Abstract

This article analyses union journals in Sweden and Finland since 1990. In doing so, the article recognises the journals as principals’ collective professional voice regarding major education reform dynamics. Our findings suggest that principals in both Nordic countries, as collective actors, have clearly influenced reforms of the school system significantly. The unions serve as a strong voice with major influence in both professional and reform ambitions. However, the main arguments for the respective professional projects were similar, although professional ambitions were different in both cases: discretion for more educational leadership, without explaining what educational leadership means in detail.

17. Erfolgreiche Blockchain-Anwendungsfälle identifizieren

Abstract

Im Zuge der Planung einer Blockchain-Anwendung stellen sich alle Unternehmen im Kern die folgenden beiden Fragen: Eignet sich Blockchain wirklich fur den konkreten Anwendungsfall? Und wenn ja, welche Art der Blockchain ist die richtige? Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragen fokussiert sich dieses Kapitel auf die Evaluierung von potenziellen Anwendungsfallen und entwickelt dafur ein Blockchain-Entscheidungsmodell. Das Entscheidungsmodell ist nicht einzig fur technisch orientierte Nutzer geeignet, sondern soll primar von Ansprechpartnern und Entscheidern aus den Fach- und Innovationsbereichen genutzt und verstanden werden. Fur die Schrittweise Hinfuhrung zum Modell, wird zunachst der gegenwartige Stand der Technologie sowie der Anwendungsfalle zusammenfassend betrachtet und die Grundlage fur das Entscheidungsmodell gelegt (Abschn. 3.1). Anschliesend werden Kriterien extrahiert, die einen erfolgreichen und effizienten Anwendungsfall fur die Blockchain-Technologie ausmachen (Abschn. 3.2). Auf Basis dieser Kriterien wird das Modell erstellt, indem die einzelnen Kriterien mittels eines Flussdiagramms gruppiert abgefragt werden (Abschn. 3.3). Abschliesend wird ein ubergreifendes Resumee gezogen (Abschn. 3.4).

Abstract

Stellt sich eine Anwendungsidee als sinnvoll dar, gilt es, den Mehrwert klar zu identifizieren. Zum einen ist die Wirtschaftlichkeit vor der Umsetzung eines neuen Projektes in vielen Unternehmen klar aufzuzeigen. Zum anderen lassen sich potenzielle Teilnehmer bei einem konkret aufgezeigten Mehrwert einfacher uberzeugen, sich dem Netzwerk, bzw. dem Projekt anzuschliesen. Da Blockchain auf dem Netzwerkgedanken beruht, ist insbesondere der zweite Schritt, mehrere initiale Teilnehmer zu gewinnen, essentiell fur die weitere Entwicklung sowie den weiteren Erfolg der Anwendungsidee. Die Skalierung vieler als Proof-of-Concept gestarteter Pilotprojekte scheitert exakt an der organisatorischen Skalierung. Oft erkennen weitere Organisationen innerhalb des etablierten Geschaftsnetzwerkes den erzielbaren Mehrwert durch den Einsatz von Blockchain nicht. Mit einer gezielten Definition des Mehrwertes lasst sich dem entgegenwirken. Dieses Kapitel stellt hierfur ein Modell zur strukturierten Analyse des anwendungsspezifischen Mehrwertes vor.

Insbesondere gilt es zu verstehen, was sich auf Basis der Blockchain umsetzen lasst, was jedoch nicht. Hierzu gibt dieses Kapitel zunachst einen Uberblick uber die Entwicklungshistorie (Abschn. 2.1). Auserdem werden die technischen Grundlagen und die Funktionsweise der Blockchain dargestellt sowie Unterschiede zwischen einzelnen Blockchain-Implementierungen aufgezeigt (Abschn. 2.2). Zuletzt erfolgt eine Gegenuberstellung der Blockchain-Technologie mit herkommlichen Systemen sowie dem klassischen IT-Verstandnis (Abschn. 2.3).

Abstract

The Early Church has produced a diversified and influential tradition of commenting on the Bible. The tradition is rich in content, in methods, and in the goals pursued. The present volume offers a selection of papers read at an international colloquium held in Leuven in December 2018. Basically, three guidelines were followed in selecting the material: language, representative authors, and the wish to cover various parts of the New Testament. Three of the ten essays deal with Greek authors. Origen takes a place of honour, and through him is also heard the voice of one of the oldest Christian commentators, Heracleon. The third one is Theodore of Mopsuestia, the major representative of the non-Alexandrian tradition, averse of an allegorical reading of the Bible. The Latins are represented by their two greatest exegetes (Jerome and Augustine), a recently rediscovered gospel commentator (Fortunatianus), two commentators on Paul (Marius Victorinus and Ambrosiaster), an influential commentator of the Apocalypse (Victorinus of Pettau), and an author who was instrumental in transmitting the legacy of the ancient Church to a new era (Bede).
