Bọ rùa thiên địch là kẻ thù tự nhiên của nhiều loài sâu hại cây trồng như rệp aphid, rệp sáp, rệp vảy, bọ phấn, bọ trĩ,… Bài báo này trình bày kết quả nghiên cứu về đặc điểm hình thái và sinh học của loài bọ rùa Oenopia kirbyi (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) tại Đà Lạt (Lâm Đồng). Trong nghiên cứu, bọ rùa Oenopia kirbyi được thu thập ngoài tự nhiên ở pha trưởng thành đem về tiếp tục nuôi trong phòng thí nghiệm với thức ăn là rệp aphid để thực hiện nghiên cứu về đặc điểm hình thái và sinh học. Kết quả thu được cho thấy Oenopia kirbyi có thời gian phát triển pha trứng là 4,45 ± 0,71 ngày; pha ấu trùng (từ tuổi 1 đến tuổi 4) lần lượt là 2,63 ± 0,52 ngày, 1,91 ± 0,73 ngày, 1,70 ± 0,46 ngày và 5,78 ± 0,95 ngày; pha nhộng là 7,02 ± 0,91 ngày. Nhìn chung, thời gian phát triển trước trưởng thành là 23,49 ngày; Tuổi thọ trung bình của bọ rùa trưởng thành đực và cái tương ứng là 67,13 ± 18,77 ngày và 82,83 ± 20,25 ngày. Khả năng sinh sản là 414 ± 131,33 trứng/con cái, tỷ lệ trứng nở là 80,85%, tỷ lệ vũ hóa là 96,53%, tỷ lệ cái/đực là 1,78. Những kết quả nghiên cứu này là cơ sở cho việc nhân nuôi bọ rùa sử dụng trong kiểm soát sâu hại cây trồng tại địa phương.

Evaluating parallel robots’ performance is a key to achieve a better design and better understanding of their behavior in operation. In this study, a novel idea of local performance evaluation of robots taking into consideration the directional variation of performance was proposed by introducing a circular trajectory around a local output point. Total displacement of joints was also introduced as a representative kinematically-defined performance index for energy consumption of robots. The proposed index was applied to performance evaluation of five-bar parallel robots and its effectiveness was investigated based on the relationship between its value and the consumed energy obtained by dynamic simulation. Illustrative example of kinematic design of five-bar parallel robot based on the proposed index was presented and its effectiveness was performed by evaluating the energy consumption of the designed robot to achieve pick-and-place motions.
