The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of local revenue, e-government, and capital expenditure on the financial performance of local government and how e-government mediates the effect of local revenue on financial performance. The population of this study includes 29 regencies and 6 cities in the Central Java Province, Indonesia. The purposive sampling technique was utilized to compile 76 samples. Descriptive statistical analysis and partial least squares testing with structural equation modeling were used for data analysis. The results indicate that local revenue has no significant impact on financial performance, while e-government has a positive effect, and capital expenditure has a negative effect. Moreover, local revenue has a positive impact on e-government, and e-government mediates the effect of local revenue on local government financial performance. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of establishing effective budgets to improve regional revenue and invest in e-government for local governments.

Indonesia has a large Muslim population reaching 209.1 million people or around 13.1 percent of the world's Muslim population, with the millennial generation as the largest generation, reaching 34 percent of Indonesia's population, in terms of buying behavior, the millennial generation is the subject of this study, they have a wishy-washy buying behavior, more likely to see the brand than see the halal label, so that sales of products not labeled halal are higher than products labeled halal. This study aims to determine the effect of attitude, perceived controlled behavior, subjective norms, and trust on the purchase intention behavior of halal products. The method used in this research is quantitative, with a population of millennial people in Banten Province who have consumed halal products, with a sample of 170 respondents, and the data collection technique using a questionnaire. The data was processed using Smart PLS 3.2.9 software and analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method with a partial least square (PLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that attitude and perceived controlled behavior have a significant positive effect on the purchase intention behavior of halal products, while subjective norms and trust have no effect on the purchase intention behavior of halal products. The implication of this research is that the marketing strategy for halal products must focus on increasing positive attitudes and perceived controlled behavior of consumers. Efforts to build strong brands and facilitate access to halal products are more important than relying on subjective norms and trust. Marketing policies and campaigns should emphasize personal benefits and ease of obtaining halal products to increase purchase intention among consumers.

Many Indonesian people are currently trapped by the Hedonic Treadmill. The hedonic treadmill is a condition in which a person pursues happiness until he reaches endless satisfaction. Happiness depends on material things, they chase millions of treasures and pile up as if they never feel enough which causes a person to be trapped in pseudo-happiness. Islam guides every human being on how to acquire wealth and use it. Therefore it is very important to have a discussion about this from Hamka's point of view so that humans can be guided toward real life and happiness. The purpose of this research is to analyze and study the Hedonic Treadmill from Buya Hamka's perspective. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques in the book Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka, using QDA Minerlite software. The results of this study indicate that, according to Hamka, the hedonic treadmill is a human nature that is very attached to wealth, exaggerates and tends to justify any means to get it, always boasts about it to other humans, does not care about the negative aspects that wealth can cause, so that it can cover up logical reasoning. and distract them from the true purpose of their creation. Hamka has provided a solution for each individual to avoid and stay away from the hedonic treadmill, namely by taqarrub ila-Allah, doing good deeds, living Qanaah, and always being grateful for everything that has been given to him by Allah, and applying the attitude of Zuhud. exaggerates and tends to justify any means to get it, always boasts about it to other humans, and does not care about the negative aspects that wealth can cause, so that it can cover up logical reasoning. and distract them from the true purpose of their creation. Digitalization changes the world of education starting from teaching methods that follow trends, subject matter that follows world developments and ultimately being able to produce output that is in accordance with the situation and conditions of the employment field. The level of success can be seen from the student achievement. Learning achievement is influenced by two factors, both internal and external factors. This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of using e-books on learning achievement (2) the effect of digital literacy on learning achievement (3) the effect of book collection availability on learning achievement. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method. The population in this study were 141 students of Economic Education class 2016-2018. This sampling technique uses probability sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and the result showed that the use of e-books, digital literacy, and availability of book collections in the library partially has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement.

This study has a general purpose to extend a theoretical approach as an attempt to overcome the research inconsistency regarding the influence of capital in banking companies towards the creation of liquidity. In addition, the fact has shown that there was a problem of excess liquidity in Indonesian banks since 1997. To achieve the purpose, the effort is to offer a new concept or proposition derived from the main theory synthesis approach, namely the theory of efficiency and the theory of effectiveness. This study is a causality type observing the sample of conventional commercial banks, which are ranked among the ten banks and have the largest assets in Indonesia as of December 31, 2022. This study succeeded in finding effective managerial ability as a synthesis concept combining both theories. Furthermore, the finding from the research model suggests that effective managerial ability in granting credit is a mediator factor in the relationship between bank capital and the creation of liquidity. This study starts from the existence of various contradictions in the results of empirical research on the causality effect of bank capital on the creation of liquidity. The result shows the significant role of effective managerial ability in explaining the inconclusive findings of previous studies. It confirms that when the effective managerial ability in providing credit is higher, a manager could arrange the capital to create higher liquidity and generate greater revenue. The other results report that the creation of liquidity is influenced positively by the risk of credit and influenced negatively by the volatility of earning and reserve requirements.

The application of green practices in food and beverage service aims to create a clean environment. Green practice can be defined as a practice that consists of using energy and water efficiently, recycling, sustainable food, reducing waste and pollution. Not all F&B sector companies in Indonesia that are listed on the stock exchange implement Sustainable Environmental Green Practices. This article will look at factorsprofitability, non-debt tax shields, company’s size, and asset tangibility on capital structure pada Perusahaan F&B yang menerapkan Sustainable Environmental Green Practise This study uses annual data from food and beverage companies which implementing Sustainable Environmental Green Practise in Indonesia obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The companies are cautiously selected with purposive sampling method. This research reveals that profitability and non-debt tax shields exhibit a notable negative influence on capital structure, whereas company size shows a positive effect. Intriguingly, the findings indicate that asset tangibility does not exert a significant impact on the capital structure. To conduct our analysis, we used the panel data regression method in EViews. Our research provides valuable insights for managers of food and beverage companies in Indonesia, assisting them in making informed decisions on their capital structure.

Amidst global climate change and natural resource degradation challenges, adopting energy-efficient home appliances is becoming increasingly crucial, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Java Island is the country’s economic and industrial center with the highest domestic energy consumption. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge about eco-labels and environmental consciousness, mediated by self-efficacy, on the willingness of consumers in Java to adopt energy-efficient household appliances. This study utilizes the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) theoretical framework. Data were collected from 210 respondents through a survey disseminated through social media, and analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method within the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework. Results show that eco-label knowledge and environmental consciousness significantly contribute to willingness to purchase energy-efficient appliances, with self-efficacy as an essential mediator. The findings present new insights into sustainable consumer behavior and provide practical recommendations for policymakers and practitioners in formulating effective promotional strategies to increase the adoption of energy-efficient home appliances in Indonesia. As such, this study extends the green consumer behavior literature by exploring the mediating role of self-efficacy in a developing country context.

This study conducts the theme of The Causes of Financial Distress conditions by samples from Indonesian banking sector registered in the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia within the period of 2015-2019. The title of this study: "Indicators of Financial Distress condition in Banking sector in Indonesia” during the period of 2015-2019" with a multiple correlation approach. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leverage of Credit Risk, CAR, ROA, and LDR to the Financial Distress conditions. The sample of population in this study are all conventional commercial banks in Indonesia registered in the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia. The number of samples in this study were included 37 commercial banks that their profitabilities were being declined, with a total number 146 observations. The method carried out in determining the sample is “Purposive” sampling. Based on the results of study and data analysis using the panel data method, it shows that capital, credit risk, profitability and liquidity have a positive effect on Financial Distress. The implication of the above conclusion is that it required further research to perform preventive actions to anticipate the measures of financial performance of the Bank, and it is expected to select a larger population of samples and variables that might have not been included in research on banking Financial Distress in Indonesia.

This study aims to determine (1)—the influence of religiosity on the interest in buying traditional food of sate bandeng. (2). The effect of halal certification on the interest in buying traditional food of sate bandeng. And (3). The impact of religiosity and halal certification on interest in buying traditional food of sate bandeng. This research is the millennial consumers of traditional food of Sate Bandeng Kang Cepi Kaujon, Serang City, Banten Province. The research method used is quantitative. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Data were processed using SPSS version 23 software. Data analysis used the multiple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that (1). Religiosity affects an interest in buying traditional food of Sate Bandeng. (2). Halal certification affects an interest in buying traditional food of sate bandeng (3). Religiosity and halal certification have a positive and significant impact on interest in buying traditional food of Sate Bandeng. Consumers’ interest in buying traditional food of Sate Bandeng is influenced by religiosity and halal certification as much as 48.8 percent. In comparison, the remaining 51.2 percent is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in internet penetration over the past decade. The implications of increasing internet penetration have an impact on business patterns in various industrial lines. Financial technology (fintech) is proof of the implementation of a financial system by delivering more efficient financial services. Fintech has an important role in financial intermediation and helps the daily lives of almost all people in the world. Fintech has changed the way consumers conduct financial transactions. This study aims to find out what factors underlie behavioral intentions to use sharia fintech in the millennial generation in Tangerang Raya. This study uses the technology acceptance model (TAM) and accommodates a new variable, namely religiosity. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that a total sample of 237 respondents was obtained online using the Google form. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS 22 software. The results of this study indicate that the intention to use the millennial generation of sharia fintech in Tangerang Raya is influenced by the perceived usefulness factor with a P-value of 0.00 0.05.

This study investigates the impact of macroeconomic instabilities on returns volatility spillover that is transmitted from the global to the Islamic equity market. The economic factors examined are the exchange rate, inflation rate, interest rate, and production growth. To achieve the purpose of the study, we utilize three analysis tools: a GARCH(p,q) model to derive values of volatility for all variables; an asymmetry dynamic conditional correlation (ADCC) model to produce a measure of volatility spillover as the dependent variable; and a panel data regression technique to assess the causality significance of macroeconomic factors to volatility spillover. This study is the first which expands such approaches. We observe monthly data of world and Islamic market indices, exchange rates, consumer price indices, interest rates, and industrial production indices. The data, which range from May 2002 to February 2019, are taken from the world market, and twenty-three economies, which consist of fourteen developed and nine emerging markets that have Islamic stock indices. In several sections, we provide important additional analysis for five stock markets in Central European economies, which are compared to the others. The finding suggests that the presence of volatility spillover on the Islamic markets that originates from the global market is affected by the internal instabilities of macroeconomic factors, except for industrial production instability for developed markets, including Central European markets. An implication of the study is that regulators should anticipate and prevent adverse consequences of volatility spillover by arranging their internal economic policy to control inflation rates, interest rates, and industrial production growth, as well as exchange rate flexibility. Moreover, market practitioners should include both global market volatility and macroeconomic instabilities in their prediction to create minimum risk.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi dampak gerakan literasi sekolah, pemanfaatan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas X SMAN 1 Baturraden sebanyak 352 siswa yang mengambil Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 187 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda yang mencakup penggunaan koefisien determinasi dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerakan literasi sekolah, pemanfaatan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dan motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pertama, semakin baik program gerakan literasi sekolah dijalankan, maka semakin baik pula hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh siswa. Kedua, semakin baik pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah oleh siswa, maka semakin baik pula hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh siswa. Ketiga, semakin baik motivasi siswa dalam belajar, maka semakin baik pula hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh siswa.

With the aim of studying the optical, electrochemical, and electronic properties of a new porphyrin-based material, we have synthesized a new porphyrinic complex, namely the (4,4$^{\prime}$-bipyridine)(meso-tetratrifluoromethylphenylporphyrinato)zinc(II) 4,4$^{\prime}$-bipyridine disolvate dihydrate complex with the formula [Zn(TFMPP)(4,4$^{\prime}$-bipy)]${\cdot }$2(4,4$^{\prime}$-bipy)${\cdot }$2H2O (I). This species is characterized by single-crystal X-ray molecular structure. The optical study is performed by UV–visible absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The fluorescence intensity presents an emission in the UV–visible range, indicating that this compound can be used as an optoelectronic material. The optical energy gap is 1.95 eV, and the current–voltage characteristics and impedance spectroscopy measurements have been studied to define the electronic properties of the zinc (II) porphyrin complex. The barrier height ${\phi }_{\mathrm{b}}$ is calculated, and the space-charge limited current mechanism is found to control the conductance. The results from the electronic study confirm that our porphyrin derivative can be used for various optoelectronic applications.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang modifikasi dan pengujian sistem penyemprot padi dengan penambahan pompa elektrik 12 v. Tekanan penyemprotan standar ditargetkan sebesar 1,0 – 1,6 bar (kg/cm2). Pengaturan tekanan dan volume penyemprotan akan dilakukan oleh potensiometer. Penyemprot hasil modifikasi mampu tetap bekerja ketika daya baterai habis, karena konstruksi dasar pompa manual tetap dipertahankan. Setelah percobaan didapatkan data bahwa tekanan maksimal pompa manual pada waktu penyemprotan adalah 1,2 bar, sementara untuk pompa dc tekanannya mencapai 1,9 bar (potensiometer 1 putaran penuh 3,68 kΩ). Sementara untuk volume penyemprotan bonggol padi pada kondisi nozzle standar didapatkan untuk pompa manual adalah 1376 L/ha dan 2304 L/ha untuk pompa dc (potensiometer 1 putaran). Untuk hasil pengukuran volume penyemprotan dengan nozzle 1 lubang (3 lubang ditutup dari 4 lubang) pompa manual 272 L/ha dan pompa dc 336 L/ha (potensiometer 1 putaran).

The breakthrough of organic food plays a crucial role in mitigating climate change. This is based on several research findings stating that organic food can reduce the use of chemicals, improve soil conditions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support biodiversity. However, the high price constraint of organic food leads most people to prefer non-organic food daily. The focus of this research is to determine the level of consumer willingness to pay more (WTPM) for organic food by examining the role of knowledge of organic food (OFK), price consciousness (PC), and consumer attitudes (CA). The 300 respondents were collected from all islands in Indonesia, including Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung, and Papua. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the research hypothesis. The research results indicate that OFK and PC directly and significantly influence CA. Furthermore, PC and CA also directly and significantly affect WTPM. Interestingly, OFK does not directly drive consumer WTPM. On the other hand, CA plays a significant mediating role between OFK and PC regarding WTPM. The implications of this research finding are that to increase the adoption of organic food as a climate change mitigation measure; efforts are needed to enhance consumers' knowledge and awareness of the benefits of organic food to form a more positive attitude towards the product. This, in turn, can improve their willingness to pay a slightly higher price to support organic food consumption in Indonesia.

Cooling Seasonal Performance Factor (CSPF) is one of methods for measuring the performance of a room air conditioner to assess its energy efficiency and, therefore, its effect on climate change and environmental impact. A set of bin temperatures from a certain region was used in this method to compare the performance of an air conditioner. Due to the variety of hourly local ambient temperature distribution, the performance of an air conditioner could be different in various cities in Indonesia. In this paper, a room air conditioner was tested on the basis of ISO 5151 and analyzed by using ISO 16358-1. The CSPF calculation is then modified based on the ambient local temperature distribution for Jakarta and Bandung. The CSPF for Jakarta City is 1.45% lower and the CSPF for Bandung is 1.49% higher than that of ISO 16358-1-based calculation. It means that for more realistic performance of an air conditioner, the modification of measurement standard could be applied based of local temperature distribution.

Refrigeration system evacuation is one of the most important steps in achieving refrigeration or air conditioning system quality. This procedure is used to remove water vapor and non-condensable gas from the pipeline and the heat exchangers that can be dangerous for a vapor compression refrigeration system. In this paper, the performance of an air conditioner (AC) was experimentally tested under varied duration of system evacuation from 0 to 60 minutes with an increment of 15 minutes. Cooling capacity, power consumption, and coefficient of performance were tested in accordance with ISO 5151 and ISO 16358-1. Generally, the ISO 16358-1 gives the lower power consumption and higher cooling capacity and coefficient of performance. ISO 16358-1 test results in 12.8% lower power consumption than that of ISO 5151. On the contrary, ISO 16358-1 test gives higher cooling capacity and coefficient of performance by 11.5% and 6.2%, respectively. It is also observed from this study that the longest evacuation period results in the most efficient operation, thus providing less effect on climate change and less environmental impact. However, it should be observed in a longer period of operation.

Abstract: Economic justice in the State of Indonesia is still far from what is aspired, plus large foreign credits, causing various problems, especially poverty. Islamic economists provide a solution with waqf to answer these problems. This study aims to determine the pattern of waqf management, the waqf empowerment system for the village community's economy, as well as the waqf institutional model which is used as an instrument of economic empowerment for rural communities in Pontang sub-district, Serang district. This study uses a normative juridical scientific approach, among these approaches are the approaches taken, including: the statute approach, the concept approach, and the sociological approach. The data collected consists of primary and secondary data. The Miles and Hubermen model method was used as a data analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of waqf management in the villages of the Pontang sub-district is managed by the nazdir of the organization, namely the Mosque and Foundation Prosperity Council. Waqf-based community economic empowerment system for youth groups and farmers. The waqf institutional model is simple and carried out independently, there is no coordination between waqf managers and Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI) as the parent organization of waqf management. The results of this study contribute to knowledge about the concept of waqf management in rural areas, patterns of empowerment with effective waqf and in rural areas, as well as input for BWI in improving waqf governance. Abstrak: Keadilan ekonomi di Negara Indonesia masih jauh dari yang dicita-citakan, ditambah pinjaman luar negeri yang besar, menyebabkan permasalahan kemiskinan. Para ekonom Islam memberikan solusi dengan wakaf untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola manajemen wakaf, sistem pemberdayaan wakaf terhadap ekonomi masyarakat desa, serta model kelembagaan wakaf yang dijadikan instrumen pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat desa Kecamatan Pontang Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yuridis normatif, yaitu di antara­nya adalah pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach), pendekatan konsep, dan pendekatan sosiologis atau empiris. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Metode model Miles dan Huber-men digunakan sebagai metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola manajemen wakaf di desa-desa Kecamatan Pontang dikelola oleh nazdir organisasi yaitu Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid dan Yayasan. Sistem pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat berbasis wakaf menyentuh kelom­pok pemuda dan petani. Model kelembagaan wakaf bersifat sederhana dan dilaku­kan secara mandiri, belum ada koordinasi antara pengelola wakaf dengan Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI) sebagai organisasi induk pengelolaan wakaf. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pengetahuan tentang konsep manajemen wakaf di pedesaan, pola pemberdayaan dengan wakaf yang efektif dan efisien di pedesaan, sekaligus masukan bagi BWI dalam peningkatan tata kelola wakaf.

This study aims to determine (1). The effect of halal awareness on consumer buying interest in coastal tourism seafood culinary SMEs. (2). The influence of foodstuffs on consumer buying interest in coastal tourism seafood culinary SMEs. And (3). The influence of halal awareness and foodstuffs on consumer buying interest in coastal tourism seafood culinary SMEs. The object of this research is the culinary consumers of Seafood Kedaikita in Gope beach. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that (1). Halal awareness affects the buying interest of consumers of beach tourism culinary SMEs. Shown by the value of t is greater than t table (6,851 1. 668) and the significance value is smaller than the alpha value (0.000 0.05) (2). Foodstuffs affect consumer buying interest in coastal tourism culinary SMEs. Shown by the value of t count greater than t table (5.784 1.668) and the significance value is smaller than the alpha value (0.000 0.05). (3). Halal awareness and food ingredients have a positive and significant effect on the purchase interest of consumers of coastal tourism culinary SMEs. Shown by the value of F count greater than F table (32,930 3.12) and the significance value is smaller than the alpha value (0.000 0.05) 0.05). (3). The research aims to empirically examine the effect of Employee Conflict through the workplace of Islamic spirituality and Analyze Employee performance at Islamic Banks. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The total sample of 36 employees at the Islamic Bank in Indonesia. Data analysis techniques using linear regression and path path. The results showed that the Spiritual Workplace influenced the conflict of Islamic Bank employees. Conflict affects the performance of Islamic Bank employees. Spiritual Islamic Workplace affects the performance of Islamic Bank employees. Indirectly employee conflict through Islamic Workplace employees has a significant effect on the performance of Islamic Bank employees. The results of the study are expected to be an input for managers to reduce conflicts in the company with Islamic spirituality workplaces.

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dan angin merupakan pembangkit listrik berbasis energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konfigurasi pembangkit terbaik menggunakan Software HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Energy Renewable) di Pantai Sedari, Kecamatan Cibuaya, Karawang. Pantai Sedari, Cibuaya terletak pada koordinat 5o57.6’S dan 107o18.4 E. Data potensi energi surya dan angin didapatkan dari retSCREEN NASA. Hasil penelitian diperoleh potensi energi matahari rata-rata sebesar 5,17 kWh/m2/hari dan potensi tenaga angin sebesar 3,50 m/s. Desain pembangkit listrik hybrid menggunakan HOMER terdiri dari PV 0,075 kW, G1 1 kW dan Gen 2,7 kW dengan converter 25 kW, diperoleh Biaya Net Total Masa Kini (Total Net Present Cost/NPC) sebesar $ 82.080,25. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi penting tentang potensi energi terbarukan (surya dan angin) khususnya di daerah Pantai Sedari Kabupaten Karawang.

Privacy and information security have consistently been a priority for the European Union lawmaker. This paper investigates the security requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Directive on security of network and information systems (NISD). This investigation incorporates what is unique about the NISD; how it overlaps with existing frameworks; and how security requirements in the GDPR influence the NISD. This mapping of requirements can help businesses and organizations to distinguish possible difficulties that may experience while conforming to GDPR and NISD, and help them create a consistent cybersecurity framework and structure new security plans.

Telah dilakukan karakterisasi pasir besi alam Pantai Samudera Baru Karawang dan aplikasinya sebagai filler pada penyaring elektromagnetik. Sampel pasir pantai diekstraksi menggunakan magnet permanen untuk memisahkan material magnetik dan non magnetik. Karakterisasi pasir besi menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX). Hasil karakterisasi menggunakan SEM-EDX menunjukkan bahwa sampel pasir besi mengandung unsur Fe dan O, yang berasal dari fase Magnetit (Fe3O4), Maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) dan hematit (α-Fe2O3). Sistem penyaring elektromagnetik dibuat dari pipa PVC berdiameter 1 inchi yang diberi lilitan kawat tembaga berdiameter 0,35 mm, panjang kolom penyaring 50 cm dengan 1050 lilitan dan dimasukkan pasir besi 500 gram sebagai media penyaring. Penyaringan dilakukan dengan mengalirkan sampel air dengan besar arus konstan yaitu 2 A. Hasil pengujian menggunakan Spektroskopi Serapan Atom (SSA) menunjukkan penurunan kadar logam Fe dari 1,228 ppm menjadi 0,0510 ppm dan 0,0813 ppm. Polisulfon merupakan polimer termoplastik yang banyak digunakan dalam pembuatan membran karena ketangguhan dan stabilitasnya pada suhu tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini, dibuat membran polisulfon kosentrasi 20% dengan metode electrospinning. Selanjutnya pada larutan polisulfon konsentrasi 20% dilakukan penambahan NaClO2 0,015 gram, 0,020 gram, dan 0,030 gram. Material-material pada membran tersebut diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan FTIR, sedangkan morfologi permukaan membran diamati dengan SEM. Hasil spektrum FTIR menunjukkan tidak adanya ikatan pada penambahan NaClO2. Ini berarti, tidak terjadi perubahan sifat pada membran sebelum dan setelah ditambahkan NaClO2. Diameter fiber membran polisulfon konsentrasi 20% dengan penambahan NaClO2 0,015 gram mengalami perubahan menjadi lebih kecil dari diameter fiber membran polisulfon konsentrasi 20%. Diameter membran polisulfon 20% memiliki diameter rata-rata nanofiber (801±185) nm, sedangkan diameter membran polisulfon 20% dengan penambahan NaClO2 0,015 gram memiliki diameter rata-rata nanofiber (252±57) nm. Ini berarti penambahan NaClO2 pada larutan polisulfon 20% berpengaruh pada perubahan diameter. Pada membran polisulfon 20% dengan penambahan NaClO2 0,020 gram dan 0,030 gram tidak terbentuk membran (hanya terbentuk spray).

Development of financial globalization in the form of stock market integration experiences a trend which is getting stronger. The analysis models in the field of finance and investments should be able to adjust to these developments. This adjustment includes the models used to detect the existence of herding behavior. All this time, the herding behavior model of individual stocks towards market consensus has been referring to CAPM theory. The basic assumption of CAPM is that financial assets at a domestic stock market are segmented from the financial assets’ movement at the global market. Therefore, this paper aims to provide an alternative view in the form of an international herding model that should be applied in the context of an integrated stock market. The model was created with reference to the international CAPM. This paper combined ICAPM method and international CSAD model to identify herding for eight stock markets, the sample period being from January 2003 to December 2016. The result found that for segmented stock markets, represented by China and the Philippines, herding happened for both overall the sample period and the market crisis period. In addition, for the integrated stock markets, represented by Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the UK, herding behavior was only found during the market crisis period. Therefore, classification of market integrations should be considered in assessing the herding behaviour at stock markets.

Laser-driven ion sources are a rapidly developing technology producing high energy, high peak current beams. Their suitability for applications, such as compact medical accelerators, motivates development of robust acceleration schemes using widely available repetitive ultraintense femtosecond lasers. These applications not only require high beam energy, but also place demanding requirements on the source stability and controllability. This can be seriously affected by the laser temporal contrast, precluding the replication of ion acceleration performance on independent laser systems with otherwise similar parameters. Here, we present the experimental generation of >60 MeV protons and >30 MeV u-1 carbon ions from sub-micrometre thickness Formvar foils irradiated with laser intensities >1021 Wcm2. Ions are accelerated by an extreme localised space charge field ≳30 TVm-1, over a million times higher than used in conventional accelerators. The field is formed by a rapid expulsion of electrons from the target bulk due to relativistically induced transparency, in which relativistic corrections to the refractive index enables laser transmission through normally opaque plasma. We replicate the mechanism on two different laser facilities and show that the optimum target thickness decreases with improved laser contrast due to reduced pre-expansion. Our demonstration that energetic ions can be accelerated by this mechanism at different contrast levels relaxes laser requirements and indicates interaction parameters for realising application-specific beam delivery.
