In construction cement mortar is consumption is about 30% of the volume of masonry. The durability and strength of masonry depends upon the strength of mortar also. In masonry mortar is laid between the courses of bricks hence its good compressive strength is essential requirement. In this investigation the compressive strength of cement mortar is tested with Nano Aluminum oxide. The water cement ratio is taken 0.5 and cement sand ratio is taken 1:3 by weight. It is found that while Nano aluminum oxide added 0.5–2% of the weight of cement compressive strength increases up to 16%.
