Paper ini mengusulkan metode pembentukan ekstrakurikuler robotika di pesantren sebagai program yang berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kompetensi STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) para santri. Metode yang diusulkan mencakup survey berupa komunikasi dengan stakeholder, pelatihan, workshop, evaluasi, pembentukan ekstrakurikuler secara mandiri oleh pesantren, dilanjutkan dengan supervisi. Studi kasus yang kami angkat adalah pembentukan ekstrakurikuler di Pondok Pesantren Pembangunan Sumur Bandung (P3SB).Kata Kunci: STEAM, ekstrakurikuler, robotika, pesantren.

In general active sun trackers move because they respond to light sensors that measure the intensity of sunlight. However, sensor based trackers are usually more expensive than sensor less trackers. In addition, based on several studies, a comparison between sensor and sensorless based tracker only reports lower tracking error and higher power generation for sensor based than sensorless tracker but does not include an analysis of energy use on the sensor. Therefore, this study aims to design a sensorless closed loop tracking system for solar panels with two degrees of freedom. The tracking controller in this study is based on the Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) method. In this study, a dual-axis PV can increase power output by 20.2% compared to a fixed PV (0 ° axis position). This is because, in comparison to a fixed PV, dual axis PV adjusts the solar panel perpendicular to the sun's position to optimize electrical conversion.

Ball and beam system (BBS) is a commonly used model to represent several complex and unstable systems. BBS is underactuated system. It is an ideal model to implement kind of control theory. Most of control design are done using simulation method. This method is not realistic because it is conducted on the ideal situation which implies that the result cannot be directly used to control the real system. Hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation is a method that can be used to solve these problems. The use of real controller makes the design experience more realistic and ready to implement. This paper proposes a design of full state feedback for BBS stabilization using HIL simulator. The contribution of this work is to design state estimator on the BBS setup to estimate position and velocity. The result shows that the proposed control and estimator are successfully implemented. The estimator can estimate the output position with time convergent about 1,32 second. The performance of the system is similar with simulation and real plant implementation. It shows that this method can represent the dynamic response of the system on full state feedback control.

Sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh yang sedang digulirkan oleh sistem Pendidikan Indonesia karena pandemi Covid19. Akan tetapi, sistem tersebut memiliki rintangan yaitu dapat mengurangi kegigihan, minat, dan konsentrasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, pada pengabdian masyarakat ini diadakan kegiatan pelatihan robotika dasar dengan tujuan dapat memperkenalkan dan memotivasi siswa pada bidang robotika untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara onsite agar memberikan paparan secara langsung mengenai robotika dan meningkatkan minat mahasiswa. Pelatihan robotika dasar ini menggunakan robot Makeblock tipe robot ground dan aerial. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, 79,3% peserta setuju bahwa program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini sudah sesuai dengan tujuan dan kebutuhan masyarakat saran, sisanya 20.8% peserta sangat setuju dengan hal tersebut.

Penelitian ini melakukan penerapan metode kendali Control Lyapunov-Barrier Function (CLBF) pada model quadcopter menggunakan perangkat lunak Simulink. Kendali CLBF digunakan untuk menggerakkan model quadcopter dari posisi awal model ke posisi tujuan. Kendali CLBF juga berfungsi untuk menghindari unsafe states atau penghalang yang dimiliki oleh model quadcopter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kendali CLBF pada model quadcopter telah berhasil dilakukan. Percobaan model quadcopter menghasilkan nilai rata-rata galat sebesar 0,926% dan berhasil menghindari penghalang dengan rata-rata nilai terdekat terhadap penghalang sebesar 0,079 m. Simulasi menjadi bagian penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi metode kontrol sebelum diterapkan pada real plant. Paper ini membahas implementasi metode Control Laypunov-Barrier Function (CLBF) pada model navigasi mobile robot terhadap sistem navigasi waypoint melalui simulasi Matlab. CLBF merupakan kombinasi metode Control Lyapunov Function (CLF) dan Control Barrier Function (CBF) yang memiliki peran untuk menjaga kestabilan dan menjamin keselamatan pada sistem. Pemberian tiga waypoint sebagai navigasi gerak dari model mobile robot berfungsi untuk mengetahui kestabilan sistem, tiga barrier berbentuk lingkaran untuk area yang harus dihindari, dan unsafe state diberikan supaya model navigasi mobile robot tidak menabak barrier, sehingga sistem dikatakan aman. Simulasi yang dilakukan memperlihatkan model navigasi mobile robot yang mampu bergerak menuju beberapa waypoint dengan menghindari tiga barrier dalam waktu yang berbeda, di antaranya dari initial state ke waypoint pertama membutuhkan waktu 7,43 detik, dari waypoint pertama ke waypoint kedua membutuhkan waktu 5,73 detik, dan dari waypoint kedua ke waypoint ketiga membutuhkan waktu 6,75 detik. Penempatan waypoint, barrier, dan unsafe state terhadap bidang dua dimensi yaitu x1 sebagai koordinat x danx2 sebagai koordinat y. Kata Kunci: control lyapunov-barrier function, simulasi, waypoint

Tenis meja merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga bola kecil yang diminati banyak orang. Dalam latihan tenis meja, seorang pemain akan menggunakan banyak bola sebagai alat latihan. Perlu usaha lebih bagi para pemain yang berlatih untuk mengumpulkan bola-bola yang berserakan setelah latihan. Ada banyak alat yang diciptakan untuk mempermudah pengambilan bola-bola tersebut, namun proses pengambilannya masih manual karena menggunakan tenaga pemain itu sendiri. Untuk meringankan usaha pemain, diperlukan suatu sistem yang otomatis dalam pengumpulan bola tenis meja. Hal itu akan diwujudkan dengan perancangan robot otonom pengumpul bola tenis meja. Robot ini akan menggunakan pengolahan citra dalam pendeteksian bola tenis meja. Proses ini berguna untuk menentukan jarak robot ke bola, dan juga menjadi acuan untuk pembuatan path planning. Robot ini akan mengumpulkan bola tenis meja yang berserakan berdasarkan jalur yang sudah dibuat. Dengan begitu, pemain tidak perlu mengeluarkan usaha lebih untuk mengambil bola-bola yang berserakan. Tingkat akurasi pada penelitian ini dalam pendeteksian bola dan jarak mencapai 80%. Kata Kunci: tenis meja, robot otonom, pengolahan citra

In this paper, we study robustness analysis of systems' safety with respect to external input (or disturbance) signals. To this end, we introduce a new notion of input-to-state safety (ISSf) which allows us to quantify the systems' safety robustness, in the same way as the application of input-to-state stability (ISS) notion for analyzing robustness of systems' stability. In particular, ISSf prescribes the relationship between the evolution of state distance to the unsafe set with the initial conditions and the bounded external input signals. Finally, we discuss how to combine this notion with ISS for analyzing the robustness of both systems' stability and safety.

We propose a novel nonlinear control method for solving the problem of stabilization with guaranteed safety for nonlinear systems. The design is based on the merging of the well-known Control Lyapunov Function (CLF) and the recent concept of Control Barrier Function (CBF). The proposed control method allows us to combine the design of a stabilizing feedback law based on CLF and the design of safety control based on CBF(s); both of which can be designed independently. Our proposed approach can also accommodate the case of multiple CBFs which correspond to multiple different sets of unsafe states. Lastly, the efficacy of the proposed approach is demonstrated in the simulation results on the stabilization of a nonlinear mechanical system and on the navigation of a mobile robot.

The Ability to extract the maximum power of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell is the important issue for optimal design of fuel cell powered system. It is necessary to force the fuel cell to operate in a condition which match up with its maximum power point (MPP). MPP varies nonlinearly with the unpredictable variation in the fuel cell's operation condition. Thus, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller is needed to deliver the maximum possible power to the load when a variation in the operation condition occur. The proposed control system consists of two-loop cascade controller with a DC-DC converter. The outer loop uses extremum seeking control to estimate the real-time MPP, and the inner loop uses that estimated value as a set-point for hysteretic control to force the fuel cell to operate at the estimated MPP by DC-DC boost converter. Extremum seeking control and hysteresis control are implemented on a dSPACE DS1104 controller board. For the experiment setup, small scale energy sources are operated, which is Constructor 50 W 10 A fuel cell. Simulation and experiment shows that this proposed control can achieve satisfactorily the maximum power point of fuel cell.

In this paper, we present a novel notion of input- to-state safety (ISSf) for general nonlinear systems which can be useful for certifying system’s safety under the influence of external bounded input (or disturbance) signals. We provide sufficient conditions for ISSf using barrier function/certificate which are analogous to the input-to-state stability Lyapunov function.
