The patient cohort was assigned to a training set (n = 461) and a validation set (n = 307). Cox regression analysis identified independent prognostic factors, which were then used to construct a prognostic nomogram. Internal validation was performed in the testing group, and its effectiveness and capability were evaluated with reference to the concordance index (C-index), area under the curve (AUC), calibration curve, and decision curve analysis (DCA).Results: Independent risk factors identified through Cox regression analyses included the BCLC stage, cirrhosis, invasion, tumor number, preoperative serum PALB, performance status (PS), and tumor size. The nomogram demonstrated a C-index of 0.734 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.710– 0.758) in the training set and 0.717 (95% CI: 0.678– 0.756) in the validation set, indicating strong discriminatory ability. The nomogram also demonstrated favorable discriminatory performance with AUC values of 0.873, 0.820, and 0.833 for 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS, respectively, in the training set, and 0.854, 0.765, and 0.724 in the validation set. The AUC value of the nomogram (0.843) was significantly higher than that of the four conventional staging systems. Moreover, calibration graphs confirmed a strong concordance between the predicted and observed results. Furthermore, DCA underscored the significant clinical utility of the nomogram. Additionally, the low-risk group exhibited considerably superior rates of survival compared to the high-risk group.Conclusion: The developed nomogram demonstrated excellent prognostic capability, which served as a valuable tool for personalized clinical decision-making for patients with HCC.Keywords: hepatocellular carcinoma, nomogram, prealbumin, overall survival, prognosis

Matrix metalloproteinase 28 (MMP28) has been associated with carcinogenesis of many human cancers. However, little is known about the potential prognostic value and underlying regulatory mechanisms of MMP28 in PAAD.Methods: The relationship between MMP28 expression level and various clinicopathological parameters was analyzed in TCGA-PAAD cohorts. MMP28-correlated genes in the TCGA-PAAD cohort were identified and enrichment analysis according to the Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes was conducted using LinkedOmics. Protein–protein interaction and transcription factors-miRNA co-regulatory networks were constructed with the use of NetworkAnalyst. Then, the distribution of immune cells related to MMP28 expression in blood was analyzed using the Human Protein Atlas, and the tumor microenvironment of PAAD was analyzed by the TIMER 2.0 database. To investigate the biological function of MMP28 in PAAD, siRNA was constructed to knock down the MMP28 gene in vitro.Results: High MMP28 expression is associated with poor overall survival and disease-free survival in PAAD patients. The expression of MMP28 in PAAD is most significantly correlated with KRT19, IL1RN, and ANXA2 genes. Network analysis revealed that MIR-181 family, TAFs, and CDC6 are potential regulators of MMP28. Furthermore, naive CD4+ T cell, naive CD8+ T cell, and mucosal-associated invariant T cell enrichment in blood were correlated with MMP28 expression. Furthermore, high MMP28 expression was correlated with a decrease in B cell, naive CD4+ T cell, naive CD8+ T cell, and endothelial cell presence in the tumor microenvironment in PAAD. Finally, genetic knockdown of MMP28 could restrain the proliferation, migration, and invasion of PAAD cells.Conclusion: Our findings indicate that high MMP28 expression in PAAD is associated with cancer progression, invasion, and metastasis. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been reported to regulate human cancers including cervical cancer. F-box and leucine-rich repeat protein 19 antisense RNA 1 (FBXL19-AS1) have been unmasked to exert carcinogenic functions in several cancers except cervical cancer.Aim: Present study hammered at investigating the function and mechanism of FBXL19-AS1 in cervical cancer.Methods: RT-qPCR was utilized to test gene expression. EdU staining, colony formation, transwell, flow cytometry and TUNEL assays were applied for measuring the impact of FBXL19-AS1 on cervical cancer cell functions. Moreover, RIP, RNA pull-down and luciferase reporter assays were utilized for detecting the correlations among FBXL19-AS1, miR-193a-5p and PIN1 (peptidylprolyl cis/trans isomerase, NIMA-interacting 1).Results: FBXL19-AS1 exhibited elevated expression in cervical cancer tissues and cells. Silencing FBXL19-AS1 repressed cell proliferation through arresting cell cycle and stimulating apoptosis, and losing FBXL19-AS1 also restrained cell migration and invasion. Also, we discovered FBXL19-AS1 as a miR-193a-5p sponge, while miR-193a-5p was a tumor inhibitor in cervical cancer. Further, PIN1 was proved as the miR-193a-5p target, and FBXL19-AS1 augmented PIN1 expression in cervical cancer via sequestering miR-193a-5p. Of note, PIN1 accelerated the progression of cervical cancer, and its upregulation counteracted the impacts of depleted FBXL19-AS1 on cervical cancer cell functions.Conclusion: FBXL19-AS1 contributes to malignant phenotypes in cervical cancer by sponging miR-193a-5p and regulating PIN1.Keywords: FBXL19-AS1, miR-193a-5p, PIN1, cervical cancer

Neurological deficit scores and infarction volume were investigated to evaluate the neuroprotection of TSA. Hematoxylin-eosin staining, Nissl staining, and immunofluorescence staining were conducted to detect ischemic changes in brain tissue and changes in neurofilament protein 200 (NF200) and growth-associated protein-43 (GAP-43) expression, respectively. Western blotting and qRT-PCR analyses were used to detect the expression levels of NF200, GAP-43 and Nogo-A/NgR1/RhoA/ROCKII/MLC pathway-related signaling molecules.Results: TSA treatment can improve the survival rate of rats, reduce the neurological score and infarct volume, and reduce neuron damage. In addition, TSA also increased axon length and enhanced expression of NF200 and GAP-43. Importantly, TSA significantly attenuated the expression of Nogo-A, NgR1, RhoA, ROCKII, and p-MLC, and thus inhibiting the activation of this signaling pathway.Conclusion: TSA promoted axonal regeneration by inhibiting the Nogo-A/NgR1/RhoA/ROCKII/MLC signaling pathway, thereby exerting neuroprotective effects in cerebral ischemia rats, which provided support for the clinical application of TSA in stroke treatment.Keywords: tanshinone IIA, cerebral ischemia, axonal regeneration, neuroprotective effect, neurite outgrowth inhibitor-A, Nogo receptor, Rho-associated protein kinase

A relevant microarray containing gastric cancer-related lncRNAs was downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas database.Methods: qRT-PCR was used to analyze LINC00565 and AKT3 expression in tumor tissues and cell lines. Proliferative, colony formation and apoptotic abilities of GC cells after transfection of sh-LINC00565 were determined by CCK-8, colony formation assay and flow cytometry, respectively. RIP was enrolled to detect the interaction between LINC00565, AKT3 and miR-665. Dual luciferase assay was used to confirm the relation between miR-665 and LINC00565 and AKT3.Results: Expression level of LINC00565 in GC tissue was highly expressed in GC, which was negatively correlated to prognosis of GC patients. The results showed that knockdown of LINC00565 decreased proliferative and colony formation abilities, and induced apoptosis of GC cells. Pearson analysis showed that LINC00565 was positively correlated with AKT3. Besides, AKT3 was significantly up-regulated in GC. In addition, knockdown of LINC00565 down-regulated AKT3. In order to explore the mechanism, we found that miR-665 could bind to LINC00565 by bioinformatics. Dual-luciferase reporter gene assay and RIP assay both verified the binding relationship between miR-665 and AKT3. Finally, rescue experiments were carried out to explore whether AKT3 could reverse the anti-cancer effect of low-level LINC00565 on GC development.Conclusion: In summary, the expression of LINC00565 is upregulated in GC. Acupuncture therapy is widely used for pain management. However, the effect of acupuncture on FM is still uncertain. The aim of this review was to determine the effect and safety of acupuncture therapy on the pain intensity and quality of life in patients with FM.Materials and methods: We searched PubMed, the Cochrane Library, Embase, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database, and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of acupuncture for FM published before May 2018. A meta-analysis was performed according to the Cochrane systematic review method by using RevMan 5.3 software, and GRADE was used to evaluate the quality of the evidence.Results: We identified 12 RCTs that compared acupuncture therapy to sham acupuncture or conventional medication. Meta-analysis showed that acupuncture was significantly better than sham acupuncture for relieving pain (MD =-1.04, 95% CI [-1.70, –0.38], P=0.002, I2=78%) and improving the quality of life (MD =-13.39, 95% CI [-21.69, –5.10], P=0.002, I2=82%), with low- to moderate-quality evidence in the short term. At follow-up in the long term, the effect of acupuncture was also superior to that of sham acupuncture. No serious adverse events were found during acupuncture.Conclusion: Acupuncture therapy is an effective and safe treatment for patients with FM, and this treatment can be recommended for the management of FM. Large lakes and reservoirs play important roles in modulating regional hydrological cycles and climate; however, their representations in coupled models remain uncertain. The existing lake module in the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) system (hereafter WRF-Lake), although widely used, did not accurately predict temperature profiles in deep lakes mainly due to its poor lake surface property parameterizations and underestimation of heat transfer between lake layers. We therefore revised WRF-Lake by improving its (1) numerical discretization scheme; (2) surface property parameterization; (3) diffusivity parameterization for deep lakes; and (4) convection scheme, the outcome of which became WRF-rLake (i.e., revised lake model). We evaluated the off-line WRF-rLake by comparing simulated and measured water temperature at the Nuozhadu Reservoir, a deep reservoir in southwestern China. WRF-rLake performs better than its predecessor by reducing the root-mean-square error (RMSE) against observed lake surface temperatures (LSTs) from 1.4 to 1.1gC and consistently improving simulated vertical temperature profiles. We also evaluated the sensitivity of simulated water temperature and surface energy fluxes to various modeled lake processes. We found (1) large changes in surface energy balance fluxes (up to 60Wm-2) associated with the improved surface property parameterization and (2) that the simulated lake thermal structure depends strongly on the light extinction coefficient and vertical diffusivity. Although currently only evaluated at the Nuozhadu Reservoir, we expect that these model parameterization and structural improvements could be general and therefore recommend further testing at other deep lakes and reservoirs..

Plasmon polaritons, or plasmons, are coupled oscillations of electrons and electromagnetic fields that can confine the latter into deeply subwavelength scales, enabling novel polaritonic devices. While plasmons have been extensively studied in normal metals or semimetals, they remain largely unexplored in correlated materials. In this paper, we report infrared (IR) nano-imaging of thin flakes of CsV3Sb5, a prototypical layered Kagome metal. We observe propagating plasmon waves in real-space with wavelengths tunable by the flake thickness. From their frequency-momentum dispersion, we infer the out-of-plane dielectric function ϵ c that is generally difficult to obtain in conventional far-field optics, and elucidate signatures of electronic correlations when compared to density functional theory (DFT). We propose correlation effects might have switched the real part of ϵ c from negative to positive values over a wide range of middle-IR frequencies, transforming the surface plasmons into hyperbolic bulk plasmons, and have dramatically suppressed their dissipation. Plasmons polaritons, or collective excitations of electrons and electromagnetic fields, have been rarely studied in layered correlated materials. Plasmon polaritons are hybrid excitations of light and mobile electrons that can confine the energy of long-wavelength radiation at the nanoscale. Plasmon polaritons may enable many enigmatic quantum effects, including lasing.sup.1, topological protection.sup.2,3 and dipole-forbidden absorption.sup.4. A necessary condition for realizing such phenomena is a long plasmonic lifetime, which is notoriously difficult to achieve for highly confined modes.sup.5. Plasmon polaritons in graphene--hybrids of Dirac quasiparticles and infrared photons--provide a platform for exploring light-matter interaction at the nanoscale.sup.6,7. However, plasmonic dissipation in graphene is substantial.sup.8 and its fundamental limits remain undetermined. Here we use nanometre-scale infrared imaging to investigate propagating plasmon polaritons in high-mobility encapsulated graphene at cryogenic temperatures. In this regime, the propagation of plasmon polaritons is primarily restricted by the dielectric losses of the encapsulated layers, with a minor contribution from electron-phonon interactions. At liquid-nitrogen temperatures, the intrinsic plasmonic propagation length can exceed 10 micrometres, or 50 plasmonic wavelengths, thus setting a record for highly confined and tunable polariton modes. Abstract Background Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are pivotal in tumor metastasis across cancers, yet their specific role in renal cancer remains unclear. Methods This study investigated C–C motif chemokine ligand 5 (CCL5)'s tumorigenic impact on renal cancer cells and CTCs using bioinformatics, in vivo, and in vitro experiments. It also assessed renal cancer patients' CTCs prognostic value through Lasso regression and Kaplan–Meier survival curves. Results Bioinformatics analysis revealed differential genes focusing on cellular adhesion and migration between CTCs and tumor cells. CCL5 exhibited high expression in various CTCs, correlating with poor prognosis in renal cancer. In 786-O-CTCs, CCL5 enhanced malignancy, while in renal cell carcinoma cell line CAKI-2 and 786-O, it promoted epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) via smad2/3, influencing cellular characteristics. The nude mouse model suggested CCL5 increased CTCs and intensified EMT, enhancing lung metastasis. Clinical results shown varying prognostic values for different EMT-typed CTCs, with mesenchymal CTCs having the highest value. Conclusions In summary, CCL5 promoted EMT in renal cancer cells and CTCs through smad2/3, enhancing the malignant phenotype and facilitating lung metastasis. Mesenchymal-type CTC-related factors can construct a risk model for renal cancer patients, allowing personalized treatment based on metastatic risk prediction.

The food and beverage industry in Indonesia has stimulated a surge in Indonesian youth's practice of consuming nutritious food, resulting in fierce rivalry among enterprises in the healthy food sector. In order to manage the highly competitive business environment, organizations have increasingly resorted to utilizing social media marketing as a means to increase consumer inclination to make purchases. However, the widespread use of social media has led to concerns about individuals feeling excluded or perceived as outdated, a phenomenon commonly known as Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) through social media marketing on consumers' inclination to make a purchase. We administered a survey using Google Forms to 120 participants aged between 18 and 34. We then analyzed the collected data using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that both the fear of missing out (FOMO) and social media marketing have a beneficial impact on the desire to purchase healthy food goods. Utilizing the fear of missing out (FOMO) in social media marketing techniques can successfully enhance consumer attention and stimulate sales in the healthy food industry.

We report on the modulation of interlayer exchange coupling (IEC) between the ferromagnet (FM) Fe and insulating antiferromagnet (AFM) CoO and its impact on the Gilbert damping by a time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect technique. By inserting a wedge spin conductor Ag layer at the interface of Fe/CoO, it is revealed that both uniform spin precession frequency and Gilbert damping constant of Fe film decrease with increasing Ag thickness up to ∼2 nm, and above that with eliminated IEC, these two parameters reach the intrinsic values of the Fe film. The precession frequency and damping also show similar variation tendency with temperature for attenuated IEC. These results prove that the exchange coupling at the FM–AFM interface plays an essential role for the spin angular momentum transfer to the insulating AFM layer, and the spin pumping is insignificant even for the very thin spin conductor layer. Our findings may have general insights into the role of the FM/AFM interface in the magnetization dynamics and spin angular momentum transfer for future spintronic applications. Background: Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) indicate that the postpartum phase has the highest rates of maternal death and morbidity. In the first year following childbirth, almost 50% of women experience mental health issues and declining life quality scores on the physical-emotional dimension significantly. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of postpartum yoga and pelvic floor training on the life quality of postpartum mothers. Methods: This research was a Quasy Experimental Pre-Posttest Design of nonequivalent control groups which was conducted from February to August 2023 in Mengwi I Health Center, Badung Regency, Bali. The sample in this study consisted of 36 postpartum mothers in the control group and 36 postpartum mothers in the intervention group. Pre-data was in the form of quality of life before the intervention was given to the control and intervention groups and post-data was taken after the intervention was given and then data analysis was carried out using the Mann-Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that the mean value of the increase in life quality scores in the intervention group was greater than the control group. In the 1st domain (physical healthiness) there was a significant difference between the two groups after study (p-value = 0.000). In the 2nd domain (psychological well-being) there was a significant difference between the two groups after study (p-value = 0.000). In the 3rd domain (social relationship) there was a significant difference between the two groups after study (p-value = 0.000). In the 4th domain (environmental dimension) there was a significant difference between the two groups after study (p-value = 0.000). Lastly, in the 5th domain (general healthiness) there was a significant difference between the two groups after study (p-value = 0.000). Conclusions: There is an increase in the life quality of postpartum mothers after being given a combination of postpartum yoga and pelvic floor training.

Bali, one of the world’s tourism destinations, is now facing a paradoxical situation because the increasing number of tourists visiting Bali is going hand in hand with the gradual reduction in productive agricultural land due to land conversion. This paper analyzes the massive practice of converting productive farmland for tourism in Bali. It offers a human rights law lens, particularly the rights to land, food, and tourism, to view the problem discussed in the paper. Legal research primarily reads international legal instruments, Indonesia’s laws and regulations, and some secondary materials. The paper suggested that although the Bali provincial government has issued rules and policies to prevent the practice of land conversion, the government cannot fully control it because many agricultural lands have ownership status. Therefore, there is an urgent need to increase awareness of local communities as landowners to prevent such a practice. This paper also proposes using subak, a traditional farming system, as the basis for ecotourism and agrotourism activities to tackle the problem of land conversion in Bali.

Di Desa Abiansemal Kabupaten Badung Bali terdapat Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Buana Lestari beranggotakan 20 orang yang melaksanakan kegiatan pertanian dan peternakan. Namun usaha yang saat ini berkembang dengan baik adalah usaha peternak ayam upakara, untuk memenuhi permintaan Umat Hindu dalam menjalankan upacara Agama. Ayam upakara maksudnya adalah ayam caru yang nantinya dipakai sebagai pelengkap upakara dalam upacara agama Hindu, khususnya untuk persembahan kepada alam bawah yang disebut dengan ”Alam Butha”. Ayam caru yang diperlukan untuk upakara Hindu ini adalah ayam buras yang umurnya kurang lebih 40 hari (anak ayam) dan yang dipentingkan adalah warna bulunya. Peran KWT dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan ayam caru ini dilaksanakan dengan sistem kelompok di mana setiap anggota dapat memelihara ayam caru di rumahnya masing-masing sampai dengan ayam tersebut siap dipasarkan. Tujuan pelaksanaan pemberdayaan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota KWT dalam mengelola manajemen usaha khususnya bidang keuangan dan pemasaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pencatatan dengan komputer dan sistem pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses pemberdayaan adalah: Participacy Research Action (PRA), Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan pelatihan manajemen usaha serta pendampingan membuat laporan keuangan secara digital dengan software pada komputer. Luaran dan capaian dalam program ini adalah: meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota KWT dalam mengelola manajemen usaha bidang pembukuan dan pemasaran, dengan luaran berupa modul, video kegiatan, artikel di media masa, poster, dan artikel jurnal.

An attempt to avoid formalin side effects of toxin dose contained in food is to administer hepatoprotectant. Moringa is one of the food sources that functions as a hepatoprotector. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity of Moringa leaf tea (steeping water) as an antioxidant and hepatoprotector in male white rats induced with formalin doses of toxicity. The method used in this study was a randomized group design (RGD). The liver damage barrier test used a formalin-induced male white rat model (0.100 ml/BB) as a negative control, tea (steeping water) of Moringa leaves was given at a dose of 50, 75, 100 mg/BB once a day and the administration of aquades as a positive control for 7 days. The formalin-induced group of mice showed a significant increase in SGPT, SGOT and MDA values compared to positive controls. Orally administering Moringa leaf tea (steeping water) can weaken or decrease the increase in SGPT, SGOT and MDA values in male rats compared to formalin-induced significantly. So that giving tea from steeping water Moringa leaves can be an alternative as drinking water after meals. Keywords: toxic, SGOT, SGPT, MDA

Abstract Background Immunogenic cell death (ICD) is closely related to anti-tumor therapy and regulates the tumor microenvironment (TME). This study aims to explore the molecular characteristics of ICD in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and to analyze the value of ICD-related biomarkers in TME indication, prognosis prediction, and treatment response evaluation in AML. Methods Single-sample gene set enrichment analysis was used to calculate the ICD score. LASSO regression was used to construct a prognostic risk score model. We also analyzed differences in clinical characteristics, immune landscape, immunotherapy response, and chemotherapy sensitivity between high-risk and low-risk patients. Results This study identified two ICD-related subtypes and found significant heterogeneity in clinical prognosis, TME, and immune landscape between different ICD subtypes. Subsequently, a novel ICD-related prognostic risk score model was developed, which accurately predicted the prognosis of AML patients and was validated in nine AML cohorts. Moreover, there were significant correlations between risk scores and clinicopathological factors, somatic mutations, TME characteristics, immune cell infiltration, immunotherapy response, and chemosensitivity. We further validated the model gene expression in a clinically real-world cohort. Conclusions The novel ICD-related signatures identified and validated by us can serve as promising biomarkers for predicting clinical outcomes, chemotherapy sensitivity, and immunotherapy response in AML patients, guiding the establishment of personalized and accurate treatment strategies for AML. This research aims to review the CFO's role's evolution and technology's impact on the modern CFO function. The study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to investigate the Chief Financial Officer's (CFO) changing role in optimizing the use of the latest technology and process automation. The SLR findings indicate the CFO's role has shifted from a technical finance role to a business leader providing strategic recommendations and financial risk analysis. The research found that by utilizing the latest technology, CFOs can optimize operational efficiency and support faster, more accurate business decision-making. Based on upper echelon theory, the CFO's characteristics affect the company's decisions. Therefore, companies should consider CFOs' experience and education in supporting their strategic role. The study's originality lies in discussing the CFO's role development in the digital era and the impact of the latest technology on strategic decision-making. Green hotels use green practices to reduce environmental impacts and increase the sustainability of hotel operations, including saving energy, managing waste and waste, and building design. This study aims to determine the application of the green hotel in Villa Kayu Raja Bali. This research is useful to encourage the hospitality industry to adopt environmentally friendly measures for sustainability. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method was obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution with a saturated sample of 32 employees as respondents and 2 informants. Data analysis techniques in this study use descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed an application value of 2.94 that overall the application of green hotels in Villa Kayu Raja Bali has been implemented well. Indicators that have been well implemented are architecture, water conservation, implementing new methods of saving electrical and water energy, the environment in the building, guest rooms, places to eat, saving paper, materials that need to be washed grouped, green guest rooms, green food, and green training programs. The indicators that need to be improved are in new energy; utilizing new energy and renewable energy sources, implementing new methods of saving solar energy, and environmental protection tools, namely refrigerators and air conditioners without Freon.

Abstract Patients with advanced gastric cancer typically face a grim prognosis. This phase 1a (dose escalation) and phase 1b (dose expansion) study investigated safety and efficacy of first-line camrelizumab plus apatinib and chemotherapy for advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. The primary endpoints included maximum tolerated dose (MTD) in phase 1a and objective response rate (ORR) across phase 1a and 1b. Phase 1a tested three dose regimens of camrelizumab, apatinib, oxaliplatin, and S-1. Dose regimen 1: camrelizumab 200 mg on day 1, apatinib 250 mg every other day, oxaliplatin 100 mg/m² on day 1, and S-1 40 mg twice a day on days 1–14. Dose regimen 2: same as dose regimen 1, but oxaliplatin 130 mg/m². Dose regimen 3: same as dose regimen 2, but apatinib 250 mg daily. Thirty-four patients were included (9 in phase 1a, 25 in phase 1b). No dose-limiting toxicities occurred so no MTD was identified. Dose 3 was set for the recommended phase 2 doses and administered in phase 1b. The confirmed ORR was 76.5% (95% CI 58.8–89.3). The median progression-free survival was 8.4 months (95% CI 5.9-not evaluable [NE]), and the median overall survival (OS) was not mature (11.6-NE). Ten patients underwent surgery after treatment and the multidisciplinary team evaluation. Among 24 patients without surgery, the median OS was 19.6 months (7.8-NE). Eighteen patients (52.9%) developed grade ≥ 3 treatment-emergent adverse events. Camrelizumab plus apatinib and chemotherapy showed favorable clinical outcomes and manageable safety for untreated advanced gastric cancer (ChiCTR2000034109).

Abstract Background This review aims to examine the impact of trimetazidine on skeletal muscle function in patients suffering from peripheral artery disease (PAD). Methods We searched for studies, both experimental and observational research, concerning the comparison of trimetazidine administration to placebo/standard of care in patients with PAD in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane. Meta-analyses of the included studies were performed using Review Manager v5.4. Clinical parameters [ankle-brachial index (ABI) and maximum walking distance (MWD)] were analyzed. Results Three observational studies involving 378 participants with PAD satisfied predefined criteria. There was no substantial difference between the examined groups’ on ABI (pre- and post-intervention) (MD = − 0.06 [− 0.19 to 0.07], p = 0.38, I 2 = 90%). Meanwhile, MWD improvement was significantly higher (MD = 14.15 [6.05–22.25], p = 0.0006, I 2 = 37%) in trimetazidine group than in the control group. Conclusions Current evidence from our meta-analysis suggests the beneficial role of trimetazidine's anti-ischemic effect in PAD patients by improving MWD, while it has an insignificant influence on ABI.
