The primary purpose of this work is to provide an overview and comparative analysis of various Information System Audit Quality measures, as well as to test the validity of the chosen measurement scale empirically. In this regard, a thorough literature study was undertaken, followed by primary empirical research, and the reliability and validity of the measurement scale were tested. Based on the identified papers, a questionnaire was created and evaluated by a panel of experts. Following that, data was collected from respondents who were either managers inside the organizational unit responsible for information technology or those designated as adequate by the heads of IT departments.

The objective of article is to provide important empirical evidence to support the role of individual knowledge management processes and separate innovation types within firms. Specifically, knowledge acquisition and knowledge application are analyzed and empirically tested in relation to product and process innovation as well as business performance. The results support the direct impact of product and process innovation on business performance. In addition, the results show the indirect effect of knowledge acquisition and knowledge application on firm business performance through product and process innovation. Although KM represents a complex concept of knowledge management in a firm and can contain more processes, this article confirms that KM processes individually contribute to the innovation and indirectly on business performance. Besides, it confirms mediating effect of innovation between both knowledge acquisition and knowledge application and organizational business performance. In addition, most of the similar studies have been focused on the developed Western countries.

Business globalization pressures and rapid technology advances increase the need for firms to continuously change, improve and adapt to changing business environment. Superior business performance is increasingly a function of firm’s ability to develop and implement unique and valuable resources, i.e. dynamic capabilities. Among others, literature recognises organisational learning (OL) capability and knowledge management (KM) capability as two very important capabilities for the firms doing business in the knowledge-based economy. Thus, this study draws on dynamic capability view and organisation theory to clarify the nature of the relationships between OL capability and KM capability. The results show that OL capability positively influence KM capability. Furthermore, shared vision as well as openness and experimentation advance the KM capability while dialog and managerial commitment haven’t been revealed to significantly influence KM capability. The study provides advances in the field of organisational learning and knowledge management literature by offering empirical analysis that confirm the importance of individual constructs of organisational learning capability for successful knowledge management. In today’s era of the ubiquitous use of information technology (IT), it is expected that the information systems provide services to end-users on continuous basis, regardless of time and location. This is especially true in organizations where information systems (IS) support real-time critical operations, particularly, in the industries in which these systems must continuously operate 24x7x365. This paper presents a modified Bayesian Belief Network model for predicting IS availability. Based on a thorough review of all IS availability dimensions, we proposed a modified set of determinants. The model is parametrized using probability elicitation process with the participation of experts from the BiH financial sector. The results showed that most influential determinants of the IS availability are a timely and precise definition of the availability requirements, quality of IT operations, management and network. Over the past decade business continuity management (BCM) has been treated mainly from either technology or planning perspective. This paper goes a step further and considers BCM from the IT governance view. In addition, the standards and legislation activities that help in that sense are evaluated. Implementation of industry best practices standards and processes such as ITIL and CobiT combined with other IT-related solutions can deliver substantial risk reduction and reduce business risks and result with reduced system downtime. The cases of the implementations of main information technology (IT) standards in the banking sector of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina from those two perspectives are explored., Tijekom proteklog desetljeća upravljanje kontinuitetom poslovanja se razmatralo uglavnom iz perspektive tehnologije ili planiranja. Ovaj rad ide korak naprijed i razmatra upravljanje kontinuitetom poslovanja sa stajališta IT upravljanja. Osim toga, ocjenjuju se i standardi te legislativa usmjerena poboljšanju stanja. Primjena najboljih sektorskih standarda i procesa kao što su ITIL i CobiT u kombinaciji s drugim IT rješenjima može dovesti do znatnog smanjenja rizika te smanjiti rizik poslovanja i time rezultirati smanjenjem nedostupnosti sustava. Istražuju se slučajevi primjene glavnih standarda informacijske tehnologije u bankarskom sektoru Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine sagledani iz ove dvije perpektive.

U radu se opisuje nova klasa informacijskih sistema - IDSS-a. Ovi sistemi razvili su se kao rezultat razvoja niza novih disciplina. Za razvoj IDSS-a posebno značajni utjecaj ima područje umjetne inteligencije. U radu se opisuje evolucija IDSS-a, struktura IDSS-a kao i mogućnosti korištenja IDSS-a. Ovi sistemi postaju sve dominantniji, što se ogleda kako u broju i kvaliteti istraživačkih radova i publikacija tako i praktičnih primjena.
