The social aspects of environmental problems are no less important for preserving the quality parameters of the environment than numerous energy and technical aspects. In the context of increasing environmental problems and difficulties in the relationship between man and nature, it seems extremely important to appeal to the consciousness and thinking of man and humanity. An effective means of influencing a person’s system of beliefs and values is education. Therefore, the article’s appeal to pedagogical potential as one of the significant means of solving environmental problems seems quite relevant. Education system prepares specialists capable of solving environmental problems associated with industrial production and energy-saving technologies.

The purpose of the chapter is to analyze guided by the humanistic personality-oriented educational paradigm, digitalization of the modern education system. Design/methodology/approach: The authors used such method as method of studying literary sources, method of concrete historical analysis, modeling method. The use of these methods of scientific and pedagogical research made it possible to use library funds, catalogs, bibliographic indexes and descriptions, relying on comparison, generalization, systematization, search arguments for modeling the process of forming the information culture of a student's personality and determining factors closely related to it. Findings: It shown that the structural model of formation of the information culture of the student depends on personal characteristics of students and information and communication technologies. Originality/value: A perspective method of solving the determined problem is use of modeling method and on the base of culturological approach formation of the information culture of the future teacher.

The study is devoted to the problem of the increasing the influence of the distance learning format of education on students of different ages. The changes taking place in the modern world influense greatly on modern trends in the development of the education system. It is necessary to pay attention to particularities of person interaction with information and communication technologies, especially in the field of education. The aim of our investigation was to reveal the features of the influence of the distance learning format of education on schoolchildren middle and high school. To achieve this goal, sociological research methods such as questionnaires and interviews were applied. The results allowed us to conclude that younger students have more problems during distance learning such as: understanding new material, deficiency of attention, technical problems with computer, while teenagers and high school students handle with it more effectively. These data results will help modernize the educational process and make distance learning for schoolchildren easier and understandable, espessially for primary school students.

The article is devoted to the study of statistical data on the number of students in the agro-industrial direction in the Rostov region, their demand in the labor market in the conditions of cross-border educational process. The transformation of the education system into a service sector makes self-identification with the profession more difficult. Changes also occur in the system of values and norms of new generations of professionals, whose professional identification formed in the transitive period of the educational space. The considered interdisciplinary approaches to the definition of identity revealed difficulties in the interpretation of this phenomenon in pedagogy, the variety of semantic approaches existed. All these changes lead to the development of a new adaptive model of behavior among students, lack of misunderstanding by educational actors of the essence of the ongoing reforms in the education field and, as a result, the emergence of ineffective educational institutions. If a person identifies himself within the profession that he engaged in, then the efficiency of work, its usefulness will be much higher. Identity as an aspect of motivation will help to remove professional tension, internal conflict. Based on the processing of statistical data, a hypothesis that they have a professional identity proposed. The authors of the article put forward proposals to improve the level of professional identity of young professionals on the base of cross-border model.

The pink salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha) is a commercial anadromous fish species of the family Salmonidae. This species has a 2-year life cycle that distinguishes it from other salmonids. It includes the spawning migration from marine to freshwater environments, accompanied by significant physiological and biochemical adaptive changes in the body. This study reveals and describes variability in the blood plasma proteomes of female and male pink salmon collected from three biotopes-marine, estuarine and riverine-that the fish pass through in spawning migration. Identification and comparative analysis of blood plasma protein profiles were performed using proteomics and bioinformatic approaches. The blood proteomes of female and male spawners collected from different biotopes were qualitatively and quantitatively distinguished. Females differed primarily in proteins associated with reproductive system development (certain vitellogenin and choriogenin), lipid transport (fatty acid binding protein) and energy production (fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase), and males in proteins involved in blood coagulation (fibrinogen), immune response (lectins) and reproductive processes (vitellogenin). Differentially expressed sex specific proteins were implicated in proteolysis (aminopeptidases), platelet activation (β- and γ-chain fibrinogen), cell growth and differentiation (a protein containing the TGF_BETA_2 domain) and lipid transport processes (vitellogenin and apolipoprotein). The results are of both fundamental and practical importance, adding to existing knowledge of the biochemical adaptations to spawning of pink salmon, a representative of economically important migratory fish species. The effect of methyl jasmonate (MJ) (1 µM) on wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv. Moskovskaya 39), seedlings and the fatty acid (FA) content of leaves under optimal and cadmium (Cd) (100 µM) stress conditions wasinvestigated. Height and biomass accumulation was studied traditionally; the netphotosynthesis rate (Pn) was studied using a photosynthesis system, FAs'profile—GS-MS. No effect on the height and Pn rate of the MJ pre-treatment wheat at optimum growth conditions was found. MJ pre-treatment led to a decrease in the total amount of saturated (about 11%) and unsaturated (about 17%) identified FAs, except α-linoleic FA (ALA), which is probably associated with its involvement in energy-dependent processes. Under Cd impact, the MJ-treated plants had a higher biomass accumulation and Pn rate compared to untreated seedlings. Both MJ and Cd caused stress-induced elevation of palmitic acid (PA) versus an absence of myristic acid (MA), which is used for elongation. It is suggested that PA participates in alternative adaptation mechanisms (not only as a constituent of the lipid bilayer of biomembrane) of plants under stress. Overall, the dynamics of FAs showed an increase in the saturated FA that is important in the packing of the biomembrane. It is supposed that the positive effect of MJ is associated with lower Cd content in plants and a higher ALA content in leaves. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Individual linear growth rates were studied in freshwater pearl mussels Margaritifera margaritifera from the Livojoki River. Growth deceleration coefficients were shown to vary widely and differ significantly among individuals. The average value of the growth deceleration coefficient for the population is 0.060. The growth of mussels in the Livojoki River is accompanied by two regular biorhythms. These biorhythm periods were roughly constant both through an individual's ontogeny and among mussels, their average periods were 7.16 and 4.09 years. We discuss the possibility that these biorhythms are of thermodynamic nature.
