Nghe An has the biggest area of forest and forestland in the North Central region and play an important role in environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, poverty reduction and social stability. Nghe An forestry sector has achieved many results in forest protection and development, forest cover is increasing, biodiversity is preserved, the economic structure of the industry has changed positively. However, the management and protection of forest resources and the organization of forestry production currently have many limitations and shortcomings, and have not brought into full play the potential and advantages of the sector. The study was conducted to assess the status of forestry development in the period 2016-2020 and to propose policy recommendations to develop the province's forestry sector in the 2021-2030. The main research method is to collect and analyze secondary data sources from related units. In addition, primary data and information were collected from individual interviews and group discussions with officials and local people in the province. The results have assessed the status of forestry development in the period 2016-2020 in terms of forest protection and natural conservation, concentrated new forest plantation, timber and NTFPs harvesting, forest interprises, wood processing, payment for forest environmental services, and a number of recommendations has been made to promote forestry development in Nghe An province.

Objective: To evaluate the Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) of patients following minimally invasive open-heart surgery with endoscopic support for mitral valve replacement at the Cardiovascular Center of E Hospital.[1] Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 46 cases following minimally invasive open-heart surgery with endoscopic support for mitral valve replacement at Cardiovascular Center of Hospital E from 1/1/2021 to 31 /21/2021, using the SF-36 questionnaire. Results: The mean score of 4 physical health domains including phýical functioning, functional limitations, bodily pain and general health were: 77,12; 70,38; 68,21, and 52.57. The average scores of the four mental health domains including including vitality, social functioning, role emotional and general mental health are: 79.24; 68.21; 88.7 and 75, respectively. Factors related to HRQOL of patients following minimally invasive open-heart surgery with endoscopically assisted mitral valve replacement are age, occupation, and economic status of the patient. Conclusion: The total points of HRQOL in all areas were quite and quite good. Therefore, minimally invasive open-heart surgery with endoscopic support for mitral valve replacement is an indication for clear improvement in postoperative patients.

The present study examines the mediating role of parental burnout in the relationship between students' behavior problems and academic outcomes and whether this mediating process is moderated by parents' self-compassion (PSC). This study was designed according to a cross-sectional study model, and includes 821 Vietnamese primary students (Mage = 9.98, SD = 0.889) completing behavior problems questionnaires. The parents completed parental burnout and the PSC questionnaires. The school office reported academic outcomes. Main findings include: (1) Student's behavior problems have a direct negative influence on academic outcomes; (2) the mediating role of parental burnout was significant; (3) the moderating role of PSC was also significant. This study suggests that students' behavior problems increase parental burnout, reducing academic outcomes. Next, higher self-compassion protected parents from the negative effect of children's behavior problems. The results of this study are meaningful for developing interventions, which help improve parents' mental health and children's positive outcomes.

Six microsatellites were used to characterize genetic diversity in three purebred giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) strains that originated from a diallel cross among two wild Vietnamese strain (Dong Nai and Mekong) and a third domesticated Hawaiian strain. All three purebred strains showed relatively high levels of genetic diversity with average number of alleles per locus (A) ranging from 13 to 15. Average observed (Ho) and expected (He) heterozygosities across loci were 0.84 to 0.89 and 0.87 to 0.89, respectively. Microsatellite data from the three purebred strains were pooled together as a basis for estimating the levels of genetic diversity in an synthetic hatchery population and this compared with data for genetic diversity in the three wild populations combined. No significant differences were observed in the relative levels of genetic diversity between the two combined populations. Average A, Ho, and He for the experimental vs. wild reference populations were 24.33 vs. 24.33, 0.87 vs. 0.90, and 0.94 vs. 0.95, respectively. Therefore, an experimental population formed by combining the genetic resources from three purebred strains showed non-significant loss of genetic diversity as a consequence of domestication process. Thus such a synthetic line can provide an important genetically diverse resource for the planned development of GFP culture in Vietnam.

This research aims to evaluate the current state of technology of enterprises in Vietnam in comparison with several countries in the AEC economic community, thereby to propose several recommendations to Vietnamese enterprises in order able to promote technology innovation activities, create competitiveness with enterprises in the region. Qualitative research methods are used through statistics and comparative descriptions from data collected from various sources: WEF, World Bank, CIEM, General Statistic Office. The study results show that Vietnamese enterprises still have many limitations in technology, originated from their small business scale (capital and labor), the current research capacity is still low, the funding for this activity is not high and the accessibility of the capital is still difficult. According to the Global Competitiveness Index, Vietnam's science and technology indexes are low compared to other AEC-developed countries including the availability of the latest technology; the acquisition of technology at the enterprise level; the capacity of improvement; quality of scientific research organizations..., which shall be a major barrier for Vietnamese enterprises to have to overcome to be able to create the competitiveness when entering the global market. From then on, the authors proposed solutions for two subjects, enterprises and government, to help Vietnamese enterprises to overcome this barrier.

Vietnam has an abundant of herbal traditional medicine with accumulated experience for thousands of years. They play an important role in the drug development. However, several therapeutic effects remain unknown among these plants. To explore active ingredients in the effective Vietnamese herbal medicine formulations for individual diseases and to understand therapeutic effects under scientific viewpoint, this project predicts therapeutic effects based on metabolite profiles. The herbal medicine database has been processed to get the useful information by the supporting of computational approach, particularly Random forest algorithm, Generalized Boosted Model and Support Vector Machine. Three specific therapeutic effects which are "Edema treatment", "Astrictive treatment" and "Cure sore eyes" - metabolites binary classification model to deal with multi-class classification and unbalanced class data problem. Since this project can reveal the main predictors of specific therapeutic effect, they are valuable information for further research of drug development.

Striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is a commercially important freshwater fish used in inland aquaculture in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. The culture industry is facing a significant challenge however from saltwater intrusion into many low topographical coastal provinces across the Mekong Delta as a result of predicted climate change impacts. Developing genomic resources for this species can facilitate the production of improved culture lines that can withstand raised salinity conditions, and so we have applied high-throughput Ion Torrent sequencing of transcriptome libraries from six target osmoregulatory organs from striped catfish as a genomic resource for use in future selection strategies. We obtained 12,177,770 reads after trimming and processing with an average length of 97 bp. De novo assemblies were generated using CLC Genomic Workbench, Trinity and Velvet/Oases with the best overall contig performance resulting from the CLC assembly. De novo assembly using CLC yielded 66,451 contigs with an average length of 478 bp and N50 length of 506 bp. A total of 37,969 contigs (57%) possessed significant similarity with proteins in the non-redundant database. Comparative analyses revealed that a significant number of contigs matched sequences reported in other teleost fishes, ranging in similarity from 45.2% with Atlantic cod to 52% with zebrafish. In addition, 28,879 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) and 55,721 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were detected in the striped catfish transcriptome. The sequence collection generated in the current study represents the most comprehensive genomic resource for P. hypophthalmus available to date. Our results illustrate the utility of next-generation sequencing as an efficient tool for constructing a large genomic database for marker development in non-model species.

We assessed correlations between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the actin and crustacean hyperglycemic hormone (CHH) genes with individual growth performance in giant freshwater prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Thirty SNPs were detected in the actin and CHH genes in broodstock of three M. rosenbergii strains (Dong Nai, Mekong, and Hawaiian) and their offspring. A preliminary study that evaluated all SNPs suggested an association between SNPs in intron 3 of the CHH gene and individual growth performance. A larger number of offspring (n = 243) then were genotyped and tested for the associations between SNPs in intron 3 and individual growth performance. Four intronic SNPs were associated significantly with three growth traits (body weight, carapace length, and standard length). Of these, CH3-2402 and CH3-2561 were highly correlated with all three traits, while CH3-2407 and CH3-2409 were correlated significantly only with body weight. A further haplotype-trait association analysis confirmed that these four SNP markers were in linkage disequilibrium, and the specific haplotype TGAA had significant associations with high growth (P

Additive genetic, heterotic and strain reciprocal effects were estimated using a diallel cross of two local wild strains of the giant freshwater prawn ( Macrobrachium rosenbergii ) in Vietnam (Dong Nai and Mekong) and a third domesticated Hawaiian strain, newly introduced to Vietnam. While some minor heterotic outcomes were detected in specific crosses, strain additive genetic and reciprocal effects were more significant sources of variation for all growth traits measured. Strain additive genetic effects were highest for the Hawaiian strain (+ 10.2%) and lowest for the Mekong strain (− 11.6%) for harvest body weight. A similar pattern of strain additive genetic effects was observed for carapace and standard length. Average heterotic outcomes for all growth traits were small and not significantly different from zero ( P > 0.05), and ranged from + 0.7 for carapace length to + 1.5% for body weight. The reciprocal effect had a positive effect on growth rate, because crosses between the Dong Nai (D) or Mekong (M) strains as dam and the Hawaiian (H) strain as sire grew faster than did their reciprocal crosses (HD and HM). The relative high correlation between strain additive performance and total performance for all traits ( r = 0.71 to 0.77) suggests potential for exploiting strain additive variation to improve M. rosenbergii culture stock via direct selection among strains. A breeding strategy for genetic improvement of giant freshwater prawn in Vietnam is discussed.

The giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) is one of the most important crustacean species produced in inland aquaculture in many tropical and subtropical countries worldwide. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the growth performance of three strains of giant freshwater prawn that originated from geographically separated locations in a complete (3x3) diallel cross as a starting point for a stock improvement program for the industry in Vietnam. Crosses were established over two generations using two wild Vietnamese river populations (Dong Nai and Mekong) domesticated for the study and an introduced Hawaiian strain that had been in Culture for many generations. juveniles from nine strain combinations were produced using single-pair matings. Results after 15 weeks of grow-out in hapas showed that growth performance of the Hawaiian strain was best among the purebred strains and that certain cross combinations grew significantly faster than purebred strains. Mean body weights of specific cross combinations with Dong Nai or Mekong as dams and the introduced strain (Hawaiian) as sires were significantly heavier than those of Purebred Dong Nai or Mekong strains. While males reached heavier mean weights than females. male variation among the strains was obscured by social factors that produced different frequencies of male morphotypes (blue claw, orange claw and small males). Results suggest presence of potentially Valuable heterosis and possible impact of the direction of cross. From a practical Viewpoint this Could be exploited upon by either, including different forms of crossbreeding, or alternatively, by creating a composite Population for future selection. De novo assembly using CLC yielded 29,940 contigs, and allowing identification of 5,710 putative genes when comppared with NCBI non-redundant database. A large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were also detected. The sequence collection generated in our study represents the most comprehensive transcriptomic resource for P. hypophthalmus available to date.

This paper presents the results of optimal design and control for a Stewart-Gough Platform. An experimental system was designed for the optimization of the parallel manipulator control based on a selected optimal configuration. This system is an open design for variation different configurations and controllers to support parallel manipulator research and applications. A parameters space investigation (PSI) algorithm with the Pareto optimal set was used to optimize parallel manipulator configuration with limited survey workspace. A tradition PID control and a self-tuning Fuzzy PID control algorithm were applied for real-time motion control of parallel manipulator. Quality system standards will be analyzed with different controllers. The system can be a useful tool for research and training purposes.

The striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) culture industry in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam has developed rapidly over the past decade. The culture industry now however, faces some significant challenges, especially related to climate change impacts notably from predicted extensive saltwater intrusion into many low topographical coastal provinces across the Mekong Delta. This problem highlights a need for development of culture stocks that can tolerate more saline culture environments as a response to expansion of saline water-intruded land. While a traditional artificial selection program can potentially address this need, understanding the genomic basis of salinity tolerance can assist development of more productive culture lines. The current study applied a transcriptomic approach using Ion PGM technology to generate expressed sequence tag (EST) resources from the intestine and swim bladder from striped catfish reared at a salinity level of 9 ppt which showed best growth performance. Total sequence data generated was 467.8 Mbp, consisting of 4,116,424 reads with an average length of 112 bp. De novo assembly was employed that generated 51,188 contigs, and allowed identification of 16,116 putative genes based on the GenBank non-redundant database. GO annotation, KEGG pathway mapping, and functional annotation of the EST sequences recovered with a wide diversity of biological functions and processes. In addition, more than 11,600 simple sequence repeats were also detected. This is the first comprehensive analysis of a striped catfish transcriptome, and provides a valuable genomic resource for future selective breeding programs and functional or evolutionary studies of genes that influence salinity tolerance in this important culture species.

This paper examined the parallel mechanisms such as Stewart-Gough platform, for which an algorithm for determining the groups of linearly dependent screws that arise in singular condition. The algorithms to determine the model of mechanism take into account singularities configuration based on screw theory are proposed, the criterion of closeness to singularity is determined, the basic impact modeling results of parallel mechanisms. The research results on issues of singular condition of the parallel mechanism, which uses screw theory and Plucker coordinates. The experimental based on computation and determining the parameters of kinematic, dynamics and simulation for the control parallel mechanisms are considered. Speaking of which resolved the relations velocity, acceleration between the moving platform with the legs in the application; and relationship between external forces acting on the moving platform with forces on the legs of the system.
