One of the most difficult in diagnostic and treatment options for endogenous Cushing is the ectopic ACTH syndrome, which causes the development of tumors of different histogenesis localization producing adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), and much less - corticotropin hormone (CRH). ACTH-secreting tumors varied in location, morphological structure and the degree of malignancy. Most of these tumors are characterized by an aggressive course with a propensity to metastasize and relapse. The article presents data of the prevalence, pathogenesis of ectopic ACTH tumors localized in the thymus, analyzis of clinical, morphological features, the methods of diagnosis and treatment. Based on the current literature, the world and our own experience on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with ectopic ACTH syndrome with localization of hormone production in the thymus, we want to highlight the current state of the problem in order to create the most efficient algorithm for diagnostic search and treatment of this difficult group of patients.

Postoperative hypocalcemia is the most frequent complication after thyroidectomy. One goal of our study was to investigate the parathyroid hormone (PTH) as the main predictor and early postoperative hypocalcemia. The study prospectively included 135 patients who from October 2011 to May 2013 was performed thyroidectomy. According to the results according to logistic regression analysis, postoperative PTH level below 10 pg/ml was the main predictor of postoperative hypocalcemia ( p 0,001). Sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value of PTH 10 pg / ml for predicting postoperative hypocalcemia were 71%, 99%, 97% and 86%, respectively. It can be concluded that measurement of PTH after 1 hour, and / or on the following day after thyroidectomy hypocalcemia predicts with high sensitivity, specificity. And early detection of PTH allows timely appoint agents calcium and vitamin D to prevent clinical manifestations of postoperative hypoparathyroidism.

Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (BWS) is a genetic overgrowth disorder involving a predisposition to tumor development. The common features of Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome include omphalocele, macroglos- sia and macrosomia. The increased risk for neoplasia is concentrated in the first eight years of life. However, this case presents a late onset of adrenocortical cancer assosiated with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome.

The main difficulty of primary hyperparathyroidism in the surgical aspect, it is possible atypical location of the parathyroid glands and multiple nature of the lesion. Proposed significant number of methods for pre- operative and intraoperative for topical diagnosis in primary hyperparathyroidism and the search for new methods and continues to the present. The proposed method of topical diagnostic studies of PTH-FNAB has a high statistical parameters of sensi- tivity, specificity and predictive value. This method is needed as an additional parameter specifying, in the topical diagnosis of primary hyperparathyroidism, especially in the case of ambiguous and questionable data received basic methods of topical studies in primary hyperparathyroidism.

At the present time topical diagnosis of ACTH-producing neuroendocrine tumors of different localization is the most challenging problem for endocrinologists around the world. Despite the significant improvement of existing diagnostic techniques, in 9-19% localization of the source of ectopic secretion ACTH re-mains undetected throughout life. Thus even regular using of routine laboratory tests and visual methods of diag- nosis do not allow to reveal the primary tumor. This article describes a case report, that is particular by a long period of ectopic ACTH syndrome detection. However, this demonstrates the importance of inten-sive and prolonged diagnosis of primary tumor, that can significantly reduce the morbidity and mortality of these patients and improve their prognosis.

Statement of hormonal activity and potential malignancy are the most important issues of diagnosis and selection of appropriate treatment way for patients with adrenal tumors. Adrenal cortical carcinoma (ACC) is rare disease with poor prognosis. Incidience of ACC is about 0.5-2 per million, and no more then 2-4% among adrenal tumors. This draft of guidelines of diagnosis and treatment of ACC is offered to common discussion among wide round of specialists.

Ectopic hormonesecreting of cecum are rare. We report the case of a 52yearold woman with a typical clin ical picture of Cushing disease. Diagnostic tests confirmed ACTH dependent Cushing’s syndrome, which is caused by neuroendocrine tumor of the cecum. Due to the rarity of the disease, we believe it appropriate to share our experience of this group of patients.

Topical diagnostic methods in ACTH-producing neuroendocrine tumors with various localization. Topical diagnostic of ACTH-producing neuroendocrine tumors is a major stage in management of patients with ACTH-producing syndrome, because one of the main methods of treatment of such patients is surgical. There are several methods of topical diagnostic of ACTH-producing tumors with ectopic ocalization which have some advantages and disadvantages. At the same time until now any of existing methods of research doesn't guarantee 100% result that leads to obtaining the false positive conclusions and, as a result, carrying out unreasonable surgical operation. This report is about the main methods of topical diagnosis and their comparative characteristics. Besides possible ways to increase sensitivity and efficiency of methods and improve results are discussed in article.

Ectopic hormone-secreting pheochromocytomas are rare. Only case reports exist in the literature. Despite the large number of guides on diagnosis and treatment of pheochromocytoma, and Cushing syndrome, the extreme rarity of ectopic ACTH-syndrome caused by pheochromocytoma, and complexity of clinical cause numerous diagnostic errors leading to treatment failure. Therefore, we belive it appropriate to share our experience of this group of patients.

Topical diagnostics of parathyroids an important stage in preoperative inspection of patients with a primary hyperparathyreosis. Methods of diagnostics existing for today not always demand use of all methods for each patient. A research problem was studying of diagnostic value of each of research methods separately and their combinations. The obtained data testifies to high sensitivity and specificity of each of methods of preoperative topical diagnostics of a pathology of parathyroids at patients with a primary hyperparathyreosis. Sensitivity of US, the Scintigraphy, US + Scintigraphy and the Multispiral computer tomography (MSCT) has compounded – 96,8 %, 91,8 %, 99,2 % and 95,2 % accordingly. Specificity of US, the Scintigraphy, US+ Scintigraphy and a MSCT has compounded – 91,9 %, 84,2 %, 94,1 % and 94,1 % accordingly. Findings of investigation have taped absence of statistically significant differences in sensitivity and specificity parametres between US and «the gold standard» diagnostics of a pathology of parathyroids that allows to recommend US, as a unique method of primary topical diagnostics of a pathology of parathyroids at a primary hyperparathyreosis. However any doubts in diagnostic accuracy of US demand expansion of all complex of diagnostic actions scintigraphy, including an SPECT, and also MSCT, especially in case of atypical a locating of parathyroids. On the basis of findings of investigation the optimum diagnostic algorithm is developed at a primary hyperparathyreosis.

Background. Secondary hyperparathyroidism (sHPT) is one of the serious complications in chronic kidney disease and is associated with progressive bone disease and vascular calcification.The objective of the study was to determine the impact of Mimpara (Cinacalcet HCl) on mineral disorder, bone turnover and bone mineral density (BMD) versus parathyroidectomy (PTx) in haemodialysis patients’ refractory to alfacalcidol. Materials and methods. 62 haemodialysis patients with sHPT were enrolled in this 6=months prospective study. All of them had surgical indications for PTx. Surgical indications was established according to clinical or biological assessment. 40 patients underwent Mimpara treatment. Dose of Mimpara was titrated every 4 weeks. Sequential doses included 30–180 (mean 59.1 ± 34.2) mg/day. 22 patients underwent PTx. The surgical technique was depended on quantity of hyperplastic parathyroid glands.Results. In 6 months mean iPTH, Ca, Са×Р, CTx and OC levels significantly decreased by 55.7%, 13.8%,34.3%, 21.4 and 1.4% in the Mimpara group vs. 90.7%, 14%, 55.5%, 58.7% and 26.9% in the PTx group. Median serum iPTH level decreased by 30% after initiation of Mimpara in 94.3% patients, from them by 50%in 74.3%. Achieved the KDOQI treatment targets for PTH in 28.6% patients.In 6 months after PTx median serum iPTH level was 100 pg/ml in 50% patients, achieved the KDOQI treatment targets in 27.3%, 300 pg/ml in 18.2%. Median serum 25(ОН)D after PTx significantly increase by 127.3% vs 6.72% in the Mimpara group. In 6 months active restoration of BMD was found in the PTx patients, and patients treated with Cinacalcet showed stabilization of BMD.Mimpara therapy led to a reduction in glandular volume during the course of the study: in both glands with a baseline volume 500 mm3 and with a baseline volume ≥500 mm3. Conclusions. PTx and Cinacalcet therapy improves phosphorus=calcium homeostasis, bone turnover, but bone resorption and formation markers decreased better in the PTx group compared to Cinacalcet group. The effectiveness and safety of Mimpara for secondary hyperparathyroidism were evaluated in dialysis patients’ refractory to alfacalcidol, which reduced the need for parathyroidectomy in patient without severe osteodystrophy.

Currently the “gold standard” in diagnostics of thyroid tumors is a fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). However, FNAC cannot discriminate between benign and malignant thyroid tumors in 15 to 30% of observations. In order to develop an additional tool for differential diagnostics of thyroid tumors we evaluated the diagnostic performance of 3-antigen serum autoantibody signature in groups of benign ( n = 22) and malignant ( n = 26) thyroid tumors using a dot-blot ELISA-based analysis The sensitivity and specificity of resultant array were estimated to be 55–60% and 95–100%, respectively ( p 0.001 according to one-sided Fisher Exact Test). Thus, we created a prototype antigen array for differential diagnostics of thyroid tumors which can be regarded as a platform for design of more complicated panel, highly sensitive in thyroid cancer detection, which can significantly improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis of thyroid cancer.

Diagnosis and treatment of ectopic ACTH-syndrome currently is one of the most challenging problems among other forms of endogenous hypercorticism. This syndrome is associated with presence of extrapituitary tumors characterized with different histogenesis and localization, which produce adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), or – rarely – corticotrophin-releasing hormone. In most cases the ectopic synthesis of ACTH is performed in bronchial carcinoid tumors (36–46%), oat cell cancer (18–20%), medullary thyroid cancer (3–7%), pheochromocytoma (9–23%), other sites are infrequent (pancreas, thymus, parotid gland, ovaries, uterus, prostate, colon, stomach, esophagus, etc.). Much of these tumors are aggressive and are characterized with propensity to metastasize and relapse. Currently there are few contradictory data on the comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of methods of topical diagnosis of the source of ectopic ACTH-secretion, and therefore there is an urgent need to develop an optimal and most efficient algorithm for diagnostic procedures to determine the extent of the tumor in patients with ectopic ACTH-syndrome. Indications for surgery, timing and extent of surgical intervention, the effectiveness of the operation, the causes and frequency of relapses are still discussed.The present difficulties of diagnosis, as well as the lack of a unified approach to the treatment of this disease in the complex, often lead to the progression and development of a large number of serious complications functions of up to disability, which in turn does not lead to significant improvement of quality of life. Thus further research is necessary to study of this disease

Problem of surgical treatment of patients with a primary hyperparathyreosis – normalisation of level of a parathyroid hormone and calcium after operation. Any of diagnostics methods before operation does not allow to prognosticate authentically necessary volume of an operative measure in each specific case in this connection, was considered obligatory bilateral intraoperative revision of regions of a typical locating of parathyroids. Appearance of a method of definition of an quick parathyroid hormone during operation has allowed to estimate adequacy of a surgical intervention already on an operating table. Besides, it is a method allows to minimise an operational trauma and duration of a surgical intervention, and also widely to use the video-assisted operative measures in treatment of a primary hyperparathyreosis. We make the retrospective analysis of results of definition intraoperative parathyroid hormone at 230 patients with the primary hyperparathyreosis, operated in Endocrinologic centre of science in Moscow (Russia) from 2006 for 2009. Depending on success of the operative measure, all patients are parted on 4 bunches, according to the received results of concordance and research discordance. The analysed results have shown high sensitivity (93.3%), high specificity (85.7%), and also high predictive value of a positive take (99.5%) definitions intraoperative parathyroid hormone that allows to be oriented on its indexes at a choice of operational strategy in surgical treatment of a primary hyperparathyreosis.

Инциденталома в широком медицинском понимании является опухолью какого-либо органа, выявленной при радиологическом обследовании случайно (не по поводу болезни данного органа).

Общая тенденция хирургии щитовидной железы (ЩЖ) в последние десятилетия заключается в том, что если хирургическая операция на ЩЖ по поводу узлового эутиреоидного зоба вообще предпринимается, то удаляется большая часть органа, после чего пациент получает заместительную терапию препаратами левотироксина (L-Т4). То есть, с одной стороны, речь идет о значительных ограничениях в показаниях к оперативному лечению, а с другой – о том, что в тех ситуациях, когда операция действительно показана, чаще всего наиболее рациональным оказывается проведение тиреоидэктомии. Наряду с этим отсутствие в нашей стране единых подходов к оперативному лечению заболеваний ЩЖ приводит к тому, что эндокринологи сталкиваются с пациентами, которым в одинаковых клинических ситуациях выполняются совершенно разные по объему операции. Чаще всего речь идет о пациентах, которым была произведена частичная резекция ЩЖ с оставлением того или иного объема тиреоидной ткани (тиреоидный остаток). Субтотальная или частичная резекция ЩЖ является самым частым объемом хирургических вмешательств на ЩЖ в нашей стране.Анализируя принципы профилактики послеоперационного рецидива узлового зоба после частичных резекций ЩЖ, прежде всего следует отметить, что такая профилактика необходима. На это указывает тот факт, что риск послеоперационного рецидива узлового зоба после частичных резекций ЩЖ достаточно высок и варьирует от 20 до 80%. Это связано с тем, что узловой (многоузловой) коллоидный пролиферирующий зоб является патологией всей ЩЖ, несмотря на локальный характер первых проявлений. В перинодулярной ткани ЩЖ, как правило, выявляются зобные изменения той или иной выраженности, которые и являются морфологической основой для образования новых узлов. Рецидив узлового зоба в тиреоидном остатке обусловлен активной пролиферацией тиреоцитов в зобно-измененной ткани ЩЖ. Таким образом, профилактика рецидива узлового зоба должна подразумевать назначение препарата, подавляющего пролиферативные процессы.

Инциденталома — опухоль надпочечника (-ков), выявленная при радиологическом обследовании не по поводу надпочечниковой патологии. Определяемая таким образом опухоль надпочечника не ограничена никакими функциональными рамками, строгими критериями тканевой принадлежности и т.д. Выявленное образование может оказаться как гормонально-неактивным, так и активно производящим различные гормоны, может исходить из различных зон надпочечника или иметь неспецифичную органную принадлежность, может быть как злокачественной, так и доброкачественной.

Гинекомастия — полиэтиологический синдром, проявляющийся увеличением (односторонним или двусторонним) в размерах грудных желез у мужчин. Причины изменения баланса мужских и женских половых гормонов крайне разнообразны и положены в основу предлагаемой нами классификации синдрома гинекомастии.

Инсулинома опухоль, исходящая из бета-клеток с сохраненной способностью синтезировать и секретировать инсулин независимо от нормального механизма обратной регуляции, т.е. это преимущественно функционирующая ортоэндокринная АПУДома. Она встречается в 1-4 случаях на миллион населения в год [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. По данным различных авторов малигнизируется в 5-30% случаев [8, 9, 11, 14]. Около 5% инсулином ассоциированы с опухолью паращитовидных желез и гипофиза (МЭН-I) и в этом случае чаще бывают множественными и злокачественными. [10, 11, 20]. Принятые в онкоморфологии критерии злокачественности (ядерная и клеточная атипия, инфильтративный тип роста) обычно не пригодны для большинства нейроэндокринных опухолей поджелудочной железы. За одним из косвенных признаков малигнизации принят размер: у опухолей превышающих 2см высокая вероятность малигнизации [9, 12, 14, 16, 23]. В 1929 году впервые опубликован случай излечения гиперинсулинизма после после удаления инсулиномы. И в настоящее время радикальное лечение по-прежнему оперативное, причем тип операции (энуклиация или различные виды резекции) зависит от локализации опухоли. Необходимость дооперационной диагностики инсулиномы определяется рядом причин: -гипогликемия может иметь другую природу недостаточно выявить гипогликемический синдром, необходимо подтвердить наличие самой опухоли; -гиперплазия островковых клеток может иметь не опухолевый, а мелкоочаговый или диффузный характер (микроаденоматоз и незидиобластоз); -инсулиномы могут быть множественными, особенно у пациентов с множественной эндокринной неоплазией; -от 5 до 13% инсулином не выявляется во время операции, что приводит по мировой статистике к 10% релапаро-томий [13, 22, 23]. Дооперационная диагностика инсулиномы включает два этапа: -клиническая диагностика направлена на выявление органического гиперинсулинизма; -топическая диагностика на выявление опухоли и определение ее локализации в поджелудочной железе. Третий, послеоперационный, этап морфологического подтверждения опухоли включает гистологическое и иммуногистохимическое исследование. Этап топической диагностики включает визуальные методы исследования, ни один из которых не дает стопроцентной выявляемости. На сегодня не существует «золотого стандарта» в топической диагностике инсулином. Именно поэтому каждая методика стремится к самосовершенствованию. Наряду с другими методиками Эндосонография (ЭндоУЗИ) занимает достаточно прочные позиции в диагностическом алгоритме инсулином [23, 24]. ЭндоУЗИ представляет собой эндоскопическую модификацию ультразвукового исследования по принципу трансректального и трансвагинального УЗИ или трансэзофагеальной эхокардиорафии. Единственным отличием ЭндоУЗИ от транскутанного (традиционного) УЗИ является максимальное приближение датчика к органу-мишени, что позволяет использовать более высокую частоту, т.е. короткую длину волны, что значительно улучшает разрешающую способность метода. Эндосонография поджелудочной железы производится трансгастрально и трансдуоденально: -хвост, тело и перешеек сканируются через различные отделы желудка; -перешеек, головка и крючковидный отросток через различные отделы двенадцатиперстной кишки [14, 20, 25]. Это исключает возможность панорамного изображения поджелудочной железы и требует от специалиста глубокого знания стереотопографии. Точность метода по мировым данным составляет от 71 до 96% [6, 7, 14, 18, 21, 23]. Описанный в доступной мировой литературе эндосонографический портрет инсулиномы крайне скуден, сводится к «округлому гипоэхогенному образованию» и, вероятно, заимствован из транскутанного УЗИ [15, 17, 18, 19, 21].

Широко используемые диагностические методы, применяемые в современной медицине, такие как компьютерная томография (КТ) и ядерный магнитный резонанс (ЯМР), в настоящее время стали рутинными. Новым, перспективным методом диагностики, появившимся в последнее время, является позитронно-эмиссионная томография (ПЭТ).

Синдром множественных эндокринных неоплазий 1 типа (МЭН-1) это сочетание новообразований в органах эндокринной системы, характеризующееся высокой пенентрантностью и наследующееся по аутосомно-доминантному типу. Впервые его описал П.Вермер в 1954 г. как сочетание опухолей в паращитовидных железах, островковой ткани поджелудочной железы и аденогипофизе, выявленное у близких родственников в 2 семьях. Распространенность синдрома 1 случай на 1 миллион человек. Частота наследственной передачи 50%. Основным компонентом синдрома МЭН I является первичный гиперпаратиреоз ПГ, встречается более чем в 95% случаев, далее следуют островковоклеточные опухоли (80% пациентов), из них чаще всего встречаются инсулиномы и гастриномы (встречаются в трети случаев), опухоли аденогипофиза (54% пациентов). Обычно одним из наиболее распространенных и ранних проявлений синдрома МЭН 1 является первичный гиперпаратиреоз. Развивается заболевание гораздо раньше, чем при спорадических формах, обычно в возрасте 20-25 лет, характерно поражение трех или всех четырех желез. В менее чем 10% наследственных случаев первым клиническим проявлением синдрома МЭН 1 являются опухоли гипофиза, в большинстве случаев это пролактинсекретирующие макроаденомы. Частота встречаемости панкреатических нейроэндокринных опухолях при синдроме МЭН 1 составляет 30-75% клинически явных случаев и достигает 80-90% при аутопсийных исследованиях. Манифестируют опухоли поджелудочной железы обычно после 40 лет, хотя биохимические исследования и визуализационные методики могут выявить бессимптомные опухоли уже в течение третьей декады жизни. Нейроэндокринные опухоли при МЭН 1 имеют мультицентрический рост и могут быть представлены как микроаденомами, макроаденомами, так и инвазивными/метастазирующими карциномами. Основные места локализации поджелудочная железа и субмукозная оболочка двенадцатиперстной кишки. Сочетание поражения трех эндокринных желез на момент постановки диагноза (особенно если заболевание выявляется в молодом возрасте) наблюдается только в 30% случаев, что существенно затрудняет своевременную диагностику и снижает достоверность прогноза. С другой стороны, дебют заболевания в раннем (до 20 лет) возрасте и полиорганность поражения указывает на наследственный характер заболевания. Приводим собственный клинический пример.

Адренокортикальный рак (АКР) редкое заболевание, до настоящего момента характеризующееся поздним сроком выявления и неблагоприятным лечебным прогнозом.

Прошло несколько десятилетий с момента выделения из общей хирургии и утверждения в реестре медицинских специальностей кардиохирургии, нейрохирургии как самостоятельных дисциплин. Сейчас это покажется странным, но в свое время острые споры вызывало отделение от хирургии таких специальностей, как урология и оториноларингология. Необходимость организации специализированных хирургических служб в те уже далекие времена аргументировалась следующим: • огромным количеством больных, нуждающихся в специализированной помощи, появлением большого числа специалистов; • отсутствием и несоблюдением отраслевых стандартов лечения хирургами, выполняющими эти операции время от времени; • невозможностью осуществить статистический учет больных и объективно оценить результаты лечения; • стагнацией развития науки в этих областях. С нашей точки зрения, наступило время для того, чтобы рассмотреть через призму вышеперечисленных проблем необходимость организации службы эндокринной хирургии в России.

Гипотиреоз является одним из самых частых заболеваний эндокринной системы. По данным некоторых эпидемиологических исследований в отдельных группах населения распространенность субклинического гипотиреоза достигает 10 — 12%. На протяжении последнего десятилетия взгляды на проблему гипотиреоза претерпели существенные изменения, что в первую очередь связано с внедрением в клиническую практику современных синтетических препаратов левотироксина (L-T4). Понимание принципов диагностики, лечения и, что наиболее важно, современного представления о клиническом значении гипотиреоза в контексте хирургического лечения заболеваний щитовидной железы (ЩЖ) абсолютно необходимо эндокринным хирургам.

Дорогие коллеги! Завершается 2011 год. Нам хочется подвести некоторые итоги и рассказать о перспективах года наступающего. Следуя тенденциям предыдущих лет, журнал продолжает расширять тематический диапазон публикаций, акцентируя внимание как на научных, так и на методических и практических аспектах эндокринной хирургии. Мы стали больше уделять внимания различным аспектам лечения осложнений сахарного диабета и нейрохирургического лечения опухолей гипофиза. Со следующего года журнал будет выходить ежеквартально, и в связи с этим мы рассчитываем на активность молодежи, опыт ведущих клиницистов и взвешенный взгляд представителей научных школ в составлении материалов будущих номеров. Objective: to study the level of inflammatory biomarkers and growth factors in the peripheral blood of patients with chronic cerebrovascular disease (CCVD) and anamnesis of coronavirus infection COVID-19.Material and methods. The study included patients with CCVD (n=41), 26 of them had a documented anamnesis of coronavirus infection within 4 months before inclusion in the study, 15 people did not have COVID-19. The control group consisted of 20 apparently healthy individuals of the same age. Neuroimaging was performed using a Philips Achieva 1.5 T device. Pro-inflammatory cytokines were determined in blood serum – tumor necrosis factor α (TNF α ), interleukin 6 (IL6), IL18, interferon γ (IFN γ ); chemokines – monocytic chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1), IL8; growth factors – vascular endothelial growth factor type A (VEGF-A), transforming growth factor β 1 (TGF β 1).Results. In patients with CCVD, compared with the control group, an increase in the level of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF α , IL6, IL18), chemokines (MCP1 and IL8), a decrease in the concentration of IFN γ , and divergent changes in the content of growth factors (VEGF-A and TGF β 1) were noted. Patients who recovered from COVID-19 showed an increase in the level of IL6 and a decrease in the level of IFN γ compared with those who had not been ill, which indicates a persistently high activity of immunoinflammatory processes and an insufficient humoral immune response.Conclusion. Postponed coronavirus infection COVID-19 aggravates the existing endothelial dysfunction and intravascular inflammation in patients with CCVD, which may probably require changes in their treatment and prevention strategies in the future.

Bose-Einstein condensates of exciton-polaritons are known for their fascinating coherent and polarization properties. The spin state of the condensate is reflected in polarization of the exciton-polariton emission, with temporal fluctuations of this polarization being, in general, capable of reflecting quantum statistics of polaritons in the condensate. To study the polarization properties of optically trapped polariton condensates, we take advantage of the spin noise spectroscopy technique. The ratio between the noise of ellipticity of the condensate emission and its polarization plane rotation noise is found to be dependent, in a nontrivial way, on the intensity of continuous wave nonresonant laser pumping. We show that the interplay between the ellipticity and the rotation noise can be explained in terms of the competition between the self-induced Larmor precession of the condensate pseudospin and the static polarization anisotropy of the microcavity.

Aim. To evaluate the effect of parathyroidectomy and cinacalcet on anemia, lipid profile and blood pressure (BP) in uremic hyperparathyroidism.Material and methods. Uremic patients (n=39) treated with hemodialysis and having secondary hyperparathyroidism were included into the study. Radical parathyroidectomy was performed in 21 patients, 18 patients were treated with cinacalcet. BP measurement, determination of blood levels of albumin, total calcium, phosphorus, total cholesterol (TC), low (LDL) and high density lipoproteins, triglycerides, intact parathyroid hormone, and hemoglobin were performed in all patients initially and during treatment.
