Background: An intravaginal device (IVD) made from polyethylene plastic and copper wire, integrated with a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip, was developed as a contraceptive and identity device for cats. Aim: This study evaluates the local and systemic biocompatibility of the IVD in five non-pregnant female cats. Methods: The IVD was successfully inserted into the vaginal lumen after estrogen administration. Radiographic imaging confirmed the IVD's position, which lasted up to two days post-insertion. Results: Systemic response, assessed through hematological examinations on days 0, 1, and 3 post-insertion, showed no significant changes in erythrogram and leukogram parameters. Local response, evaluated through vulvar inspection and vaginal cytology on days 0, 1, 3, and 7, revealed no neutrophil infiltration in 4 out of 5 cats, indicating compatibility with vaginal tissue. Furthermore, epithelial cell profile changes were observed, showing an increase in superficial cells, which is typical during the estrus phase. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the IVD is biocompatible and suitable for use as a contraceptive and identity device in cats. However, further long-term studies are necessary to evaluate the device's prolonged efficacy and potential for contraception failure prevention by mating trials. Abstract The application of high‐frequency radar as an instrument for assimilating tsunami‐induced current fields is garnering increasing interest. The performance of surface current velocity measurements depends on the azimuthal differences between the crossing radar beams at the measurement points. This study aimed to incorporate the measurement error distributions of the east‐west and north‐south velocity components into tsunami data assimilation based on an optimal interpolation method, assuming Gaussian noise with the time‐invariant and a uniform standard deviation (STD = 5 cm/s) of radial velocity measurements. Through the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis of radar‐derived surface currents in the Kii Channel, Japan, the velocities reconstructed using higher modes (EOFs 16–274) were associated with measurement errors, portraying nonuniform distribution depending on the crossing beam angle of two radar beams. Based on independent fifteen‐time assimilation experiments for two different tsunami scenarios, for a uniform water depth of 500 m, we observed a significant improvement of up to 29% and 0.9% in the assimilation performance (on average) over the along‐coast stations for scenarios with 1‐ and 5‐m maximum initial sea surface heights, respectively. The measurement errors dependent on the crossing beam angle reduced the error‐induced tsunamis, resulting in stable assimilations, with lower STDs in the fifteen‐time assimilation performances. When the STD of Gaussian noise varies with time, it is important to consider the temporal change in the radial velocity measurement errors and/or noise‐filtering techniques, to maintain a certain level of noise intensity.

This quantitative research presents the classification of marine cadastres in the marine conservation area of Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park. The marine cadastre classes were analyzed for their alignment with the marine management classes/blocks in the Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park using an alignment logical matrix and overlay analysis. The field inventory results identified 7 marine cadastre classes in the marine conservation area of Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park. The alignment classification of marine cadastre classes with the marine management classes/blocks in Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park indicates that the aligned class covers an area of 476.26 hectares (9.07% of 5,247 hectares), the non-aligned class covers 441.08 hectares (8.41% of 5,247 hectares), and the transition class covers 4,329.75 hectares (82.52% of 5,247 hectares). Oral mucositis (OM) is the oral mucosa inflammation caused by an adverse side-effect of cancer therapy and is expressed as atrophy, enlargement, erythema and ulceration. This bibliometric study aimed to review the publication of OM induced by chemotherapy. The search of bibliometric study using Scopus was performed (accessed on 16 July 2023). In total, 521 documents were retrieved from the Scopus database from 1978-2023. About 2680 authors global were encompassed in writing papers. Investigation of the retrieved papers indicated 424 original articles and 59 review articles. The repossessed papers exhibited top 10 cited articles. The study that obtained the highest number of citations was published in the Cancer in 1999 and received 301 citations (1999-2023). The quotation of this paper was nearly 3-fold higher quotation than those the other ten highest cited scientific papers. The top journal in publishing papers related to the OM stimulated by chemotherapy was the Supportive Care in Cancer, with a total number of papers 41, quadruple than others. This investigation showed that the studies on OM have been more noticeable in the last ten years.

Ringkasan Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan perspektif hukum administrasi negara terkait penetapan Matarumah Parentah di Negeri Rumahtiga Kota Ambon. Seperti diketahui Saniri Negeri Rumahtiga sampai saat ini belum melanjutkan proses pembentukan Peraturan Negeri dalam rangka Penetapan Matarumah Parentah, padahal tahapan penetapan sudah dilalui sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Melalui penelitian yuridis normatif didapatkan hasil bahwa sikap Saniri Negeri Rumahtiga merupakan tindakan administrasi pemerintah yang dapat diuji keabsahannya dan dapat dikategorikan sebagai sikap diam Pemerintah serta sebagai tindakan pemerintah berupa keputusan yang mencakup tindakan faktual sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Undang-Undang Administrasi Pemerintahan. The distribution and abundance of fish are strongly influenced by several oceanographic parameters, one of which is chlorophyll-a. Chlorophyll-a is one of the oceanographic parameters that play an important role in primary productivity in the sea. The distribution of chlorophyll-a contained in phytoplankton can be used as a measure of fertility in water. With advances in geographic information systems or remote sensing, the distribution of chlorophyll-a can be used to estimate fish catchment areas. This study aims to look at the distribution of chlorophyll-a in Aceh waters both spatially and temporally to predict fishing locations. This study used satellite imagery combined with a Geographic Information System (GIS) to detect chlorophyll-a’s distribution. The results of satellite image processing show that the average monthly value of chlorophyll-a in Aceh waters ranges from 2.71 – 23.54 mg/m3, areas with high chlorophyll-a are generally located in the western waters of Aceh to the southwestern waters of Aceh, while areas with The lowest chlorophyll-a is generally in areas far from the coast (towards the open sea) with a range of 0.04 – 0.5 mg/m3 where the lowest average occurs in the east monsoon. However, in general, the potential locations for fishing grounds are more in the waters west of Aceh than in the waters north of Aceh, Aceh waters. The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to generate digital data that provides information on the characteristics of an area and describes changes in land cover that can be used in a more effective and efficient sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze the mangrove land cover of the north coast of Aceh Besar over the last three decades, namely 2000, 2010, and 2020 in the Baitussalam sub-district, Mesjid Raya sub-district and Seulimeum sub-district. The research was conducted from June 2022 to September 2022 at the GIS Laboratory, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. The research was conducted using a Geographic Information System (GIS) that utilizes high-resolution satellite imagery from Google Earth Pro. Mangrove land was digitized visually on screen, then data processing was carried out, and spatially analyzed. The results of the analysis of changes in mangrove land cover in the research area show that the Baitussalam and Mesjid Raya sub-districts had a decreasing trend of mangove land between 2000 and 2010 and subsequently there was an increase in mangrove land cover from 2010 to 2020. Meanwhile, Seulimeum sub-district experienced a decreasing trend of land cover in 2000 until 2020. The decline in the trend of mangroves in various places is caused by the growth of the population using mangrove land as residential area. While the increase in mangove land cover was due to the success of reforestation and pond land conversion. The results conclude that the mangrove land cover on the north coast of Aceh Besar is relatively stable with an increasing trend of growth. Traditional games are part of the nation's rich and varied cultural heritage, including the conventional games of Tana Luwu. However, with the development of technology and modern lifestyles, traditional games among millennials in Tana Luwu are being threatened. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the Tana Luwu traditional game among millennials as a national cultural heritage. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The results show that the level of recognition of traditional games is still quite good; some are even known by 90% of the respondents. At the same time, the frequency of young people playing these traditional games is the highest played by young people at 54%. Therefore, more severe and sustainable efforts are still needed to strengthen the Tana Luwu traditional game among millennials as part of the nation's cultural heritage. This can be done through education, development, and appropriate technology to facilitate access and promote the traditional game of Tana Luwu to millennials. The results of this research can contribute to preserving the conventional Tana Luwu game as a national cultural heritage among millennials and using the right technology to facilitate access and promote the traditional game of Tana Luwu to millennials. Sabang waters is one of the centers of capture fisheries production at the tip of the Sumatera Island which has a large potential of fish resources. However, information related to the performance of capture fisheries including fish production, fishing gear, fishing fleet, number of fishermen and fishing areas is still limited. This study aims to analyse and describe information related to capture fisheries performances in the waters of Sabang. Performance data were analysed descriptive quantitatively and obtained by survey method. The results showed that the trend of capture fisheries production tends to increase by 15% annually and catches are dominated by large pelagic fish, namely tuna (Thunnus sp). The type of fishery business is dominated by fishermen who operate vessels measuring 0 - 5 GT (57.9%) with fishing areas between the coast to 2 nautical miles. Fishermen in Sabang Waters are categorized as small businesses. because use small boats and using handlines as fishing gear that aim to meet daily needs, not for business scale. A microtremor survey based on ground surface data acquisition was used to identify and characterize the karst area of Cerme Cave, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from the entrance to the exit of the cave. The entrance and exit of the cave are used as tie-in points because the characteristics of the two locations can be directly observed. Parameters used in this study include ground vibration amplification, shear wave velocity, and Poisson’s ratio. The presence of cavities can be characterized by a relatively strong contrast between these physical parameters and their surroundings. The exit of the cave, which can be considered as a sinkhole, has a dominant frequency of 3.2 to 4.6 Hz, which is relatively higher than that of the surrounding area. At the entrance of Cerme Cave, which has a large cavity, a small ground vibration amplification was detected, less than 0.1. The entrance and exit of the cave also exhibit a low shear wave propagation velocity of less than 350 m/s. The presence of a subsurface fluvial channel in Cerme Cave can be characterized by a high Poisson’s ratio of 0.4–0.5, a gain value of less than 0.1, and a shear wave velocity of less than 350 m/s.

Most of the coastal zones of Aceh Besar are areas of accumulation of organic compounds such as C-Organic and CaCO3. Therefore, studying the distribution of organic carbon and carbonates in sediments in coastal areas is necessary. This study aims to analyze the distribution of C-Organic and Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) coupled with pH and Salinity tests spatially on the surface at a depth of 40 - 60 cm in the coastal area of Aceh Besar District. The C-Organic content was analyzed using the Walkley and Black method, while Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) was analyzed using the Titrimetric method. Soil pH and salinity tests were carried out in situ using a pH meter, and soil salinity tests were tested using a salinometer. The study results show that the distribution of C-Organic and Carbonate content differs in each location in Aceh Besar Coastal area. The distribution of organic carbon and carbonates in the northern part of Aceh Besar, in the Ujong Batee Puteh area, has an average value of 0.86% and 10.28%. While the distribution of C-Organic in the Lamreh area is, on average, 0.44%, and carbonate (CaCO3) is 8.03%. On the other hand, in the western part of Aceh Besar, the distribution C-Organic in the Ujong Pancu area is, on average, 2.83%, and carbonate (CaCO3) is 8.05%. The distribution of C-Organic in the Lhok Seudu area has an average value of 1.07% and carbonate (CaCO3) of 9.65%. The results also reveal the fact that there are 3 (three) factors that influence the distribution of C-Organic and CaCO3. These factors are the topographic location that allows the material to be eroded due to runoff, vegetation that enriches organic matter composition, and the depositional environment. The results of the pH distribution test in soil showed that the pH in the coastal area of Aceh Besar is relatively alkaline, and the salinity distribution is relatively low, indicating the absence of seawater intrusion and salt deposits. Further studies need to be carried out for other depth variations to obtain more comprehensive results of other distributions.

Most of the coastal areas of Aceh Besar are areas of accumulation of organic compounds, one of which is Organic Carbon (OC). The purpose of this study was to analyze the chemical content by looking vertically at the content of OC, soil pH and Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) on the coast of Aceh Besar District. Analysis of the OC content using the Walkley and Black method, while to analyze the Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) using the Titrimetric method. Especially for the analysis of soil pH, only use a pH meter. The results showed that each station had different levels of OC and carbonate. Generally, the presence of OC decreases with depth, while the carbonate content varies. Especially for soil pH, the pH is relative to the alkaline state for each depth. The range of OC content for all stations is 0.18 – 2.48%, Carbonate 5.36 – 13.27% and pH 6.37-8.73. Keywords: Coastal Organic Carbon Carbonate Soil pH

This study aims to produce an applicable Sumbawa local wisdom-based mathematics module for elementary school students by using the Four-D (4D) development research design from Thiagarajan. However, the development design of this module only includes three steps, namely define, design, and develop. The product feasibility test is only on the aspect of validity. Observation, interviews, and questionnaires were used to collect the data. The defined stage resulted in the formulation of the material, including the KPK, FPB, Fractions, Two-dimensional Shapes, and three-dimensional Geometry. A draft was created by emerging the elements of Sumbawa local wisdom in the materials, which is then validated at the design stage. The average validation results of material experts were 91.678%, linguists 90%, and media experts were 91.15%. The average validation result of the three specs is 90.94%, categorized as very valid, which confirms that the module is valid and suitable for elementary school students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul matematika berbasis kearifan lokal Sumbawa yang valid untuk siswa sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan Four-D (4D) dari Thiagarajan. Namun, desain pengembangan modul ini hanya meliputi tiga langkah yaitu define, design, dan develop. Pada tahap develop, uji kelayakan produk hanya pada aspek kevalidan. Teknik pengambilan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian pada tahap define yaitu perumusan materi yang meliputi KPK, FPB, pecahan, bangun datar dan bangun ruang. Hasil penelitian pada tahap design yaitu memunculkan unsur kearifan lokal Sumbawa pada materi sehingga menghasilkan draf modul matematika berbasis kearifan lokal Sumbawa untuk divalidasi. Hasil validasi diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil validasi ahli materi 91.67%, ahli bahasa 90% dan ahli media 91.15%. Rata-rata hasil validasi ketiga spek yaitu 90.94% dan dikategorikan sangat valid, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul matematika berbasis kearifan lokal Sumbawa dikatakan sangat valid dan layak digunakan oleh siswa sekolah dasar.

Contaminants from microplastics in the soil can pose a huge and potential risk to global ecological systems. Microplastic contaminants have become an issue since the source and potential risks have gained a point of great concern. This problem is due to the lack of a comprehensive and systematic analysis system for microplastics. Thus, a comprehensive review of microplastic knowledge is carried out to detect its potential risks, occurrences, sources, and characteristics. The study results show that microplastics have been found everywhere, as shown in the global matrix. However, with the advancement of increasingly sophisticated technology, the microplastics found in the soil can be reduced. The difficulties of analytical systems inherent in particles in even complex matrices can be overcome with technology. Research on the distribution and emergence of microplastics is still very slow in several countries, including Indonesia, the United States, and Africa. The composition and characteristics of microplastics in soil and the environment shows their consistency still indicates a change in source. Microplastics in the soil have extensive and diverse sources, leading to high accumulation. This study also discusses the potential risks and effects of microplastics on soil ecosystems. The interaction and combination of contaminants from adsorbed microplastics can lead to soil fertility and migration systems in the food chain. The impact of microplastics on soil depends on chemical components, natural factors, and morphology. Thus, regional quantification and estimation of emissions from microplastics have a huge gap. In addition, the concentration of microplastics and the masking of microplastics to store carbon in the soil can be influenced by natural factors and require various efforts.

Marine fish have been decreasing in abundance over the last few decades due to environmental destruction and human exploitation. The aim of this study was to produce an inventory of the fish in Pusong Bay, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, Indonesia by means of an exploratory survey of the area. The data was analysed descriptively using tables and graphs. A total of 71 species of fish were identified belonging to 54 genera, 37 families and 15 orders. Fish belonging to the Perciformes dominated the area with 33 species or 46.48% of the total number of fish identified. Based on the IUCN red list status, 62% of the species recorded in this study are categorized as of Least Concern, 35% Not Evaluated and 3% Data Deficient. Based on CITES, 71 species of the fish in Pusong Bay are categorized as Not Evaluated. Current data on these fish is important for future evaluations of their status.

The fishing port has an important role in supporting activities in the fishery sector which includes serving as a place of preparation, and where to land catches as well as market them. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the level of facilities utilization at CFP Bajomulyo using SOAR and assign the development strategy. The research was carried out in January 2021 at the Coastal fishing port in Bajomulyo Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency. A descriptive method was used to analyze the condition of basic, functional and supporting facilities at CFP Bajomulyo. Data collection was carried out using survey methods and direct observations. The result showed 116% of the pier has been used (overutilized), 26% of the FAP building has been used (non-optimally), 36% of the shipping lane’s depth has been used, meaning the depth is sufficient or in accordance with the required standard, and 49% of its width has been used (non-optimally). Conclusively, the development strategies suggested include making an MoU between the government of Pati Regency and Central Java Province and always considering the availability of FRS facilities, ice factories, clean water, and ship docking around CFP Bajomulyo. Heavy metal pollution is one of the problems that often occurs in Indonesian coastal waters. Comparative methods of looking at heavy metal content in coastal sediments include a way to show similarities and differences between one or more articles by using certain criteria. Different comparison methods to see the heavy metal content in sediments include the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) method, AAN (Netron Activation Analysis), Regression, and USEPA methods. Based on the comparison of 2 methods, namely: AAS and AAN methods, the most efficient in analyzing heavy metals in sediments in coastal areas is the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method compared to the Neutron Activation Analysis (AAS) method. Kecamatan Sampoiniet dan Setiabakti Kabupaten Aceh Jaya merupakan daerah yang dilanda Gempa dan Tsunami pada 26 Desember 2004. Dampak dari Tsunami telah mengubah geomorfologi pada sebagian wilayah pesisir Kecamatan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis dan membandingkan perubahan garis pantai berdasarkan data citra satelit secara multi temporal memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) info pada tahun sebelum Tsunami yaitu Tahun 2004 dan tahun setelah Tsunami yaitu Tahun 2008 dan 2017. Dampak kerusakan akibat dari Tsunami terutama terjadi pada kawasan pesisir. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Deskriptif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data citra pada periode yang berbeda pada tahun 2004, 2008 dan 2017. Wilayah kajian meliputi kawasan pantai yaitu kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Sampoiniet dan Kecamatan Setiabakti. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengamati perubahan panjang garis pantai secara multitemporal yaitu pada tahun 2004, 2008 dan 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pebubahan Panjang garis pantai dari Tahun 2004 yaitu 50,42 km, menjadi 54,68 km pada tahun 2008 dan bertambah menjadi 55,30 km pada tahun 2017.

The purpose of this study is to find out what is meant by the President and/or Vice President committing a disgraceful act in the concept of criminal law, so that they can be impeached. By using normative legal research and approaches to legal concepts, laws and their history. The results of the research are as follows: First, all actions that are contrary to the Criminal Code are disgraceful acts for the President/Vice President; Second, the religious values, social culture of the Indonesian nation, as well as moral principles in the Criminal Code have been compiled in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, therefore any deviation from the behavior of the President/Vice President against the 1945 Constitution is a despicable act; Third, all disgraceful acts of the President/Vice President that violate criminal law offenses are subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with the Criminal Code, so that disgraceful acts that have been formally regulated in the Criminal Code are not the meaning of disgraceful acts as referred to in Article 7A of the 1945 Constitution, because the limitations of criminal acts have been determined can impeach the President/Vice President, namely: corruption, bribery, and other serious crimes; Fourth, the disgraceful act of the President/Vice President in Article 7A of the 1945 Constitution is an act of violating the 1945 Constitution as a reference to the rules of criminal law.

The availability of accurate land data is useful in planning, policymaking, regional development, and preserving the environment. Banda Aceh is the center of education and development in Aceh, Indonesia, which is located in the coastal area. The tsunami has had a significant impact on development and settlements in Banda Aceh. Currently, settlements in Banda Aceh rapidly grow also the need for land and water resources. Therefore, mapping the potential for residential land in Banda Aceh is required. This study examines land suitability in Banda Aceh based on the FAO salinity criteria and spatial data analysis by remote sensing methods. Based on the results, it is known that Banda Aceh has land suitable for settlement of around 85% or 2975 hectares. These areas are generally located close to watersheds and receive sufficient freshwater input. Meanwhile, areas far from rivers and close to the coast have brackish salinity. This area is not suitable as a residential area. There are about three sub-districts in Banda Aceh which are not suitable for settlement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media dan bahan ajar interaktif “Scan It†berbasis Geogebra. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kelas  yaitu untuk uji coba, eksperimen, dan kontrol. Desain penelitian ini adalah Desain penelitian Nonrandomized Control Group, Pretest-Postest Desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah media dan bahan ajar interaktif “Scan It†berbasis geogebra valid, praktis, dan efektif. Peserta didik yang menunjukkan respon positif adalah sebanyak 96%. Sebanyak 58,3% peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kemampuan keruangan sedang dan 33,3% peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kemampuan keruangan tinggi. The research aims was to describe the process of developing media and interactive teaching materials "Scan It" based on Geogebra. This research was a development research. The development model used is the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMK. This study used three classes, namely for trials, experiments, and controls. The research design was a nonrandomized control group research design, pretest-posttest design. The results of this research were media and interactive teaching materials "Scan It" based on geogebra, which were valid, practical, and effective. Students who showed a positive response were 96%. As many as 58.3% of students experienced an increase in moderate spatial abilities and 33.3% of students experienced an increase in high spatial abilities.

Kajian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis deskrptif terhadap beberapa ayat yang memiliki perbedaan qiraat, kemudian menganalisis dampak dan fungsi dari perbedaan tersebut. Dengan demikian studi pustaka menjadi pendekatan dalam penelitin ini. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan pola sistematis berkaitan dengan peran perbedaan qiraat terhadap penafsiran. Setidaknya ada sepuluh pola yang mengungkap peran penting qiraat dalam penafsiran. Pertama, al-takhyīr (pilihan); Kedua, bayān al-lafẓ al-garīb aw al-mubhām (menjelaskan lafal asing dan yang bermakna samar); Ketiga, sabab wa musabbab (sebab-akibat); Keempat, ishārah laṭīfah (indikasi yang tersirat); Kelima, amm wa khash (umum dan khusus); keenam, al-tanawwu fī al-ibādah (keanekaragaman dalam beribadah); Ketujuh, al-tanawwu fī al-syarṭ (keanekaragaman dalam syarat wajib sebuah ibadah); Kedelapan, al-tanawwu fī al-ḥāl (keanekaragaman keadaan); Kesembilan, yufasissiru baḍuhu ala baḍ (membantu menafsirkan); Kesepuluh, ikhtilaf fī mas`alat al-kalām (perbedaan aspek teologi Islam). Kesepuluh pola tersebut secara umum menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dari perbedaan qiraat terhadap penafsiran Alquran

Seawater intrusion promotes the degradation of groundwater quality through excessive pumping activities or natural phenomena such as tidal floods which are popular with coastal areas. Pekalongan city is one of the areas affected by this phenomenon and was analyzed in this study with reference to the 1986 Ad Hoc Sea Water Intrusion (PAHIAA) Decree which classifies water into five based on salinity. This involved using the Integrated Distance Method (IDW) to map and applying the logarithmic equation to determine the dispersion relationship. The results showed seawater intrusion has already affected groundwater quality up to 6.52 km from the coastline for total dissolved solids and electrical conductivity and 7.22 km for chloride ion. The distribution of TDS, EC, and Cl- in the freshwater zone was also recorded to have reached 28.59 km2, 28.36 km2, and 23.95 km2 respectively. It is predicted that in 4 years, there would no longer be freshwater in Padukuhan Kraton Village due to decreasing groundwater quality caused by seawater intrusion. Furthermore, 23.03 km2 Pekalongan area which spread into 4.34 km2 to the West, 0 km2 to the South, 14.39 km2 to the North, and 1.28 km2 to the East of the district has also been affected and was discovered to be caused mainly by tidal flood from Bremi and Tirto rivers.

Orientasi tujuan merupakan aspek penting dalam perkuliahan di setiap mata kuliah. Mahasiswa dengan orientasi tujuan penguasaan memandang kesuksesan sebagai suatu peningkatan kemampuan dalam diri, sedangkan mahasiswa dengan orientasi tujuan performansi memandang kesuksesan melalui perbandingan dengan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Aljabar Linier berdasarkan orientasi tujuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 19 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan angket. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data prestasi matematika mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Aljabar Linier. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes berjenis uraian materi Aljabar Linier. Adapun angket digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan mahasiswa yang memiliki orientasi tujuan penguasaan dan performansi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t pihak kanan. Uji ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah mahasiswa dengan orientasi penguasaan memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dari mahasiswa yang berorientasi performansi? Atau sebaliknya. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki orientasi penguasaan memiliki rata-rata 83,1, sedangkan mahasiswa dengan orientasi performansi memiliki nilai rata-rata prestasi belajara sebesar 80,7. Hasil analisis data dengan uji-t pihak kanan menunjukkan bahwa dengan kesimpulan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara mahasiswa yang berorientasi tujuan penguasaan dengan mahasiswa yang berorientasi tujuan performansi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi tujuan mahasiswa dalam belajar pada mata kuliah Aljabar linier tidak mempunyai pengaruh siginifikan terhadap prestasi matematika pada mata kuliah Aljabar Linier.

Abstract. Research on analysis of sediments chemistry around the mangrove ecosystem of Lambadeuk village, Peukan Bada Subdistrict aimed to the analyze nutrient content of sediments around mangrove ecosystem which grows in Lambadeuk, Aceh Besar. The study was conducted in April 2018 - May 2019. Research stations were determined by using purposive random sampling method then sediment samples were taken by coring technic. The results of the analysis showed that there are two types of sediments; muddy sand and sandy mud type of sediment. Sandy mud sediment has higher organic matter than muddy sand. The percentage value of total organic matters ranged from 27.89% - 42.41%, while C-Organic was between 0.08% - 1.28%. The percentage of dominant C-organic was found in places that are overgrown with mangroves, while the total organic matter content is more in places that does not have mangroves. In addition to the presence of mangroves that affect the amount of organic sediment and type of sediment, oceanographic factors such as currents, topography, organic matter content, and C-Organic are also affect the type of existing sediment. Penelitian mengenai analisis kimia sedimen di sekitar ekosistem mangrove Desa Lambadeuk, Kecamatan Peukan Bada bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan unsur hara sedimen di sekitar ekosistem mangrove yang tumbuh di daerah Lambadeuk, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April – Mei 2019. Metode penentuan stasiun penelitian menggunakan metode purposive random sampling kemudian sampel sedimen diambil dengan menggunakan coring. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tipe sedimen yang ada di Desa Lambadeuk, Kecamatan Peukan Bada terdapat dua tipe sedimen yaitu pasir berlumpur (muddy sand) dan lumpur berpasir (sandy mud). Tipe sedimen lumpur berpasir memiliki kandungan bahan organik lebih tinggi daripada pasir berlumpur. Nilai persentase kandungan bahan organik total berkisar yaitu berkisar antara 27,89 % - 42,41 %, sedangkan C-organik berkisar antara 0,08 % - 1,28 %. Persentase C-organik lebih banyak terdapat di tempat yang banyak ditumbuhi mangrove, sedangkan kandungan bahan organik total lebih banyak di tempat yang tidak ditumbuhi mangrove sama sekali. Disamping keberadaan mangrove yang mempengaruhi besarnya bahan organic sedimen, faktor-faktor oseanografi seperti arus, topografi, kandungan bahan organik, dan C-organik juga mempengauhi tipe sedimen yang ada. The change in land use and land cover in upstream watersheds will change the features of drainage systems such that they will impact surface overflow and affect the infiltration capacity of a land surface, which is one of the factors that contributes to flooding. The key objective of this study is to identify vulnerable areas of flooding and to assess the causes of flooding using ground-based measurement, remote sensing data, and GIS-based flood risk mapping approaches for the flood hazard mapping of the Teunom watershed. The purposes of this investigation were to: (1) examine the level and characteristics of land use and land cover changes that occurred in the area between 2009 and 2019; (2) determine the impact of land use and land cover changes on the water overflow and infiltration capacity; and (3) produce flood risk maps for the Teunom sub-district. Landsat imagery of 2009, 2013, and 2019; slope maps; and field measurement soil characteristics data were utilized for this study. The results show a significant increase in the use of residential land, open land, rice fields, and wetlands (water bodies) and different infiltration rates that contribute to the variation of flood zone hazards. The Teunom watershed has a high and very high risk of ~11.98% of the total area, a moderate risk of 56.24%, and a low and very low risk of ~31.79%. The Teunom watershed generally has a high flood risk, with a total of ~68% of the area (moderate to very high risk). There was a substantial reduction in forest land, agricultural land, and shrubs from 2009 to 2019. Therefore, the segmentation of flood-risk zones is essential for preparation in the region. The study offers basic information about flood hazard areas for central governments, local governments, NGOs, and communities to intervene in preparedness, responses, and flood mitigation and recovery processes, respectively.

Village head election must be continuously developed and adapted to the development of the community in the village. The Indonesian nation has stated clearly in the constitution of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the fourth paragraph which is the purpose of national and state life "...... protecting the whole Indonesian nation and the entire Indonesian blood sphere, and to promote general welfare, educating the life of the nation ". In 2017, 28 Nagari in Agam District will carry out the election of Head/Village Guard/Nagari. The elections will be held on 16, 19, 22, 25 and 29 July 2017, with a total of 128,000 voters, with an E-voting system. Through the e-voting system in the selection of Wali Nagari (Pilwana) it has made it easier for the villagers/nagari in choosing, and the potential for cheating is less than the paper voting system.

The purpose of this study was to determine how vulnerable the west coast of Aceh Besar, Aceh province, Indonesia, is in terms of its coastal morphology. This research was conducted from August to December 2020 and data processing was carried out at the Geographical Information Systems Laboratory, Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. The method used was the coastal vulnerability index (CVI) with four geological parameters, namely geomorphological parameters, beach elevation, beach slope and shoreline changes. The results obtained from the CVI method show that 20.60% of the west coast of Aceh Besar, which has a total coastline length of 93.2 km, is in the very high vulnerability category (19.2 km), while 23.18% (21.6 km) is in the high vulnerability category, 8.80% (8.2 km) in the moderate category, 6.44% (6 km) in the low category and 40.99% (38.2 km) in the very low category. Sub-districts classified as having very high vulnerability are Peukanbada (7.94%), Leupung (6.22%), Lhoong (4.94%), and Lhoknga (1.50%). The geomorphology of areas that have very high vulnerability is generally in the form of sandy beaches with a very gentle slope, while, geomorphologically, areas that have very low vulnerability have a high elevation and cliff beaches.

This research studied the characteristic of bed sediment in the estuary of Krueng Cut, Banda Aceh. Analyzing the field samples from different site of stations along the channel from upstream to estuary shows different pattern and profile of deposited bed sediment. Therefore, sorting the size of sediment is important spatially because pattern of its deposition and characteristic will illustrate how distribution patterns indicate the nature of the channel. Hence, the study aims to determain the pattern of bed sediment distribution as well as its profile spatially. To implement the intended purpose, the coring method was employed by using purposive random sampling for 15 stations of taken sampling. The sample of sediment was proceeded by using a 2,5 cm diameter of PVC paralon at the depth of 25 cm from the bathymetry base. Sample was analyzed using wet sieve analysis method. The result informed that the dominant of bed sediment size are medium sand found around the mouth of the river, fine sand existed along the mixing area, and very fine sand occurred in the transition zone. Inthe region of coastal dynamic, the sediment was dominated by medium sand size, meanwhile in the area of river dominated flow, the sediment is subject to fine sand size.Thus, the fraction of very fine sand size of sediment was found in the zona of transition.

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate tax avoidance to the corporate cash holdings. Recent tax avoidance research found that tax avoidance is able to facilitate managerial rent extraction in the form of transfer of resources owned by the company. This study attempts to test how the relationship of tax avoidance with the amount of cash held by the company. The sample consists of 46 non-financial, non-property, non-real estate and non-construction companies from 2009-2016, with a total 368 observations. The study uses two different cash holdings measures to test the robustness of the research results. This study cannot find evidence that tax avoidance have a significant relationship to the level of cash holdings in public companies in Indonesia. Both measurements of cash holdings gave the same conclusions to the results of the study. This study provides an insight that agency theory in the context of tax avoidance and corporate cash holdings in developing countries such as Indonesia needs to be explored further as the agency conflict in Indonesia as a developing country is more principal-principal conflicts.

Analysis of BOD and COD has been done at estuary of Cut River in Alue Naga Village from March to April 2017. The purpose of this research was to analysis the water quality in Krueng Cut estuarial area, which is compared to the Government Regulation No. 82/2001. The method used in this research is field survey by employing purposive sampling method and laboratory analysis to the samples obtained in the field.The BOD, COD, DO, nitrate, nitrate was tested at Laboratory of Chemistry, Faculty of Marine and Fishery of Syiah Kuala University by applyingspectrophotometric method using Filterfotometer PF-11. The results showed that the highest concentration of BOD and COD was at station 3 where the mixing region occurred because the freshwater from river uphill meets with salt-water from the ocean, and the lowest BOD and COD concentration was at station 7 whichis the mouth of the estuary. The results obtained that water quality in Krueng Cut waters based on Government Regulation of water quality no. 82/2001 on the water quality categorized as a class III water quality, which is the water that can be used only for the function of fishery cultivation. Analisa BOD dan COD telah dilakukan di perairan Krueng Cut Desa Alue Naga yang dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan April 2017. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air di perairan Krueng Cut Desa Alue Nagayang dibandingkan dengan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) nomor 82 Tahun 2001.Metoda yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey lapangan dengan metode purposive sampling dan analisa laboratorium terhadap sampel yang diperoleh di lapangan untuk uji BOD, COD, DO, nitrat, nitrit di Laboratorium Kimia Laut Fakultas Kelautan dan Perikanan Universitas Syiah Kualadengan metoda Spektofotometri Filterfotometer PF-11. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi BOD dan COD tertinggi berada pada stasiun 3 yaitu daerah sirkulasi arus (pertemuan antara arus air tawar dan air asin), dan konsentrasi BOD dan COD terendah berada di stasiun 7 yang merupakan daerah mulut estuari. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kualitas air di perairan Krueng Cut berdasarkanPeraturan Pemerintah No. 82 Tahun 2001 tentang kualitas air baku mutu dikatagorikan sebagai kualitas air kelas III yaitu air yang dapat digunakan hanya untuk fungsi pembudidayaan perikanan.

Gunungkidul Regency is one of five regencies in Yogyakarta Province which is rich of natural tourism destination objects. Each tourism object has its own potential and characteristic that distinguishes one with other tourism objects. However, the tourism potency have not been exposed to public properly, and the local government has not sufficiently use the data of visitors as the basis for planning and development of tourism objects in Gunungkidul Regency. This research tries to evaluate the use of BIG DATA, especially social media data, to analyze the tourism potency based on the public opinions and visits. For this purpose, Instagram data was utilized as the main data for the analysis. The data was collected between December 18, 2017 to February 3, 2018 using Instagram API. The data then was pre-processed to clear or filter the duplication data, to filter the data based on selective location or study area namely Gunungkidul Regency, as well as to filter the data which match with the topic of the research namely “tourism”. Some analysis then were conducted, namely spatial analysis, statistical analysis, and caption analysis. The spatial and statistical analysis were aimed to find spatial pattern of tourists visits at several locations in the form of spatial density of each tourism destinations with respect to temporal aspect. Analysis of captions is done by filtering Instagram data by using some keywords that can indicate tourism potency. Data was visualized using Carto Builder. Results show that some effort is needed to utilize the Instagram data for this purpose. The data is efficient and effective to be used to visualize spatial-temporal pattern of visitors at tourism destinations, as well as to understand tourism destinations objects potency in Gunungkidul Regency. However, this analysis cannot be done in realtime due to a limitation in collecting data from Instagram API.

Dynamic interaction between waves and topographic generate flow dynamics that affect Lhonga coast, Aceh Besar. To analyze the dynamics, the numerical model of currents induced by wave was developed with the explicit finite difference approach method. The model in this study was tested by verifying the result directly with the field data obtained previously. The model is applied in Lhoknga coast of Aceh Besar district with the aim to study how the dynamics of hydro-oceanography as one of the elements to support the preservation of the marine resources of the area. Based on the simulation, the results obtained that the wave occurred in Lhoknga beach relatively small with the dominant direction to the northwest and the maximum of wave height occurs during the high tide condition. The result also informed that the distribution of longshore currents is generally moving from west to east along the coast. The direction of dominant current occurs in the area of 10-15 meters from the shore with an average depth of 6 meters. Keywords: wave flow, flow dynamics, beach, hydro-oceanography

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan enceng gondok terfermentasi terhadap bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase karkas, non-karkas, dan lemak abdominal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola searah. Perlakuan meliputi: P0 (ransum basal); P1 (ransum basal + 2,5% enceng gondok terfermentasi); P2 (ransum basal + 5% enceng gondok terfermentasi); P3 (ransum basal + 7,5% enceng gondok terfermentasi); dan P4 (ransum basal + 10% enceng gondok terfermentasi). Hasil penelitian dari kelima perlakuan diperoleh nilai rerata bobot potong 1261,97 g; persentase karkas 53,22%; persentase sayap 16,03%; paha 28,68%; dada 20,58%, dan punggung 24,71%. Rerata persentase non-karkas berturut – turut adalah kepala 15,22%; kaki 2,68%; hati 2,21%; jantung 0,72%; empedal 4,74%; dan lemak abdominal 0,63%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan enceng gondok terfermentasi dalam ransum sampai tingkat 10% tidak berpengaruh terhadap bobot potong, persentase karkas, non-karkas, dan lemak abdominal itik lokal jantan umur delapan minggu. Abstract: The concept of integration in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) not only between religion and science, but also inter-component management, teaching, and personal development. The goal is to produce graduates who are intelligent, faithful and devoted, and able to compete. However, problems of madrasa education in general and specifically MI is still confined to the graduates who are not scientists nor a scholar. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the role of self-development component for students in basic education since or Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. Model of self-development is the most appropriate approach to the development of integrative models-a comprehensive, unified meaning and guidance services are integrated with KBM to develop the potential of learners in a comprehensive manner. It is even stronger with the publication of the 2013 curriculum adopts a thematic-integrative. Referring to the basic strength of the curriculum in 2013 and the model with keterapaduan program guidance, energy, engineering and support system and its operation, the purpose of education to develop the whole person will be more easily achieved. Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative brain condition that causes progressive decline in several aspects. Starting from memory, cognitive or thinking abilities, speaking abilities, and behavior. Currently, Alzheimer's diagnosis uses some methods, such as blood tests, scanning with computerized tomography scan (CT scan), or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). As a reference for determining the level of severity, doctors usually use clinical dementia rating (CDR). CDR is a numerical scale used to measure the severity of dementia symptoms. The doctor will manually compare the patient's condition with those stated on the CDR. This condition will take quite a long time, and sometimes human error will occur. As technology and science develop, doctors can assist in manually detecting Alzheimer's using classification algorithms. Many methods can be used to classify, including the CDR support vector machine (SVM) method. Unfortunately, this method is usually only used to classify two classes. This technology allows the classification process to be carried out automatically and quickly. On the other hand, when using CDR to classify Alzheimer's severity, there are several scales, not just two classes. So, in this research, we modified the use of SVM to classify three levels of severity, namely scale 0 for normal, scale 1 for mild conditions, and scale 2 for moderate conditions. This preliminary study evaluated the biocompatibility of a novel degradable intravaginal plug contraceptive composed of PEG 4000 and chitosan in cats using haematological profiling and vaginal cytology. Five healthy, non‐pregnant female cats were fully anaesthetised and fitted with an intravaginal plug (10 × 0.3 mm) using an applicator, following oestrogen administration 3 h prior. Blood samples were collected from the cephalic vein on days 0 (pre‐insertion) and 3 and 7 (post‐insertion). Vaginal cytology examinations were conducted on day 0 (pre‐ and post‐oestrogen injection) and days 1, 3 and 7 post‐insertion. Haematological parameters, including red blood cell count, haemoglobin levels, haematocrit values, total white blood cell count and differentiation, showed no significant changes after contraceptive insertion (p > 0.05). Vaginal cytology indicated an acute inflammatory response in one out of five subjects on day three post‐insertion. The distribution of vaginal epithelial cells (parabasal, intermediate and superficial) remained unaffected by contraception. Oestrogen injection resulted in the dominance of superficial cells up to day 7 of observation (p < 0.05). Overall, PEG 4000 and chitosan‐based intravaginal plug contraceptives demonstrated sufficient biocompatibility, indicating their potential as viable contraceptive options for feline use. The application of high‐frequency radar as an instrument for assimilating tsunami‐induced current fields is garnering increasing interest. The performance of surface current velocity measurements depends on the azimuthal differences between the crossing radar beams at the measurement points. This study aimed to incorporate the measurement error distributions of the east‐west and north‐south velocity components into tsunami data assimilation based on an optimal interpolation method, assuming Gaussian noise with the time‐invariant and a uniform standard deviation (STD = 5 cm/s) of radial velocity measurements. Through the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis of radar‐derived surface currents in the Kii Channel, Japan, the velocities reconstructed using higher modes (EOFs 16–274) were associated with measurement errors, portraying nonuniform distribution depending on the crossing beam angle of two radar beams. Based on independent fifteen‐time assimilation experiments for two different tsunami scenarios, for a uniform water depth of 500 m, we observed a significant improvement of up to 29% and 0.9% in the assimilation performance (on average) over the along‐coast stations for scenarios with 1‐ and 5‐m maximum initial sea surface heights, respectively. The measurement errors dependent on the crossing beam angle reduced the error‐induced tsunamis, resulting in stable assimilations, with lower STDs in the fifteen‐time assimilation performances. When the STD of Gaussian noise varies with time, it is important to consider the temporal change in the radial velocity measurement errors and/or noise‐filtering techniques, to maintain a certain level of noise intensity. Plain Language Summary: High‐frequency radar is valuable for monitoring tsunamis as it measures tsunami‐induced surface current velocities, not the tsunami height, which is crucial for tsunami evacuation. In this study, we estimated a reasonable tsunami wave height using a data assimilation method incorporating high‐frequency radar measurements with tsunami numerical simulation. To minimize the adverse effects of high‐frequency radar measurement errors and obtain accurate tsunami wave heights, it is essential to estimate the errors appropriately, especially considering their dependency on the radar beam angle. We estimated the beam angle‐dependent errors through a principal component analysis and integrated them into the assimilation process. By doing so, we successfully reproduced the tsunami wave heights, demonstrating an improvement over estimations made under the assumption of constant errors and mitigating the negative impact of measurement errors. Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a highly prevalent disease in Malaysia. Early identification using cost-effective methods such as chest radiography can reduce the health burden of a TB epidemic. However, normal chest radiographic findings are common. This study aimed to evaluate the characteristics of smear-positive pulmonary TB with normal chest radiographic findings during an outbreak. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted by reviewing the medical records of 56 pulmonary TB cases registered at Kodiang Health Clinic from April to October 2022. Smear-negative and extrapulmonary TB cases were excluded. Relevant information was extracted from the medical records and recorded in a case report form for data management and analysis. Results: Approximately 60.7% of the cases had symptoms lasting >2 weeks, and 89.3% showed abnormal findings upon clinical examination. Additionally, 73.2% had sputum acid-fast bacilli counts of ≥1+, and the sputum Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture and sensitivity test findings were positive in 82.1% of the cases. The proportion of smear-positive pulmonary TB with normal chest radiographic findings was 42.9%. The factors associated with smear-positive pulmonary TB with normal chest radiographic findings included being under 18 years old (P=0.021), being a student (P=0.010), being single (P=0.012) and being asymptomatic (P=0.04). Conclusion: Normal chest radiographic findings may lead to a misdiagnosis of smear-positive pulmonary TB, especially during an outbreak. Therefore, active case detection among close contacts with risk factors for normal radiographic findings should consider additional supportive tests. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
