Agricultural clusters are a new and specific form of meeting the fruit and vegetable needs of the inhabitants of arcology skyscrapers. The technological spaces of these clusters require a shell-protected volume structure against external influences with a specific functional purpose, according to the specifics of the production in them. This envelope should allow architectural execution in different geographical areas, including those with harsh climate. Innovative technical solutions with an inventive step (protected by patents for inventions) are a prerequisite for ensuring a microclimate with precisely defined parameters. The high competitiveness of agricultural production will depend on the way, in which selected varieties (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, or cultivated blueberries, raspberries) are grown. The location of the technological spaces of the clusters can be on an open roof, in separate one or two floors with a prefabricated structure, also located on the roof, or in the last floors of the arcology skyscraper - for example greenhouses with shelves. The construction of the clusters and the arcology skyscraper must guarantee resistance to wind, earthquake and fire. With increased consumption of certain varieties, in two or three neighboring skyscrapers can be concentrated their production in other similar agricultural clusters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The subject of consideration is the architectural construction and technological features of the specialized clusters, intended for agricultural needs and for specific care, such as education, recreation and sports, medical care. In this way, the significant limitations in the human environment caused by a large-scale pandemic (COVID-19), can be overcome in tall skyscraper buildings located in megacities. The COVID-19 pandemic rearranges human priorities in the big city. The supply of food and basic care occupy a central place in the life of every inhabitant. Author’s projects for skyscrapers are presented, which offer various solutions for growing honey plants, bee families (Hong Kong, Mumbai), fruits, vegetables, algae and fish products (Toronto, Mumbai). The storage of cereals in appropriate silos (Hong Kong) is an important point in the supply of wheat, corn, barley, buckwheat and others needed for the planning modules for education and emergency medical care are also offered. Under the background of digital transformation and quality improvement in private colleges and universities, in order to further improve the digital literacy of teachers in private colleges and universities, we should improve their digital technology application ability, digital teaching resources application ability, digital teaching method innovation ability, digital teaching platform application ability and digital education evaluation ability. This paper puts forward a new solution to how to improve the digital literacy ability of teachers in private colleges and universities.

Chambers with a suitable microclimate, which consist of one or two spaces, are situated on two or three floors on the plates of a bridging construction, made of plates and beam walls. The chambers together with the bridging construction are placed on a shuttering platform, made as a space frame construction. With the help of 12 elevators (6 situated over the platform and 6 situated under the platform), which are situated in all of the four kernels, the shuttering platform together with the bridging construction are being elevated to the respective floor level, where the fruits and vegetables will be cultivated and stored. The bridging construction is connected to the floors and the chambers with the help of wall piers, protruding from the kernels. The mounting is done in the bottom-up direction. Greenhouses situated inside chambers, made entirely of transparent elements, can be situated on the uppermost floor of the skyscraper. The elevator technology used to elevate the chambers for storage and cultivation of fruits and vegetables has been implemented in the design of skyscraper, designed for a competition (sky velodrome - Toronto. Project = 1000001495). The patents used in the design of the project represent an integral part of the dissertation work of the author. Integration of architectural forms into the environment requires appropriate selection of elements to achieve environmental sustainability and balance. Green roofs and walls, gardens and water cascades, as an integral part of the exterior and interior, are the main components used for the extension of between the Alvar Aalto Museum and the Museum of Central Finland. The transfer of environmental faults (mogs) in advantage (medium of heating or cooling after its liquidation), has been contributed to this. Other innovation solutions with combinations are integrated in The enlargement project between knowledge and new technical features allowing the use of: - solar energy for heating the internal three floor extension through "flooded balloons" with warm air, located on the roof; - the space closed between the two double umbrellas of the windows for making a warm air and the following discharge in the space of the expansion of two museums; - as a pipe net with different thicknesses and lengths of pipes filling the role of a sunny energy collector. Nowadays, the greatest challenge that the educational system faces is the way we learn. This leads to the need for coming up with much better methods in order to develop and form and turn into habit key life skills, also known as ‘21st century skills’, (problem solving, creativity, teamwork, communication, initiative, leadership, adaptability, etc.). A successful way to accomplish this is project-based learning. The missions that are part of the ‘Design thinking’ method are an innovative way for its implementation. Therefore, this method is being used during the school year of 2020/2021 in Bacho Kiro High School, town of Pavlikeni, as part of a project under which turned the school into innovative. ‘Design thinking’ is a process which can be applied to everything that has to be produced, created or solved. This method helps younger pupils organize information and ideas in a better way, understand other people’s point of view and their problems more clearly, manage to lay down challenges accurately, think of more creative ideas and find quick ways to put them into practice. Every realized activity or ‘Design thinking’ project helps pupils understand that they can face unknown challenges as a team and find new solutions. There are seven missions for a single school year. There is one mission in a month, each in five consecutive days for 2 hours a day. Thanks to their creators from the Red Paper Plane, pupils became architects, space-men and discoverers. They await to become ecologists, travelers, meteorologists and automobile designers. All pupils, teachers and parents together have embarked on an incredible journey on the wings of the red paper plane so that the pupils from Bacho Kiro High School, town of Pavlikeni, are happy and successful in the 21st century. The article discusses the creation of agricultural complexes related to the cultivation of local fruits and vegetables in tall buildings, such as skyscrapers. A combination of multi-storey orchards and small orchards located on the lower floor of the penthouses of these tall buildings is proposed. The processing of fruits and vegetables can take place in one or two of the technical floors of the skyscraper structure. In the lower floors of the skyscraper there are also larger fruit storages for storing the excess products intended for transportation to the local markets. It is especially important for the occupants to provide spaces for premises that will be used for a second purpose for medical purposes - for example for forced quarantine isolation in epidemics and pandemics (such as Corona virus), threatening the health and lives of the occupants. In this regard, the skyscraper was designed in Kun Ming, China. The structure of this skyscraper also integrates modern innovative technologies for energy maintenance of the building (photovoltaic coatings, greenhouse effect, steam generator), collection and use of rainwater. The new solution is about creating an attractive habitat for aquariums using fluorescent fish. The aquariums are housed in floor lifts combined with gardens (Annual international architectural elevator design competition); on balconies and apartment buildings, (Bamboo Skyscraper, Singapore); on the floors of horseshoe elements covering the body of the skyscraper, (Hong Kong Skyscraper); multi-storey rotating water rings, broken down into smaller volumes, for multifunctional use, used as aquariums, for aquaculture cultivation for the needs of residents, for sports, for artificial osmosis and others, (Container Skyscraper, Mumbai, India); the glowing fish are in streams connecting water curtains, flowing down the interior walls and passing under transparent floor coverings and reaching a pool or aquarium located on the first and second floors of an apartment dwelling, (Skyscraper in Kun Min, China). A completely different living environment has been created for living, working and leisure environments, thanks to the new furniture design. Aquariums are appropriately built into the construction of chairs, dining tables, armchairs, sofas and tables, and so on. The furniture is part of the skyscraper project in Kun Min, China. The use of natural phenomena (fluorescent algae) represents a specific way to improve the shape-forming when designing the interior of new buildings. The unexpected combinations of well-known technical indicators (elevators, aquariums) and new indicators (fluorescent algae in multi-storey transparent elevators) lead to a positive technical effect (the attractive interior lighting of the multi-storey transparent elevators and the floor gardens), as well as to an increased level of originality. The above-mentioned combinations form the patent claims of patent application "Multi-storied panoramic elevator" - BG111889 of 17.12.2014 (Aleksandrov, 2014). The healthy way of life in skyscrapers requires the everyday availability of fresh fruits and vegetables to the inhabitants. It is even more convenient when the produce is cultivated on-site, whereas its production can be realised in close proximity to the individual residences or offices. Furthermore, these internal gardens can be easily connected to storage facilities which are available inside the skyscrapers. To implement this, multi-storey panoramic elevators, equipped with smaller internal elevators and aquariums fi lled with fl uorescent algae can be built. These aquariums can be situated near the shafts of the panoramic elevators. Such a solution is covered by patent application № BG111889 of 17.12.2014. This new solution - cultivation of soft fruits and vegetables in a superskyscraper in Hong Kong is based on the theory of inventive steps of the author. New solutions have direct impact on the design of details for superskyscrapers, including the design of details which improve the cultivation of soft fruits and vegetables in superskyscrapers. Abstract: An experimental study has been performed to investigate the heat and mass transfer performance in a falling film absorber of a small-sized absorption chiller/heater. The components of the chiller/heater were concentrically arranged in a cylindrical form with a low temperature generator, an absorber and an evaporator from the center. The arrangement of such a helical-type heat exchanger makes the system more compact compared to a conventional one. As a working fluid, LiBr+LiI+LiNO3 +LiCl solution is used to get improved heat transfer effect. The heat and mass transfer coefficients of the helical absorber provide similar values compared with the data obtained for horizontal absorbers at similar solution flow rates. The heat and mass transfer coefficients of LiBr+LiI+LiNO3 +LiCl solution increase as the solution flow rate per unit length increases. However, if the solution flow rate is larger than 0.03kg/ms, the heat and mass transfer increase is minimal. Thus, 0.03kg/ms is recommended as an optimal solution flow rate. The heat and mass flux performance of LiBr+LiI+LiNO3 +LiCl solution shows the tendency of 2–5% increase compared with that of LiBr solution. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The formation of the microdroplets on fibres for the MDT test offers an opportunity to carry out surface tension measurements based on the angle of contact between the resin and the fibre. Liquid microdroplets of epoxy were deposited on glass fibres, and their diameter, length and cone angle were measured. The equilibrium shape of the droplet can be derived from the principle of conservation of work and energy. If the surface tension of the polymer droplet and the specific surface energy of the polymer coated fibre are similar, then the interfacial tension is given simply by: [sub γint] = (1- m)[sub γ], where m is the gradient of a linear plot of functions of the measured parameters and [sub γ] is the liquid surface tension. The measurement of contact angles on a droplet/fibre system have been reported previously; however, our method proposes a different geometry and consequently a simpler solution to the problem, with an additional advantage of verification on the droplet equilibrium and accuracy of measurements.
