The current project reports two chemical reactions of A3 coupling and creation of three reactans simultaneously and in domino form by bimetallic magnetic nanocatalyst (cobalt/manganese). This bimetallic nanocatalyst was heterogeneously synthesized by a simple chemical co-precipitation method and identified and analyzed by FE-SEM, TEM, VSM, ICP, BET, FT-IR, EDX, etc. analyses. The experimental results showed that the structure of the nanocatalyst is very regular and flexible, and its surface has spaces in nanometer sizes to carry out these chemical reactions. The efficiency and power of the nanocatalyst is very high and it has a special feature for easy separation from the reaction by an external field. The performed triple coupling reactions include the formation of the imide product, the propargylic product. The derivatives of this product each have a high percentage of 76% and selectivity of 98%. These products are widely used in new precursors for making antioxidant and antimicrobial drugs in medical and chemical industries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research was designed to evaluate the performance of the CuFe12O19/CuS/Xenon system in the degradation of tetracycline in aqueous solutions. In this study, after green synthesis of nanocomposite using the extract of the Artemisia plant, its properties were determined by XRD, FTIR, FESEM, TEM, BET, XPS, DRS, DLS, EDS, VSM, and PL. In addition, parameters affecting the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline, including time, pH, TC initial concentration, and nanocomposite dose, were assessed. The findings showed that the degradation efficiency increases with increasing pH and catalyst dosage. Under optimum circumstances (pH = 9, nanocomposite dose of 0.5 g/L, and time 200 min), the process efficiency with concentration of 20 mg/L was 100%. The kinetics of the degradation rate of tetracycline obeyed the pseudo-first-order equation. In addition, the results show that after six consecutive cycles, the synthesized catalyst's ability did not significantly reduce. The results of the mineralization tests revealed that the COD and TOC degradation of the synthetic solution of tetracycline with a concentration of 20 mg/L reached 87.25% and 73.06%, respectively, in the optimal reaction conditions. The scavenger experiments confirmed that OH plays the most crucial role in the decomposition process of tetracycline. The carbon-carbon bond formation reactions have always been interesting for scientists because of their wide range of uses in organic chemistry. The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is a famous reaction for the C-C bond formation. The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is applied to synthesize a wide range of pharmaceutical and biological compounds. In this research, a Cu (II) Salen complex supported on KCC-1 (Cu (II) Salen complex@KCC-1) has been synthesized and characterized for the C-C bond formation reaction. The synthesized catalyst was determined to be an effective heterogeneous catalyst for the coupling reaction of Suzuki-Miyaura. The synthesized catalyst was characterized via XRD, FT-IR, TEM, and EDX, and the organic compound was identification with melting-point, FT-IR, and 1H NMR techniques. Cu (II) Salen @ KCC-1 complex can be separated and reused simply in the reaction mixture and reused several consecutive runs without significantly reducing the catalyst's performance.
