Objective: To investigate the effects of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) supplementation on post-vitrification embryo development and gross morphology. Methods: Balb/c mouse embryos were cultured in potassium simplex optimised medium (KSOM) with varying CoQ10 concentrations [0 (control), 20, 40, and 60 μM]. The most effective CoQ10 concentration (40 μM) was selected for subsequent post-vitrification morphology study. Embryos were randomly divided into four groups: Group A (non-vitrified without CoQ10), Group B (non-vitrified with CoQ10), Group C (vitrified without CoQ10), and Group D (vitrified with CoQ10), followed by vitrification at the 8-cell stage. Survival rates and development until the blastocyst stage were evaluated through morphological examinations using ASEBIR’s system, distinguishing normal and abnormal embryos. The focus of this article's discussion is related to the integration of character education based on local culture at "Madrasah Aliyah" (Senior High School) in Aceh. The participants were determined purposively, and they were six "Madrasah" principals, and 50 teachers served at "Madrasah Aliyah" (Islamic secondary school ) throughout Aceh. The data were analyzed following the procedures of qualitative research. The results of the study suggest that the integration of character education based on local Acehnese culture was carried out through integration in learning, the preparation of a Characteristic Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) module, the role of the teacher as a role model, and the development of pesantren (boarding school) culture. The integration of character education based on local wisdom at "Madrasah Aliyah" in Aceh has implications for student character development, such as religion, integrity, critical thinking, independence, participating in social activities, and responsibility. Furthermore, the implementation of character education in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out through a distance-learning system (online). However, the use of this system still faces technical problems, but as a whole, it can be implemented effectively.

Abstract Background Geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPS) is a structural enzyme of the terpene biosynthesis pathway that is involved in regulating plant photosynthesis, growth and development, but this gene family has not been systematically studied in cotton. Results In the current research, genome-wide identification was performed, and a total of 75 GGPS family members were found in four cotton species, Gossypium hirsutum, Gossypium barbadense, Gossypium arboreum and Gossypium raimondii. The GGPS genes were divided into three subgroups by evolutionary analysis. Subcellular localization prediction showed that they were mainly located in chloroplasts and plastids. The closely related GGPS contains a similar gene structure and conserved motif, but some genes are quite different, resulting in functional differentiation. Chromosome location analysis, collinearity and selection pressure analysis showed that many fragment duplication events occurred in GGPS genes. Three-dimensional structure analysis and conservative sequence analysis showed that the members of the GGPS family contained a large number of α-helices and random crimps, and all contained two aspartic acid-rich domains, DDxxxxD and DDxxD (x is an arbitrary amino acid), suggesting its key role in function. Cis-regulatory element analysis showed that cotton GGPS may be involved in light response, abiotic stress and other processes. A GGPS gene was silenced successfully by virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS), and it was found that the chlorophyll content in cotton leaves decreased significantly, suggesting that the gene plays an important role in plant photosynthesis. Conclusions In total, 75 genes were identified in four Gossypium species by a series of bioinformatics analysis. Gene silencing from GGPS members of G. hirsutum revealed that GGPS plays an important regulatory role in photosynthesis. This study provides a theoretical basis for the biological function of GGPS in cotton growth and development.

Visible–shortwave near-infrared spectroscopy has been used for internal quality measurement, but the optical penetration to the thickness of fruit skin becomes a challenge. This research aimed to develop partial least square regression model for the soluble solid content (SSC) measurement of fruits having various skin thicknesses, namely dragon fruit, tomato, guava, sapodilla, and banana. The spectra of each fruit were taken in a reflectance mode over a wavelength range of 400–1,000 nm. The best models obtained from banana and sapodilla yielded determination coefficient of prediction (R 2 p) of 0.88 and 0.90 and root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) 0.39 and 0.38°Brix, respectively. The banana and sapodilla SSC prediction models should be able to be used carefully in a variety of applications. Tomato and guava had moderately thinner skin but had the lower R 2 p of 0.64 and 0.76 and the RMSEP of 0.17 and 0.26°Brix, respectively. The poorest model was yielded by dragon fruit, which had the thickest skin with the R 2 p of 0.59 and the RMSEP of 0.40°Brix. The model for guava, although having low R 2 p, can still be utilized as a screening criterion and in some other ‘approximate’ applications. However, the SSC prediction model for tomatoes and dragon fruit is not recommended to use and requires additional research. In addition to the effect of skin thickness, other fruit morphological influences the result of this study. Internal structure and seed number influence the reflection optical geometry, which also affects the SSC prediction model.

The relationship between reinforced concrete column tests and finite element behavior is crucial for understanding and optimizing the structural performance of these elements. Finite element analysis, on the other hand, is a powerful numerical method used to simulate the complex behavior of structures under different loads. By correlating experimental results from concrete column tests with finite element models, engineers can validate and refine their simulations, ensuring that the computational models accurately represent the physical reality. This iterative process of testing and analysis allows for the development of more reliable and efficient design methodologies, leading to improved structural performance and safety in construction projects. The synergy between experimental testing and finite element behavior not only enhances our understanding of structural dynamics but also contributes to the advancement of innovative and resilient construction practices. The results shows a good coincidence between the experimental and theoretical results.

ABSTRACT Objective: To present a case of urethral injury treated in a male adult. Case(s) Presentation: A 48 year old Asian male patient previously involved in a motor vehicle accident presented to the hospital with a chief complaint of pain and bleeding from the genitalia. On examination, it is revealed bleeding from the urethral meatus, pain in touch, palpable bladder, high riding prostate, and a butterfly-shaped bruising on the perineum. X-ray examination demonstrated soft tissue mass in the right scrotal region. The patient is diagnosed with urethral rupture with urinary retention and then underwent ultrasonography-guided cystostomy and perineal hematoma evacuation. The patient is followed-up 1 month later with a complaint of difficulty in voiding and erectile dysfunction. The patient is then diagnosed with urethral stricture and underwent direct vision urethrotomy. Discussion: Urethral injury is a rare type of injury of genitourinary trauma that may cause long term morbidity such as strictures, incontinence, impotence, and infertility. Urethral injury can be classified into posterior urethral injury which is associated with pelvic fracture and anterior urethral injury which is associated with blunt trauma. The gold standard of radiographic examination in urethral injury is dynamic retrograde urethrography. Prompt diagnosis, staging, and selecting intervention must be done for minimalizing complications. Sequelae may also develop which also affects quality of life. The usage of universal health coverage such as BPJS in In Indonesia can increase the accessibility of medical treatment. Conclusion: Urethral injury is a rare injury that requires prompt and careful management to minimize complications and increase the patient’s quality of life. Curcumin (CUR) is a Curcuma longa-derived polyphenol that has attracted the attention of researchers due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory and antiviral effects. CUR also demonstrates anti-HIV effects by acting as a possible inhibitor of gp120 binding, integrase, protease, and topoisomerase II activities, besides also exerting a protective action against HIV-associated diseases. However, its effectiveness is limited due to its poor water solubility, rapid metabolism, and systemic elimination. Nanoformulations have been shown to be useful to enhance curcumin’s bioavailability and its effectiveness as an anti-HIV agent. In this sense, bioactive effects of CUR in HIV infection are carefully reviewed, along with the most effective isolation techniques and type of nanoformulations available.Keywords: curcumin, bioactivities, HIV therapy, nanoparticles, nanoformulations

Densities, r, of 2-Ethoxyethanol (EGMEE) + 1,4-Dioxane (DXN) and 2-Butoxyethanol (EGMBE) + 1,4-Dioxane (DXN) systems have been measured in the whole range of composition at an interval of 5 K ranging from 303.15 to 323.15 K. Excess molar volumes, , partial molar volumes, , thermal expansivities,a, and excess thermal expansivities, aE, have been estimated from the experimental values of ρ. All of the derived properties have been fitted to appropriate polynomials. Values of and aE were fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation and their variations with composition and temperature have been discussed in terms of molecular interaction in the mixtures. Values of and aE were all positive and were attributed due to specific interactions.

Density (ρ) and sound velocity (u) have been measured for aqueous solutions of n-butylamine ( W + NBA) in the whole range of composition at an interval of 5 K. Deviation in Sound Velocity (∆u), Isentropic Compressibility (Ks), Excess Isentropic Compressibility (KsE), Specific Acoustic Impedance (Z), Rao's Constant (R) and Wada's Constant (W) have been calculated from measured u and ρ. ∆u versus x2 curve is negative and with the increment of temperature, ∆u decreases; Ks values of W + NBA are all positive whereas KsE values are all negative. All the above outcomes are interpreted in terms of molecular interaction especially hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic hydration between water and n-butylamine. Moreover, experimental data for u correlated with some theoretical equations. The relations are Nomoto’s Relation (uN), Impedance Relation (uIR), the Rao’s specific velocity method relation (uR), Van Deel’s ideal mixing relation (uIMR) and theoretical sound velocity according to Free Length Theory (uFLT). The validity of these relations with experimental values has been tested by measuring standard percentage deviation () and average percentage error (APE).

Viscosities (h) of three binary non-aqueous systems of ACN + MEA, + MMEA and + MEEA have been measured in the whole range of compositions at temperatures ranging between 303.15 and 323.15 K at an interval of 5 K. At different compositions, deviations in viscosity (Dh), free energy (ΔG‡) of activation for viscous flow along its excess values (ΔG‡E) were calculated from experimental ρ andh data. For all systems, h vs. x2 initially changed very slowly, but with the increment of solute concentration h were found to rise quite rapidly. The values of Dh were largely positive and they formed a sharp maximum invariably at the highly alkanolamine-rich regions. All positive values of Dh followed the increasing order as: ACN + MMEA > ACN + MEA > ACN + MEEA. The order of DG‡E at the maximum point was ACN + MMEA > ACN + MEA > ACN + MEEA. For the correlative model, zero parameter relations: Bingham, Kendall- Munroe, Gambill, and Eyring relations, one parameter relations: Hind, Grunberg-Nissan, Frenkel, Wijk, Katti-Chaudhri, Tamura Kurata and two as well as three parameter-based models: Heric, Ausländer, McAllister (3-body) and McAllister (4-body) Equation and the Jouyban-Acree model (JA) were employed to correlate viscosities. Ausländer equation fit the best for: ACN + MEA. McAlliester 4-body fit the best for ACN + MMEA and ACN + MEEA. All the above results were attempted to be interpreted in terms of the strength and order of self-association, intra- as well as intermolecular hydrogen bonding via OH···O or OH···N and the effect due to steric hindrance of the concerned alkanolamine molecules and interstitial accommodation of ACN into alkanolamine network.

Isomeric states of the neutron-rich isotope 18973Ta116 were populated via fragmentation of a primary beam of 208Pb ions at 1 GeV/u impinging on a 9Be target at GSI, Darmstadt, Germany. The isotopes of interest were separated, identified and delivered to the DESPEC setup. Two isomers were deduced in 189Ta116 and their lifetimes were measured based on the γ-ray time distributions.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realisasi ajaran agama dalam keseharian remaja terpelajar agar terbentuk pribadi yang ungul. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap 40 siswa di sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Bogor dari 267 siswa kelas 11. Hasil penelitian meunjukan bahwa remaja terpelajar merealisasikan ajaran agama dalam membentuk pribadi unggul dalam dua model; merealisasikan ajaran agama dalam menjalankan kewajiban agama (ibadah) dan merealisasikan ajaran agama dalam bentuk sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 30 remaja terpelajar dari sampel yang di ambil telah merealisasikan ajaran agama dala kehidupannya, dengan demikian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja terpelajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Bogor merupakan remaja terpelajar yang memiliki pribadi yang unggul

Refractive indices () and densities (r) of water (W) + n-butylamine (NBA), + sec-butylamine (SBA) and + tert-butylamine (TBA) systems had been measured in the whole range of composition at 303.15 K, from which deviation in refractive index (DnD ) molar refraction (Rm) and excess molar refraction () had been evaluated. All of the derived properties were fitted to appropriate polynomials. DnD were fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. Values of DnD were all positive and were all negative which were attributed to cross hydrogen bonding, specific interactions as well as interstitial accommodation effect. A comparative study of Lorentz-Lorenz (L-L), Weiner (W), Heller (H), Gladstone-Dale (G-D), Arago-Biot (A-B), Eykman (Eyk), Newton (Nw), Eyring-John (E-J) and Oster (Os) relations for determining the refractive index of a liquid had been carried out to test their validity for the three binaries over the entire mole fraction range of butylamines at 303.15 K.

This research is entitled Supervision of Subdistrict Heads in Efforts to Improve the Performance of Village Apparatus in Cireunghas District, Sukabumi Regency (Study in Tegalpanjang Village, Cireunghas District). From the author's initial observations, the performance of Village Apparatus has not been optimal, as can be seen from several complaints from several communities regarding public services. Apart from that, the sub-district is also not sensitive to phenomena in the field. The sub-district head, who is legitimized to implement the law, should develop village officials in order to improve their performance in accordance with the law. with its duties and functions. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Cireunghas District, Sukabumi Regency. Meanwhile, the objects in this research are place, actor and activity. Using combined triangulation and FGD techniques. The informants in this research included: the sub-district head, the sub-district secretary, the village development and supervision section, the head of Tegalpanjang Village, and the general public in Tegalpanjang Village, Cireunghas District, Sukabumi Regency. Data collection through participant observation, structured interviews and unstructured interviews. Study Documentation using tools: Observation Combination, Interview Guide, Field Notes, Data Validation using Triangulation (source, technique and time) and analysis using Reduction, Presenting Data and drawing Conclusions. Village Apparatus Performance (work performance) is the quality and quantity of work results achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. Improving employee performance includes paying attention to supervision from superiors to employees. However, the sub-district head's supervision in an effort to improve the performance of the village apparatus is not yet optimal because motivation and awareness of employee discipline in their work is still lacking, thus becoming an inhibiting factor in the process of sub-district supervision in Cireunghas District, Sukabumi Regency. A factorial experiment was carried out in the Jisr Diyala region, east of Baghdad, to study a comparison of the types of organic fertilizers in interaction with the levels of phosphate fertilizer and the quality of irrigation water on some soil properties and yield of broad bean(Vicia faba L), using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) according to the split- split plot arrangement, and with three replications. Three factors were used, the first factor is water quality (well water and Diyala River water, I1 and I2) and the second is two types of organic fertilizers (control, sludge and sheep waste by 5 Mg ha-1, M0, M1 and M2) and the third is the addition of three levels of phosphorus (0, 80 and 160 kg ha-1, P0, P1, and P2) respectively. Seeds of faba bean (Vicia faba L.), cultivar Luz-de-otoho, were sown in winter season 2022, and analyzes were made for some physical and chemical properties of the soil after harvest. The results showed that the type of organic fertilizers had an effect on some chemical properties of the soil after harvest, as the electrical conductivity (EC) of the soil after harvest decreased significantly. The highest decrease was in the treatment I2M2P2, which amounted to 2.74 dS m –1, with a decrease of 52.10% compared to treatment (I1M0P0). The degree of soil reaction (pH) also decreased significantly, and the highest decrease was for treatment I1M2P2 at 7.41, with a decrease 3.89% compared to treatment (I2M0P0) . While the organic carbon increased significantly, and the highest significant increase was for the treatment I2M2P2 at 17.10 g Kgt -1, with an increase rate of 179.87% compared to treatment (I1M0P0). It was found that there was a significant effect on the dry pods weight, as the highest significant increase occurred when for the treatment I2M2P2 at 33.95 g plant-1, with an increase of 141.12% compared to treatment (I1M0P0) . This study aims to analyse the sensory profile of a low-fat chocolate drink. The chocolate drink is being developed in laboratory of food science and technology department at Universitas Sebelas Maret. The QDA was applied to characterize the sensory profile of the developed product (sample D) and four commercial products (sample A, B, C, and E). 13 panellists were trained to evaluate those samples based on appearance, odour, flavour, basic taste and texture. Further, ANOVA was utilized to differentiate the samples, while PCA and Spider web were applied to analyse the sensory profile of the samples. The results showed that sample D was quite similar to sample A (dominated by cocoa aroma, cocoa flavour, sandiness, undissolved particles, colour, white-cream layer, thickness texture and bitter taste), whereas sample C had similar characteristic to sample E (represented by milky aroma, milky flavour, vanilla flavour and creamy texture). Meanwhile, sample B differed from others for representing malt odour and malt flavour attributes. It is implied from the result that sample A would be the potential competitor for the developed product since they may be in the same market segmentation. Therefore, the strategy of improving the developed product should take a look at the sensory attributes of sample A as a benchmarking.

Lingkungan pendidikan islami dan hubungannya dengan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 10 Bogor. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Lingkungan pendidikan islami dan hubungannya dengan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 10 bogor. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 10 yang berjumlah 295, dan yang dijadikan sampel berjumlah 45 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen, pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi dan regresi, Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik Pearson Correlation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan positif antara variabel lingkungan pendidikan islami dan variabel minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dihitung dengan Pearson Correlation, dan diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi antara variabel tersebut sebesar 0.770. Nilai koefisien determinasi dalam analisis ini diperoleh nilai 0,541 yang berarti 59,3 % variabel minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam bisa dijelaskan dari variabel lingkungan pendidikan islami. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa lingkungan pendidikan islami (X1) memiliki hubungan dengan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (Y) siswa SMA Negeri 10 Bogor. Emerging evidence indicates that many microRNAs (miRNAs) are indispensable regulators of osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. However, the role of miRNAs in mechanotransduction of osteoblasts remains to be elucidated. This study aimed to identify a mechanosensitive miRNA that regulates Activin A receptor type I (ACVR1)-induced osteogenic differentiation. After 4 weeks of hindlimb unloading (HLU) suspension of 6-month-old male C57BL/6J mice, femurs and tibias were harvested to extract total bone RNAs. Elevated levels of miR-208a-3p correlated with a lower degree of bone formation in whole-bone samples of HLU mice. However, in vitro overexpression of miR-208a-3p inhibited osteoblast differentiation, whereas silencing of miR-208a-3p by antagomiR-208a-3p promoted expression of osteoblast activity, bone formation marker genes, and matrix mineralization under mechanical unloading condition. Bioinformatics analysis and a luciferase assay revealed that ACVR1 is a target gene of miR-208a-3p that negatively regulates osteoblast differentiation under mechanical unloading environment. Further, this study also demonstrates that in vivo pre-treatment with antagomiR-208a-3p led to an increase in bone formation and trabecular microarchitecture and partly rescued the bone loss caused by mechanical unloading. Collectively, these results suggest that in vivo, inhibition of miRNA-208a-3p by antagomiR-208a-3p may be a potential therapeutic strategy for ameliorating bone loss.
