The Handbook Research Video is an introduction to a new type of software and publication based on annotated videos. Practitioners and researchers who work with motion data, for example in the fields of performative art, film, behavioral research or sports science, are supported in their work process and have the opportunity to publish content via video that a printed book cannot convey. The handbook not only presents the findings of the Research Video project at Zurich University of the Arts, but also offers a manual for using the software tool. Low-threshold'hands-on'access and the absence of a theoretical superstructure allow users to quickly become familiar with and use the software tool.

Translating audio description scripts from foreign into source language seems to be a tempting alternative strategy of creating audio description scripts in those countries where audio description is still scarce. This book presents the results of a three-stage study. This study was conducted to test whether the translation of audio description scripts written by experienced British audio describers into Polish is a solution that is less time and money consuming. Besides it was analysed whether the scripts created through the application of the translation strategy preserve the quality that satisfies the target recipients. The obtained results prove that translation of audio description scripts is not only possible, but also beneficial when it comes to time consumption, costs and quality of audio description.

Video games have evolved to become a pervasive format which is beyond entertainment, enjoyed by a broad group of people rather than as a niche activity by hardcore gamers. However, to date, academic studies focusing on game localization and accessibility are few and far between, despite the fact that further research in localization and accessibility would be beneficial to all. The different contributions in this pioneering volume address the emerging fields of Game Accessibility and Game Localization from different angles, providing insightful information about these relatively unexplored academic areas with such close tights to the industry. The volume is divided in two sections: the first section includes four contributions on Game Accessibility, dealing with issues such as universally accessible games and guidelines for promoting accessibility.
