In the quest for integrity and transparency, the perception of corruption within a state not only undermines trust in governance but also hinders sustainable progress. This study investigates the relationship between education, economic performance, and governance and their impact on the assessment of corruption in the context of sustainable development goals. The research framework included data from 14 European countries, members of the Schengen zone, using panel data for the period 2003–2022. The analysis of the sample indicators guided us to apply further advanced research methods. Principal Components Analysis was applied to reduce dimensionality. Under various assumptions related to heterogeneity, stationarity and exogeneity, panel Fixed Effects (FE) and Dynamic Panel with Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) were applied to link the drivers and the perception of corruption. The results are twofold: (i) on the one hand, the diachronic evolution of corruption, education index, economic performance or governance perceptions reveals different patterns for the countries of the Schengen zone; (ii) on the other hand, the composite index for education and governance assessment had a significant impact on corruption perceptions, while economic performance showed no apparent link to corruption. Incorporating the effects of economic and political shocks, the study will explore the resilience of the Schengen Zone's governance against corruption, particularly by examining the effectiveness of crisis management and education's role in reinforcing integrity. It will also conduct a longitudinal analysis to assess how these shocks influence corruption perceptions over time, offering insights into the adaptability of policy responses and their lasting impact on public trust. The findings establish new research pathways for academics and provide valuable incentives to policymakers and professional trainers to improve mechanisms for combating corruption. It reviews key research contributions within the field, alongside reputable journals and institutions engaged in academic research. The examination highlights the logical, conceptual, and social interconnections that define the landscape of economic fraud and associated risks, elucidating how these findings inform the understanding, mitigating, and combating of the risk of fraud. Our bibliometric analysis methodology is grounded in the utilization of the Scopus database, employing rigorous filtering and extraction processes to obtain a substantial corpus of pertinent articles. Through a fusion of performance analysis and science mapping, our investigation elucidates central themes and visually represents the interrelationships between studies. Our research outcomes underscore the frequency of paper publications across diverse regions, with particular emphasis on the predominant scientific output from the US and China. Additionally, trends in academic citations are identified, indicative of the significant impact of papers on academic research and the formulation of public policies. By means of bibliometric analysis, this study not only consolidates existing knowledge but also catalyzes the exploration of future research trajectories, emphasizing the imperative of addressing these issues with heightened scientific rigor. This paper presents a method that enables a small car to reach its destination in an indoor environment using ultrawideband technology. For this purpose, we used four anchors and one tag. The tag can move because it is fixed on the car. The anchors and the tag are DWM1001 modules. The configuration of the five DW1001 modules is performed through a smartphone application provided by the manufacturer. The car has been built by us. The controller of the car is a Raspberry Pi microcomputer which controls the driver of the car DC motors by generating PWM signals. In addition, Raspberry Pi communicates with the tag by the UART interface. Thus, our goal was to control the car to reach a certain destination (xd, yd) requested by the user via Wi-Fi. Because the car hosts the tag, it continuously updates its position according to the information received from the four anchors. We implemented two scenarios, considering the initial (x, y) position of the car. In the first scenario, which is simpler, the car moved to its destination either along the x-axis or along the y-axis. In the second scenario, the car moves along one of the axes and then turns 90 degrees to reach its destination. Experimental results that show the precision of the positioning system are presented. Over the past few years, the quality of the managerialdecision is measured by a range of indicators defined in correlation with the nature of the entity'soperations, the economic sector of the activity, acknowledging the regulations in force or takinginto consideration various political reasons. This paper in concerned on assessing the causal relationship between the quality of managerialdecision in Romania and compliance to the global regulations on sustainability and claimingresponsibility. In recent times, there has been notable advancement in the exploration of the circular economy concept. The challenges posed by the global crises generated by the pandemics and wars have underscored the importance of comprehending and adopting new consumption patterns guided by the principles of Reduce-Reuse-Recycle-Recover, as well as streamlining distribution networks. The key research areas pertaining to the circular economy continually evolve. This study conducts a bibliographic analysis based on 2430 research papers indexed in Clarivate Web of Science Core Collection from 1985 to 2023. The bibliometric examination specifically focuses on the economic aspects of the circular economy, and the hierarchical investigation enables the creation of a treemap that captures the most frequently explored research themes. The findings reveal a close association between circular economy research and sustainable development, business performance, breakthroughs in industrial advancements, research on environmental impact, and human involvement in supply chain management. This article provides a fresh perspective on the essential question: company reorganisation or bankruptcy? Competitiveness constantly reshapes business environments and strategic planning objectives. Any important management tool for increasing competitiveness should be based on effective risk analysis models that can integrate business reorganisation capabilities. Relevant findings regarding the process of choosing an optimal reorganisation pattern are discussed, and the conclusions are based on a study of a representative sample of insolvent companies that conducted a reorganisation. This inductive research process presents valuable insights and findings based on qualitative and quantitative analyses of the characteristics of insolvency procedures, proposing an original risk profile analysis model called the Reorganisation Decision Test (RDT). Cronbach's alpha test, the principal component analysis (PCA), and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis were used to analyse the results and refine the company's risk profile. The RTD was compared with the Altman Z-score to assess whether this classical bankruptcy prediction model is relevant in business reorganisation decisions, a topic that has not yet been thoroughly researched. The shortage of studies, data, and statistics in this area represents a challenge as well as an opportunity. Furthermore, an important information gap has been bridged using statistical indicators that can contribute to public macro-economic disclosures in this field. The study analyses 1,757 peer-reviewed publications indexed in WOS between 2015 and May 2023, with a common theme of analyzing cryptocurrencies from a financial point of view. The study was conducted using bibliometric and exploratory analytical methods, with particular attention to the dynamics of the research directions over time. The results have resulted in the creation of comprehensive maps of hot research topics and new research trends for crypto assets. Furthermore, the mapping of international cooperation between the researchers included in the analysis revealed remarkable results. The study highlights some valuable insights into the profiles of individuals and companies who own and use cryptocurrencies. The analysis indicates the recent focus of research guidelines on topics such as inefficiency, risk or uncertainty in cryptocurrency transactions. With the help of the principle of prudence for accounting and audit, empirical studies in this direction require the development and active international cooperation between researchers and researchers and the business community. In recent years, commodity investment research has made significant progress. The crisis arising from the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine highlighted the importance of understanding commodity markets and rationalizing distribution chains. The main research topics relating to commodities are in constant flux. The present study conducts a bibliographic analysis based on 920 research papers indexed in Scopus during 1980-May 2023. The focus was set on the economic perspectives of commodities and a knowledge map of the most frequently used research themes revealed remarkable research advancements. This analysis was deepened by factor-based research methods, which allowed us to explore the relationships between the most used keywords and implicitly identify the themes of increasing interest in commodity investments. The results show that commodity markets research is closely linked to cost-economic research, environmental impact research, and human involvement in the management of distribution chains. A testimony of local development resides in infrastructure, thus the construction industry shapes the image of cities, reflects the past of strives to an innovative future. The economic aspects of the construction industry reveal treands, interest areas or perspectives of sustainable development. The current study develops a statistical explicative investigation on how the construction industry has developed in the coastal area in Romania, by conducting a comparative analysis on construction businesses between the two counties in the area, Constanta and Tulcea. The results point to interesting divergent trends between the two neighbor counties and present interest to enhance the comparative analitical area of contruction research, to local governance, practitioners and potential investors. Working with large databases and selecting indicators for economic analysis purposes raises several challenges and concerns. This paper provides insights on how the choice of indicators in an analysis of reported financial statements may significantly influence the interpretation of the results. The study investigates a sample that includes indicators reported by a large number of companies in the coastal region of Romania. The rigor and compliance of financial reporting ensure the quality and accuracy of information and are key features for assessing sustainable development. The quantitative analysis and case study observation allowed us to capture divergencies in the evolution of financial indicators caused by nonconformities in the financial statements. This study provides an empirical perspective that can raise awareness of potential biases in financial reporting evaluation. The context of construction reflects the complexity of technological advancements, industrial modelling and simulation, intertwined by the need for economic attention. The current paper captures the evolution of businesses and labor indicators in the construction industry of Romanian companies in the seaside region and determines a series of illustrated trends of the labor cost in the principal subsectors specific to construction engineering domain. By combining case study observation and quantitative analysis methods, we could express in suggestive figures the diverse, divergent and compelling business context in the construction industry of Romania's two counties by the sea, Constanta and Tulcea. The dichotomic issues found during our study provide insights into the complex competition, business approach and labor costs in the construction context. The motivation for research and need to disseminate managerial knowledge derives from the impetus to enhance productivity and support for the economic development strategies in Eastern Europe.
