Kaliumsilanid kristallisiert bei -5°C aus 1,2-Dimethoxyethan/n-Pentan in einer bisher unbekannten Tieftemperatur-Modifikation {-Form: orthorhombisch, Pnma, Z = 4; a = 880,0(2), b = 541,6(1), c = 682,3(1) pm bei -110 ± 3°C}. Nach den Ergebnissen der Röntgenstrukturanalyse (R = 0,032) baut sich die Verbindung ohne erkennbare Fehlordnung aus isolierten Kalium-Kationen und pyramidalen Silanid-Anionen auf. Zur Koordinationssphäre beider Teilchen gehören sieben Gegenionen (KSi 356 bis 386 pm); beim Anion kommen zwei zusätzliche Kontakte zu gleichnamigen Nachbarn (SiSi 355 pm) hinzu. Die Kristallstruktur stellt eine Defektvariante des Baryt-Typs dar, Verwandtschaft besteht aber auch zur Hochtemperatur-Modifikation (α-Form, Steinsalz-Typ) und zum Caesium-trihydrogengermanid (Thalliumiodid-Typ)., At -5°C potassium silanide crystallizes from 1,2-dimethoxyethane/n-pentane in a to date unknown low temperature modification {-form: orthorhombic, Pnma, Z = 4; a = 880.0(2), b = 541.6(1), c = 682.3(1) pm at -110 ± 3°C}. An x-ray structure determination shows the compound to be built up from isolated potassium cations and pyramidal silanide anions without perceptible disorder. Seven counterions make up the coordination sphere of either particle (KSi 356 to 386 pm), two anion-anion contacts (SiSi 355 pm) are observed in addition. The packing of ions represents a defect variant of the barite type, but there are also relationships to the high temperature modification (α-form, rock salt type) and to cesium trihydrogengermanide (thallium iodide type).

Dichlor(phenyl)stiban (1) kann in Übereinstimmung mit Literaturangaben aus der Metathesereaktion zwischen Antimon(III)-chlorid und Triphenylstiban in quantitativer Ausbeute erhalten werden; durch Halogen-Austausch mit Phosphor(III)-bromid bzw. Natriumiodid wird es in das Dibrom- (2) oder Diiod-Derivat 3 überführt. Nach den Ergebnissen von Röntgenstrukturanalysen bei - 120 ± 3°C (R = 0,444/0,041/0,024) kristallisieren die drei Verbindungen isotyp in der triklinen Raumgruppe P; die Moleküle sind zweidimensionalüber je eine mäßig exzentrische η3-Sb··Aren-Wechselwirkung und je zwei Sb··Halogen-Kontakte vernetzt. Denkt man sich den Phenyl-Liganden durch seinen Schwerpunkt ersetzt, so ist das Antimonatom verzerrt oktaedrisch koordiniert. Die Kristallstruktur läßt sich als Variante (Hettotyp) des Bismut(III)-iodid-Typs beschreiben., In keeping with the literature dichloro(phenyl)stibane (1) may be obtained in a quantitative yield via a metathesis reaction between antimony(III) chloride and triphenylstibane; the dibromo (2) and diiodo (3) derivatives are synthesized by halogen exchange with phosphorus(III) bromide or sodium iodide, respectively. X-ray structure determinations at -120±3°C (R = 0,044/0,041/0,024) show the series of compounds to crystallize isotypically in the triclinic space group P. The molecules are associated two-dimensionally by a moderately excentric η3-Sb··arene interaction and two Sb··halogen contacts each. Provided that the phenyl ligand is being substituted by its centre, the coordination geometry of the antimony atom may be described as a distorted octahedron. The crystal structure represents a variant (hettotype) of the bismuth(III) iodide type.

Nach Untersuchungen von Fritz u. a. [10] wird in 1,2-Dimethoxyethan oder Bis(2-methoxyethyl)ether gelöstes Methylphosphan bei -60°C durch Lithium-n-butanid in n-Hexan metalliert. Beim Abkühlen der von Kohlenwasserstoffen weitgehend befreiten Ansätze auf wiederum -60°C kristallisiert (1,2-Dimethoxyethan-O,O)lithium- (1) bzw. (2,5,8-Trioxanonan-O2,O5) lithium-methylphosphanid (2) in farblosen Quadern aus. Nach einer Röntgenstrukturanalyse (monoklin, P21/n; a = 805,5(1); b = 1 820,6(2); c = 851,5(1)pm; = 116,76(1)° bei -100 ± 3°C; Z = 4 Formeleinheiten; R = 0,034) liegt Komplex 2 als Polymer in der bislang wenig beachteten achiralen Abfolge einer meso-Helix vor. Lithium weist mit Bindungen zu zwei Phosphor- (P-Li 252,9 und 253,2 pm; P-Li-P 131,8°; Li-P-Li 132,1°) und zu nur zwei Sauerstoffatomen (Li-O 203,9 und 206,8; O...O 270,7 pm; O-Li-O 82,5°) des a priori dreizähnigen 2,5,8-Trioxanonan-Liganden ebenso wie Phosphor die Koordinationszahl 4 auf. Der P-C-Abstand ist mit 187,4 pm gegenüber dem Standard (185 pm) geringfügig verlängert. Vor einigen Jahren veröffentlichte Strukturen [26, 27] von (2,5,8-Trioxanonan-O2,O5,O8)- lithium-1-(phenylsulfonyl)alkyl-Verbindungen ermöglichen einen Vergleich charakteristischer Molekülparameter im zwei-oder dreifach koordinierenden Chelatliganden., Studies of Fritz et al. [10] showed methylphosphane to be lithiated at -60°C in 1,2-dimethoxyethane or bis(2-methoxyethyl) ether solution by stoichiometric amounts of lithium n-butanide in n-hexane. After removing the hydrocarbons almost completely by distillation and cooling the solutions to -60°C again, colourless square crystals of (1,2-dimethoxyethane-O,O)lithium (1) and (2,5,8-trioxanonane-O2,O5)lithium methylphosphanide (2) precipitate. As shown by an X-ray structure determination (monoclinic, P21/n; a = 805.5(1); b = 1820.6(2); c = 851.5(1) pm; β = 116.76(1)° at -100 ± 3°C; Z = 4 formula units; R = 0.034) complex 2 forms a polymer which has the shape of an up to now scarcely noted meso-helix. Four-coordinated lithium is bound to two phosphorus (P-Li 252.9 and 253.2 pm; P-Li-P 131.8°; Li-P-Li 132.1°) and to two oxygen atoms (Li-O 203.9 and 206.8; O...O 270.7 pm; O-Li-O 82.5°) of the inherently tridentate 2,5,8-trioxanonane ligand. As compared to the standard value (185 pm) the P-C distance (187.4 pm) is slightly lengthened. Structure determinations of (2,5,8-trioxanonane-O2,O5,O8) lithium 1-(phenylsulfonyl)alkyl compounds published some years ago [26, 27], allow a comparison of molecular parameters characteristic for the twofold or threefold coordinating chelate ligand.

The effect of substituents R (R = H, H 3 C, F or H 5 C 6) on C≡E groups in alkylidyne compounds R - C ≡ E (E = N, P, As or Sb) has been studied at the level of valence electron CEPA (coupled electron pair approximation) calculations. Although the reactivities of R-C ≡ E compounds differ widely (depending on E), the isolated molecules all have surprisingly similar electronic structures. For the H, H 3,C and F species, our calculated bond lengths r e,(R- C) and r e,(C ≡E) agree well with experimental values where such are known. Along with the force constants, some trends for the changes in bond strength emerge. A plausible dependence of the dipole moments on E is observed. For benzonitrile (H 5 C 6 - C ≡N), published experimental values of the C - C( ≡ N) bond length differ. The problem is explored using several basis sets and methods to obtain a value of 1.436(10)A. The C...C( ≡P) bond length in benxylidynephosphane (H 5,C6,-C≡P) is calculated to be 1.435(10)A. Possible uncertainties of some of the experimental values are discussed.

Das aus Lithium-bis(trimethylsilyl)antimonid · 2 THF[Note ][(1) THF: Tetrahydrofuran; DME: 1,2-Dimethoxyethan; TMS: Tetramethylsilan.] und Benzylchlorid dargestellte Benzylbis(trimethylsilyl)stiban 1 setzt sich mit Chlortrimethylstannan zum Trimethylstannyl-Derivat 2 um. Dessen selektive Zersetzung am Tageslicht liefert das dunkelrote Tetrakis(trimethylstannyl)distiban 4. Vergleichende Röntgenstrukturanalysen bei +20 und -120°C zeigen sowohl für die aus Benzol kristallisierende Modifikation 4a als auch für das homologe Tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)distiban 3 (+20°C: [2]), daß die bei tiefer Temperatur innerhalb der fast linearen Ketten von Sb-Sb-Hanteln eintretende Verkürzung der SbSb-Kontakte um 7 (4a) bzw. 10 pm (3) nicht wie beim Tetramethyldistiban [3, 4] zu einer Verlängerung der Sb-Sb-Bindung führt., Lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)antimonide · 2 tetrahydrofuran reacts with benzyl chloride to form benzylbis(trimethylsilyl)stibane 1 which by treatment with chlorotrimethylstannane smoothly affords its trimethylstannyl derivative 2. Selective photochemical decomposition of 2 yields dark red tetrakis(trimethylstannyl)distibane 4; from benzene modification 4a is precipitated. Comparative X-ray structure determinations of 4a at +20 and -120°C as well as of homologous tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)distibane 3 at -120°C (+20°C: [2]) show the Sb-Sb contacts within the almost linear chains of Sb-Sb dumb-bells to be shortened at -120°C by 7 (4a) and 10 pm (3), respectively. On the contrary, the SbSb bond is not lengthened accordingly as found for tetramethyldistibane previously [3, 4].

Das farblose Lithium-bis(trimethylsilyl)bismutid · DME[Note ] 1 und das grüne, metallähnlich glänzende Tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)dibismutan 2 kristallisieren isotyp zu ihren jeweiligen Antimon-Homologen [1, 2]. Nach Röntgenstrukturanalysen {1: -90°C; I42d; a = 1017,3(4); c = 3738,0(26) pm; Z = 8; Rw = 0,065; 2: + 20°C; P21/c; a = 680,9(4); b = 1704,8(13); c = 1197,9 (10) pm; β = 119,46(6)°; Z = 2; Rw = 0,084} bilden beide Verbindungen im Festkörper Ketten. Beim Bismutid 1 bauen sie sich schraubenartig aus Bismut- und Lithiumatomen in alternierender Abfolge auf; durch Bindung zu zwei Trimethylsilyl-Substituenten bzw. zum Chelatliganden DME wird jeweils die Koordinationszahl 4 erreicht.

2,2-Dimethylpropionyl-phenylphosphan und Bis[bis(trimethylisilyl)-amino]quecksilber reagieren unter Quecksilberabscheidung zum 1,2-Bis(2,2-dimethylpropionyl)-1, 2-diphenyldiphosphan 1a. Die Verbindung kristallisiert orthorhombisch in der nichtzentrosymmetrischen Raumgruppe Pca21 mit a = 22,13(1); b = 17,59(2); c = 11,14(2) Å; Z = 8. Wie eine Röntgenstrukturanalyse (R = 4,0%) bei -145°C zeigt, liegen die Enantiomeren R,R und S,S mit einer transoiden Anordnung der Substituenten an den Phosphoratomen vor. Die asymmetrische Einheit der Elementarzelle enthält zwei Moleküle unterschiedlicher Konformation. Der Abstand zwischen Phosphor- und Carbonylkohlenstoffatom ist mit 1,89 Å gegenüber dem Standardwert verlängert., 2,2-Dimethylpropionyl-phenylphosphine and bis[bis(trimethylsily)amino]mercury react to form mercury and 1, 2-bis(2, 2-dimethylpropionyl)-1, 2-diphenyldiphosphine 1 a. Compared with the standard value the bond between the phosphorus and the carbon atom of the carbonyl group is elongated (1. 89 Å).

Tetramethyldistibane which shows a colour change from deep red to pale yellow upon melting, has been subjected to single-crystal x-ray diffraction analyses at -21° and -139°C (orthorhombic, Pnma, Z = 4, -139°C: a = 1150.9(3); b = 1136.8(2); c = 651.6(2) pm). The molecules adopt the antiperiplanar conformation with the crystallographically imposed symmetry m (c 3) and are aligned in extended linear antimony chains with short intermolecular contacts (-139 °C: Sb-Sb 283.8(1), Sb···Sb 367.8(1) pm; Sb-Sb...Sb 179.2°). The structure is compared with those of similar compounds.

Bis[bis(trimethylsilyl) phosphano]methan reagiert mit 2,2-Dimethyl-pro-pionylchlorid zum Bis[(-2,2-dimethyl-1-trimethylsiloxypropyliden)phosphano]methan. Die Verbindung (Schmp. 39°) wurde bei -95 ± 5°C röntgenstrukturanalytisch untersucht. Sie kristallisiert in der nichtzentrosymmetrischen Raumgruppe Pca21 mit a = 15,61(1);b = 12,84(1); c = 11,84(2) Å. Z = 4; R = 0,039. NMR- und IR-spektroskopische Untersuchungen zeigen, daß die Trimethylsilylgruppen an die Sauerstoffatome gebunden sind und die dritte Valenz der zweifach koordinierten Phosphoratome über Doppelbindungen zu den benachbarten Kohlenstoffatomen abgesättigt wird. Dies wird durch die Röntgenstrukturanalyse bestätigt. Die von der P C-Gruppe ausgehenden Bindungen liegen in einer Ebene; beide Ebenen des Moleküls sind um 85,1° gegeneinander verdreht. Die Anordnung der Substituenten entspricht einem Z/Z-Isomeren. In beiden Molekülhälften weichen mit Ausnahme der Winkel an den Sauerstoffatomen (141°,135°) Bindungsabstände und -winkel nur geringfügig voneinander ab., In the reaction of 2,2-dimethylpropionyl chloride with bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)-phosphano]methane bis[(-2,2-dimethyl-1-trimethylsiloxypropyliden)phosphano]methane is formed. This is confirmed by the X-ray structure determination. All bonds leading to the PC group lie in a plane; both planes of the molecules are mutually inclined by 85.1°. The arrangement of substituents corresponds to a Z/Z-isomer. In both parts of the molecule bond distances and angles differ only slightly, the angles at the oxygen atoms (141°,135°) excepted.

Der Wasserstoff-Metall-Austausch zwischen Dibenzoylphosphan und Calciumcarbid in Tetrahydrofuran (THF) ergibt nach Zusatz des Liganden 1, 3, 5-Trimethyl-1, 3, 5-triazinan (TMTA) den als Kokristallisat mit Benzol isolierten zweikernigen Komplex Bis[(tmta-N, N, N)calcium-bis(dibenzoylphosphanid)] (1a). In ähnlicher Weise führt die Umsetzung von Bis(2, 2-dimethylpropionyl)phosphan mit Bis(thf-O)calcium-bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amid] in 1, 2-Dimethoxyethan (DME) mit guten Ausbeuten zum -Bis(dme-O, O)calcium-bis[bis(2, 2-dimethylpropionyl)phosphanid] (1b). Über die Reaktion von Bis(thf-O)calcium-bis[tris(trimethylsilylmethyl)zinkat] mit dem Kohlenstoffanalogon 1, 3-Diphenylpropan-1, 3-dion (Dibenzoylmethan) bzw. 2, 2, 6, 6-Tetramethylheptan-3, 5-dion (Dipivaloylmethan) erhält man im gleichen Solvens das einkernige Bis(dme-O, O)calcium-bis(dibenzoylmethanid) (2a) und das zweikernige (-dme-O, O)Bis[(dme-O, O)calcium-bis(dipivaloylmethanid)] (2b). Überraschenderweise setzt sich das dabei gebildete Dialkylzink mit den 1, 3-Diketonaten 2a und 2b nicht weiter um. Schließlich kann aus dem unsymmetrischen Liganden 2-(Methoxycarbonyl)cyclopentanon und Bis(thf-O)calcium-bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amid] in Toluol der dreikernige Komplex 3 als Kokristallisat mit Tetrahydrofuran erhalten werden; der -Ketoester-Ligand verbrückt als Anion ausschließlich über die Cyclopentanon-Einheit. The carbon analogues 1, 3-diphenylpropane-1, 3-dione (dibenzoylmethane) or 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethylheptane-3, 5-dione (dipivaloylmethane) and bis(thf-O)calcium bis[tris(trimethylsilylmethyl)zincate] in DME afford bis(dme-O, O)calcium bis(dibenzoylmethanide) (2a) and the binuclear complex (-dme-O, O)bis[(dme-O, O)calcium bis(dipivaloylmethanide)] (2b), respectively. Dialkylzinc formed during the metalation reaction shows no reactivity towards the 1, 3-dionates 2a and 2b. Finally, from the reaction of the unsymmetrically substituted ligand 2-(methoxycarbonyl)cyclopentanone and bis(thf-O)calcium bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amide] in toluene, the trinuclear complex 3 is obtained, co-crystallizing with THF. The -ketoester anion bridges solely via the cyclopentanone unit.

Untersuchungen an kristallinen Lithiumphosphaniden ergeben in Abhängigkeit von den Liganden am Lithium- und den Substituenten am Phosphoratom eine überraschend große Strukturviefalt. Das aus Silylphosphan durch zweifache Lithinierung mit Lithium-dimethylphosphanid, nachfolgende einfache Silylierung mit Silyl-trifluormethansulfonat und anschließende Komplexierung gut zugängliche Bis[1,2-bis(dimethylamino)ethan-N,N]lithium-disilylphosphanid (1) gehört zur bislang kleinen Gruppe der im Festkörper ionisch vorliegenden Verbindungen. Nach einer Röntgenstruktur-analyse (wR = 0,038) an den aus Diethylether isolierten Kristallen {monoklin; Raumgruppe P21/c; a = 897,8(1); b = 1 673,6(2); c = 1 466,8(1) pm;β = 90,73(1)° bei -100 ± 3°C; Z = 4 Formeleinheiten} ist Lithium verzerrt tetraedrisch von vier Stickstoffatomen aus zwei 1,2-Bis(dimethyl-amino)ethan-Molekülen umgeben. Das Disilylphosphanid-Anion weist einen gegenüber dem Standard von 225 auf 217 pm verkürzten mittleren P-Si-Abstand und einen Si-P-Si-Winkel von 92,3° auf., Crystalline lithium phosphanides studied so far show a remarkably high diversity of structure types dependent on the ligands at lithium and the substituents at phosphorus. Bis[1,2-bis(dimethylamino)ethane-N,N]lithium disilylphosphanide (1) discussed here, belongs to the up to now small group of compounds which are ionic in the solid state. It is best prepared from silylphosphane by twofold lithiation with lithium dimethylphosphanide first and subsequent monosilylation with silyl trifluoromethanesulfonate, followed by complexation. As found by X-ray structure determination (wR = 0.038) on crystals obtained from diethyl ether {monoclinic; space group P21/c; a = 897.8(1); b = 1 673.6(2); c = 1 466.8(1) pm; β= 90.73(1)° at -100 ± 3°C; Z = 4 formula units}, the lithium cation is tetrahedrally coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of two 1,2-bis(dimethylamino)ethane molecules. Characteristic parameters of the disilylphosphanide anion are a shortened average P-Si bond length of 217 pm (standard value 225 pm) and a Si-P-Si angle of 92.3°.

Binuclear molecules R 2 E-ER 2 or R-Y-Y-R, formed by the heavier pnicogen (E) or chalkogen atoms (Y), respectively, tend to align in homonuclear linear chains in the solid state, if steric requirements introduced by the substituents R do not prevent this association. Going from the third period elements phosphorus or sulfur to their higher homologues, the longer intermolecular distances within these chains gradually change in nature from normal van der Waals contacts to secondary bonds. For distibanes and dibismuthanes the differing bonding situations between the solid and liquid states are reflected in a bathochromic colour shift upon crystallization. Mononuclear halogenostibanes and -bismuthanes with aromatic groups are subject to intermolecular association, too, if there are enough electronegative substituents to invoke a sufficient Lewis acidity at the pnicogen atom. Non-classical pnicogen-arene interactions are found together with asymmetrie halogeno bridges for aryl-substituted stibanes. Only one of the corresponding bismuthanes has been investigated up to now; it shows symmetrie halogeno bridges, but no bismuth-arene coordination.

Die Struktur der Phosphonsäure H 3 PO 3 wurde mittels Neutronenbeugung (λ = 104,22 pm) an einem Einkristall bei 15,0 ± 0,1 K neu bestimmt, so daß Gitterparameter {Pna21; Z = 8; a = 716,6(3); b = 1201,3(5); c 674,3(3) pm} und Bindungslängen {Mittelwerte aus zwei kristallographisch unabhängigen Molekülen: P-O 155; P = O 150; P-H 139; O-H 101 pm} nun sehr genau (R = 0,053) bekannt sind. Jedes Molekül nimmt teil an vier unsymmetrischen Wasserstoff-Brückenbindungen (O...H 155 bis 160 pm; O-H...O 168 bis 177°), wobei die Hydroxyl-Gruppen als Donoren und die Phosphoryl-Fragmente als jeweils zweifache Akzeptoren auftreten. Insgesamt wird so ein komplexes, aus Maschen von vier und acht Knoten im Verhältnis 1:2 bestehendes Raumnetz aufgespannt, obwohl die Moleküle selbst verhältnismäßig übersichtlich im Sinne einer kubisch dichtesten Anordnung gepackt sind. [2] sowie später von uns auf anderem Wege [3] synthetisierten (Diphenylmethyliden)mesitylphosphan 1b {-125 ± 3°C; orthorhombisch; Pbca; a = 951,2(7); b = 2115,8(9); c = 1737,0(18)pm; Z = 8; Rg = 0,041} ergab folgende charakteristische Bindungslängen und -winkel: P=C 169,3(2); P-C 183, 0(2) pm; C-P=C 107,6(2)°; P=C-C 124,8(2)° bzw. 118,0(2)°. Diese Parameter stimmen zwar weitestgehend mit den von anderen Autoren [4] an einem monoklinen Polymorphen 1b bestimmten Werten überein; hinsichtlich seiner Molekülkonformation gleicht 1b aber eher Dem homologen (Diphenylmethyliden)mesitylamin 1a [5]. The molecular and crystal structures of the isotypic compounds tetramethyldiphosphane 1 and -diarsane 2 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction (monoclinic; C2/m; Z = 2; 1/2: -155/-144 ·C°; a = 540.6(2)/555.8(2); b = 1131.0(6)/1136.7(6); c = 602.5(2)/612.8(2) pm;β = 97.31(3)/95.24(3)"; P-P 221.2(1)/As-As242.9(1) pm). Zur Koordinationssphäre beider Teilchen gehören sieben Gegenionen (KSi 356 bis 386 pm); beim Anion kommen zwei zusätzliche Kontakte zu gleichnamigen Nachbarn (SiSi 355 pm) hinzu. [2] dargestellte 1H-1,3-Benzazaphosphol 2b kristallisiert orthorhombisch in der Raumgruppe Pna21 mit folgenden, bei einer Meßtemperatur Von -80 ± 3°C bestimmten Abmessungen der Elementarzelle: a = 828,6(2); b = 557,1(1); c = 1433,5(4) pm; Z = 4. Nach den Ergebnissen einer Röntgenstrukturanalyse (Rg = 0,061) weist das Molekül bei einem C-P=C-Winkel von nur 88,2(4)° eine auf 180,7(7) pm Verkürzte Einfach- und eine mit 169,5(9) pm typische Doppelbindung zwischen Den Kohlenstoffatomen und dem zweifach koordinierten Phosphoratom auf. Die übrigen Bindungslängen weichen kaum von den für die Homologen Benzimidazol 2a [3, 4] und 1H-1,3-Benzazarsol 2c [5] publizierten Werten ab. Alkyl- und Arylbis(trimethylsilyl)phosphane sind aus den entsprechenden Dilithiumphosphiden (Primäres Phosphan und Methyllithium) und Trimethylchlorsilan oder aus Lithiumbis (trimethylsily) phosphid und Alkylhalogeniden zugänglich. 3. Geeignete Synthesen für Alkyl-und Aryltrimethylsilyphosphane sind die Umsetzungen der Alkyl-und Aryllithiumphosphide mit Trimethylchlorsilan (Ausnahme; Methyl) sowie der Alkyl- und Arylbis (Trimethylsilyl) phosphane mit Methanol. Die Reaktion zwischen Phenylbis (trimethylsilyl)-Phosphan und wasser wurde naher untersucht und die Bildung von Trimethylsilanol 1H-NMR- spektroskopisch nachgewiesen. Lithiumtrimethylsilylphosphide reagieren mit 2, 2-Dimethylpropionylchlorid zu den (2,2-Dimethylplropionyl) trimethylsilyphosphanen (Ketoformen)., Syntheses and properties of Acylphyosphanes. VI. [Bis(trimethylsilylsulfano)methyliden]phenylphosphan 4 a kristallisiert monoklin in der zentrosymmetrischen Raumgruppe P21/c mit folgenden, bei der Meßtemperatur von -95 ± 3°C bestimmten Gitterkonstanten: a = 1386,4(8); b = 1036,0(7); c = 1281,7(8) pm; ß = 101,23(4)°; Z = 4. An X-ray structure determination (R = 0.032) proves the constitution of this compound as already derived from its nmr spectra.

Tetramethyldistibane which shows a colour change from deep red to pale yellow upon melting, has been subjected to single-crystal x-ray diffraction analyses at -21° and -139°C (orthorhombic, Pnma, Z = 4, -139°C: a = 1150.9(3); b = 1136.8(2); c = 651.6(2) pm). The molecules adopt the antiperiplanar conformation with the crystallographically imposed symmetry m (c 3) and are aligned in extended linear antimony chains with short intermolecular contacts (-139 °C: Sb-Sb 283.8(1), Sb···Sb 367.8(1) pm; Sb-Sb...Sb 179.2°). The structure is compared with those of similar compounds.

In Übereinstimmung mit den Arbeiten anderer Autoren reagiert Phenylbis(trimethylsilyl)phosphan mit Phenyliscocyanat unter Bildung eines 1:1-Adduktes. Das publizierte 1H-NMR-Spektrum konnten wir allerdings nicht bestätigen. Zur Klärung wurde das aus 4-Chlorphenylisocyanat synthetisierte Derivat röntgenstrukturanalytisch untersucht., In agreement with results given in the literature phenylbis(trimethylsily)phosphane and phenyl isocyanate form an addition compound. However, we were unable to confirm the reported 1H-NMR data. To settle the matter the 4-chlorophenyl derivative was synthesized from 4-chlorophenyl isocyanate.
