- Abstract
The advanced technique is a targeted drug delivery in which drugs deliver to the patients in a targeted sequences that increases the absorption of delivered drug to the targeted body part only (organs, tissues, cells) which in turn improves efficacy of treatment by reducing side effects of drug administration. Principally targeted drug delivery is to help the drug molecule to reach first to the desired site. The inherent benefit of this technique leads to administration of necessary drug with its reduced dose and reduced its side effect. This important benefit of targeted drug delivery system is under high consideration of research and development in clinical and pharmaceutical fields as backbone of therapeutics & diagnostics as well. Various drug carriers which can be used in this advanced delivery system are soluble polymers, biodegradable microsphere polymers (synthetic and natural), niosomes, liposomes, micelles and immune micelle etc. The purpose of a targeted drug delivery system is to target, localize, prolong and have a protected drug interaction with the diseased tissue. This review exhibits the significance of vesicular drug delivery (niosomes, liposomes) as one of the future targeted delivery system. Furthermore it depicts the advantages, disadvantages, preparation methods and characterization of niosomes. Keywords: Targeted drug delivery, Niosomes, Method of preparation of niosomes, Characterization of niosomes.

The ability to make site-specific modifications to the human genome has been an objective in medicine since the recognition of the gene as the basic unit of heredity. Thus, gene therapy is understood as the ability of genetic improvement through the correction of altered (mutated) genes or site-specific modifications that target therapeutic treatment. It is the concept of gene therapy involves the transfer of genetic material in to a cell, tissue, or whole organism to cure a disease and improve the Patient compliance. Gene therapy is to transform viruses into genetic material, which will deliver the gene of interest into the target cells. Based on the nature of the viral genome, these gene therapy vectors can be divided into RNA and DNA viral vectors or non viral vectors. The majority of virus-based vectors have been derived from simple retroviruses adenoviruses, Adeno-associated viruses, herpes simplex viruses and non viral based vectors are naked DNA, electroporation, gene gun method etc. Non-viral vectors are far less efficient than viral vectors, but they have advantages due to their low immunogenicity and their large capacity for therapeutic DNA. Disease potentially treated by gene therapy is cancer, neurological disorder, infectious diseases, inherited disease cardiovascular disease. Key words: Ex vivo, In vivo methods of gene therapy, Lentivirus vector system Adeno-associated viruses, Electroporation, gene gun method.

Elixirs, Gymnema sylvestre, Sodium Saccharin, Diabetes, Herbal, Insulin - Abstract
In the present research work, the main objective is to formulate and evaluate Elixir of Gymnema Sylvestre by using Leaf extract. There are lots of chemical agents available to control and to treat diabetic patients, but total recovery from diabetes has not been reported up to this date. Alternative to these synthetic agents, many herbal plants with hypoglycemic properties are known from across the world. Gymnema Sylvestre is an herb native to the tropical forests of southern and central India and Sri Lanka. The medicinal part of the plant is the leaf, which reduces or eliminates the ability to sweetness tastes. Gymnema sylvestre leaves are known for several medicinal uses such as antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, stomachic, diuretic, refrigerant, astringent and tonic, the major bioactive constituents of gymnema sylvestre are a group of triterpenoid glycosides known as gymnemic acids with gymnemagenin as common aglycone. Which is responsible for its tremendous activity specially its blood glucose lowering capacity. In this studies we have shown that the extract of gymnema sylvestre is useful in controlling blood sugar to treat type II diabetes (NIDDM) when gymnema leaf extract is administered to a diabetic patient it stimulate the pancreas to increase release of insulin. The elixirs were prepared by using Sodium Saccharin, Glycerin and Alcohol etc. The elixirs were evaluated for FTIR, Viscosity, PH, Refractive Index, Alcohol Content and Assay. In this preparation of the elixir is going to prepare by the simple solution method. It is a clear, sweetened, hydroalcoholic liquid intended for oral use. Keywords: Elixirs, Gymnema sylvestre, Sodium Saccharin, Diabetes, Herbal, Insulin.

CELECOXIB ,HIGH performance liquid chromatography ,ESTIMATION theory ,DRUG dosage - Abstract
The goal of this study is to develop and validate an RP HPLC technique for estimating Celecoxib in both bulk and pharmaceutical dose forms. A thorough review of the literature found that there are ways available, but none of them are as straightforward, specific, exact, or accurate as the established approach for estimating Celecoxib. The chromatographic separation was obtained utilising an isocratic mode of elution on a Thermo Scientific Separation HPLC with a stationary phase of Lichro CART 250-4 (Lichrospher 100) -- RP 18e -- (5 m) column and a mobile phase of Methanol: Water. A UV detector set to 236.0nm was used for detection. According to ICH criteria, the devised approach was validated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
