Urban development leads to frequent changes in land use, which leads to temporal and spatial variation of carbon emissions. In this study, land use change data, economic and social data, and energy consumption data of Nanchang City from 2000 to 2020 were used to estimate the spatio-temporal evolution of carbon emissions in Nanchang City, and the LMDI model was used to identify the main driving factors affecting the change of carbon emissions in Nanchang City. It is found that from 2000 to 2020, the carbon emission of Nanchang City has a great change, showing a "parabolic" change law, that is, rising first and then decreasing. Comparing the carbon emissions of various districts and counties, the central city is higher than the surrounding districts and counties. Economic development, land use activities and population status have a positive effect on the increase of carbon emissions, and carbon emission intensity per unit of land and land intensity per unit of GDP have a positive effect on the reduction of carbon emissions. The adjustment and optimization of energy consumption structure and the improvement of human-land policies in Nanchang from the perspectives of optimizing land use layout and structure, rationally controlling population size, and advocating low-carbon lifestyle are conducive to the construction of ecological civilization and sustainable development of Nanchang. The impervious surface destroys the regional ecological environment. The research on the correlation between impervious surface and comprehensive ecological effects is of great significance to the optimization of the spatial pattern of land. The impervious surface cover in 2000, 2010, and 2020 was obtained from the linear spectral mixture decomposition model. The spatiotemporal changes characteristics of impervious surface in Nanchang City were analyzed. Indicators such as surface temperature, surface runoff, water network density, habitat quality, NDVI, and carbon emissions were selected to construct a comprehensive ecological effect evaluation system. Geographically weighted regression model was used to explore the spatial correlation between impervious surface changes and the comprehensive ecological effect index in the study area. The results showed that: 1) From 2000 to 2020, the proportion of impervious surface in the total land area of Nanchang City increased from 5.80% to 13.59%, and the overall distribution decreased from the central urban area to the outside, forming a multi-level distribution pattern with the central urban area as the main body, Anyi County and Xinjian District as multiple sub cores. 2) From 2000 to 2020, the concentration of spatial distribution in all districts and counties of Nanchang City was increased, and the impervious surface maintained a rapid growth trend. The central urban area was the area with the most intense transformation from natural surface to artificial surface. 3) From 2000 to 2020, the negative regression impact of impervious surface coverage and comprehensive ecological effect index in Nanchang City first increased and then weakened, from -0.1304 to -0.3745, and then to -0.1099. While the impervious surface deteriorated the regional ecological environment, Nanchang City was actively solving problems such as serious environmental pollution and reduced ecological quality. Against the backdrop of incremental planning moving towards stock planning, strengthening urban public space design to promote high-quality urban development has become a focus of attention for domestic scholars. Street is a linear element of urban public space, and it is of great significance for improving the quality of urban public space by studying the micro renewal design strategy of street space. Based on the interpretation of two urban renewal cases, Wangjing Street in Beijing and Mengzhuiwan in Chengdu, taking Baihuazhou area in Nanchang City as an example, this paper analyzes the main problems in the current situation of street space in Baihuazhou area from three aspects: space use, traffic organization, and waterfront space creation, and explores the micro renewal design strategy of the street space. A. temperature forecasting model was created firstly based on the Kalman filter method, and then used to predict the highest and lowest temperature in Nanchang station from October 27 to November 1, 2017. Finally, according to the empirical forecasting method, guidance forecasts were established for the northern, central, and southern parts of Nanchang City. After inspection, it was found that the temperature prediction model established based on the Kalman filter method in Nanchang station had good prediction performance, and especially in the 24-hour forecast, it had advantages over the European Center. [Objective] The aims of this study are to investigate the spatial configuration and scale nesting characteristics of ecological networks under the two scales of Nanchang City and Nanchang City Circle, and to provide reference for regional ecological security protection. [Methods] Nanchang City Circle was taken as the research area. Based on the comprehensive sources identification framework of ‘Function-Attribute-Structure’, the ecological sources were extracted under the two scales of Nanchang City and Nanchang City Circle, and the ecological network was constructed by the Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) model. Simultaneously, nested analysis of ecological corridors, ecological pinch points, and barrier points at two scales were conducted to identify similarities and differences across different scales. [Results] (1) The comprehensive ecosystem services in Nanchang City were significantly lower than those in the Nanchang City Circle. There were significant faults in the top 35% of the comprehensive ecosystem services at the two scales. Combined with the structure and attribute characteristics, 56 ecological sources were extracted at the scale of Nanchang City, and the distribution of the ecological sources was more fragmented from the east to the west, while 78 ecological sources were extracted at the scale of Nanchang City Circle, and the spatial distribution of the ecological sources was more uniform. (2) At the scale of Nanchang City, 77 ecological corridors were constructed, and the corridors connecting the east and west sources of Nanchang City were fragile. At the scale of Nanchang City Circle, 310 ecological corridors were constructed, of which 29 were used to connect the ecological sources of Nanchang City and surrounding counties and districts. The ecological sources in Nanchang City and those in surrounding counties and districts of Nanchang City had strong interaction and connection. (3) The ecological processes of two different scales in Nanchang City and Nanchang City Circle were closely related. There were 26 overlapping corridors under the two scales, a total of 611.78 km, 4 overlapping ecological pinch points and 8 overlapping barrier points. The ecological pinch points were significantly different in the northwest and east of Nanchang City, and the barrier points were significantly different in the northeast and southwest of Nanchang City. [Conclusion] Nanchang′s ecological network is relatively stable. There are many overlapping features of corridors, ecological pinch points, and barrier points in the ecological network at two scales, and they are essential for ecological conservation and restoration. The repair of overlapping elements can increase the link of the ecological network on the east and west sides of the city, as well as help to maintain the general safety and stability of the city′s ecosystem. Sponge cities are disaster-resilient and sustainable infrastructure, and the emergence of impervious surfaces hinders the construction of sponge cities. In response to the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the study of the spatio-temporal evolution and influencing factors of impervious surfaces provides an effective basis for the construction of sponge cities. In this paper, multi-source remote sensing images (Landsat 4–5 TM was used in 2000 and 2010, Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS was used in 2020) were used as data sources to construct a multi-feature impervious surface estimation model. By combining and refining the advantages of MISI, NDBI, and BUAI feature indices, we obtained the impervious surface cover of Nanchang City in 2000, 2010, and 2020. And its spatio-temporal evolution characteristics were analyzed by using the ESDA. The main factors of the impervious surface were analyzed by using the ordinary panel data model and the spatial durbin model. Results: (1) From 2000 to 2020, the impervious surface area of Nanchang City increased from 516.13 to 1075.12 km2. The overall impervious surface distribution in Nanchang City expressed a significant neighborhood distribution; (2) socio-economic factors had a positive role in promoting the impervious surface of Nanchang City. Among them, the correlation coefficient of the economic development index (0.2332), real estate investment (0.1518), and gross industrial output value (0.0453) were the most significant in the local areas; (3) the economic development index (0.2307), real estate investment (0.0251), and passenger volume (0.1679) stimulated the growth of impervious surfaces in adjacent areas, and the total population (-0.8074) had a buffering effect on adjacent areas. In order to promote the sustainable development of the region, it is necessary to propose corresponding measures and suggestions based on the impervious surface of Nanchang City. In recent years, with the support and promotion of relevant policies such as the Opinions on Promoting Study Tour for Primary and Secondary School Students jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and 11 other departments, a wave of study tour has been sparked nationwide from individual pilot projects to gradual promotion. In this paper, students and teachers from grades 4 to 6 of L Primary School in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province were selected as the survey objects. Combining the survey questionnaire, the current situation of conducting study tour in the primary school was sorted out and analyzed in depth from several aspects such as study tour cognition, study tour participation, study tour implementation, etc. Based on the survey results and relevant research, the current problems in conducting study tours in primary schools were summarized, and targeted improvement measures were proposed, in order to promote the healthy development of study tours in primary schools. [Objective] The changes in land use under different low-carbon scenarios were simulated, and the differences in carbon storage and carbon emissions under multiple scenarios were compared in order to provide relevant suggestions for the low-carbon development of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. [Methods] The land use structure in 2030 was optimized based on the maximum carbon storage scenario and the minimum carbon emission scenario. The FLUS model was used to simulate the spatial distribution characteristics of land use in Nanchang City under multiple scenarios. [Results] ① According to the optimization results of the quantity structure, the carbon emissions of land use under the maximum carbon storage and minimum carbon emission scenarios were smaller than under the natural development scenario, and carbon storage was greater than under the natural development scenario. Overall, the effect of quantitative structure optimization of land use under the scenario of maximum carbon sink was better. ② According to the spatial structure simulation results, construction land under the low-carbon scenario was relatively concentrated in spatial distribution compared with the natural development scenario. The areas of carbon emission reduction and carbon storage increase were mainly located in the central and southern regions. [Conclusion] It is suggested to optimize land use structure, implement ecological protection and cultivate land protection policies, limit excessive expansion of construction land, and strengthen the regulation of key areas, so as to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality of Nanchang City as soon as possible.

Urban ecological environmental quality monitoring is a necessary factor to achieve urban green development. Remote sensing technology is widely used in urban ecological environment quality evaluation with its advantages of large monitoring scope and real-time transmission. In order to objectively reflect the quality of the urban ecological environment, remote sensing based ecological index (RSEI) could be used for evaluation. However, the RSEI has the problem of the low contribution rate of the first principal component, which makes the evaluation results less accurate. Therefore, improved remote sensing ecological index ( IRSEI) was used to improve the accuracy of the model in evaluating the ecological environment quality, which replaced normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) with universal normalized vegetation index(UNVI). The Landsat remote sensing image of Nanchang City 2003—2021 was processed to obtain the distribution and change of the quality of ecological environment. The results show that the contribution rate of the first principal component of IRSEI was 3. 6% higher than that of RSEI, and the average correlation degree of humidity, greenness, dryness and heat in each year was 7. 2% higher than that of RSEI. From 2003 to 2021, the overall mean of IRSEI in Nanchang did not change significantly. The areas with high ecological quality were mainly distributed in Poyang Lake region, Meiling and Anyi counties, while the areas with low ecological quality were mainly distributed in the central city and Liuhu Town in the southwest. It is concluded that the overall ecological environment quality of Nanchang City showed a downward trend and then continued to rise from 2003 to 2021. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To address the issue of seasonal water resource shortages in Nanchang City, a multi-system coupling socio-hydrology simulation method was proposed. This approach involves dynamically integrating a centralized socio-economic model with a distributed surface water groundwater numerical model to explore the intricate relationships between the socio-economic system, the surface water–groundwater integrated system, and the outcomes related to seasonal water resource shortages. Taking Nanchang City as an example, this study conducted research on the water resource supply and demand balance, as well as the groundwater emergency supply, using the multi-system coupling model. Three scenarios were established: status quo, developing, and water-saving. The results show that with the increasing total water demand of social and economic development, the severity of the water resource shortage will be most pronounced in 2030. The minimum water resources supply and demand ratios for the status quo, developing, and water-saving scenarios are projected to be 0.68, 0.52, and 0.77, respectively. To meet residents' water needs during drought conditions, emergency groundwater supply efforts are investigated. According to the simulation results, groundwater emergency supply would increase the total population by 24.0 thousand, 49.4 thousand, and 11.2 thousand people, respectively, in the status quo, developing, and water-saving scenarios. In the water-saving scenario, the Youkou and Xiebu water sources can serve as suitable emergency water sources. In the status quo scenario, the Youkou water source is the most viable emergency water source. However, in the developing scenario, relying solely on any single water source for emergency supply could have an irreversible impact on the aquifer. Therefore, considering the simultaneous use of multiple water sources is recommended, as it can fulfill water demands while ensuring the sustainable utilization of groundwater resources. Although some researchers have explored spatiotemporal characteristics of the land surface temperature (LST) and analyzed how the influencing factors impact the LST, the comprehensive influencing factors and specific spatial relationships that explore the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect from long time scale have rarely received widespread attention. Taking Nanchang as an example, this paper first uses Landsat data to retrieve the LST in years 2000, 2010, and 2019. Then, the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) model is utilized to investigate the various influencing factors. The results showed as follows: (1) The UHI effect was intensified in the past 20 years in Nanchang City. From 2000 to 2019, the “heat island” increased from 63.06% to 64.07%, while the “green island” decreased from 36.94% to 35.93%. (2) The spatiotemporal anisotropy of the UHI effect was significant. (3) The GWR model could better reveal the spatial heterogeneity of the factors affecting the UHI effects. The relationship between Soil Brightness Index (NDSI), Normalized Difference Built-up Index (NDBI), and Night-lighting (NL) and the relative UHI effect intensity had significant spatial non-stationarity. This study can provide some references from reasonable urban planning to alleviate the urban heat island.

[Objective] The changes and differences in landscape structure and network connectivity of ecological land in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province under different development scenarios in the future in order to provide a reference for environmental protection planning and project construction in Nanchang City. [Methods] Based on the PLUS model, the future ecological land use pattern of Nanchang City was predicted for multiple scenarios. Differences in landscape structure and network connectivity of ecological land in different regions and the structures of the city under different development intensities were studied from the perspectives of quantity and structure through landscape pattern index, morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA), and network connectivity analysis. [Results] ① Under different development scenarios, the destruction of ecological land was mainly concentrated in Anyi County and Xinjian District; ② The fragmentation of grassland was very serious, and there was little difference in landscape structure under any development scenario. The difference in landscape index between forest land and water area was small under the ED and EP scenarios, showing strong resistance to medium and high intensity development; ③ Under different development scenarios, the difference in ecological core area was as high as 90.36 km2. Ecological land with multiple types of uniform mixed structure can effectively suppress the generation of isolated islands and maintain regional ecological security; ④ Compared with 2020, under various scenarios, the equivalent possible connectivity index EC (PC) of Nanchang City decreased by 18.76%~23.24%, and the network connectivity in Xinjian District and Anyi County decreased significantly. [Conclusion] The ecological protection scenario (EP) development plan can effectively protect the ecological landscape structure and network security of Nanchang City, thereby ensuring the sustainable development of the city. At the same time, when carrying out ecological protection planning and restoration projects, priority should be given to the construction of new areas, Anyi County, and other fragile ecological landscape areas so as to better maintain the ecological security of Nanchang.

[ObjectiveH Landscape ecological risk is an effective indicator to identify regional ecological risks and measure regional ecological security. Based on the construction of impervious surface, the environmental response of human activities to the formation and exacerbation of risks can be intuitively determined. Regional landscape ecological risk assessment and the influencing factors of the aggravated risk areas are analyzed, which has scientific significance and practical value for curbing the emerging and spreading of risk exacerbation zones. Methods] Nanchang City was taken as an example, the information of impervious surface was obtained to construct a landscape ecological risk index. The spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of landscape ecological risk were analyzed. The influencing factors of landscape ecological risk in the study area was measured by using geographic detectors. --Results] (1) From 201 0 to 2020, the area of impervious surface in Nanchang City increased dramatically, from 648.63 km' to 1 ()75.12, and the resources of agricultural land and ecological land continued to decline. The impervious surface was mainly converted from landscapes such as cultivated land, forest land, and water areas, and the degree of interference from human activities increased. (2) From 201 0 to 2020, the spatial distribution of Nanchang's landscape ecological risk index was presented as low in the middle and high on both sides. The average value of landscape pattern index decreased as a whole. Tn 2()1(): 2015, and 2020, the areas of high-risk areas of landscape ecology in Nan ch ang City were 519.73, 324.82 km2, and 365.04 km2, respectively. The area of landscape ecological high-risk areas first decreased and then increased. The areas were dominated by landscape ecological medium-high-risk areas and medium-risk areas. (3) The influencing factors of landscape ecological risk in Nan ch ang City in 2010, 2015 and 2()2() were dominated by socio-economic factors and distance factors. The interaction effects of the influencing factors were all larger than the explanation degree of a single factor. The distance factor had a positive effect on natural climate factors and socioeconomic factors. (4) The landscape ecological risk exacerbation zone in Nan ch ang City was dominated by landscape types such as forest land, water area and cultivated land. Exacerbation zones were caused by multiple factors such as natural environment, socioeconomics, and accessibility, but the impact of human activities was more prominent. Conclusion] The landscape ecological status of Nanchang City has been improving. The impacts of natural environment, social economy, distance and other factors on the landscape ecological risk index and risk exacerbation areas are different and interactive. [Objective] The regional ecological environmental effects caused by land use changes in Nanchang City by determining the quantitative relationships between regional land and resource development and ecological environments were analyzed in order to providing support for regional ecological environmental protection, ecological civilization construction, and green development. [Methods] The temporal and spatial change trajectory of land use changes was calculated by using a land use transfer matrix and a nuclear density analysis model. The impact of land use changes on the ecosystem was deduced by an eco-environmental quality index and the ecological contribution rate. [Results] ① From 2000 to 2020, the land use change in Nanchang City was mainly from grassland and cultivated land to construction land, from forest land and water area to cultivated land, and from cultivated land to water area; ② From 2000 to 2020, the spatial agglomeration evolution of land use change in Nanchang City was mainly concentrated in the northwest, and the conversion of cultivated land to water area was the main reason for the improvement of the ecological environment in the study area. The conversion of water area to cultivated land, and cultivated land to construction land were the main reasons for the degradation of the regional ecological environment. [Conclusion] The eco-environmental quality index of Nanchang City in 2000, 2010 and 2020 was 0.354, 0.351, and 0.352. This index was relatively stable, but the eco-environmental quality index in the region showed a downward trend. It will be necessary to strictly control the boundary of urban development and to implement an ecological red-line protection policy in the future.

The aging of the population in China has entered an accelerated stage. One of the goals for the micro transformation of old residential areas is to create a community space suitable for aging, promote outdoor activities and neighborhood social activities of the elderly, and thus improve the physical and mental health of the elderly. Starting from physiological, psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly, four characteristics of micro renovation of community public space for aging are analyzed. Qingshanhu Community is taken as research object. Based on the field survey of the elderly in the community, the problem of the insufficient current community space suitable for aging is summarized, and how to adapt to aging and micro transformation to promote healthy life of residents is analyzed, which could provide the reference for building an aging community. Evaluation of the carrying capacity and spatial pattern matching of urban–rural construction land is critical for solving problems associated with irrational land use and the destruction of ecosystems. Here, we present a case study exploring the spatial matching relationship between the carrying capacity and current development status of urban–rural construction land in Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province, China. Land suitability evaluation for urban and rural construction was performed using the analytic hierarchical process and restrictive coefficient method. The spatial matching degree between current construction land and available construction land was obtained by a spatial overlay analysis. Results show that the area most suitable for construction land development (19.2% of the total) is mainly concentrated in the central urban districts, while the relatively suitable area (17.5% of the total) is present around the most suitable area. The ultimate development intensity (i.e., carrying capacity threshold) of construction land in the study region is 41.4%, and the residual development intensity (i.e., development potential) is 24.2%. The available construction land (including most suitable and relatively suitable areas) is generally abundant. The spatial matching degree of construction land ranges from 69.5% to 99.1% in different counties (districts). Pearson's correlation analysis reveals that the spatial matching degree is positively correlated with the carrying capacity threshold of construction land (r = 0.926; p < 0.01) and the abundance of available construction land (r = 0.732; p < 0.05). Geological disasters caused by surface deformation are common, especially in urban areas, which seriously impede urbanization's sustainable development. Monitoring and analysis with high spatial and temporal resolution are particularly important to assess the risk of geological disasters caused by urban deformation. This study uses Sentinel-1A satellite imagery to obtain the surface deformation time series of Nanchang City based on SBAS-InSAR and PS-InSAR techniques and is combined with wavelet period analysis and gray correlation analysis to determine the correlation between deformation area and climate environment. This study shows that there was a large-scale subsidence trend in the central urban area of Nanchang in those two years, and an uplift trend in the agro-ecological areas in the southeast. A periodic analysis further shows that the areas with larger changes in surface deformation are more affected by changes in precipitation. This study, integrated with external data, examines the possibility of subsidence disasters occurring along subway lines in areas with large deformation magnitudes from multiple angles. In the face of increasing disturbance factors, resilience has become an important criterion for measuring the sustainable development of cities. Quantitatively describing the development process of urban resilience and identifying key areas and important dimensions of urban resilience are of scientific significance for understanding the evolutionary law of urban resilience, guiding regional risk prevention, and building an environment for urban resilience development. For this study, taking Nanchang City as a case study and dividing the natural water network groups, the resilience index system was constructed from scale, density, morphology, and function by drawing on the theory of landscape ecology on the basis of considering the internal relationship between urban development attributes and disturbance factors. With the rapid development of the economy and society in recent years, the ecological environment has deteriorated significantly. The governments at all levels, departments, and relevant scholars have begun to pay attention to urban ecological construction and research on urban disaster prevention and mitigation. The concept of resilience has gained widespread attention in this context. However, at present, urban ecological resilience research is still in its infancy, and there are many qualitative but few quantitative studies in terms of assessment methods. This study explores the complex dynamic evolution mechanism of urban ecosystem resilience based on the three resilience characteristics and selects Nanchang, an important ecological barrier in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and a model area for integrated management of the Great Lakes basin, as an assessment target. This study establishes a quantitative measurement and evaluation framework for urban ecological resilience in three dimensions (resistance, adaptation, and vitality) and conducts a comprehensive evaluation of urban ecosystem resilience. The results show that the trend of land-use change from 1990 to 2020 is mainly characterized by the continuous decrease in arable land and ecological land (forestland, grassland, and water) and the continuous increase in construction land, among which the land-use dynamic attitude of construction land is the largest, reaching 5.33% from 1990 to 2005. During the study period, the overall ecosystem resilience of Nanchang showed a gradual decline and was always at a moderate-to-low level, with a long-term distribution pattern of “low in the middle and high in the surrounding areas” and clear spatial heterogeneity. This study helps clarify the security status of the regional ecosystem and provides a reference for exploring the complex dynamic evolution mechanism of ecological resilience.

In the face of increasing disturbance factors, resilience has become an important criterion for measuring the sustainable development of cities. Quantitatively describing the development process of urban resilience and identifying key areas and important dimensions of urban resilience are of scientific significance for understanding the evolutionary law of urban resilience, guiding regional risk prevention, and building an environment for urban resilience development. For this study, taking Nanchang City as a case study and dividing the natural water network groups, the resilience index system was constructed from scale, density, morphology, and function by drawing on the theory of landscape ecology on the basis of considering the internal relationship between urban development attributes and disturbance factors. On this basis, the study focuses on the evolution process and development differences of resilience in various dimensions from the water network groups and quantitatively describes the coordinated development status and adaptive phase characteristics of urban resilience. A temporary pedestrian crossing has been set up for the first time in Nanchang City to facilitate the passage of residents, which has brought great convenience to surrounding residents and students. This article examines the spatial and temporal patterns of land surface temperature (LST) in Nanchang City, China in the context of the urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon. It also investigates the relationship of LST with six social-ecological variables, namely land use/land cover (LULC), vegetation index, impervious surface index, water index, population density, and fossil-fuel CO 2 emission. Landsat data captured in 2000 and 2013 and geographic information systems techniques were used to facilitate the analysis. The results show that the overall mean LST in the study area increased by 1.64 °C between 2000 and 2013. This temporal variation in LST might have been influenced by the given environmental conditions at the time when the source satellite images were captured. That said, there have been indications that the detected increase in the overall mean LST has been influenced by the rapid urbanization of the area, resulting in the rapid expansion of impervious surfaces and loss of green spaces. In both time points, the urban LULC class (impervious surfaces) had a consistent high LST and all the other social-ecological variables examined had statistically significant relationships with LST. We recommend that these variables be taken into consideration in the landscape and urban planning process for the future development of the city. This study also emphasizes on the importance of urban green spaces because of their ability to mitigate UHI effects and the valuable ecosystem services they generate for and provide to people. Wetland as one of the natural landscapes -with the richest biodiversity and most closely related to our life is widely distributed all around the world, and capable of storing flood, preventing drought, purifying environment, adjusting climate, controlling pollution, maintaining regional ecological balance. Nanchang is famous for "City in the Lake and Lake in the City", and this paper begins with wedand resources in Nanchang City, analyzes problems of local wetlands. Taking the design of the Aixi Lake Wetland Park for example, this paper proposes suggestions for the renovation and improvement by analyzing the problems of its current landscape pattern, and specific problems in the landscape design of wedand park, and summarizes the ecological model fit for the landscape design of urban wetland park in Nanchang City. Based on the relevant studies of land use environmental impacts and the characteristics of urban land use, a conceptual model on the assessment of land use environmental impacts in urban built-up area was established. This model grouped the land use environmental impacts in built-up area into four basic processes, i. e., detailization, abstractization, matching, and evaluation. A case study was conducted in the main built-up area of Nanchang City, with noise, smell, dust, and hazard as the impact factors. In the test area, noise had a widespread impact, its impacting area accounting for 59% of the total, smell and dust impacts centralized in the east and south parts, while hazard impact was centralized in the southeast part, an industrial area. With the Pinus elliottii plantations along an urban-rural gradient in Nanchang City as test objectives, and by using ion-exchange resin (IER) bag, this paper studied the seasonal dynamics of soil available nitrogen in the plantations, and analyzed the effects of urbanization on soil nitrogen supply. The results showed that the soil nitrogen supply in the plantations had an obvious seasonal fluctuation. Soil NH4+-N concentration was significantly higher in autumn and winter than in spring and summer, while soil NO3--N concentration, mineral N concentration, and relative nitrification rate were in adverse (P<0 .05). The seasonal dynamics of soil available nitrogen was basically consistent with the growth rhythm of P. elliottii. The soil nitrogen availability and relative nitrification ratio along the gradient differed greatly, being significantly higher in urban than in rural area (P<0.05). Urbanization accelerate d soil N mineralization and nitrification, enhanced soil nitrogen supply capacity, and increased soil NO3--N content. It was suggested that in the construction of urban forest, the plants with high N demand, especially with high NO3-- N absorption capacity, should be introduced to mitigate the soil available N loss and its induced environmental pollution. Taking Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province for example, this paper took 17 sub-indexes from five fields, namely integration of space, population, society, economy and ecology to analyze the dynamic urban-rural integration of the city in the past decade, compared it with fruits of Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou, and concluded that the future urban-rural integration of Nanchang should be carried out from the perspectives of optimization of industrial structure, population agglomeration, issues concerning "agriculture, rural areas and peasants", and environmental protection. Objective: To identify the species of trematodes isolated from laying ducks in Nanchang City using morphological and molecular approaches., Methods: Trematodes were isolated from the hepatobiliary duct, gallbladder and large intestine of market-sold laying ducks in Nanchang City. Following morphological characterization, total DNA was extracted from all trematode specimens, and internal transcribed spacer region ( ITS ) and cytochrome C oxidase subunit 1 ( Cox1 ) genes were amplified using PCR assay and sequenced. Sequence alignment was performed using the Blast software, and homology and phylogenetic analyses were done in the trematode isolates based on ITS and Cox1 gene sequences., Results: The morphological characteristics of two trematode isolates from the large intestine of laying ducks were similar to those of Echinostoma revolutum and E. miyagawai , and the morphological characteristics of eight trematode samples isolated from the hepatobiliary duct and gallbladder of laying ducks were similar to those of Amphimerus anatis . The ITS and Cox1 gene sequences of the two trematode isolates from the large intestine of laying ducks had 99.3% and 98.9%-99.4% homology with E. miyagawai , and the phylogenetic analysis showed that two trematode isolates had the closest genetic relationship with E. miyagawai based on ITS and Cox1 gene sequences. The ITS gene sequences of eight trematode isolates from the hepatobiliary duct and gallbladder of laying ducks shared 95.1%-95.5% with Opisthorchis sudarikovi and Clonorchis sinensis , while the Cox1 gene sequences of eight trematode isolates from the hepatobiliary duct and gallbladder of laying ducks shared 86.3%-86.4% and 85.5%-85.7% with O. viverrini and O. sudarikovi . ITS gene sequence-based phylogenetic analysis showed that the duck-derived trematode isolates had the closest genetic relationship with C. sinensis , and Cox1 gene sequence-based phylogenetic analysis showed that the duck-derived trematode isolates had the closest genetic relationship with Metorchis orientalis and O. viverrini ., Conclusions: The trematode isolates from the large intestine of laying ducts in Nanchang City may be E. miyagawai , and the trematode isolates from the hepatobiliary duct and gallbladder may be an unidentified trematode species of the family Opisthorchiidae.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of Blastocystis hominis infections among AIDS patients in Nanchang City., Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted among AIDS patients in Nanchang City during the period between May and September, 2016. B. hominis infection was detected in patients'stool samples using a PCR assay, and the CD4 + T cell count was measured in subjects'blood samples. In addition, the risk factors of B. hominis infection in AIDS patients were identified using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses., Results: A survey was conducted in Nanchang City from May to September 2016. A total of 505 AIDS patients were investigated, and the prevalence of B. hominis infection was 4.16%. Univariate analysis revealed that B. hominis infection correlated with the occupation ( χ 2 = 8.595, P = 0.049), education level ( χ 2 = 14.494, P = 0.001), type of daily drinking water ( χ 2 = 10.750, P = 0.020), root of HIV infections ( χ 2 = 8.755, P = 0.026) and receiving anti-HIV therapy ( χ 2 = 23.083, P = 0.001) among AIDS patients, and multivariate logistic regression analysis identified daily direct drinking of tap water as a risk factor of B. hominis infections [odds ratio ( OR ) = 7.988, 95% confidential interval ( CI ): (1.160, 55.004)] and anti-HIV therapy as a protective factor of B. hominis infection [ OR = 0.183, 95% CI : (0.049, 0.685)]., Conclusions: The prevalence of B. hominis is 4.16% among AIDS patients in Nanchang City. Daily direct drinking of tap water is a risk factor, and anti-HIV therapy is a protective factor of B. hominis infection among AIDS patients living in Nanchang City.

The rational delimitation of urban development boundary plays an important role in guiding the orderly growth of urban space and ensure proper environment health of urban space. In this study, we evaluated the ecological sensitivity of Nanchang City from four aspects (soil erosion, habitat, geological disaster and water resource) and simulated urban expansion in 2020 based on CA-Markov and land use data in 2000, 2010 and 2015. Spatial decision-making analysis of the two aspects was carried out in combination to the future development of the study area. We proposed a new method of delimitating urban development boundary integrating environmental protection and urban development through the dynamic coordination of both aspects. The results showed that ecological sensitivity of Nanchang City was moderate. The scale of urban construction land based on CA Markov simulation was 1239.67 km 2 , which slightly exceeded the planned construction land target (1201.65 km 2 ). When the dynamic adjustment was done by superimposing the ecological sensitivity evaluation results with the expansion simulation results, the adjusted construction land scale of Nanchang City was 1193.15 km 2 , which met the planned requirement. Consideration of the coordination of protection and development could not only protect the ecological space, but also help to guide the orderly growth of urban space and ensure the healthy development of urban space, and thus was an important way to achieve a win-win situation between rational urban development and ecological protection.

In order to understand the sources and health risks of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the PM 2.5 fraction of road dust and soil dust in Nanchang city, PM 2.5 samples were collected by a resuspension sampler and the concentrations of sixteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were detected. The results showed that the ΣPAHs of the road dust ranged from 48.85 to 166.16 μg·kg -1 , with a mean of (114.22±39.95) μg·kg -1 . The ΣPAHs of the soil dust ranged from 31.05 to 62.92 μg·kg -1 with a mean of (40.79±9.39) μg·kg -1 . The PAHs in the PM 2.5 fraction of fugitive dust were mainly composed of 4-5 rings. The results of the principal component analysis and multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the PAHs in PM 2.5 samples of road dust mainly originated from motor vehicle emissions, coal sources, and oil leakage, with contribution rates of 51.7% and 48.3%, respectively. For children and adult males, the carcinogenic risk values of PAHs in different exposure pathways followed the order dermal contact > ingestion > inhalation, while those for adult females followed the order ingestion > dermal contact > inhalation. For all exposure pathways, the carcinogenic risks of the PAHs to adults were higher than those to children. For all populations, the total carcinogenic risk values of the PAHs were lower than the US EPA recommended carcinogenic risk threshold of 10 -6 , indicating no carcinogenic risk.

Objective: To understand the present situation of the chronic schistosomiasis patients' knowledge, attitude and practice on schistosomiasis control in Nanchang City., Methods: The knowledge, attitude and values on schistosomiasis control of 523 chronic schistosomiasis patients in Nanchang County, Jinxian County and Xinjian District in the Poyang Lake District were investigated with questionnaires. And the accuracy rates of the knowledge, attitude and practice among the patient groups of different counties, genders, age groups, occupations and educational levels were analyzed., Results: The accuracy rates of the knowledge, attitude and practice of patients on schistosomiasis control were 95.76%, 82.80%, and 81.73% in Nanchang County; 91.37%, 93.32%, and 76.48% in Jinxian County; 88.25%, 67.56%, and 49.40% in Xinjian District. In the accuracy rates of knowledge, attitude and practice, the differences among the three counties (districts) were statistically significant ( χ 2 = 57.511-301.378, all P < 0.05) ., Conclusions: The accuracy rates of chronic schistosomiasis patients' attitude and practice on schistosomiasis control in Nanchang City remain low. Therefore, the intensity of attitude and practice intervention should be strengthened in the Poyang Lake District in order to enhance the self-protection awareness of the patients.

Objective: To investigate the endemic situation of human Toxoplasma gondii infection in Nanchang City in 2014 and analyze the influencing factors, so as to provide the evidence for control measures., Methods: The high-risk population of T. gondii infection in Nanchang City was collected as an experiment group, and a control group was settled with the ratio of 1∶1. The serum tests and epidemiology surveys were conducted simultaneously, and the influencing factors were analyzed., Results: The total positive rate of human T. gondii was 5.17% (124/2 400) among the whole population in Nanchang City in 2014. The positive rate was 7.50% (90/1 200) in the experiment group and 2.18% (34/1 200) in the control group, and the difference was significant ( χ 2 =26.668, P ＜0.05). The results of univariate analysis indicated that different dietary habits and health habits were closely related to the infection of T. gondii ( χ 2 =16.522, 64.954, both P ＜0.05). The result of Logistic analysis showed that the risk factors of T. gondii infection were occupation, educational levels, raising cats, contacting animals or raw meat, and eating raw or uncooked beef., Conclusions: The high risk population of T. gondii infection is the key population of the toxoplasmosis control. Unhealthy dietary and living habits are key influencing factors of toxoplasmosis, and the related health education and surveillance work should be strengthened.
