Spherules isolated from deep sea sediments were analyzed for chemical compositions. Three types of internal texture are observed in Ni-bearing I-type spherules: Ni free Fe oxide mantle with Fe-Ni metallic core, Fe-Ni oxide mantle with Fe-Ni metallic core and Fe-Ni oxide spherules without metallic core. Numerical simulation was performed in order to estimate variation of temperatures and radii of I-type spherules, and the force of inertia exerted on them entering the atmosphere. From the result of the simulation, it is figured out that spherules lose more than 90 percent of their original mass by ablation over 1,900 C and that the force of inertia is maximum at last stage of evaporation. Based on the observations of I-type spherules and the numerical simulation of their formation, we propose a model of the formation process of I-type spherules: during ablation, metallic core is off-centered, then surface of the core is exposed to the air due to the strong force of inertia and oxidation reaction might proceed from the exposed core surface.

第2次取りまとめで実施されたレファレンスケースの安全評価解析は、おもにMESHNOTEとMATRICSによって実施された。一方、近年オブジェクト指向的な特徴を有する汎用的なシミュレーションソフトウェアが広く利用されてきており「GoldSim」はその代表的なものである。JAEAでは第2次取りまとめ以降、第2次取りまとめの安全評価解析のフォローアップとして、GoldSimを用いて確率論的解析やパラメータの感度解析等を統計的手法により実施してきている。本報告書ではGoldSimによるモデルの構築手法の詳細についてまとめ、第2次とりまとめでの解析結果との比較を実施し、解析結果の再現性を確認した。また、GoldSimを用いて、第2次取りまとめにおけるレファレンスケースの核種移行解析作業が容易に行えるような、解析手順のガイドブックを整備した。本検討で作成されたアプリケーションのリソース(解析モデルのパーツ)は、今後、確率論的解析や、他の概念モデルとの組合せ等の高度化に資することが可能である。, Reference case of safety assessment analysis at the H12 report was calculated using the numerical code MESHNOTE and MATRICS mainly. On the other hand, recently general simulation software witch has a character of object-oriented is globally used and the numerical code GoldSim is typical software. After the H12 report, probability theory analysis and sensitivity analysis using GoldSim have carried out by statistical method for the purpose of following up safety assessment analysis at the H12 report. On this report, details of the method for the model design using GoldSim are summarized, and to confirm calculation reproducibility, verification between the H12 report and GoldSim results were carried out. And the guide book of calculation method using GoldSim is maintained for other investigators at JAEA who want to calculate reference case on the H12 report. 高レベル放射性廃棄物の地層処分において、隆起・侵食は、適切なサイト選定や処分場の設計によって処分システムに及ぼす著しい影響を回避することが可能と考えられているものの、この現象が緩慢ながらも極めて長期間に渡って継続することから、現象の過去の履歴と処分システムへ与える潜在的な影響の理解に基づいて、隆起・侵食のシナリオを考慮した性能評価手法の信頼性を向上させることが重要である。本研究では、具体的な地質環境を対象とした影響評価に反映できるよう、仮想的な堆積岩分布域における地下水シナリオを対象として、概念モデルに基づく処分環境条件の時間変遷パターン、及びその影響解析について例示した。本検討を通じて、概念モデルが、隆起・侵食にかかわる場の特徴を取り込んだ処分環境条件の時間変遷の組合せを効果的に抽出可能であることに加え、核種移行モデル・パラメータの設定及びそれに基づく影響解析に対して有効な出発点となりうることについて見通しを得た。また、概念モデルに基づいた影響解析を通じて得られる知見は、処分事業の初期段階のように情報が限られた段階における地質環境調査や隆起・侵食に関する将来予測に対して、有効なフィードバック情報となりうるものである。, It is considered that it is possible to avoid the effect of the uplift and denudation process on geological disposal system by siting and a repository design. However, since the uplift/denudation continues far into the future, it is important to enhance the confidence of the methodology to evaluate such an effect, based on the understanding of geohistorical information and potential impact on the disposal system. This paper presents an evolution pattern of the geological environment and the influence analysis in terms of system performance affected by the uplift and denudation process based on the relevant conceptual models for groundwater scenarios of the disposal system for a hypothetical sedimentary rock. As a result, it is indicated that the conceptual model is capable to identify a specific combination of patterns of system evolution of the geological environment in terms of features on the uplift and denudation process, and also provides technical basis for setting up parameters of nuclide migration model and the subsequent influence analysis. 地層処分の安全評価では、天然の地質環境が有する場の不均質性,時間の経過に伴う地質環境条件の変化、あるいは理解や情報の不十分さから生ずるデータ不確実性が内在し、それらを完全に排除することは困難である。このようなデータ不確実性を網羅的に考慮したモンテカルロシミュレーションの結果を対象に、どのパラメータの不確実性の影響が大きいかなどの知見を得ること(感度分析)は、地層処分の安全評価上重要である。ここで、多変量解析手法の一つである決定木分析(ベリー・リノフほか、1999)の感度分析への適用性については、上述した核種移行に関するモンテカルロシミュレーションの結果(総線量の最大値)を対象にした予察的な分析により見通しを得ている(仲島・牧野、2005)。本検討では、感度分析を実施するにあたってのさまざまな切り口について検討し、総線量の最大値を含むさまざまな結果(総線量の最大値の発生時刻,支配核種など)を対象とした決定木分析を行うことにより、決定木分析の精度や適用範囲の確認を行った結果を示す。その結果、ほとんどのケースにおいて「良好な分析が行えた分析ケース」又は「比較的良い分析となった分析ケース」という結果が得られ、決定木分析が感度分析を行う際のさまざまな目的に適用可能であることを示すことができた。, In the safety assessment of geological disposal system, data uncertainty is inherent by the heterogeneity of the field in the natural geological environment and the change of the geological environment condition with the progress in the time and insufficient of understanding and information, and it is difficult to perfectly remove them. It is important to safety assessment that understanding influence of the uncertainty of parameter on the result of the Monte Carlo simulation considering data uncertainty. In our study, examining the range of application and the accuracy of the decision tree analysis technique by various approaches in the sensitivity analysis, and examining the object various results including the maximum value of all doses (others, the time of the maximum value of all doses, the identification of dominant nuclides).
