The primary issue facing Pakistan's agricultural sector is inadequate access to finance. The study seeks to examine the effect of Islamic finance on Agribusiness and SME growth on the profitability of various modes used by Islamic banks. This research consists on one research question, three objectives. It utilizes quarterly “data “Islamic “banking “statistic “from 2008 “until 2019.The study based on secondary data, and this study is quantitative. Data gathered systematically to answers the research question which acquired from secondary sources such as the financial statements of Islamic banking with different sector of SMEs and Agribusiness. Data for this study collected from SBP websites of Islamic banking bulletin and different SMEs sector of Pakistan. Furthermore, the software SPSS EVIEWS has been used for data analysis. This study conducts linear regression and Durbin Watson method test results for the evaluation and analysis of data. And Unit root diagnostics test of appropriate result. The finding reveals that best Islamic mode for loaning agribusiness and SMEs. Besides, AGRI profit and SMEs “profit Performing Financing influence to agricultural “financing significantly growth of Islamic finance for agribusiness and growth for SMEs trend are show in this research, applying Shariah rules. Therefore financing must be considered to”given fully support to SMEs communities they can get easy business capital access. This research encourages Islamic banking professionals to pay more attention to farmers in Pakistan with Islamic financing. Finding for this study recommends enhancing the competency of Islamic finance tools in the agricultural sector as well as improving Islamic funding policy instruments.

Spiral flow-inducing cannula has been shown in previous research to exhibit a considerable effect on flow hemodynamic. However, there is still room for improvement. In this study, several design variations were tested to determine which variants were the best in terms of flow reduction. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software was used to simulate flow within a spiral flow-inducing cannula with several variations from chamber width and angle differences. The variants were compared against each other by using several flow parameters and a selection method was employed to determine which model was the best. It was found that a variant that has the widest chamber (14 mm) and biggest angle opening (70°) from the chamber to the cannula tube was the best in several parameters, and as such was chosen as the best variant. When compared with the standard straight cannula, the reduction in flow output was recorded to be 30% which is deemed significantly. In conclusion, spiral flow cannula recorded better hemodynamic effects with lower outflow velocity and wall shear stress value.

We report the result of retrospective record review of the clinical profile of 59 neonates who presented to a tertiary-care extramural neonatal unit with Burkholderia cepacia complex infection. Among the 3265 admissions over 45 months, incidence of Burkholderia sepsis was 18 per 1000 admissions. Case fatality rate was 17%. Most (95%) isolates were sensitive to cotrimoxazole.

Objectives: The highest incidence of epilepsy in children coupled with the need of long-term antiepileptic treatment could lead to development of metabolic complications at an early age. Phenytoin and valproic acid are commonly used antiepileptic drugs in children. This study aimed to assess the serum lipid profile and liver function tests in children with epilepsy on phenytoin or valproic acid monotherapy for 6 months and beyond. Materials and Methods: This prospective descriptive study recruited children from the pediatric outpatient department of a tertiary care GB Pant Children Hospital, Srinagar, Kashmir, India from August 2009 to September 2011. All consecutive children diagnosed with epilepsy as per International League Against Epilepsy definition aged 3–18 years on phenytoin or valproic acid monotherapy for 6 months or beyond were enrolled. After baseline clinical and anthropometric evaluation (including body mass index [BMI]), the fasting blood samples were analyzed for serum lipid profile and liver enzyme changes. Results: Total of 75 children were enrolled. There were 25 patients each in phenytoin, valproic acid, and control group. We observed statistically significant high mean total cholesterol and alkaline phosphatase levels in group receiving phenytoin when compared with valproic acid or control group. Conclusion: The lipid and liver enzyme abnormalities may be observed in children on phenytoin or valproic acid therapy, which warrants careful screening and monitoring.
