Here lies the research problem, namely: insufficiency in making the most of the raw materials used in the manufacture of Egyptian furniture, which leads to an exaggeration in the price of the product compared to its consumption period. Therefore, this research aims at reaching the best of produced furniture in Egypt through durable design methods, and shed light to the impotency of adapting sustainable design methods in the modern Egyptian furniture design. The importance of this research lies in achieving the closed use cycle of modern Egyptian furniture, which makes maximum use of furniture, this research represents some of design concepts that increases furniture life-span like using one furniture piece for more than one function. Or following several methods after the completion of its use such as making some modifications or maintenance in order to reuse, recycle or re-manufacturing. This research has reached some results such as applying sustainable furniture design concepts contributes to the increase of product durability compared to its market purchase value. This research recommended to apply the durable cycle for furniture design as one of the sustainable principles. and Adoption of factories to develop future plans for recycling and manufacturing of the product in order to avoid the environment the problem of waste after use, whether to adopt the same factories for the product after use or cooperation with other known recycling or reuse

Life in a limited-space dwelling is one of the most important problems facing residents due to the failure to meet their changing living needs. Which requires re-thinking in a functional way to provide the largest number of human needs without the need to change housing and move from one housing unit to another larger. Thus, it is possible to overcome the problem of owning large and expensive spaces in order to satisfy the wishes of the user and meet his changing needs. Hence, the responsibility of the interior designer comes towards finding appropriate design solutions to solve this problem in a way that is consistent with the user culture in light of modern technology for furniture design.Through the technological developments in the design of residential buildings using artificial intelligence technology (computer home, digital home, interactive home ... etc.). Consequently, the traditional concept of furniture units has changed from just inanimate objects that humans use to units that are able to sense, identify and interact with users to meet their needs and desires.It was therefore necessary to resort to the idea of intelligent furniture that integrates with everything that surrounds it and interacts with it in response to changing human needs within the void using intelligent systems that have helped to time and effort to perform the required tasks in a given time.It is worth mentioning that the change in the function of the furniture unit was not only a functional change but was followed by a change in shape to suit this advanced technology, the reductive trend became the dominant in furniture design, where the designs with geometric shapes became easy to configure and realize, far from Jostling decorative elements, the clean lines are suitable for the computer technology used in the furniture unit, as well as with the executing materials of wood, glass and metal that have made an unprecedented breakthrough in the age of technology.

The research deals with the correlation of the development of hospital facilities throughout the ages with the culture and religion of the societies in which these buildings for environmental hospitalization were established within them by shedding light on the concept of hospital tourism and studying the beginning of the emergence of the hospital spa concept and its historical development throughout the ages with a focus on hospital buildings (baths) In the Roman and Islamic periods and to study the influence of specific Islamic values on the culture of Islamic society, traditional Hammamet public buildings are considered to be ancient buildings that represented a distinct social and urban trend. It represented a place for hospitalization, relaxation, and physical hygiene for the general public. Those buildings, despite their historical and architectural value in most Islamic cities, were neglected after they lost their job and became vulnerable to extinction, so it became necessary to study these buildings and discover the aspects of uniqueness and privacy in their architectural elements compared to their counterparts in Other civilizations, especially (Roman civilization) with a view to preserving it as a cultural heritage, and to benefit from it in designing hospital resorts. As many psychological studies revealed that most people travel for more than one goal, and Macintosh has classified the motives for travel into four groups, the most important of which are the medical ones. There is no doubt that there is a close relationship between health and tourism, as people travel either for treatment of certain diseases or for the prevention of diseases And, since ancient times, people moved from one place to another in search of environmental and geographical conditions, as well as areas with moderate climates and distant weather from hurricanes and weather fluctuations in order to maintain physical health. The problem of this research lies in neglecting the design considerations and Islamic values of historical hospital facilities when designing modern hospital resorts, as it aims to achieve the human dimension and psychological comfort and achieve privacy for hospital resorts through Islamic values in the interior design and architecture of hospital resorts, and It is assumed that the consideration of functional and design components, elements of communication, movement and Islamic intellectual values in the interior design of the tourist hospital resort has a positive effect in stimulating healing, and the research followed the descriptive analytical approach and pain Comparative approaches.

The problem of the research is that the design of furniture for Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad lacks the Egyptian identity. The research aims at designing the furniture of the Egyptian embassies and consulates halls in a way that bears the Egyptian identity characteristics as one of the methods of tourist attraction for Egypt.The research hypotheses came as follows: Some of the different and varied legacies of the architectural and decorative elements of the Egyptian civilization can be used in the design of furniture for the Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad. The importance of the research: To raise awareness about the value of the design of furniture that bears the characteristics of the Egyptian identity in the Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad. So this research, proposed designs that can be implemented in the furniture of Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad bearing the characteristics of the Egyptian identity. They were presented to the reception counter in the main reception area and an office of the ambassador or consul chamber combining the features of the ancient Egyptian civilization with the constituents of the flag of Egypt and then highlighting their most important aesthetic values. The research followed the descriptive analytical approach and was limited to the design of some furniture for Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad with an Egyptian identity.The results of the research showed that there are some architectural and decorative elements that distinguish the ancient Egyptian civilization and can be used to provide a proposed set of furniture designs for Egyptian embassies and consulates and achieve some aesthetic and functional values. The recommendations emphasized the important role of furniture design in highlighting the features of ancient Egyptian civilization, in addition to the need to generalize the features of the Egyptian identity on all interior design and furniture for all embassies and consulates abroad as one of the entrances to tourist attraction and tourism development in Egypt.

The Governmental Administrative Buildings are considered the most important service buildings that require Interior Design which fulfills the performance of the services and the needs of the people whether employers, citizens, or customers regardless of age, gender or abilities. The field visit to some governmental buildings clarified that they suffer from many problems in their suitability to all categories for whom the service is offered. Some of these problems are related to Anthropometric Standards while others are related to the Ergonomic Standards which may be suitable to the capabilities of a class and not suitable to the other. The problem of the research is that Interior Design of the governmental administrative buildings in Egypt does not suit the abilities of all different groups in motion or in audio, visual or verbal abilities. This negatively affects the flexibility of the job performance. The research aims to identify the principles of the Universal design that can be applied to Interior Design of the Egyptian administrative buildings in Egypt and then introduce suggestions to apply these principles to suit the abilities of all groups, from employees, citizens or customers. The hypotheses of the research are: the application of the principles of the Universal Design to Interior Design of the Egyptian Administrative Buildings to suit the abilities of all different categories of employees and customers guarantee the improvement and flexibility of the job performance of the service provided to them. The importance of the research in supporting awareness of the value of the application of Universal Design in Interior Design of the Egyptian Administrative Buildings in Egypt by providing successful practical examples of how to implement it and encouraging its adoption in Egypt to cope with the Universal progress in design and its impact on the flexibility of job performance. The research thus followed the analytical descriptive method and was limited to the interior design of the work areas of the Egyptian administrative building.The research came to the following main conclusion that the seven principles of the Universal Design of the Governmental Administrative Buildings in Egypt could be successfully applied according to the introduced suggestions in the research for the great benefit for all the groups of employees and customers. So, they are recommended to be applied in all the Governmental Administrative Buildings in Egypt for the benefit of all the citizens.

The design of the Contemporary Great or small mosques is considered to be one of the important topics that always need to keep peace with scientific advances in the field of providing convenience to the user in terms of proper ventilation, good lightening , provide calm, allowing the opportunity to humble inside the mosque beside that meeting the functional needs of the user inside the mosque and also saving some symbol of the features that confirms the role of being a dedicated worship for Muslims. It was reached in the research that Interior Design and Furniture Design of the Holly Mosque as the largest major mosque in the world had the first group of the rolling values that recommended such as symbolic, functional ​​and aesthetic values ​​ which qualify it to be the first reference of world that could be a guide in Interior and Furniture Design of Contemporary Mosques.

Rehabilitation centers in Egypt suffer from a failure to provide functional requirements in terms of ergonomic and anthropometric standards that suit the comfort of the elderly patient with limited mobility or who is unable to move. From here stemmed the research problem: which is the existence of deficiencies in the application of ergonomic and anthropometric functional standards for each of the interior design and furniture in rehabilitation centers, in a way that does not suit most of the needs of elderly patients with mobility impairment or inability to move. The research aims to present the international ergonomic and anthropometric standards for each of the interior design and furniture in the physical rehabilitation centers for the elderly. The importance of the research lies in the fact that it provides standards that must be followed as solutions for the interior design and furniture of the motor rehabilitation centers for those with weakness or inability to move. satisfactory quality and time. Research Methods: The research follows the descriptive analytical approach. The limitations of the research are limited to international ergonomic and anthropometric standards and physical rehabilitation centers for the elderly. Research results: There are important standards that must be taken into account in rehabilitation centers to suit people with wheelchairs and people with crutches, especially in dry and wet treatment areas, residence rooms, bathrooms, corridors of all kinds, and slopes. Research recommendations: The need for the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Housing to apply international standards in interior design and furniture, governmental and private physical rehabilitation centers, as well as the competent authorities related to that.
