Background: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-reported personality test that has continued to gain popularity and traction across industries. The MBTI assesses individuals within four dichotomous categories corresponding to ways to, ultimately, assign one of sixteen personality types. Prior studies indicate that physicians trended towards certain personality traits and medical students with a particular trait performed lower academically. Due to the recency of these studies, however, there is a substantial knowledge gap in the relationship between medical student MBTIs and academic performance, demographics, and career interests. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate this relationship amongst 4-year allopathic U.S. medical students and determine if there is substantial correlation to implement MBTI results in creating personalized student support services in school curriculum. Methods: This study was a single institution, cross-sectional study of 83 medical students. A survey was emailed to all students with the MBTI personality test paper edition, in addition to questions regarding specialty interest, learning style preference, and career values. Each student's responses were de-identified after pairing with the respective students' academic performance data and demographic information. Chi-square tests were used to compare MBTI data with categorical data such as demographic characteristics while independent sample t-tests were used to compare MBTI data with numerical variables like academic performance. Results: Our findings suggest statistically significant associations between Introversion (I) with older age and Thinking (T) with male students. Additionally, Thinking (T) students performed better academically, valued variety in patient care (breadth of patients and pathologies seen), and the specific type of patient contact (longitudinal vs. short-term, etc.). Conversely, Feeling (F) students trended towards people-oriented specialties. Regarding learning styles and study environments, Extroverted (E) and Judging (J) types preferred hands-on learning, though Judging (J) types also preferred a quiet environment. No other statistically significant differences were found amongst the remaining variables. Conclusion: Medical schools should utilize student MBTI results to individualize student academic and career support as our study indicates various significant associations between some of the personality types. Embodied cognition asserts a symbiotic relationship between cognitive processes and the physical body, raising an intriguing question: could personality traits be intertwined with the biomechanical performance of the lower limb? This study aimed to explore this connection by examining how personality traits, assessed using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), relate to lower limb rebound power (RP) measured through the five-repetition rebound jump test. Eighty participants completed two sessions: a biomechanical analysis of hopping using an Optojump® system to measure contact time, flight time, and RP, and a personality traits assessment categorizing traits across four MBTI axes: extraversion-introversion (favorite world); sensing-intuition (information processing preference); thinking-feeling (decision making); and judging-perceiving (structure). Participant characteristics did not significantly differ across MBTI axes (p≥0.07), minimizing potential confounding factors. Notably, individuals classified as intuitive showed significantly longer flight times (p = 0.02) and larger RP (p = 0.007) compared to sensing individuals, suggesting a greater reliance on the fast stretch-shortening cycle and showcasing superior use of their lower limb structures as springs. This suggests potential implications for sports performance, with intuition individuals possibly excelling in plyometric sports. However, no significant associations were found between biomechanical performance and the other three MBTI axes (p≥0.12), challenging the initial hypothesis. This research provides initial insights into the nuanced relationship between personality traits and movement patterns, indicating the potential for tailored physical interventions to enhance adherence and optimize responses in training programs. Purpose: The article aims to investigate the relationship between Gustav Jung's theory of psychological types, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) tool, and John Holland's model of occupational preferences. It was explored how these theories can be integrated to better understand and support the career selection process. In addition, the aim of the article is also to try to find an answer to the question whether there is a relationship between the personality type of an employee and the choice of their preferred career path. Design/methodology/approach: The authors described and analyzed 3 psychological theories: Gustav Jung's theory of psychological types, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) tool, and John Holland's model of occupational preferences. These theories could be supportive in the area of human resources management aiming at achieving workers’ job satisfaction. The research was to integrate above-mentioned theories to identify patterns of behavior and career preferences to support human resources management processes. Findings: The study gives the recommendations for possible actions to use of big data analytics to identify patterns of behavior and career preferences, which can lead to more personalized career guidance. Practical implementation of theory integration could be implemented into career counselling, career planning, recruitment, and human resource management. The integration of the analysed theories allows for a more comprehensive approach to career counseling, allowing for a better match of the career path to individual personality traits. Practical application can lead to greater job satisfaction, better professional results and more informed career planning. Originality/value: The value of the research is the possible implementation of the integration of Jung's theory, MBTI, and Holland's model with other psychological theories, such as Maslow's theory of motivation or Bowlby's theory of attachment, which can lead to a more holistic approach to career choice. For example, taking into account intrinsic motivations and psychological needs can help to better understand why individuals choose certain career paths and how they can be supported in achieving job satisfaction. Introduction: As the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) gains popularity among Chinese young people, it has undergone a gradual transition from being perceived as a personality assessment tool to being regarded as a social label. The objective of this study was to ascertain whether the use of the MBTI as a social label has an impact on social anxiety among Chinese youth groups. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on social media platforms to recruit Chinese youth aged 18 to 35. A total of 247 males and 222 females participated in the study, and the data was analyzed quantitatively using SPSS software and the Process macro plugin. Results: The study found no strong correlation between MBTI as a social label and social anxiety. Moreover, this study introduced ego identity, belonging, and impression management as mediating variables and found that, under the influence of ego identity and impression management, the use of MBTI has a significant impact on social anxiety. Discussion: The research reveals the complex role of MBTI among Chinese youth and provides a new perspective for understanding the impact of online social labels on the mental health of youth groups. Of course, this study also has limitations in terms of sample size and variable control. The classification of personality disorder (PD) is undergoing a paradigm shift in which categorically defined specific PDs are being replaced by dimensionally defined maladaptive trait domains. To bridge the classificatory approaches, this study attempts to use items from the categorical PD model in DSM‐IV to measure the maladaptive trait domains described in DSM‐5 Section III/ICD‐11. A general population sample comprising 1228 participants completed the Screening Questionnaire of the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM‐IV Axis II (SCID‐II‐SQ), the Personality Inventory for DSM‐5 (PID‐5), and the anankastia scale of the Personality Inventory for ICD‐11 (PiCD). Using item response theory models and a psychometric linking technique, SCID‐II‐SQ items were evaluated for their contribution to measuring maladaptive trait domains. The best discriminating items were then selected to derive proxy scales. We found that convergent validity of these proxy scales was in a similar range to that of other self‐report measures for PD, except for the proxy scale for PiCD anankastia. However, only the proxy scale for negative affectivity showed acceptable reliability that would allow its application in research settings. Future studies should seek to establish a common metric between specific PDs and maladaptive trait domains using self‐report measures with higher specificity or semi‐structured interviews. The MBTI assessment has become a hot topic online and a common method for netizens to identify themselves across China’s social platforms. These netizens generally consider the results of their MBTI assessments as personal emblems suitable for public display, leading to a remarkably widespread cultural phenomenon. Through structured interviews, this study has found that Internet users are experiencing a psychological crisis of identity due to the dual influences of technological embodiment and the meta-media ecology revolution. Moreover, their behavior on social platforms can be regarded as an invisible form of affective labor. To date, researchers have not paid adequate attention to the immense popularity of MBTI assessment in China, and they have not fully investigated whether MBTI assessment is a symbolic representation of the current identity crisis in the context of meta-media and digital labor. This study has two purposes: First, this study aims to explore whether the dynamic interactions of the MBTI assessment are a form of social currency. Second, it aims to construct an MBTI topic production chain to help understand MBTI’s underlying mechanisms regarding the interactions, the reasons behind its popularity, and the reflection on broader social phenomena. This study compared borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bipolar 2 disorder (BP 2 disorder) with respect to reported childhood trauma and Five-Factor personality traits using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and the NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI). Participants were 50 men and women, aged 18-45, with DSM-5-diagnosed BPD and 50 men and women in the same age group with DSM-5-diagnosed BP 2 disorder. Participants could not meet criteria for both BPD and BP 2 disorder. Borderline participants had significantly higher scores on the neuroticism subscale and significantly lower scores on the agreeableness subscale of the NEO-FFI. After correction for multiple comparisons, there were no between-group differences on CTQ scores. Study results suggest that BPD and BP 2 disorder differ primarily with respect to underlying temperament/genetic architecture and that environmental factors have only a limited role in the differential etiologies of the two disorders. Purpose: This paper elucidates the determinants of dishonest behaviour affecting various domains and aims to demonstrate how addressing these practices can substantially improve overall quality. Methodology/Approach: A framed laboratory experiment with economics students from the University of West Bohemia was conducted, where participants chose between honest and lower-quality production. Using the Holt-Laury method, we measured risk aversion and personality traits using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Findings: Increased inspection probability significantly reduced lower-quality production, with a statistical significance level of less than 1%. Thinking type of personality and Risk Aversion are significant at the 10% level, indicating a moderate impact. Conversely, punishment and rewards were statistically insignificant, with p-values exceeding 10%. Research Limitation/implication: The study is limited by its homogeneous sample of economics students from a single university and insufficient gender representation, which may affect generalizability. Originality/Value of paper: This research provides insights into how inspection probabilities, rewards, punishments, risk aversion, and personal characteristics influence dishonest behaviour, aiding the development of strategies to reduce dishonesty and improve overall quality. This study explores the psychological type and temperament profile of 117 male and 80 female ordinands training at Cranmer Hall, Durham, over a nine-year period alongside earlier studies of Church of England stipendiary clergy. The data confirm the prominence of the Apollonian (NF) Temperament accounting for 41% of male and 54% of female ordinands. Among male ordinands there were preferences for extraversion (58%), intuition (70%), feeling (61%), and judging (60%). Among female ordinands there were preferences for extraversion (56%), intuition (64%), feeling (74%), and judging (74%). Delving into the complexities of embodied cognition unveils the intertwined influence of mind, body, and environment. The connection of physical activity with cognition sparks a hypothesis linking motion and personality traits. Hence, this study explored whether personality traits could be linked to biomechanical variables characterizing running forms. To do so, 80 runners completed three randomized 50-m running-trials at 3.3, 4.2, and 5m/s during which their running biomechanics [ground contact time (tc), flight time (tf), duty factor (DF), step frequency (SF), leg stiffness (kleg), maximal vertical ground reaction force (Fmax), and maximal leg compression of the spring during stance (ΔL)] was evaluated. In addition, participants' personality traits were assessed through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test. The MBTI classifies personality traits into one of two possible categories along four axes: extraversion-introversion; sensing-intuition; thinking-feeling; and judging-perceiving. This exploratory study offers compelling evidence that personality traits, specifically sensing and intuition, are associated with distinct running biomechanics. Individuals classified as sensing demonstrated a more grounded running style characterized by prolonged tc, shorter tf, higher DF, and greater ΔL compared to intuition individuals (p≤0.02). Conversely, intuition runners exhibited a more dynamic and elastic running style with a shorter tc and higher kleg than their sensing counterparts (p≤0.02). Post-hoc tests revealed a significant difference in tc between intuition and sensing runners at all speeds (p≤0.02). According to the definition of each category provided by the MBTI, sensing individuals tend to focus on concrete facts and physical realities while intuition individuals emphasize abstract concepts and patterns of information. These results suggest that runners with sensing and intuition personality traits differ in their ability to use their lower limb structures as springs. Intuition runners appeared to rely more in the stretch-shortening cycle to energetically optimize their running style while sensing runners seemed to optimize running economy by promoting more forward progression than vertical oscillations. Despite growing concern about climate change, there remains a significant gap between individuals' environmental concern and their actual behaviour. Humans' personal relationship with nature is a key contributor to pro‐environmental behaviour (PEB), which may account for this gap. Those individuals with high levels of sensory processing sensitivity (SPS), approximately 25%–30% of the population, have a particularly strong connection with the natural world and have a 'pause to check' attitude that may make them more prone to consider future consequences of actions. We hypothesise that (1) a disposition to experience awe, characterizing high SPS, mediates the association between the trait and connectedness to nature (CN); (2) SPS is associated with PEB, and CN mediates the association; and (3) consideration for future consequences also mediates the association between high SPS and PEB.807 participants completed an online survey including validated measures of SPS, CN, awe, PEB and consideration for future consequences. Correlational and mediational analyses were performed to test the hypotheses.The study showed that the relationship between SPS and CN was mediated by awe. The UN Sustainable Development Goals were set to reduce inequalities (SDG 10) by considering individual differences, as well as improving climate action (SDG 13). The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships among science gifted students' MBTI personality tendencies, Holland's professional personality types, and academic achievement, with the aim of developing individualized guidance strategies based on these results. To achieve this, we first examined the relationship between MBTI personality tendencies and Holland's professional personality types, the relationship between MBTI personality tendencies and the academic achievement of science gifted students, and the academic achievements based on the psychological functional type and psychological temperament type of science gifted students. The findings are as follows: Firstly, an analysis of the differences in Holland personality types between the introverted (I) and extroverted (E) student groups revealed significant differences in the enterprising type. Specifically, extroverted students scored higher than introverted students in the enterprising type. Secondly, a comparison of Holland personality type scores between judging (J) and perceiving (P) student groups showed that the judging (J) group scored higher in the realistic type than the perceiving (P) group. Differences in academic achievement were observed in terms of energy direction, information processing, and approach to life among the four MBTI personality tendencies. Finally, differences were found in psychological temperament type, but not in psychological functional type. The sensing perceivers (SP) type showed the highest score, while the sensing judger (SJ) type showed the lowest score in basic academic ability, and this difference was statistically significant. Gait is a typical habitual human behavior and manifestation of personality. The unique properties of individual gaits may offer important clues in the assessment of personality. However, assessing personality accurately through quantitative gait analysis remains a daunting challenge. Herein, targeting young individuals, standardized gait data are obtained from 114 subjects with a wearable gait sensor, and the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTl) personality scale is used to assess their corresponding personality types. Artificial intelligence algorithms are used to systematically mine the relationship between gaits and 16 personality types. The work shows that gait parameters can indicate the personality of a subject from the four MBTI dimensions of E‐l, S‐N, T‐F, and J‐P with a concordance rate as high as 95%, 96%, 91%, and 91%, respectively. The overall measurement accuracy for the 16 personality types is 88.16%. Moreover, a personality tracking experiment on all the subjects after one year to assess the stability of their personality is also conducted. This research, which is based on a smart wearable Internet of Things gait sensor, not only establishes a new connection between behavioral analysis and personality assessment but also provides a set of accurate research tools for the quantitative assessment of personality. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTITM) is widely used in Christian churches as an aid to deeper understanding of one's own personality and that of one's fellow believers. It is also presented as a guide to those practices that will be most helpful in developing a Christian's spiritual life and discipleship. The article examines and critiques the latter notion, concluding that it is unwise to displace and ignore tried-and-tested classical spiritual disciplines on the grounds of incompatibility with one's personality. Instead, knowing one's Personality Type should help identify the spiritual disciplines that are attractive and congenial and also those equally important but less congenial disciplines, which may well require determined effort. If a dialogue system can predict the personality of a user from dialogue, it will enable the system to adapt to the user's personality, leading to better task success and user satisfaction. In a recent study, personality prediction was performed using the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality traits with a task-oriented human–machine dialogue using an end-to-end (neural-based) system. However, it is still not clear whether such prediction is generally possible for other types of systems and user personality traits. To clarify this, we recruited 378 participants, asked them to fill out four personality questionnaires covering 25 personality traits, and had them perform three rounds of human–machine dialogue with a pipeline task-oriented dialogue system or an end-to-end task-oriented dialogue system. We also had another 186 participants do the same with an open-domain dialogue system. We then constructed BERT-based models to predict the personality traits of the participants from the dialogues. The results showed that prediction accuracy was generally better with open-domain dialogue than with task-oriented dialogue, although Extraversion (one of the Big Five personality traits) could be predicted equally well for both open-domain dialogue and pipeline task-oriented dialogue. We also examined the effect of utilizing different types of dialogue on personality prediction by conducting a cross-comparison of the models trained from the task-oriented and open-domain dialogues. As a result, we clarified that the open-domain dialogue cannot be used to predict personality traits from task-oriented dialogue, and vice versa. Corporate entrepreneurship activities are carried out by individuals working within organizations, including both managers and staff. Consequently, the implementation of corporate entrepreneurship is dependent on the active participation of employees and their demonstration of entrepreneurial behaviors. The research aim is to examine the process of employees' entrepreneurial behavior within corporate settings and investigating relationships between components of this process such as entrepreneurial personality, entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial ideation in umbrella of organizational entrepreneurial architecture. In order to reach this research goal, a survey questionnaire was utilized to collect data from 384 employees and managers working in Iranian electrical and electronics companies. The conceptual research model's fit was assessed using structural equation modeling (SEM) and path analysis (PA) with the assistance of AMOS 22.0 software. The results from the path analysis indicate that employees' entrepreneurial personality directly and positively influences their entrepreneurial passion, while also indirectly impacting their entrepreneurial self-efficacy through their entrepreneurial passion. Furthermore, the findings reveal that employees' entrepreneurial self-efficacy has a direct effect on their entrepreneurial ideation, while entrepreneurial passion affects entrepreneurial ideation indirectly through entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Additionally, employees' entrepreneurial ideation plays a role in emerging their entrepreneurial opportunities identification action. Lastly, if corporates possess a robust organizational entrepreneurial architecture (including entrepreneurial organizational culture, entrepreneurial leadership, structural flexibility, legal and technological infrastructure of company, and entrepreneurial financing), the action of entrepreneurial opportunities identification by employees contributes to their entrepreneurial opportunities exploitation action within corporates settings. Further, the research results show although entrepreneurial leadership governs in Iranian electrical and electronics companies but leaders and top managers have not yet enacted and applied polices of entrepreneurial financing for supporting their employee's entrepreneurial idea and behaviors. The practical implications derived from this research focus primarily on managerial strategies that promote and support employees' entrepreneurial behavior within organizations. These strategies involve the recruitment and selection of individuals who possess entrepreneurial personalities. Business owners and human resource managers can utilize established tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Entrepreneurial ESTP personality profile to identify and encourage employees with entrepreneurial spirit and behaviors. This contribution analyzes the self-perception and political biases of OpenAI's Large Language Model ChatGPT. Considering the first small-scale reports and studies that have emerged, claiming that ChatGPT is politically biased towards progressive and libertarian points of view, this contribution is aimed at providing further clarity on this subject. Although the concept of political bias and affiliation is hard to define, lacking an agreed-upon measure for its quantification, this contribution attempts to examine this issue by having ChatGPT respond to questions on commonly used measures of political bias. In addition, further measures for personality traits that have previously been linked to political affiliations were examined. More specifically, ChatGPT was asked to answer the questions posed by the political compass test as well as similar questionnaires that are specific to the respective politics of the G7 member states. These eight tests were repeated ten times each and indicate that ChatGPT seems to hold a bias towards progressive views. The political compass test revealed a bias towards progressive and libertarian views, supporting the claims of prior research. The political questionnaires for the G7 member states indicated a bias towards progressive views but no significant bias between authoritarian and libertarian views, contradicting the findings of prior reports. In addition, ChatGPT's Big Five personality traits were tested using the OCEAN test, and its personality type was queried using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test. Finally, the maliciousness of ChatGPT was evaluated using the Dark Factor test. These three tests were also repeated ten times each, revealing that ChatGPT perceives itself as highly open and agreeable, has the Myers-Briggs personality type ENFJ, and is among the test-takers with the least pronounced dark traits. This study evaluates the validity and reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI, an innovative adaptation of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), in comparison with the original MBTI. Employing a quantitative research design, the study involved administering both the original MBTI and the Dynomight™ MBTI to participants from the Tulua institution. The primary objective was to assess the criterion concurrent validity and test-retest reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI over a 6-week period. Results indicated a high degree of correlation between the two instruments across all personality axes, demonstrating the Dynomight™ MBTI's strong alignment with established MBTI constructs. Notably, the Dynomight™ MBTI's expanded categorization system, which includes a borderline category, addresses key critiques of the original MBTI's binary classification system and reliability concerns. The study found that the Dynomight™ MBTI effectively captures the spectrum and fluidity of personality traits, offering a more inclusive and adaptable approach to personality assessment. The study concludes that the Dynomight™ MBTI represents a significant advancement in personality assessment tools, providing valuable insights for personal development, team dynamics, and psychological research. The purpose of this article is to provide a description and discussion of the evidence-based assessment of personality disorder. Considered herein is the assessment of the Section II personality disorders included within the fifth edition of the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th ed., text rev.; DSM -5-TR), within Section III of DSM -5-TR, and within the 11th edition of the World Health Organization's International Classification of Diseases (WHO). The recommendation for an evidence-based assessment is for a multimethod approach: first administer a self-report inventory to alert the clinician to maladaptive personality functioning that might not have otherwise been anticipated, followed by a semi-structured interview to verify the personality disorder's presence. The validity of this multimethod strategy can be improved further by considering the impact of other disorders on the assessment, documenting temporal stability, and establishing a compelling, empirical basis for cutoff points. This paper considers how a particular understanding of personality, as manifest in the way discourses about personality types are circulated and employed, may serve as a foundation for rationalizing the logic of human capital and its concomitant inequalities. Focusing on the recent popularity of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in South Korea and the way it is adopted in online content offering advice on English language learning, this paper suggests that a conceptualization of personality as simultaneously enduring and inherent, on the one hand, and standardized and technologized, on the other, allows personality testing and personality type to serve as moral technologies of self that conceal the contradictions underlying the promotion of English language learning as a key to developing one's human capital in neoliberal Korean society. Objective: To determine the frequency and compare personality types among pre-medical and first-year medical students and their relation to the education system and socioeconomic status. Study Design: Comparative cross-sectional study. Place and Duration of Study: Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad and three Secondary-Level Institutes of Abbottabad, Pakistan, from Jan to Mar 2020. Methodology: Of 384 students, 192 were each included in pre-medical and first-year medical groups. After obtaining written informed consent, data was collected on a questionnaire based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Socioeconomic status was assessed using a modified Kuppuswamy scale. Results: Common personality types among pre-medical students were extrovert-intuitive-feeling-perceiving 33(17.2%), extrovert-intuitive-feeling-judging 22(11.5%), and introvert-intuitive-feeling-judging 19(9.89%), while among medical students, common types were extrovert-intuitive-feeling-perceiving 34(17.7%), extrovert-intuitive-feeling-judging 25(13%), introvert-intuitive-feeling-perceiving 21(10.9%) and extrovert-sensing-feeling-judging 21(10.9%). Pre-medical and medicalstudents have attitude preferences towards extroverts, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. A greater inclination for feeling was found among medical students than pre-medical and for perceiving among pre-medical students than medical. For paired personality preferences, both groups have expressed a predilection for intuitive feeling and feeling perceiving. Comparison between groups was statistically insignificant (p=0.788). There was a statistically insignificant difference between personality types with the education system in the pre-medical (p=0.058) and medical group (p=0.916) and with socioeconomic status in the pre-medical (p=0.146) and medical group (p=0.931). Conclusion: Pre-medical and medical students shared similar personalities. Identifying personalities at the pre-medical level is important so medical students find synchronisation between their personalities and studies. Socioeconomic status should also be considered.

Gait is a typical habitual human behavior and manifestation of personality. The unique properties of individual gaits may offer important clues in the assessment of personality. However, assessing personality accurately through quantitative gait analysis remains a daunting challenge. Herein, targeting young individuals, standardized gait data are obtained from 114 subjects with a wearable gait sensor, and the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTl) personality scale is used to assess their corresponding personality types. Artificial intelligence algorithms are used to systematically mine the relationship between gaits and 16 personality types. The work shows that gait parameters can indicate the personality of a subject from the four MBTI dimensions of E‐l, S‐N, T‐F, and J‐P with a concordance rate as high as 95%, 96%, 91%, and 91%, respectively. The overall measurement accuracy for the 16 personality types is 88.16%. Moreover, a personality tracking experiment on all the subjects after one year to assess the stability of their personality is also conducted. This research, which is based on a smart wearable Internet of Things gait sensor, not only establishes a new connection between behavioral analysis and personality assessment but also provides a set of accurate research tools for the quantitative assessment of personality.

One of the most fascinating aspects of human beings is their personality. Two models that are currently being researched and widely used in computational approaches are the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and the Big Five (or OCEAN). In this study, we will briefly examine the history of these two models and the current state of their applications in the Digital Humanities field. Although categorizing research in Digital Humanities is a challenging task, we have chosen to include works that, while primarily psychological in nature, use methodologies and methods from Digital Humanities, specifically in literary texts. Consequently, we can divide this research into two categories. On the one hand, there are works that aim to study and identify the personalities of fictional characters in literature or movies. On the other hand, there are works that aim to recreate personalities in virtual characters based on a predetermined model. Objective. To identify the authentic leadership dimensions demonstrated by nurse leaders and to analyze the relationship between these dimensions, personality types, and job satisfaction among both leaders and their followers. Methods. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted with 111 nurses using the Instruments Authentic Leadership Questionnaire, Job Satisfaction Survey, and Myers–Briggs Type Indicator®. The statistical methods used included Spearman correlation coefficients, nonparametric Mann–Whitney tests, and generalized estimating equation models with gamma distribution. Results. There was a significant difference between the evaluations of authentic leadership by leaders and followers. There was a significant association between authentic leadership and job satisfaction among followers (p value >0.05), while no correlation was observed between authentic leadership, job satisfaction, and personality type among leaders. This study holds that negation phenomena in a natural language involve much more than mere logical entailments in some individual's epistemic model. The unique characteristics of negation, i.e., the persistent diachronic renewal of negative particles cross-linguistically, as well as the prevalent synchronic reinforcement of these particles through emphatic mechanisms, demand an analysis that casts the expressive speaker, not her epistemic model, in the leading role. Opting for a comprehensive account of negation in Modern Greek, the present analysis highlights this subjective involvement of the individual and suggests that it is the thinking and – more important – the feeling speaker that directs the distribution of Modern Greek negators. The principle of student-centered education, which has become increasingly important in recent years, is called the "principle of student suitability". In the education process, which will be determined according to the student, the teacher's inferences about how and in what way the student acquired and comprehended the information may have positive results in the learningteaching processes. Especially in instrument training lessons, which is an important subdimension of music education, one-to-one communication between the teacher and the student makes the principle of suitability for the student inevitable. In this study based on the scanning model, the document analysis method was used. In the study, firstly, what the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) inventory is explained. Then, different studies aiming to determine the personality types of students and teachers in the field of music education are included. Research on the subject was grouped under five themes (author of the research, year of the research, type of research, name of the research, place where the research was conducted) and analyzed by content analysis and shown in the table. It was found that the research conducted was mostly doctoral and master's theses. Additionally, when the relevant research results are examined; it is seen that in an education process planned according to the MBTI inventory, success in instrument lessons increases, students with extrovert (E) preference tend to focus on voice training, and introvert (I) students focus on instrument performance. Personality pathology is increasingly conceptualized within hierarchical, dimensional trait models. The Comprehensive Assessment of Traits Relevant to Personality Disorders (CAT-PD) is a pathological-trait measure with potential to improve on currently prevailing instruments because it has wider content coverage; however, its domain-level structure, which is of scientific and clinical interest, is not established. In this study, we investigated the structure and construct validity of the CAT-PD's domain level to facilitate wider use of the measure. We estimated five- and six-factor models with exploratory factor analysis in a pooled sample of eight independent subsamples (N = 3,987) and found that both models fit the data well; each had interpretable factors that were invariant across gender, sample type, and Black/White racial groups; and the factors had good convergent validity with other measures of maladaptive traits, Big Five personality, and interpersonal problems. Objective: Previous studies have revealed associations between disordered eating symptoms, big‐five personality traits, and psychological distress. However, limited research has explored these relationships as a network, including their interconnections, and even less has done so in non‐Western populations. We employed network analysis to investigate the co‐occurrence of disordered eating symptoms, big‐five personality traits, and psychological distress in Chinese adults. Method: A sample of 500 Chinese adults (256 men) completed measures assessing big‐five personality traits, psychological distress, and disordered eating symptoms. The network of personality traits, psychological distress, and disordered eating symptoms was estimated, including its central and bridge nodes. Results: The central nodes in the network were the facets of openness (like adventure), extraversion (like going to social and recreational parties), and disordered eating symptoms (dissatisfaction with body weight or shape). Moreover, certain facets of neuroticism (always worrying something bad will happen), psychological distress (feeling worthless), and an inverse facet of extraversion (bored by parties with lots of people) were identified as essential bridge nodes in maintaining the structure of the network. Conclusion: Our findings suggest that personality traits (e.g., openness and extraversion) and body dissatisfaction are important in maintaining the network in a community sample of Chinese adults. While future replication is needed, findings from this study suggest that individuals with negative self‐thinking, predisposed neuroticism, and extraversion may be at risk of developing disordered eating symptoms. Public Significance: The present study contributes to existing knowledge by employing a network perspective to examine the associations between disordered eating symptoms, big‐five personality traits, and psychological distress in a Chinese adult community sample. The identified facets of neuroticism and extraversion and symptoms of psychological distress may be worthy of targeting in the prevention and treatment of disordered eating in the Chinese context. Personality is a stable construction, which is associated with thoughts, emotions and behaviors of human. Any technology involved in understanding, analyzing and predicting human behaviors may benefit from personality recognition. Accurately recognizing the personality will contribute to the research of human-computer interaction, recommendation system, cyberspace security, etc. Social media provides high-quality data for personality recog-nition, while classic personality measurement methods such as self-report scales and projective tests can no longer match the social media data in the age of big data. Moreover, the current mainstream personality recognition methods based on machine learning still have lots of room for performance improvement. Therefore, this paper investigates the literature on personality recognition based on social media data, introduces the background knowledge of personality recognition and summarizes the research status according to the data types of recognition model input used, specifically based on social text data, social image data, social application data and multimodal data. Finally, this paper proposes seven future research directions of personality recognition based on social media data.

COVID-19 social distancing mandates increased social isolation, resulting in changes in pain severity and interference among individuals with chronic pain. Differences in personality (e.g., introversion/extraversion) may modulate responses to social isolation. We examined the influence of introversion on reported social distancing-related increases in pain interference and assessed for mediators of this relationship. Individuals with chronic pain (n = 150) completed validated questionnaires 4–8 weeks after implementation of social distancing mandates. Introversion/extraversion was measured using a subscale of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and changes in pain and psychosocial variables were calculated by comparing participants' recalled and current scores. Association between introversion/extraversion and other variables were assessed using linear regression. A parallel mediation was used to examine mediators of the association between introversion and change in pain interference. Higher introversion was associated with a decrease in pain interference after social distancing (Rho = −.194, p =.017). Parallel mediation analysis revealed that the relationship between introversion/extraversion and change in pain interference was mediated by changes in sleep disturbance and depression, such that higher introversion was associated with less isolation-induced sleep disruption and depression, and thereby less worsening of pain interference. These findings suggest that personality factors such as introversion/extraversion should be considered when personalizing treatment of chronic pain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The reliable correlation between personality and brain signal ensures that inferences from cognitive processes can be achieved. This research aims primarily to predict one's personality using brain signals. On grounds of Psychology, the inference of personality in this work is performed on the basis of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality inventory. Personality consists of different types of thinking, feeling and behavior patterns. EEG signals are produced when a person is exposed to situations or scenarios via visual information and experiences various emotions or sentiments. In this study, by evaluating brain waves while a person watches personality traits elicitation materials, the identification of the personality traits of an individual is done. The elicitation materials used for the collection of the dataset comprise approximately 50 videos with the pre‐defined personality of the dramatic personae and therefore, it is considered to be the ground truth for the experimental procedure of this work. For creating a dataset, sixty participants contributed and gave brain signals. The GP model with the proposed BSH crossover, known as the BSHGP model, is implemented. Teachers’ classroom management plays a potent role in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, especially in relation to other psychological variables, namely self-efficacy and personality types. Consequently, the present study aimed at generating a structural equation model of evidence to better illustrate the relationship among classroom management, self-efficacy, and personality types as well as the pertinent sub -scales. A sample of 249 Iranian EFL teachers completed three questionnaires including the Behavior and Instructional Management Scale, Myers -Briggs Type Indicator Personality Type, and Teacher Efficacy Scale. The structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the schematic illustration confirmed the hypothesized model ( x²/df= 1.28; RMSEA=.03; RMR =.03; GFI =.98; AGFI=.95; NFI =.98; CFI =.99; IFI =.99; TLI, revealing significant internal interplay among the classroom management approaches, self-efficacy, personality types, and their sub -scales. The results of multiple regression further confirmed the direction of the path model illuminating the predictability power of the teachers’ personality types and their self-efficacy concerning the EFL teachers’ classroom management approaches. In other words, EFL teachers’ personality types and self-efficacy can predict their classroom management approaches. There is an inconsistent relationship between personality traits and strategic enforcement. Strategic enforcement can be defined in two orientations, namely flexibility and consistency. This research aims to confirm the influence of personality traits on strategic enforcement in Indonesia's financing companies. This research is important because this industry is facing stagnant growth due to changes in the business environment. Data from 242 respondents were collected using a stratified random sampling technique, and the partial least square (PLS) program was used to analyse the correlation between variables. The results showed that managers who tend toward strategic flexibility can be identified by their personality traits, such as their approach to gathering information, decision-making, and relate with the external world. However, sources of energy do not significantly influence strategic flexibility. On the other hand, strategic consistency can be identified by personality traits such as a source of energy and decision-making. However, the way of gathering information and relate with the external world did not show a significant influence on strategic consistency. Therefore, if top management requires more strategic flexibility, managers with an intuitive, judging, and thinking-oriented personality will be more aligned with this strategy. Conversely, if top management wants to implement strategic consistency, managers with introverted and feeling-oriented personality traits will be more aligned with this strategy. People have different ways of thinking, feeling, and hence acting, which resulted in different personalities. Understanding one's personality and how it can be automatically identified considering the way he/she communicates to the world around can be challenging; but it can also be useful in many cases. Deep learning algorithms perform fairly well in text-based personality detection. However, many computational personality assessment models rely on limited domain knowledge. There are different personality models for classifying personality traits according to the definitions of psychologists. In this paper, we focus on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) model and explain how a two-stage deep neural model for personality identification can use more information from text and therefore, have better performance in classifying input data. To this end, in the first stage, we use capsule neural networks to extract meaningful hidden patterns from word-level semantic representation to be used for calculating personality traits. Moreover, in the second stage of the proposed architecture, we benefit from contextualized document-level representation of text as well as statistical psychological features. Our experimental results on the Myers–Briggs Personality Type dataset from Kaggle which has been labeled based on the MBTI model show improvement in personality identification compared to the state-of-the-art models in the field. The framework of this paper is behavioral finance and, more specifically, the analysis of the main anomalies (delay, magnitude and sign effects) present in the processes of intertemporal choice. To the extent of our knowledge, only the delay effect (also known as decreasing impatience) has been discriminated between moderately and strongly decreasing impatience. However, taking into account that anomalies must be explained from a psychological point of view, the main objective of this paper is to relate the aforementioned paradoxes with the four categories of temperaments (artisan, guardian, idealist and rational) by using the sixteen personality types derived from the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and the Behavioral Investor Types. To do this, we will use the Analytic Hierarchy Process methodology in order to detect the different levels of impatience through the so-called hyperbolic factor. This research analyzed the predictive effect of personality types on online unethical behaviors and the relationship between these two variables. Online unethical behaviors are discussed in terms of gender, educational level, and ethics course experience. The study group of the research conducted in the correlational survey model consisted of 269 female and 261 male university students studying at the associate and undergraduate levels. The research data were collected using the Five Factor Personality Scale and the Online Unethical Behavior Scale. Correlation, independent samples t-test, and stepwise regression analysis were used in the data analysis. As a result, agreeableness and conscientiousness personality types were found to predict online unethical behaviors. Further, the correlation analysis results indicated that all personality types except neuroticism had a negative and significant relationship with online unethical behaviors. Additionally, the t-test results suggest a significant relationship between gender and online unethical behaviors. Overall, the study concluded that there was no significant relationship in terms of ethics course experience and educational level.
