The article discusses the use of the Komi indefinite pronoun MыйKö 'something' as a discourse marker. It is revealed that synchronically this pronoun is as a multifunctional linguistic unit. When used as a discourse marker, it shows different degrees of embeddedness in the morphosyntactic structure of the utterance: it may function as an agreeing or as a non-agreeing (default) marker. As an agreeing marker, it is inflected for the categories of the constituent it replaces, either fully or partially. Its function is an approximative marker or placeholder. It is shown that the marker most often replaces a substantive component, where, as a rule, it shows grammatical marking fully coinciding with the grammatical design of the replaced unit. In verb substitution, there is either a pronominal verb formed on the basis of the pronoun 'something' with the help of derivational suffixes, or a construction with the auxiliary verb 'to do'. The paper deals with the semantic-functional peculiarities of a case whose spatial meaning is the expression of a vertical limit. As a result of a comparative analysis of the semantics of terminative cases their similarities and differences in the expression of limitation, and also factors defining the choice between competing units are revealed. This paper analyzes the effect of exogenous urea in increased concentration gradient (0, 100, 500 and 1,000 mg L) on photosynthetic pigments (measured spectrophotometrically), uptake of CO (using radioisotope), and urease activity (by measuring ammonia with Nessler's reagent) in leaves of Elodea densa Planch. We have observed that low concentration of urea (100 mg L) stimulates the accumulation of photosynthetic pigments and intensifies photosynthesis in E. densa, whereas high concentration (1,000 mg L) suppresses these processes. Urease activity increased by approximately 2.7 and 8 fold when exogenous urea concentrations were 100 and 500 mg L, respectively. However, exogenous urea in high concentration (1,000 mg L) decreased urease activity by 1.5 fold compared to the control. The necessity of mitigating urea and other nitrogen-containing compounds (NH from urea) in water bodies has been discussed with emphasis on the potential for phytoremediation of urea using common water weed viz. The article offers information on the doctoral thesis which was submitted Russian scholar Nikolay Kuznetsov who has presented a cognitive analysis of several locative cases in Komi Language. It informs that theoretical basis of linguistics proves the ability of author to analyze a material. It discusses the most complex issue the semantics of case suffix in Komi Language.

The inessive word form participation in derivational processes is revealed in the article, derivational potential of its derivatives is examined.
