the demand for sugar cane is increasing day by day. Which in turn produces enormous ash after extraction of sugar is called as Sugar cane bagasse ash (BA). The utilization of bagasse ash in an environmental friendly manner is limited causing huge problem of its disposal. In the current study, five different mix ratio percentages 0.15, 0.30, 0.45, 0.60 and 0.75 were used to study compressive strength, density and stress-strain characteristics of material prepared using sugarcane bagasse ash mixed with glass fiber and blast furnace slag. It was observed that compressive strength of the novel material is greatly affected by addition of glass fibre and blast furnace slag. The compressive strength of the material is increased up to 0.45% mix ratio and then decreased. The bulk density of the substance dropped as the combination mix ratio value increased. Supportive measures such as the stretching of plantar fascia, and calves, appropriate orthotics, and nocturnal dorsiflexion splinting might alleviate the discomfort. So yet, there has been little recorded study or evidence-based guidelines for these devices. The effectiveness of the shear wall system when it comes to withstand lateral stresses in medium structures as well as high-rise structures. The study examined extent to which a special moment-resistant frame (SMRF) and shear wall can withstand lateral loads by conducting Equivalent Static Analysis on six different scenarios of shear wall curtailment. The shear walls of a G+11-storey building were terminated at adequate heights for this purpose. The models deal with loadings from gravitational and wind forces in compliance with IS Codes. The research found that curtailment of shear wall in upper stories does not always negatively impact the structure outcomes. Further, the study determines the ideal degree of shear wall construction necessary for the building to withstand lateral loads. After the shear wall was reduced to half the height of the building, models still performed with adequate base shear, storey drift & displacement. This study explores the potential of utilizing ferro manganese slag, a byproduct of the ferroalloy industry, in the production of fly ash bricks to improve sustainability and performance in construction materials. Through an examination of various physical and chemical properties, similarities between ferro manganese slag and fly ash bricks are identified. While bricks containing fly ash exhibit textures akin to ferro manganese fly ash bricks at an approximate 85% comparison rate, those treated with the additive display distinct spherical fly ash particles, indicating a different texture. By blending different proportions of sand and ferro manganese slag, it was founded that adding 10% ferro manganese slag to fly ash bricks with 30% sand significantly enhances compressive strength, reaching 10.5 MPa after 7 days of curing and 11 MPa after 14 days of curing, with water absorption found to be 5.73% which is below acceptable limit 20%. A density test on the generated bricks yielded a figure of 2105 kg/m3, which is 1.2% greater than the density of normal fly ash bricks. It was discovered that the density of traditional bricks was 2079 kg/m3. The addition of this ingredient may have positive effects on recycling and lower production costs for bricks.
