Abstract

Modern communication networks require improved signal quality and spectrum efficiency. Modern wireless communication relies heavily on the multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technology to improve spectrum efficiency and achieve faster data rates. However, the performance of MIMO systems is significantly hampered by non-linear distortions in power amplifiers (PA), especially under dynamic operating conditions. Traditional methods to reduce these distortions often lack the adaptability required for effective optimization. The proposed dynamic nonlinear distortion adaptive optimization analysis (DNDAOA) therefore introduces an adaptive approach that dynamically adjusts the pre-distortion signals using real-time feedback mechanisms. DNDAOA effectively reduces non-linear distortions and thus improves the performance of MIMO systems. Simulation results show that DNDAOA significantly increases spectrum efficiency, reduces error rates, and improves signal quality. This method is widely used in areas such as wireless telecommunications, internet of things (IoT), autonomous vehicles, and smart infrastructure, driving advances in connectivity, reliability, and data integrity.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, which analyses and controls city processes in real-time, serves essential for enhancing applications relevant to smart cities. Solid waste management, which has an adverse impact on both the environment and the overall wellness of the society, is one of the most vital issues connected to smart city applications. Waste produced by city inhabitants and disposed into the garbage cans is where the traditional waste management process starts. On an assigned schedule, trucks from the municipal department collect and transport the discards to the recycling facilities. Outdoor dumpsters receive little attention by municipalities and garbage management firms, making it difficult to know when to clean them or when they are filled. In order to get beyond the drawbacks of conventional waste management systems, this work proposes an IoT-enabled solid waste management approach for smart cities. The proposed layout includes a LoRaWAN gateway, a sensor-enabled anti-littering system, and a bin monitoring system with a GPS module, which are used to track bins in public and residential regions. This approach infers the location and the level of the garbage can, processes the information, and sends it to a central monitoring station for storage and analysis. The garbage collection authority may observe and assess the unfilled status of each trash can, due to an evident Graphical User Interface. Numerous data have been gathered to validate the suggested system architecture, and direct visits to the dump yards have been made in order to analyse the current scenario. As a result of the proposed smart waste management solution using IoT, the life expectancy of living things is said to increase, and this will be clearly visible.

Abstract

An Innovative Modular multilevel matrix converter (M3C) is proposed with reduced number of switching device owing to the improved efficiency, reduced cost and minimizes the size. Offshore Low-Frequency AC (LFAC) transmissions are economical with greater reliability for short and intermediate distance transmissions. Similar to HVDC, it increases the transmission capacity and also distance can be increased in LFAC.M3C is proposed as frequency converters for LFAC transmissions which link AC systems operating at 16.7 and 50 Hz. The double αβ0 transform control technique has been the most often used approach for decoupling control of input, output and circulating currents in such applications. The performances of this work's proposed modular multilevel matrix converters are analysed using simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
