The recent research on the challenges of online education highlights the need for innovative solutions that address the unique issues that arise in this mode of instruction. The aim of the activities in Intellectual Output 3 is to develop such innovative ideas in online higher education, taking into account the needs and experiences of users. To achieve this goal, the project applied the Design Thinking method, which is a usercentred approach to problem-solving. This method involves empathizing with the users, defining the problem from their perspective, ideating potential solutions, prototyping and testing the most promising ideas, and iterating on the design until a viable solution is found. By applying the Design Thinking method to the challenges of online education, the project aims to develop original solutions that go beyond simply reproducing traditional teaching methods online. Instead, the project seeks to identify and address the unique needs and challenges of online learners and instructors, resulting in more effective and engaging online courses. Overall, the activities in Intellectual Output 3 aim to contribute to the ongoing evolution of online education, providing innovative solutions that address the unique challenges and needs of learners and instructors in this mode of instruction. The projects focus on the identification of online lessons scenario that can be easily adapted and modified to work within a given subject/class to meet the needs of online learning. It is necessary to identify the key problems of educational scenarios associated with remote learning, the choice of an appropriate IT platform that is easy to use by academic teachers and allows the learning objectives of specific subjects to be achieved in almost every field of higher education. The project’s activities will Focus on two aspects, that is, digital competence of academic teachers, and the development of new competences in creation and implementation of online/hybrid courses and innovative curricula. Intellectual Output 3 "Reimagining online course for the future of tomorrow" has two main objectives: the development of innovative concepts/scenarios of effective online classes, and the development of innovative tools/methods of learning and working in online groups stimulating creativity, innovative thinking and teamwork. The tools apply to all teachers, regardless of their seniority, background, or the type of institution in which they work, public or private. Design Thinking Workshop (DTW) can be also applied to students as part of the lecture.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020, most European universities quickly switched to distance learning. One of the aims of the InCompEdu project was to gather experiences of online teaching during this sudden transition. Specifically, the in this report we aimed to identify the challenges arising from the sudden shift to online teaching, the solutions found, and how online teaching methods developed during the pandemic. The plans of the teachers for the future were also examined. A questionnaire was conducted in InCompEdu partner countries, including Croatia, Finland, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Slovenia. Interviews were also conducted in each country. This report presents the results of the questionnaire, while the interviews will be reported in another report, Teacher stories. The start of the lockdown and the shift to online teaching took place at different times in different countries, depending on when the virus reached each country's borders. As a result, teachers' experiences with online teaching varied across the countries examined. The questionnaire was designed to cover a wide range of online teaching experiences and methods. The different experiences and traditions of the respondents related to online teaching are reflected in the answers of the teachers, and sometimes the concepts may have been understood differently. The questionnaire aimed to map the situation before the COVID-19 pandemic and the experience of teachers in online teaching and teaching methods used. Respondents were also asked about the main challenges and how they were solved during the sudden shift to online teaching. Additionally, the questionnaire explored current challenges, teaching methods, and best practices. Finally, future perspectives, such as the planned share of online teaching and activities, were examined, including the preferred share of online teaching in the future and reasons behind the choices. The preliminary results of the questionnaire were presented in a Multiplier Event, Challenges and best practices in remote and hybrid academic teaching, and the report of the event is included in Annex VII. The results provide a comprehensive view of the views of academic teachers in the partner countries of the project regarding the current aspects of online teaching and possible future developments. The academic teachers reported a multitude of experiences, challenges, and best practices related to online teaching during the pandemic.

The purpose of the paper is to determine the economic and social features of small-scale farms in Poland in light of the results for agriculture or the countryside, in general. Small-scale farms form an integral part of Polish agriculture. Thanks to the multifunctional role they play in rural areas, their functioning is crucial for the future of agribusiness, due to the growing expectations of society regarding traditional methods of food production, targeting agricultural policy to maintain the vitality of such entities, as well as limited possibilities of working outside agriculture. That is why, in the public debate, an opinion about the need for greater support of this group of farms takes place more and more often. Their closer familiarization will help direct the support in a more appropriate way. Basic characteristics of the surveyed entities, production and income data as well as conditions defining the standard of living are presented. The work uses the results of own surveys and data of the Central Statistical Office. A descriptive approach with elements of inductive reasoning, meta-analysis based on data from questionnaire surveys and comparative analysis were used. The data shows that surveyed small-scale farms achieve less favorable production and income results, have a lower production scale and are less specialized. Although the living conditions are similar to those of households in urban areas, and even better than among rural households, the assessment of the material situation of such farms is worse. This suggests that the assessment depends on the current income situation, rather than on the long-term standard of living.

Although considerable differences between higher education and product brands exist, there are sufficient similarities to warrant a foray into issues of brand management. Higher education leaders may derive guidance to manage effectively what may be the most important intangible asset a college or university owns—its long/term image an d bundle of core meaning. In this paper we discuss issues related to brand management and strategies for re/branding in higher education, with a case study at "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia.

In recent years there has been a significant increase in the number of fast food restaurants. An important aspect of the global and national success of these companies can be ascribed to the consumers’ satisfaction regarding the products they offer, while media promotes the negative effects on the health of individuals. Satisfied consumers will repeatedly buy the respective products and will also recommend them to others; for the company this is reflected in economic and social efficiency. The government, consumers and other entities play a significant role in ensuring food quality and safety. This article presents the analysis of experimental values regarding cracking pattern, specific strains and deformability for reinforced high strength concrete beams. The beams have the concrete class C80/95 and a longitudinal reinforcement ratio of 2.01%, respectively 3.39%. The elements were subjected to flexure under static short-term and long-term loading.
