The research problem raised in the article is gathering experience and determining the possibilities of implementing modern forms of training used when training candidates for air traffic controllers. For the exercise of determining the separation time between aircraft with different maximum take-off masses, an application was created as part of the research program. As the applied research method, trainees' testing of the developed application at the training center can be considered. They had the opportunity to test the functionality and usefulness of software and ergonomics of created application. During application testing, students shared numerous comments on the usability and application's functions. It was confirmed that virtual reality helps recognize the silhouettes of aircraft and their learning thanks to the possibility of their actual presentation. The possibility of training the use of separation in air traffic before the simulator training starts would lead to preparation and visualization of theoretical knowledge in practical application. Creating an application to determine the separation time between aircraft with different maximum take-off masses has excellent potential for use in the training center. The development of the application consisting in extending this possibility would allow creating a tool that, in addition to training, would also be used as software for conducting internal examinations of the acquired knowledge during the subsequent stages of training.

This paper presents the methods for obtaining the geomorphological information needed to determine the crossing conditions of river beds as well as requirements concerning its interpretation, both historical as well as currently binding and arising from NATO normative documents. The included procedures were analyzed in view of their usefulness in estimating the possibilities of crossing river beds in the Polish lowlands. Detecting the appropriate places to cross big rivers situated in the area of the so-called “eastern NATO flank” appears to be thoroughly essential, especially in the current geopolitical situation.

"Nicht von schlechten Eltern - NischE": A Family Orientated Collaborative Care Approach to Support Children in Families with Mentally Ill Parents The present work describes the setting- and multi-professional offer "NischE" in Gutersloh, a systemic approach for the care of children and their mentally ill parents. Children of mentally ill parents are a special risk group for developing their own mental illness. The aim of the collaborative care model between child and adolescent psychiatry, youth services and adult psychiatry is to enable affected families in terms of family-focused practice a low threshold access to different services. For this purpose, two positions have been created to advise the affected families and support access to the help system in the sense of a systemic case management in a project. The article describes the background and the need for the development of the offer, the current scientific knowledge base on the subject and illustrates the procedure using a case study from practice.
