Abstract. The purpose of the study is to select suitable flour according to its mineral composition to obtain gluten-free high protein animal feed. The research found that whole grain rice flour, millet, chickpea, corn, chalk and primex additive are suitable for gluten-free feed and have good technological parameters. The animal feed is with high protein and fats. They are with low carbohydrates composition and used for dogs and birds. The new products are without GMO, artificial colors and flavors. They are with Fe, Zn, Ca.

The aim of the present study is to establish the extent to which natural resources are used and how traditional livelihood practices are exercised at a regional level. The object of this study is a region with developed mass tourism - Bansko Municipality. The subject addresses traditional livelihood practices and the opportunities for expanding alternative forms of tourism. The revival of traditional livelihood models, which directly corresponds to current trends in bioeconomy, can make alternative forms of tourism an important part of the local development strategies in the forthcoming programming period after 2020, including regions established as mass tourism ones. The study has been conducted by applying the survey method in the municipality of Bansko in the period of February-March 2020 coinciding with the onset of the epidemic situation related to COVID-19 in Bulgaria. Taking into account the results from the survey, it is possible to draw conclusions about the extent to which certain conditions for the development of alternative forms of tourism have been created when facing new challenges.

We report a new measurement of the beam-spin asymmetry, Σ, for the γ→n→K+Σ− reaction using quasi-free neutrons in a liquid-deuterium target. The new dataset includes data at previously unmeasured photon energy and angular ranges, thereby providing new constraints on partial wave analyses used to extract properties of the excited nucleon states. The experimental data were obtained using the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS), housed in Hall B of the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab). The CLAS detector measured reaction products from a liquid-deuterium target produced by an energy-tagged, linearly polarised photon beam with energies in the range 1.1 to 2.3 GeV. Predictions from an isobar model indicate strong sensitivity to N(1720)3/2+, Δ(1900)1/2−, and N(1895)1/2−, which corroborates results from a recent combined analysis of all KΣ channels. When our data are incorporated in the fits of partial-wave analyses, one observes significant changes in γ-n couplings of resonances which have small branching ratios to the πN channel.

The behaviour of two groups of two bulls, lactating cows and calves from the Hereford and Limousin breeds was studied in the artificial pasture/meadow complex "Boyadzhievo" owned by the Research Institute of Mountain Stockbreeding and Agriculture on the outskirts of the town of Troyan. The complex is situated at 610 m above sea level, on a flat terrain with traditional grass. The meteorological characteristics of the late spring were studied, behavioural reactions were studied: grazing, rest, movement and acts of aggression. Natural grassland, which is also the main source of food for the animals surveyed in the pasture complex, was rich in plant species, of which the largest share belonged to the group of forbs (55%), followed by the group of cereals (38%) and leguminous (7%) grasses. Atmospheric conditions and the botanical composition of the pasture had an influence on the ethological reactions of the studied animals. It was found that Index for functional activity (IFA) grazing of Hereford bulls was 0.45455 on pastures, cows – 0.46934 at the time of the experiment and those of the Limousin breed - 0.45448, cows 0.47846. The index of functional activity rest in bulls of both breeds on averages 0.50360 and cows 0.48144.The acts of aggression for the research period were comparatively short: for Hereford bulls and cows 40 and 35 minutes respectively, and for the Limousin breed – 39 and 35 min. The most prolonged acts of aggression were those to motor vehicles, cars passing through and birds, and less pronounced were those to humans, dogs and wild game (foxes).

PURPOSE: The aim of this paper is to investigate the dynamics of the activities of alkaline phosphatase (AP), aspartate (ASAT) and alanine (ALAT) transferases in plasma of rabbits that are infected with Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). METHODS: The experiment was carried out with 12 male rabbits (White New Zealand), divided into two groups: experimental and control. Blood samples from each rabbit were taken before the euthanasia of v. auricularis externa as follows: at 3 months of age, coinciding with 0 hours before infection, and at 6, 24, 48, 72 hours and on days 7, 14 and 21 after S. aureus infection in sterile heparinized tubes. High-momentum configurations of nucleon pairs at short-distance are probed using measurements of the 12C(e,e′p) and 12C(e,e′pN) reactions (where N is either n or p), at high-Q2 and xB>1.1. The data span a missing-momentum range of 300–1000 MeV/c and are predominantly sensitive to the transition region of the strong nuclear interaction from a Tensor to Scalar interaction. The data are well reproduced by theoretical calculations using the Generalized Contact Formalism with both chiral and phenomenological nucleon-nucleon (NN) interaction models. This agreement suggests that the measured high missing-momentum protons up to 1000 MeV/c predominantly belong to short-ranged correlated (SRC) pairs. The measured 12C(e,e′pN) / 12C(e,e′p) and 12C(e,e′pp) / 12C(e,e′pn) cross-section ratios are consistent with a decrease in the fraction of proton-neutron SRC pairs and increase in the fraction of proton-proton SRC pairs with increasing missing momentum. This confirms the transition from an isospin-dependent tensor NN interaction at ∼400 MeV/c to an isospin-independent scalar interaction at high-momentum around ∼800 MeV/c as predicted by theoretical calculation.

The importance of bioeconomy for society and its development in the 21st century creates responsibility to monitor how national and regional economies in Europe respond to the cause called bioeconomy. The report aims to trace the change in the sectoral structure of the economy in the NUTS 2 regions in Bulgaria, paying particular attention to those who are primary consumers and producers of biological resources. For the objective and the tasks of the present study methodology for structural analysis based on aggregated nomenclature А10 from the Classification of Economic Activities (NACE.BG 2008) is applied, as well as other economic and statistical methods of analysis - growth rate and accretion, localization quotient and concentration. The indicators used are the number of employees per sector and share in the GVA of each region for four selected economic activities. The results of the study refer to the change in their localization benefits by regions for the period 2007-2016. The conclusions point to the need for a targeted support approach for identifying and developing sectoral and technological niches of bioeconomy that are promising for the respective region as well the need to develop regional statistical information for the bioeconomic sector.

The effective management of bioeconomy requires a structural and dynamic analysis of the primary sector. The aim of the present study is to gauge the size of the bio-based primary sector in Bulgaria. Results indicate that in Bulgaria the capacities of the bio-based sector are not used rationally. Conclusions are intended to define national priorities and policies in the area of bioeconomy.

The beam spin asymmetry of the exclusive pseudoscalar channel e→p→e′p′η was measured for the first time in the deep-inelastic regime (W>2 GeV/c2 and Q2>1 GeV2/c2) using a longitudinally polarized 5.78 GeV electron beam at Jefferson Lab with the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer. The data were accumulated in 144 four-dimensional bins of Q2, xB, −t and ϕ over a wide kinematic range, where ϕ is the azimuthal angle between the lepton and hadron scattering planes, The measured azimuthal dependence with large amplitudes of the sin⁡ϕ moments is a clear indication of a substantial contribution to the polarized cross-section from transversely polarized virtual photons. In the framework of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) this contribution is expressed via longitudinal-transverse interference between chiral-even and chiral-odd GPDs. The experimental results are compared to the existing theoretical models demonstrating the sensitivity to the product of chiral-odd and chiral-even GPDs and provide new constraints to the existing GPD parameterizations. We report the first experimental measurements of the nine 1-fold differential cross sections for the γp→π+π−p reaction, obtained with the CLAS detector at Jefferson Laboratory. The measurements cover the invariant mass range of the final state hadrons from 1.6 GeV

We report a measurement of a beam–target double-polarisation observable (E) for the γ→n→(p)→K+Σ−(p) reaction. The data were obtained impinging the circularly-polarised energy-tagged photon beam of Hall B at Jefferson Lab on a longitudinally-polarised frozen-spin hydrogen deuteride (HD) nuclear target. The E observable for an effective neutron target was determined for centre-of-mass energies 1.70≤W≤2.30 GeV, with reaction products detected over a wide angular acceptance by the CLAS spectrometer. These new double-polarisation data give unique constraints on the strange decays of excited neutron states. Inclusion of the new data within the Bonn-Gatchina theoretical model results in significant changes for the extracted photocouplings of a number of established nucleon resonances. Possible improvements in the PWA description of the experimental data with additional “missing” resonance states, including the N(2120)3/2− resonance, are also quantified.

The analysis of the nine 1-fold differential cross sections for the γr,vp→π+π−p photo- and electroproduction reactions obtained with the CLAS detector at Jefferson Laboratory was carried out with the goal to establish the contributing resonances in the mass range from 1.6 GeV to 1.8 GeV. In order to describe the photo- and electroproduction data with Q2-independent resonance masses and hadronic decay widths in the Q2 range below 1.5 GeV2, it was found that an N′(1720)3/2+ state is required in addition to the already well-established nucleon resonances. This work demonstrates that the combined studies of π+π−p photo- and electroproduction data are vital for the observation of this resonance. The contributions from the N′(1720)3/2+ state and the already established N(1720)3/2+ state with a mass of 1.745 GeV are well separated by their different hadronic decays to the πΔ and ρp final states and the different Q2-evolution of their photo-/electroexcitation amplitudes. The N′(1720)3/2+ state is the first recently established baryon resonance for which the results on the Q2-evolution of the photo-/electrocouplings have become available. These results are important for the exploration of the nature of the “missing” baryon resonances.

We present precision measurements of the target and beam-target spin asymmetries from neutral pion electroproduction in deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) using the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) at Jefferson Lab. The cross section for coherent ω-meson photoproduction off the deuteron has been measured for the first time as a function of the momentum transfer t=(Pγ−Pω)2 and photon energy Eγ using the CLAS detector at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. We report on the first measurement of cross sections for exclusive deeply virtual pion electroproduction off the proton, ep→e′nπ+, above the resonance region at backward pion center-of-mass angles. The φπ⁎-dependent cross sections were measured, from which we extracted three combinations of structure functions of the proton. Our results are compatible with calculations based on nucleon-to-pion transition distribution amplitudes (TDAs). These non-perturbative objects are defined as matrix elements of three-quark-light-cone-operators and characterize partonic correlations with a particular emphasis on baryon charge distribution inside a nucleon. Photon beam asymmetry Σ measurements for ω photoproduction in the reaction γ→p→ωp are reported for photon energies from 1.152 to 1.876 GeV. Data were taken using a linearly-polarized tagged photon beam, a cryogenic hydrogen target, and the CLAS spectrometer in Hall B at Jefferson Lab. The measurements obtained markedly increase the size of the database for this observable, extend coverage to higher energies, and resolve discrepancies in previously published data. Comparisons of these new results with predictions from a chiral-quark-based model and from a dynamical coupled-channels model indicate the importance of interferences between t-channel meson exchange and s- and u-channel contributions, underscoring sensitivity to the nucleon resonances included in those descriptions. Comparisons with the Bonn–Gatchina partial-wave analysis indicate the Σ data reported here help to fix the magnitudes of the interference terms between the leading amplitudes in that calculation (Pomeron exchange and the resonant portion of the JP=3/2+ partial wave), as well as the resonant portions of the smaller partial waves with JP=1/2−, 3/2−, and 5/2+. Measurements of the linearly-polarized photon beam asymmetry Σ for photoproduction from the proton of η and η′ mesons are reported. A linearly-polarized tagged photon beam produced by coherent bremsstrahlung was incident on a cryogenic hydrogen target within the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer. Results are presented for the γp→ηp reaction for incident photon energies from 1.070 to 1.876 GeV, and from 1.516 to 1.836 GeV for the γp→η′p reaction. For γp→ηp, the data reported here considerably extend the range of measurements to higher energies, and are consistent with the few previously published measurements for this observable near threshold. For γp→η′p, the results obtained are consistent with the few previously published measurements for this observable near threshold, but also greatly expand the incident photon energy coverage for that reaction. Initial analysis of the data reported here with the Bonn–Gatchina model strengthens the evidence for four nucleon resonances – the N(1895)1/2−, N(1900)3/2+, N(2100)1/2+ and N(2120)3/2− resonances – which presently lack the “four-star” status in the current Particle Data Group compilation, providing examples of how these new measurements help refine models of the photoproduction process. The reaction γp→K⁎+Λ was measured using the CLAS detector for photon energies between the threshold and 3.9 GeV at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. For the first time, spin-density matrix elements have been extracted for this reaction. Differential cross sections, spin density matrix elements, and the Λ recoil polarization are compared with theoretical predictions using the BnGa partial wave analysis. The main result is the evidence for significant contributions from N(1895)1/2− and N(2100)1/2+ to the reaction. Branching ratios for decays into K⁎Λ for these resonances and further resonances are reported. Keywords: Baryon spectroscopy, Meson photoproduction, Polarization observables

The target and double spin asymmetries of the exclusive pseudoscalar channel e→p→→epπ0 were measured for the first time in the deep-inelastic regime using a longitudinally polarized 5.9 GeV electron beam and a longitudinally polarized proton target at Jefferson Lab with the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS). The data were collected over a large kinematic phase space and divided into 110 four-dimensional bins of Q2, xB, −t and ϕ. Large values of asymmetry moments clearly indicate a substantial contribution to the polarized structure functions from transverse virtual photon amplitudes. The interpretation of experimental data in terms of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) provides the first insight on the chiral-odd GPDs H˜T and ET, and complement previous measurements of unpolarized structure functions sensitive to the GPDs HT and E¯T. These data provide a crucial input for parametrizations of essentially unknown chiral-odd GPDs and will strongly influence existing theoretical calculations based on the handbag formalism.

First results from the longitudinally polarized frozen-spin target (FROST) program are reported. The double-polarization observable E, for the reaction γ→p→→π+n, has been measured using a circularly polarized tagged-photon beam, with energies from 0.35 to 2.37 GeV. The final-state pions were detected with the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer in Hall B at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. These polarization data agree fairly well with previous partial-wave analyses at low photon energies. Over much of the covered energy range, however, significant deviations are observed, particularly in the high-energy region where high-L multipoles contribute. The data have been included in new multipole analyses resulting in updated nucleon resonance parameters. We report updated fits from the Bonn–Gatchina, Jülich–Bonn, and SAID groups.

The cultivation of legumes in Ukraine is key for agriculture and the economy, as they are strategic crops for food security, export potential and sustainable development of the agricultural sector. The study aimed to examine the current state of legume cultivation in Ukraine and identify the main aspects that determine their production. Gross harvest, yields, planted areas, export dynamics and prices of such legumes as soybeans, chickpeas, beans and peas for 2015-2023 were analysed to address the set aim. The results of the study showed the stability and potential growth of legume production in Ukraine. Despite changes in the level of soybean exports, production and processing from year to year, there is a general upward trend. In 2023, soybean exports reached a record high of 3.6 million tonnes, a significant increase from the lowest level in 2021, when only 1.4 million tonnes were exported. As for peas, chickpeas and beans, their production in Ukraine reflected fluctuating trends. Pea production peaked in 2018 at 755 thousand tonnes, chickpea production reached its highest level in 2021 (93.4 thousand tonnes), and beans in 2020 (65 thousand tonnes). In the period from 2021 to 2023, prices for legumes in Ukraine showed steady growth, with chickpeas at 21.6 thousand UAH/t, beans at 33-35 thousand UAH/t, and peas at 8.1 thousand UAH/t. The price dynamics of soybeans also showed an increase to the level of 17.2-17.4 thousand UAH/t. The strategic directions identified in the study point to the need to invest in research, technological progress and infrastructure to ensure sustainability in legume production

The study aimed to address ways to improve the efficiency of agribusiness through the introduction of modern technologies and innovative approaches. The methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial indicators, analytical reviews, and specific examples of technology implementation were used to achieve this goal. The study emphasises the impact of digitalisation of the agricultural sector on improving economic security, efficiency and competitiveness. The introduction of digital technologies, such as the Internet of Things, process automation and precision farming, is helping to optimise production processes, reduce costs and improve product quality. The study results show that the concept of smart farming significantly increases the efficiency of agribusiness. The use of Big Data, blockchain technologies, drones and satellite technologies provides better management of agribusiness, while artificial intelligence helps to predict yields and optimise agricultural processes. Risk management in the agricultural sector, including insurance and financial instruments to hedge price fluctuations, is a key factor in enhancing economic stability. The experience of leading global companies such as John Deere, Agricultural Bank of China, Fruition Sciences, TE-FOOD and FieldView has shown the effectiveness of digital technologies and innovations in improving efficiency and sustainable development. Particular attention is devoted to the problems and prospects for the introduction of modern technologies in the agricultural sector of Ukraine on the example of Myronivsky Hliboproduct. An integrated model for improving the business processes of Myronivsky Hliboproduct is proposed, including the digitalisation of production processes, the introduction of blockchain technologies, the use of AI and risk management. Necessary steps to overcome existing challenges, such as insufficient funding for innovation, infrastructure constraints, staff training and cybersecurity, were determined. The implementation of the proposed measures will allow the company to become a leader in the implementation of innovations in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, increase competitiveness and ensure sustainable development in the future

Research on the development of sustainable and productive methods of corn cultivation is becoming relevant due to the growing demand for food resources and the need to optimise agrotechnical processes. The study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of maize cultivation under different tillage methods. A field experiment was conducted to achieve this goal, phenological observations of corn plant development was made, and grain quality was studied. The results of the maize yield analysis show that ploughing to a depth of 30 cm produces the highest maize yield of 91.6 c/ha while disking to a depth of 15 cm results in the lowest yield of 80.6 c/ha. The study proved that the method of tillage affects grain quality indicators, in particular, the content of crude fibre, starch, protein and crude fat. Thus, when ploughing to a depth of 30 cm, the starch content in the grain was 70.9%, crude fibre – 2.12%, protein – 10.2%, and crude fat – 4.225%. The correlation and regression analysis showed that the coefficient of determination (R2) for tillage is about 0.9, which means that the model accurately describes the available data, and for grain quality indicators, R2 is in the range of 0.66-0.99, which also indicates a strong relationship between the factors under study. The practical significance of the research results is that they can serve as a basis for optimising the agronomic processes of maize cultivation to increase yields and improve grain quality
