Desa Slampar Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang, sebuah desa yang sebagian besar penduduknya mempunyai pekerjaan sebagai peternak sapi dan bertani atau bekerja di kebun. Penduduk desa banyak yang menanam kopi jenis arabika, kopi arabika menjadi pilihan karena aroma dan rasanya dianggap enak. Ibu Siti Khoiriyah sebagai mitra dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini mempunyai usaha mengolah kopi bubuk kulit. Proses pengolahan kopi bubuk kulit masih tradisional dan berbeda dengan pada umumnya, karena kopi arabika yang diolah menjadi kopi bubuk di sangrai beserta kulit kopi dengan abu tanah atau pasir, setelah itu baru di sangrai lagi untuk menghilangkan debu dengan alat sangrai dari tong bekas. Tujuan pengabdian ini, untuk mengkoreksi alat sangrai untuk menghilangkan abu sebelum kopi akan di giling. Hal ini dilakukan agar hasil kopi bubuk kulit lebih layak dan heiginis. Metode pelaksanaan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu: diskusi dengan mitra untuk penyelesaian masalah alat sangrai yang diinginkan; membuatkan desain alat sangrai manual; membuat alat ke bengkel; melakukan uji coba alat; menghitung efisiensi alat. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat antara lain: alat sangrai dibuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan produksi yaitu sebayak 10 kg. Pemakaian gas LPG lebih irit, sebelumnya dalam satu bulan untuk 12 kali produksi dibutuhkan gas LPG sebanyak 2 tabung, setelah menggunakan alat sangrai roasting dari steinless hanya 1 tabung saja. Hasil sangrai kopi kulit lebih rata dan waktu yang diperlukan lebih cepat, semula untuk 10 kg kopi perlu waktu 1 jam, sekarang bisa 1/2 jam saja.

PAUD merupakan sarana bagi anak usia dini dalam menimba ilmu. Media pembelajaran sebagai sarana untuk mengenalkan berbagai ilmu pengetahuan bagi anak usia dini dan melatih motoric halus. Media pembelajaran yang baik menjadi ketertarikan anak usia dini dalam belajar. Keterbatasan media belajar menjadi masalah bagi PAUD. Pengabdian dengan membuatkan media belajar yang mampu menarik sangat dibutuhkan. Metode pelaksanaan dengan membuat disain alat peraga edukatif bermain cerdas (BCD’s) dan buku sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Hasil pemanfaatan alat peraga edukatif BCD’s sangat efektif bagi anak usia dini dengan hasil 4,6 menit untuk mengenal garis, 5 menit untuk mengenal bentuk geometri, 5,8 menit untuk mengenal angka, 11,4 menit untuk mengenal tanaman, 13,6 menit untuk penjumlahan, 14,9 menit untuk pengurangan dan 15 menit untuk menyambung huruf menjadi sebuah kata.

This study aimed to enhance the properties of aluminium-silicon (Al-Si) alloys by adding zinc oxide as a reinforcing material. This study was a type of pre-experimental design called the one-shot case study, in which sample groups subjects were given treatments and then observed. The steps included melting the aluminium-silicon in a furnace at 900° C, adding a certain amount of zinc oxide (0.05%, 0.1%, or 0.2%), stirring the mixture for 1 minute, and pouring it into a permanent mould. Results showed that, among the three specimens, the specimen reinforced with 0.2% zinc oxide had the highest tensile strength of 23.9 kg/mm2, the greatest hardness of 134.4 HV, and a flat surface with evenly distributed grains and more brittle fracture.

Iron oxide has been the interest of many studies due to its applications in various scientific and industrial fields including in environment, corrosion, soil science, and exhaust emissions. Iron oxide (Fe2O3) has potential applications in catalytic reactions in electronic devices such as semiconductors, paint formulations, and lithium rechargeable batteries. Fe2O3 can be synthesized through the process of stirring, decomposition of organic iron, sol-gel, combustion, and evaporating solvents. Most of the methods used involve several steps and take a long time. The aim of this research was to investigate the phase and morphology characterization of iron oxide (Fe2O3) powder with solvent ethylene glycol after being sintered for 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours. Manganese oxide (MnO) occurs in many rock types and may take the form of minerals. MnO has its drawbacks, namely highly reactive oxidizing species classified as dangerous and explosive at temperatures above 55 °C. Despite this,MnO has excellent magnetic, electrochemical, and conductivity properties, which should be reduced to nano-size to maximize their use and improve the properties of MnO. The growing number of motor vehicles, particularly the exhaust gas as a result of incomplete combustion of fuels, has a very adverse impact on the environment. One effort to reduce exhaust emission levels is by applying a catalytic converter to the exhaust system. MnO is a chemical mixture that can be applied to a catalytic converter to reduce exhaust emissions because it is capable of binding CO and HC contained in motorcycle exhaust gases. This research was an experimental research aiming to investigate the difference in emission level of CO and HC between a motorcycle with and without a catalytic converter. The types of fuel used were RON 88 and RON 92. The results showed that the application of MnO as a catalyst could reduce the level of CO significantly in RON 88, i.e. 24.36%, and the level of HC in RON 88 and RON 92, i.e. 82.08% and 38.14 % respectively.

Duralium has mild character, high ductility, and resistance from corrosion. Doing heat treatment against this alloy by cooling variation can increase strength and ductility of this alloy. Cooling media variations which is used for this research are 10% dromus oil + water, 20% dromus oil + water, and 30% dromus oil + water. The purpose of this research is knowing the tensile strength of duralium in artificial aging process against cooling media variation 10% dromus oil + water, 20% dromus oil + water, and 30% dromus oil + water, type of fracture, and phase changing of duralium. This research include in experimental research category which uses the one-shot case study research model.
